The ?Dawson?s Creek? actress makes her third appearance for the famed French fashion house?s Capucines and Lockit handbags, and everything is simple, understated and elegant.
Williams worked on the vintage-inspired spread with photographer Peter Lindbergh for the campaign under the creative direction of Nicolas Ghesquiere.
And according to LV press materials, ?The resulting series of portraits hints at the woman behind the actress, revealing the intriguing balance of force and fragility that made Michelle Williams such a compelling choice as the face of Louis Vuitton.?

Her first marriage to Nick Lachey didn?t turn out so hot, and Jessica Simpson plans on doing things a little differently now that she?s Eric Johnson?s blushing bride.
The ?Come on Over? singer penned an article for Glamour.com in which she shared five vows for making a happy home, and it?s truly great advice.
Jessica began, ?1. Remember who you are?and honor her. When I was younger and starting out in the music business, I always felt like I was being defined by other people?industry executives, fans, the media, and so on. It took a while, but now that I?m in my 30s, I?ve grown into myself and established my identity on my terms.?
Second, Simpson states, ?Let him love all of you. Eric has seen me at every size, and he loves me no matter what. When I got pregnant with Ace four months after having Maxwell, I was nervous about starting over again. I had come so far in learning how to balance my career, family life, and hormones, and starting over again felt overwhelming. Eric was so supportive and challenged me to accept my insecurities and focus on what truly matters.?
And then there?s the all-important ?me time.? ?We all have busy lives, but once the big day is over, it?s important to have something that you really love to do for yourself. That?s what building my business has been about for me. Whether it?s your career or a passion, find something that makes YOU happy. I sometimes second-guess spending time working?I want to be with my kids as much as possible! Then I remember how satisfying work is for me, and because I am fulfilled, I can offer the best version of myself to my family.?

I think at this point, genuine celebrities run into Kim Kardashian and they?re nice to her. Like, no one is rolling their eyes at her like they probably did four years ago. Maybe it?s that Kim has been around long enough, maybe it?s because she married Kanye, whatever it was, Kim has been ?accepted? by more legitimate figures in Hollywood. While I doubt Jennifer was gushing to Kim, I bet they were at the same place at the same time and Jennifer was probably perfectly pleasant to her. Here are some new photos of Renee Zellweger. Renee made a rare public appearance yesterday at 2014 Couture Council Awards benefit luncheon honoring Renee?s longtime friend and designer-ally Carolina Herrera. Zellweger?s best fashion moments came from wearing Herrera?s clothes, so it makes sense that Renee would show up to honor her friend. So, what?s the problem? The same problem that CB discussed in the past ? Renee is somewhat unrecognizable these days. She had something done last year. Some say she had eye work, some say it?s just injectibles. I have no idea. My theory involves an eye lift, I think.
Renee is wearing Herrera, obviously. The dress and the shoes are great, but as you could probably already tell, I?m a fan of Renee in Herrera. I wish Renee had more opportunities to walk red carpets these days ? she hasn?t had a new film out since 2010. Which is crazy for an Oscar-winning actress who was once one of the most in-demand actresses just a decade ago. What do you think is better for an actress ? the Renee method of dropping off the face of the earth for several years when the parts dry up, or the Nicole Kidman method of clinging to 30-something characters and relying on a steady stream of Botox and fillers to recapture your youth? I honestly can?t decide.
By the way, Renee is working on a film called The Whole Truth ? that the one where Daniel Craig dropped out just before production and now Keanu Reeves is playing the lead guy, a lawyer. It comes out next year. Will this be the first of many roles for Renee?s Phase 2?

