Chrissy Teigen, 30, just gave birth to daughter Luna a little under two months ago but she and husband John Legend are already thinking about expanding their family. A source tells E! that these two “do want another baby sooner rather than later” and that “They both always wanted a big family.” Chrissy opened up last fall about her struggles with fertility and told People Magazine several months ago that she would likely have to undergo another round of IVF treatments. She said that “The number of embryos we have left is not matching the number of people I want at my dinner table.” It seems really soon to be thinking about another baby but if they want a big family I guess they’re feeling the pressure.
Incidentally, in that People interview from February, Chrissy was somewhat prescient about the response she would get on social media. She said “For me, the toughest part will be people?s critiques of our parenting ? that will be tough.” She has had some really ridiculous criticism, but she seems to be trolling the trolls too – like when she recently went to an NBA game with a doll and snapchatted it to give the impression she was bringing her baby courtside.
Chrissy knows exactly what she’s doing. In a recent Twitter feud with Piers Morgan, she joked that trolling wasn’t a job because she’s tried it. John and Chrissy were responding to a tweet Piers posted with a video of Muhammad Ali, right after Ali passed, in which Piers pointed out that Ali has said some controversial things about race and racial equality. It was not the time to throw shade, and Chrissy and John called Piers out on it.

Get your tissues ready because I lucked out in being the one to deliver your Good News Morsel today. David Beckham is a tireless advocate for children all over the world. His charities range from buying mobility devices for disabled kids, to fighting HIV, to protecting children against violence. Last year, he celebrated a decade of ambassadorship with Unicef by partnering with them to found his 7 fund, advocating for children in seven countries for seven different initiatives. Recently, Becks travelled to Africa to see for himself how effective the charity has been and what can still be done.
Proving once again that he’s more than just a pretty face, David Beckham recently traveled to Africa to visit children living with HIV, who are receiving support from his charity 7 and UNICEF.
The longtime Goodwill Ambassador shared a sweet photo from his visit, in which he’s sitting and smiling with a young boy in his village.
“Had an inspiring time in Swaziland with @unicef,” Beckham wrote in the caption. “To see how how my 7 Fund is supporting children living with HIV.”
Beckham launched 7: The David Beckham UNICEF Fund last year to raise funds and awareness for vulnerable children by focusing on seven different countries and seven different initiatives. The name of the charity is a nod to Beckham’s lucky number on his football shirts as well as for his and wife Victoria Beckham’s daughter Harper Beckham, whose middle name is Seven.

I realize Becks is not a saint but I adore him; I am not sure what that says about me. He may not be top of his class but he is an amazingly talented person and has used that fame to do a lot of good. As Kaiser reminded me, when he travels for Unicef, Becks? one request is that he be allowed time to play some ball with the local kids; like in 2008 on his Sierra Leone trip when he asked the driver to pull over so he could join a pick up match he spotted while driving. In the video, just look at their reaction to him and his reaction to their ardor; he never stops smiling.
I have mentioned before when I fell in love with Becks, when I saw the video of him surprising fans at the 2012 Olympics. The way I see him is he understands the impact he had on people when he was a football god. Even though his talent earned him his fans, he never seems anything less than humbled by their enthusiastic reception of him.
And Christ on a Cracker he is still excruciatingly hot.

You guys know that I love Agatha Christie, right? I love Miss Marple. I love Hercule Poirot. I love that Christie was so badass and ahead of her time. And I love a good TV or film adaptation of Christie?s work. My favorite adaptation is the one of the most recent BBC adaptations of Miss Marple, starring the late (great) Geraldine McEwan. But I?ve always loved David Suchet at Poirot too. Suchet got to do a big (TV) adaptation of Poiret?s most famous story, and arguably Christie?s most beloved work, Murder on the Orient Express, a story loosely based on the Lindbergh Baby Kidnapping. That was in 2010, and that episode had a stellar cast including Jessica Chastain, Toby Jones, Eileen Atkins and Hugh Bonneville. And of course, there was another film version of Murder on the Orient Express back in 1974. Well, now the book is being remade again, this time with Kenneth Branagh directing. And according to Variety, Angelina Jolie is in talks to play a vital role.
Angelina Jolie is in talks to star in Kenneth Branagh?s mystery ensemble Murder on the Orient Express, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. If a deal is closed, Jolie would play Mrs. Harriet Hubbard, a role once played by Lauren Bacall in the oft-made adaptation. The Fox film is based on Agatha Christie?s classic mystery that has been in the works for years (the deal to secure the rights with the Christie estate was seven years in the making). Shooting is expected to begin in November in London and then move to Malta.
The story centers on special detective Hercule Poirot, who boards a train from Jerusalem to Europe only to have a murder committed in the car next to his during a snowstorm. Poirot tries to discover the murderer or murderers before there’s another victim.

