She?s revealing all in her new book ?You Have No Idea,? and it turns out Vanessa Williams has had more than her fair share of struggle over the years.
The ?Desperate Housewives? actress gave an interview with ABC?s ?Nightline? in which she divulged her abortion as a teenager.
"Being pregnant is the most frightening thing that happens in your life. I knew in high school that's something that I was not prepared to do or fight or struggle with,? Vanessa noted.
As for her decision to talk about her childhood molestation in the book, Williams explained, "It was definitely a choice, because it didn't need to be [in there]. It happened one night where she told me, 'Come over here'?I didn't know that it was wrong, but I knew that it wasn't right because I wasn't supposed to tell anybody."
"I think I was highly sexualized because I was in fifth grade and I had this experience. Because it feels good, you're like, OK, well this is supposed to be normal. That's not normal for a 10-year-old to be seduced."

Looking beautiful on the red carpet, Catherine Zeta Jones stepped out to support her husband Michael Douglas - who was an honoree at the 12th Annual Monte Cristo Awards in New York City on Monday (April 16).
The "Traffic" actress shined in a sparkly black and gold dress next to her "Wall Street" actor partner, who wore a blue suit and tie for the gala event in which his lady was able to present him an accolade for his latest accomplishment.
Trustee of the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, Douglas was recognized for his accomplishments and contribution to the American Theater while joining past recipients James Earl Jones, Kevin Spacey and Douglas' mentor Karl Malden.
The event featured stage acts, video tributes, musical adaptations, and remarks by close friends and colleagues to Douglas who can be seen as one of America?s iconic film stars.

Here are some new photos of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas last night at the Eugene O?Neill Theater Center?s 12th Annual Monte Cristo Award Gala. Michael received an award – the 12th annual Monte Cristo Award ?in recognition of his achievements and contributions to the theater community, both internationally and in the U.S.? Catherine presented the award to him? which is nice. Although? does Michael do much for theater? Catherine has been on Broadway, but has Michael? Does he produce theatre shows? Oh? I just saw this – Michael got his start at the O?Neill Theater back in 1966, and he?s served on the board of trustees since 1980. Okay, that makes sense. He?s spent the last 32 years on the board of an influential theater. Carry on!
As for 42-year-old (!!!) Catherine? well? she looks okay. The Mail has a glowing piece (here) about her appearance, including the phrases ?the raven-haired beauty was so radiant?? and ?showed off her enviably toned physique?? Sure. She looks fit and healthy and I sincerely hope she?s doing a lot better this year. I like her dress too – it?s conservative and pretty and it says ?I?m a beautiful woman and I want to look nice, but this night is about my husband.? Zeta is always great about dressing for the occasion.
Catherine has two films coming out this year, and both will probably garner more attention than her work has gotten in the past few years. First, she has a supporting part in Rock of Ages, which comes out this summer. Then, around Christmas, she?s in that romantic comedy Playing the Field, with Gerard Butler and Jessica Biel. While Zeta?s career isn?t at Meryl-level, she?s doing okay, I think. As for Michael? he’s due to film that long-gestating Liberace project soon. *crosses self*

New photos of Angelina Jolie! Angelina stepped out yesterday in LA for some business meetings, and she was wearing her engagement ring, of course. The photos of the ring aren?t all that great – I don?t know why the paparazzi couldn?t get better-quality images of the ring. Maybe it was because Angelina kept moving? I swear, Angelina and Brad should have just done a photo call for their engagement, like Prince William and Kate Middleton did. Just stand there for ten minutes and let everyone take photos of them (and the ring). But in lieu of a formal photo call, we get this.
I feel like Angelina did this outing on purpose, so more photo agencies would get a chance to get pics of ?Angelina the fiance?. She wore a cotton dress in a flattering grey, those nude wedges that she absolutely loves (which I?m tired of), and she paired her outfit with a $2000 Yves Saint Laurent Chyc Cabas satchel. I?m not in love with the bag (and I?m a purse person too), but I think it suits Angelina and this ensemble. I kind of love that Angelina came out and smiled and she was happy to show off her ring. She?s our American royalty (for better or for worse, people).
As we discussed yesterday, People Magazine has a ?special edition? this week all about Brangelina?s engagement and the ring and everything. People Mag claims the ring is worth about $1 million, while Us Weekly has merely upped the price tag from $250,000 to $500,000. My guess is still on the higher end of the scale, not just because of the quality of the diamonds used, but also because of Brad?s efforts in designing the piece, and you have to figure in ?What would this go for at auction?? As I said yesterday, I?m not crazy about the ring – it?s not my taste. It seems very dated and 1980s to me, but? that?s Angelina?s style. She loves big, chunky, 1970s jewelry, and God knows, she loves 1980s style (including shoulder pads and Dynasty hair). So? I bet she loves her ring.