Is it just me or are these photos of Lindsay Lohan at Tuesday night?s GQ Awards still really funny? She made sure the photographers got her looking cracked-out at every angle, and you can just see on her face that she?s beyond thrilled to be on the red carpet. Why, London? Why are you inviting the Cracken to actual A-listy events? And why are you interviewing her like she?s someone important and not someone who can?t even keep her crack-lies straight? Lindsay spoke to The Daily Mail and this conversation was? tragic.
Speaking to MailOnline at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards at London’s Royal Opera House on Tuesday night, Lindsay Lohan said: ‘Being here in London is all about me this time. Yeah English guys are cute, but it’s not about the boys. It’s about getting away from New York and Los Angeles and starting afresh, which is all very exciting for me. I love London and lived here for eight months once before, so it feels like home.’
Lindsay dazzled on the red carpet at the star-studded awards ceremony in a striking thigh-split gown, before transforming into a semi-sheer metallic mini-dress later in the evening. And although the Mean Girls star had her party dress on, she insisted she was calling it a night after presenting the Chef award to Tom Kerridge.
She added to MailOnline: ‘I’m not partying tonight, I’m going home as I need to be at work tomorrow. This is what it’s all about. I had a great night, but I was so, so nervous.’
After having made a concerted effort to ditch her party-girl reputation, Lindsay admitted she is still nervous about making her stage debut, as it’s so far removed from her big screen ‘comfort zone’.
Lindsay added: ‘I’m working hard, and yesterday was my first day of reading lines on stage. It was hard work and very scary, but that was what I came prepared for. I’ve been acting since I was a child, but this is something completely different and out of my comfort zone.’

Methinks Lindsay is genuinely ?nervous? about her debut on the London stage. I?m being serious! She?s really nervous. She?s nervous because she knows she?s going to be a cracked-out trainwreck. I honestly wouldn?t be surprised if Lindsay and her crack team of crackies are trying to lower expectations down to the sub-basement level so that if she manages to say some of her lines while standing upright, many will consider it a success.
And how much do you love this? ?Being here in London is all about me this time.? Honey, it?s always all about you. You are one of the most self-centered and selfish people I?ve ever seen. And obviously, she didn?t need to party after the show ? because she pre-partied #AlltheDrugs before she even stepped on the carpet.

Lily Collins covers the October issue of Marie Claire UK to promote Love, Rosie. I guess she’s trying to be a romcom queen after Mortal Instruments didn’t perform well. She’s cute, and she has a fetching English accent. As does Sam Claflin, her co-star. Suki Waterhouse makes her film debut in this movie. Suki plays the girl that comes between two friends who secretly love each other. Typical 20-something romcom.
I like what’s going on in this shoot. Lily has a new bob, and Marie Claire styled it to look slightly punky. She talks a lot about media perception and how her career is exploding (it’s not). She admits losing out on Gossip Girl and being upset about it. Lily still doesn’t believe nepotism had a hand in jump starting her film roles. I don’t blame her for feeling that way. We’d all be defensive on the subject in her position. Imagine going on a press tour and having everyone ask about “Sussudio.” Journos keep asking over and over again. Lily answers differently this time:
KStew & JLaw’s media reps: “It’s definitely not normal. There are preconceived ideas about them and the media wants to prove them wrong or find fault in them. They feel that, because they’ve known them since they were young, there is an ownership of their personal life. Jennifer and Kristen have done such a great job of navigating that; they’re witty, strong, funny, cool, young women. It’s really just nice to see that it’s possible to go through something like that and still be genuinely awesome people.”
Talking out against nepotism: “When I first met with agents I was asked, ‘Well, what makes you so special? Everybody in LA is a cousin or a daughter of someone.’ At the beginning, that was the most interesting thing about me. Now I’ve done eight films, it’s an afterthought. I get kids who say, ‘Oh, I love your movie, but my mum loves your dad.’ It’s really nice to be able to share that with him, but it doesn’t define who I am career-wise.”
The one that got away: “I tested for Gossip Girl. I wanted to be in it so badly, I thought at the time it was the end of the world. But now I think, ‘well I would have got pigeon-holed, have had to move to New York, leave high school and be signed away for six years. I wouldn’t have done the films I’ve done, and everything would have been so different.”
She didn’t know her dad was famous: “We’d be at dinner and people would come up for autographs and I thought, ‘Why do they want Dad’s?’ I remember one day I asked him the stupidest question: I’m like, ‘Did you ever do a music video?’. I had no idea.”
She’s single: “I’m working and enjoying finding out who I want to be. You can never rely fully on someone else to complete you. I think making somebody else your everything is adding way too much pressure; needing somebody to feel complete is a dangerous thing.”

Lily is perfectly civil in this interview. She’s probably had some media training after stories of a bratty ego circulated. She did seem a bit “above it all” on her last media tour, but she seems more grounded now.