This is exciting! At first I misread this and I thought Jolie would be playing the role played by Ingrid Bergman, a role which many considered (at the time) to be one of Bergman?s best and one for which she won another Oscar. I could see Jolie in that role too. I kind of think Jolie is too young to play the Mrs. Hubbard role? That woman should be in her 50s or 60s, realistically. But the Bergman part ? absolutely. Still, I would love to see Angelina take any part in this. This sounds good! And if Angelina is getting an approach, I would imagine some other interesting actors are also being courted.

We haven?t covered Lindsay Lohan in a few months, and she?s been desperate for attention this week, so let?s give it to her. Lindsay spent much of the week in London, partying and pap-strolling and leaking stories about herself. She even spent time with Kourtney Kardashian (that must have been a meeting of the minds). But yesterday Lindsay was in Spain. Someone (an idiot) hired Lindsay to be the (crack)face of the Uno de 50 jewelry line. So Lindsay got a flight to Madrid and she got to do a photocall, posing in some of the jewelry. And hey, it worked! I?m covering these photos, so it worked. Just like I assume I’ll re-use these photos when the jewelry claims that some of his jewelry got crack-heisted.
I mostly wanted to talk about these photos because I?m interested in seeing your reaction to how Lohan looks these days. In some shots, I think she looks okay, almost presentable and somewhat sober. In other photos, I think she looks glassy-eyed and terrible. Also: is this dress incredibly unflattering or did she get another boob job?
Meanwhile, did you know that Lindsay is still engaged? It?s true. She?s engaged to a 22-year-old Russian ?businessman? who seems just as shady as Lindsay. But they?re enjoying themselves and he?s even going to throw a big party for Lindsay?s 30th birthday this summer.
Lindsay Lohan?s fianc, Egor Tarabasov, is throwing her a 30th birthday party in Greece. The 22-year-old Russian trust-fund kid and real estate agent told Lohan?s pals to save the date for a giant July 2 bash in Mykonos.
The exact location hasn?t been revealed as yet, but the party?s planners might want to steer clear of the restaurant Sea Satin Market ? where Lohan reportedly racked up a $1,300 bill in 2015 before leaving without paying. Staff spent three days searching for her before a pal paid up.

Sure. I keep waiting for Egor?s family to shut this down, but maybe they figure that Egor will eventually tire of Lindsay?s drama and antics. But what worries me is that Lindsay has ?caught? someone wealthy and she?ll get pregnant soon.

She?s funny, she gives great interviews, and her persona is ?the real girl.? She also had a Midas touch when it comes to box office ? even her smaller, artsy outings are financially successful (for the most part). So of course J-Law sees #AllTheScripts. She?s sent every script and offered every role for a character between the ages of 16 and 40, regardless of whether J-Law could realistically play the role, regardless of the fact that she still has a baby-face and she can never look older than ?early 20s.? So how do you feel about Jennifer Lawrence, Our Lady of Dorito Farts, being cast as 32-year-old Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes?
Jennifer Lawrence is attaching herself to Adam McKay?s drama about medical company Theranos and its 32-year-old founder Elizabeth Holmes. Theranos is the blood-testing startup that once had Silicon Valley investors salivating over its commercial potential with a $9 billion valuation as recently as two years ago. Gary Sanchez Productions is producing with Sanchez producer Kevin Messick planning to approach buyers next week.
Founded in 2003 by Holmes, Theranos claimed to have revolutionized blood testing by being able to use only a pinprick of blood, rather than traditional methods of drawing blood by injection. The company however is now under investigation over claims of inaccurate test results and Holmes? own worth ? at one point valued at $4.5 billion by Forbes thanks to her 50% stake in the company ? has plummeted to a fraction of that. What?s more, Theranos may even be banned from practicing for two years for failing to resolve significant problems at its main California lab, according to a report from federal health regulator The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

I think it?s an interesting story ? more on that in a moment ? but this seems like a role for an actress who is just a tad older. While I think J-Law IS a wonderful actress, I?m not sure her strength is super-serious corporate/medical dramas? She?s good at melodrama, action, comedy, etc. But this seems like something more for Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon, Kirsten Dunst or Rachel McAdams. You can see photos of Holmes here ? while J-Law certainly looks a bit like Holmes, Rachel McAdams looks so much like her, they could be sisters.
As for the story of Theranos and what really went wrong? I don?t know. Vanity Fair has had some great stories about the drama though ? go here and here to read some of the latest developments.