Nicole Kidman and Clive Owen star in HBO?s Hemingway & Gellhorn, the true story of Ernest Hemingway and Martha Gellhorn?s stormy, balls-out marriage (and divorce). I previewed the TV movie here, when the trailer came out. It looks? awful. Clive as Hemingway is an interesting choice, I guess, but quite honestly, I can?t see past Nicole?s crazy lips or her 44-year-old school-girl routine. To promote the film, Clive joined Nicole for the May cover of W Magazine. Nicole has long collaborated with W for interesting pictorials – in one of my favorites, circa 2007, she and Daniel Craig looked like they could eat each other up. That was a hot photo shoot. This one? is not. Clive looks kind of constipated and Nicole just looks? dear God. That blonde wig. Why do I feel like she went blonde specifically because she knew she was in talks to play Grace Kelly? Anyway, you can read Clive and Nicole?s full interviews here, and here are some highlights:
Clive on falling in love with his wife, Sarah-Jane Fenton, while playing Romeo to her Juliet: ?After drama school I did a seven-month tour of Europe performing in Romeo and Juliet. I played Romeo. I was at the first rehearsal, thinking, I wonder what Juliet is going to be like, and she came in. She had a corduroy jacket on and was carrying a pile of secondhand books, and her glasses were falling off. I kind of fell in love at that moment? When we did the big balcony scene, I always thought we had this amazing connection. Much later, she admitted to me she couldn?t even see me because she?s so shortsighted, and she didn?t wear her glasses onstage [laughs]. At the time, I didn?t think it would be a great idea if Romeo and Juliet got together, so we didn?t do anything about our relationship until halfway through the run. We finally got together in Belfast, and now we have two daughters.?
Clive on sex scenes versus death scenes: ?It?s much harder to do a death scene. You?ve got to do it convincingly, and it?s a huge thing to die [laughs]. Sex scenes are only hard if there?s no narrative conveyed through the sex scene. In the Hemingway film, the sex scenes have a story going through them. It?s part of who these people are and what they are.?
Clive on Hemingway: ?As a writer, he doesn?t have the same impact in England as he does in America. I spent five, six months doing research. I went to his house outside Havana, Cuba. The incredible thing about the house, which his wife donated to the Cuban government, is that the moment he died, they locked the place down. They don?t usually let people inside, but they set it up for me. I got in Hemingway?s home, and everything is still there. His clothes are in the closet. His books. His typewriters. His coats are still hanging in the closet just as he left them?. I tried on his boots. I don?t think I?ve ever done anywhere near as much research for any part. It was hugely enjoyable to walk around hearing Hemingway?s voice in my head.?
Nicole Kidman on Martha Gellhorn: ?I knew nothing about Martha, but I?ve always been drawn to unique women who are willing to take on the world. The exciting thing about this film is that you see her discovering her nature. At the beginning, she?s a lot of talk. She knows that she?s either got to get her hands dirty and become what she pretends to be or she?s a fraud. In the end, Gellhorn out-Hemingways Hemingway.?
Nicole?s first movie memory: ?The Wizard of Oz. The Wicked Witch of the West had the biggest impact on me. When the striped stockings disappeared under the house, I wanted to become an actor. No, [I didn?t want to play Dorothy.] I was always interested in the character roles. I thought the witch was much more fascinating than Dorothy.?
Nicole on her mom: ?She always believed in me, but she?s tough on me too. She?s lived a life where she made a lot of compromises. She would have loved to be a doctor, but she didn?t come from the generation of women where she could go and be a doctor. She became a nurse instead. Not that there?s anything wrong with being a nurse, but she wanted to be a doctor. Until I won the Academy Award [for The Hours], I was kind of pursuing things to please her. I?ve really tried to sever that? She likes The Hours. And Moulin Rouge. She didn?t like Fur, but she said she?s going to rewatch it.?
Nicole on nudity: ?I don?t mind being naked. Maybe as I get older, and now after having had a baby, it might be different, but I enjoy not letting my issues get in the way of a performance. Once I start putting all my little insecurities in my mind, I?m not actually acting. Then it?s about me?and it should never be about me. It should be about the character.?