Here are some photos of Gwyneth Paltrow outside of the Jimmy Kimmel studio in LA. She appeared on Kimmel last night to promote the Stand Up to Cancer special, which airs live on Friday night. Goop is co-executive producer this year, which means she?s probably called all of her A-list friends and asked them to make appearances. Kimmel put some clips of the interview online and I?ll be damned if I can find any video of her actually talking about Stand Up to Cancer. Instead, they talked about Goop, her school and her early career.
Here?s Jimmy kissing her ass about Goop. I love that he says that the shoes he bought for his wife didn?t fit!! ?That happens,? Goop says, idly wondering why peasants are buying her shoes.
Gwyneth talks about her kids? first day of school and first time riding the school bus. She also says that her elementary school was all about feelings and dancing and she never learned anything useful. This explains so much!
Gwyneth could have had a big part in the Vanilla Ice movie, Cool As Ice.
Not that bad. I?ll give Gwyneth credit for something ? when she?s out there hustling for a project, she?s open and playful in interviews. Coming off of too many Lip-Biter K-Stew interviews, this is refreshing.
Also ? the grey onesie is what she wore to Kimmel and then she changed into the black dress. How awful is that grey onesie? YIKES.

I realized the other day that I didn?t know when Homeland?s Season 4 was coming on and I didn?t really care. That?s not a knock on Claire Danes, who I think does a great job with the material she?s given. It?s just that the writers completely screwed up the last two seasons and I?m not sure I?m still invested in these characters. Especially after (SPOILER) there will be no Brody in the Season 4. Maybe if they promise to have Rupert Friend in every episode? Even then, it would have to be Rupert Friend without pants. Anyway, Claire covers the October issue of Harper?s Bazaar UK. You can read the full piece here ? I enjoyed it, but then again, I?m a fan. Some highlights:
Doing Homeland without Damian Lewis: ?I?m going to miss him. A lot of people, even my friends, were saying, ?Is he really dead?? And it?s absurd, but I think there?s a part of me that is also a little unsure. I?ll really start to believe it when we?re filming and he?s not there. That?s going to be hard and sad. I loved working with him and he carried half the weight of the show. So I?m a little bit daunted about what that means for me.?
Motherhood challenges: ?Being a mum is incredibly challenging but we still feel a pressure to talk about it in very romantic terms. And it?s not just that. We all have that resentment at times and anxiety about being trapped by the role, that responsibility. And then chemically it can run riot. Your mental state, the hormonal swings are so extraordinary and singular to the female experience and they haven?t been taken very seriously or considered very deeply… I mean, post-partum aside, even if you have the most healthy relationship with your child and have support and resources, it?s tough. It?s really tough. And there?s no ?off? button. [For me] that was the hardest adjustment. You always feel beholden to somebody… And for so long they?re like koala bears, you just feel a physical responsibility to be there for them to cling to. It?s pretty primal.?
How her ?cry-face? went viral: ?I?m surprised it?s so surprising. I have my guy, who thinks I?m pretty enough in our life together, so I don?t need to be seducing the audience that way. I think it?s also just my style, what I like in creative work, what I?ve always been attracted to, even as a little girl? I liked the ugly even as a kid, and I think that has stayed with me now.?
Staying in Toronto in the winter while Hugh Dancy films Hannibal: ?You?re just house-bound. I had to be strategic about how and when I took the garbage out. I mean, it was intense? I felt totally overwhelmed and displaced and I really didn?t have a sense of the city and was nursing all the time. Away from family and friends, it was quite extreme. Two months in, I accidentally found this mummy/baby yoga class where I met women who became best friends. I guess that?s common, you bond really fast…?
She?s very crafty: ?It got to the point where the crew made a sewing station out of my director?s chair, one arm was a pincushion and I had this special light. It was ridiculous but, you know, delightfully so.?
On loving Hugh Dancy: ?I?m genuinely in love with him. And I like hard things. You know, marriage is hard, but I?m up for it. I don?t do anything casually so dating is not for me. I would be marrying everyone I was with. When I met Hugh I was single for the first time and really looking forward to it, kind of bragging, ?I?m going to rock this.? Then I met Hugh…?

She talks a lot about motherhood and crafting and her childhood too. She even talks about Cyrus, who she says is turning into a ?ham.? Apparently he says ?Ciao? to people and Claire thinks it?s ridiculous and she wants people to know that she did not teach him to say ?Ciao.? He sings to himself and he throws tantrums. He sounds amazing.
As for Hugh? I always say that their body language seems so ?off? whenever they?re on a red carpet, but maybe that?s not the best indicator (LIES!). I didn?t realize that he films Hannibal in Toronto and that she camps out there with him. Maybe their marriage is a lot stronger than I previously thought!