As we discussed yesterday, Maria Sharapova received a two-year ban on professional tennis after she admitted (after she tested positive) to using a banned substance. Sharapova?s version of the verdict is that the ITF found that she did not intentionally use banned substances, that it was all some big misunderstanding. But if you read the full decision ? you can see the PDF file of the decision here ? you might realize that the ITF investigated Sharapova thoroughly and they had many good reasons for implementing the two-year ban. Still, most people aren?t going to delve that deeply into it, especially because Sharapova is going to appeal the decision and she?s still fronting like she really didn?t do anything wrong. What?s surprising is that so many of Sharapova?s sponsors aren?t delving too deeply into the ITF?s decision either. Many of the sponsors are sticking with her. Shock of shocks.
Maria Sharapova has found support from sponsors after being given a two-year suspension for failing a drugs test at the Australian Open. Sharapova has vowed to fight the ban, announced by the International Tennis Federation on Wednesday, after she tested positive for prohibited substance meldonium and high-profile sponsors Nike, Head and Evian are standing by the Russian, with Nike lifting the suspension they imposed on their contract when news of her failed drugs test emerged in March. At the time of the failed test, the sportswear company said it was putting its eight-year, $70m deal on hold. But in a statement on Wednesday night, it said that it had decided to continue working with Sharapova.
?The ITF Tribunal has found that Maria did not intentionally break its rules. Maria has always made her position clear, has apologised for her mistake and is now appealing the length of the ban,? read Nike?s statement. ?Based on the decision of the ITF and their factual findings, we hope to see Maria back on court and will continue to partner with her.?
Sharapova?s racket provider Head never wavered in its support of her, citing her as a ?role model and woman of integrity? at the time of her failed test and proceeding to extend her deal. On Thursday, Evian said in a statement: ?The ITF tribunal concluded that Maria Sharapova?s contravention was not intentional. Following this announcement, Evian has decided to maintain its long-lasting relationship with the champion.?
Two of Sharapova?s other sponsors, watchmaker Tag Heuer and luxury car brand Porsche, have been less supportive. Porsche suspended activities with Sharapova following her failed test, and will now wait for the verdict to her appeal to the Court of Arbitration to Sport. The company said in a statement: ?We have taken note of the recent International Tennis Federation ruling in the case of Maria Sharapova and are especially aware that it was decided that she was not accused of intentionally violating the World Anti-Doping Code. As Maria will appeal the decision, we will continue to keep all activities with her on hold until the final judgement has been reached.?
Tag Heuer announced in March it had decided not to renew Sharapova?s contract, but has not ruled out working with her again in the future. Cosmetics brand Avon are also severing ties with Sharapova but insist that is not because of her doping ban. A spokesperson said: ?Avon?s relationship with Maria Sharapova was a limited engagement that focused on one of our fragrances. The engagement is set to expire and we had not planned to extend this relationship regardless of the current situation.?

The biggest deal was Nike, because that?s her most lucrative contract, and I?m absolutely shocked that they?re sticking with her. While Sharapova has always been more of a model than a professional tennis player, surely it?s bad business for an athleticswear company to continue spending tens of millions of dollars on an athlete banned from her sport following a thorough investigation? Surely it would just be easier for Nike to sever ties with Sharapova ? for good cause, mind you ? and start over with another player?
And of course there?s a larger conversation to be had about privilege and what the reaction would have been if one of the Williams sisters had tested positive. Can anyone say that this would have the reaction if Serena was in this situation?

Sharapova took to the beach with friends just one day before hearing she had been slapped with two-year ban… The ban has been backdated to January 26 – the day the Russian failed her drugs test in Melbourne – meaning it will end on January 25, 2018.
The ban was at the heavier end of expectations and it means she cannot play a Grand Slam until the French Open in 2018.