Yay, a reason to write about The Rock! I can never pass up such an opportunity. He’s giving his serious face in this photo because he’s signed on for a serious role, sort of. The “serious” remark stems from DC’s rumored resolution to allow no humor in their comic book movies. (“Why so serious?” asked the Joker.) DC may have changed its mind. According to Slashfilm, DC’s new Shazam movie will be different and separate from all the Justice League stuff. Shazam will be fun, starting with the casting news of its baddie.
Dwayne Johnson has signed on to play Black Adam, a complex anti-hero and sometimes supervillain. The rumors have been buzzing for months. DC terribly wanted The Rock. They wanted him so bad that they let him choose whether to play the hero or the villain. Johnson announced his final decision on his Twitter page:

Rosario Dawson covers the October issue of Cosmo Latina to promote Sin City 2, which already bombed at the box office. That’s putting things mildly. It crashed hard. This isn’t Rosario’s fault. She had a pretty minor role and wasn’t featured in the film’s marketing (thanks, Jessica Alba). The film still has some international territories to attempt, but Robert Rodriguez waited too many years for this sequel to succeed. That’s a shame.
Anyway. Rosario looks stunning in this shoot. I’ve always wished she was a bigger star. She works on the reg, but she’s not a household name. Too bad. Rosario kicks some serious butt. This interview covers Rosario’s work for Voto Latino and some stuff about romance. She admits to being a “late bloomer” for losing her virginity. Is 20 years old considered “late”?
Voto Latino’s goals for 2014: “It?s not just about getting out there to vote, it?s also about who you vote for. We need more women of color in politics, because, otherwise, we?re not represented. Through our summit series, we?re engaging Latinos in community building and networking–it has been absolutely remarkable because we?re having students and dreamers from across the nation networking.”
Her teenage years: “I was an awkward teenager. I went stag to my prom. I was a virgin until I was 20 years old! My mother was raising five kids on her own, I wasn?t just going to sit back and be a horny teenager and continue some cycle of teenage pregnancy–I wanted more opportunities.”
Her wants in a relationship: “I?m a touch person, I love intimacy … I love men! I love romance. I would love to fall deeply in love with someone, but at the same time it?s not my everything.”
The most romantic gestures: “For me, it?s about forethought. For my 25th birthday, my then-boyfriend prepared a beautiful bath for me. He put flowers and a bunch of little candles everywhere. He was crazy busy, and he knew I loved a great bath! I remember it was so small but it was so special to me because he thought it through.”

Hmm. It’s certainly not a bad thing to lose one’s virginity at age 20. I wish I’d waited that long! All sexual encounters before age 25 have been wiped (as much as possible) from my mind. No one knows what they’re doing early on anyway. There’s no rush. I also appreciate Rosario’s eye towards the future. She grew up in poverty and didn’t want to become another teenage pregnancy statistic. Smart.

Bedhead emailed me about these photos, writing: ?Clive Owen has moobs?I repeat … Clive Owen. Moobs.? I told to her to shut her mouth because Clive is a Forever Dong. But then I looked at the photos and yeah? there?s some very small moob action going on. It’s not Gerard Butler-level… more like that awkward phase Tom Cruise went through a few years ago, when he kept wearing terrible sweaters that made his midsection look especially lumpy. What I’m saying is that it’s probably the sweater.
I haven?t written about Clive that much lately, or in the past few years. It?s not for lack of trying, actually. When we do get new photos of Clive, I always look to see if he?s given any new interviews and rarely there?s any kind of story. Clive has turned to premium cable these days ? he?s on Cinemax?s The Knick, which is being produced by Steven Soderbergh. It could have been a prestigious series ? it?s a period piece about a complicated doctor in a groundbreaking hospital in the early 20th century ? but it?s gotten mixed reviews. It did get renewed for a second season though, so maybe it?s a slow-burner. Clive is 49 years old now ? he?s no longer the go-to leading man, if he ever was. He probably likes TV work these days because it?s a set schedule and a steady paycheck.
And if you need a palate cleanser from the sweater photos, I?m including some pics of Clive at the Jaeger-LeCoultre gala dinner at the Venice Film Festival a few nights ago. That?s why he was wandering around Venice in a bad sweater ? Clive gets paid to show up at these kinds of gigs several times a year. And you know what? That?s fine. Clive reminds me a little bit of Colin Firth ? Firth has gone from Mr. Darcy/heartthrob to an older, distinguished, slightly jowly man. I think Clive is phasing into that period too. And YES for the love of God I would still hit it. Forever Dong.

Brangelina Wedding Coverage, Day 7. I?m not sure how I feel about all of the wedding info coming out in drips and drabs, but we finally got our hands on the print edition of People Magazine, so FINALLY I?m able to pass on all of the details about what really matters: the wedding food. YES. Here are my random thoughts as I?m going through People?s cover story:
*Shiloh wore a top hat, obviously. But did you know that Knox also wore a special hat? It looks like an old-school admiral?s hat. Like, Knox is working his very own nautical theme.
*Brad honestly didn?t see Angelina?s dress until she walked down the aisle.
*The kids wrote the vows that Brad and Angelina spoke to each other. ?They asked us to make promises to each other,? Angelina says.
*The cake that Pax made was ?adorably askew? and ?generously frosted.? There is a photo of the cake which looks like it?s about six cakes all stacked on top of each other. Pax looked very proud of it but I swear that Maddox is giving it the side-eye.
*Vivienne and Zahara tossed the rose petals but Z was in charge of holding the petal basket, only I swear that the ?basket? is just a ceramic souffl dish. The petals were hot pink.
*Not only did Brad have a stone engraved in the chapel in honor of Marcheline Bertrand, but both Angelina and James Haven wore special pieces of jewelry that once belonged to Marcheline. Angelina wore ?a little flower ring? on her index finger and James Haven wore an angel pin that he found in Marcheline?s jewelry box.
*Angelina designed Brad?s wedding band and he designed hers, all in association with Robert Procop. For the wedding, Angelina wore a pair of earrings that she already owned (I?m looking closely? they just look like simple pearls?).
*The wedding gown inspiration? Princess Fiona from Shrek. Hand to God!
*Versace tailor Luigi Massi has known Angelina for years and years and he ?knows and cares for the children,? as Angelina says. He was apparently fine with adding all of the kids? drawings on the gown and veil.
*WEDDING FOOD: ?kid friendly, BBQ-style fare, washed down with award-winning Miraval rose from the couple?s vineyards and Jolie?s beverage of choice, Bosnian rose petal juice ? a sweet drink made from brewed rose petals, strained and blended with simple syrup. Dessert included Pax?s cake along with several flavors of sorbet and chocolate and vanilla ice cream.?
*Brad?s parents posed for a really cute photo with Viv, Shiloh, Knox and Zahara. Both Jane and Bill wore all-black (I suppose in honor of Angelina!!).

Last thing ? Us Weekly?s sources claim that months ago, Angelina was seen ?stocking up? on bridal magazines in Hollywood. Back in May, she stopped by the Daily Planet and bought up copies of Martha Stewart Weddings and other wedding/bridal mags. My theory: she just bought the magazines for Zahara and Z was the one who acted as wedding coordinator for the Jolie-Pitt children. I can picture Z with a highlighter and post-its to mark the magazine pages. Can?t you?

Taking care of a few errands, Taylor Swift made her way around London, England earlier this afternoon (September 3).
The ?Trouble? beauty rocked a darling black dress with strappy heels as she stepped out of the Ham Yard Hotel and made her way out into the city.
Meanwhile, Miss Swift received a nomination for a 2014 CMA award in the Female Vocalist of the Year category.
During the nominations announcement on ?GMA? this morning, Robin Roberts asked Darius Rucker and Little Big Town what they thought about Taylor?s spot among the nominees and the singers chuckled and didn?t say a word about it. Awkward!

Always a fan of treating herself, Rihanna showed up in Antibes, France with some gal pals for a mini holiday on Wednesday afternoon (September 3).
The ?We Found Love? lady headed over to Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc wearing a black crop top with a white button-up skirt and ankle strap heels.
Earlier this week, Ri-Ri stopped off at the French island of Corsica as part of her Mediterranean cruise, and it appeared that she had procured some of the sticky icky.
As Rihanna puffed on a joint, she sipped a beer while sitting atop a motor scooter and chatting with a few friends. It looks like this girl is all about kicking back and loosening up.