Meh. Clive always tells that story about meeting his wife. Almost like he?s reminding all of us that YES he?s married and that he and his lady met under wonderful circumstances – Romeo and Juliet, night after night on stage. As for the HBO film? look, I would love for it to a raging success. Clive needs some success, because he?s barely been working lately. But this film just looks like such a mess.

Heidi Klum covers the May issue of Allure, and the photo shoot — which I think is supposed to be a homage to 1970s Vogue shoots — is just so zzzzzzzzzz. As much as I admire Heidi’s entrepreneurial spirit and business savviness, I can’t get excited about her as a model, which is weird, right? Like even with the below nude shot, she’s merely a bronzed, blonde Goddess of Boredom:
Maybe I’m being too hard on Heidi here, and it’s really the stylists to blame for this photo shoot atrocity. The interview is much more interesting, and here are some excerpts where Heidi talks about various things including breaking into modelling and how awful plastic surgery looks to her:
On her pre-Victoria’s Secret career: “I never did fashion shows–not in Paris or Berlin or even in New York City. I tried, but no one would book me. I was too curvy and too busty and a little too short. And I was a little bit self-conscious about it. But I was by no means heavy, I just–well, you have hips and boobs, and that’s it. Haute couture, you don’t really see girls with big boobs. And I always wanted first to be a model. So I had to say, ‘OK, you’re going to find other things to do in this industry, or it’s maybe not my industry.’”
Gay men are awesome: “They are like this kaleidoscope of interesting thoughts and opinions. They teach you so many things about men that are useful.”
She’s never had cosmetic surgery or botox: “Ask me again when I’m 65, but…I’m proud to be able to say, in this day and age, I haven’t done anything. Everyone has a view of what’s pretty and what’s not pretty, and [surgery'just doesn't look pretty to me. Especially when I see it on really young girls. I don't want to name names, but it's like, Wow, I remember you five years ago, looking to me so beautiful, and now it's like... who is this person? And I know girls half my age who do it. What are they gonna do at 40 or 50, when the sh-t really hits the fan?"
On marriage/divorce to Seal: "It's hard, just like for other couples. People go through our trash cans. It's crazy. And you know, we have four kids; they have to go to school. You know, I wouldn't change anything. If I had to go back in time and say, 'I should have changed this or that...' No. I don't resent anything that ever happened. Things just turn out the way they turn out... I'm still in the eye of the storm now, and it's all a little bit crazy. But sometimes you have to be apart in order to figure it out."

Do I believe that Heidi has yet to alter her appearance with either cosmetic surgery or botox? Sure, she looks pretty damn natural to me. On a more amusing note, who do you think she was talking about when mentioning, “I don’t want to name names” … possibly Kim “Kat Face” Kardashian? That would be my first guess.
As far as Heidi talking about her marriage to Seal, eh. Of course she would change things that happened in the past, or she wouldn’t have just filed for divorce after word got out that she was probably banging Thomas Hayo. Then again, Seal is probably banging Delta Goodrem (who doesn’t look unlike Heidi) even though he insists that they’re just friends. Whatever.

Sounds like Halle Berry has learned her lesson. The Oscar winning actress once swore she’d “never, never” get married again. Then Olivier Martinez entered her life.
Dating since 2010, Us Weekly broke the news in January that the French actor, 46, had proposed to Berry–who has been married twice before, to baseball player David Justice and R&B singer Eric Benet–over the holidays.
Still, Berry, 45, had refused to confirm her and Martinez’s happy news until now.
Opening up to Extra at an event Saturday, the Dark Tide star laughed when asked about her engagement to Martinez. “Who knew? I swore [marriage] off, right?”
Added Berry, “Never say never, people!”
Martinez, for his part, finally confirmed the couple’s engagement in March, telling Miami.com, “Yes, of course we’re engaged!”
Prior to meeting the actor-turned-restauranteur, a source told Us that Berry really had “given up” on marriage–but changed her tune as soon as she got to know Martinez, and saw how wonderful a father he would make to Nahla, her 4-year-old daughter with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.
“She trusts Olivier,” the source shared. “He makes her feel safe. He’s a keeper!”

A glowing Angelina Jolie was all smiles as she stepped out of the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles this afternoon (April 16) showing of her new 16-carat diamond engagement ring.
The ?Changeling? actress sported the same olive colored dress she was spotted in when entering the hotel looking very thin while she waved to cameras looking very thrilled about her engagement to mega-star and longtime beau, Brad Pitt.
Rumors are flying regarding the Jolie-Pitt wedding, which is being compared to the Royal engagement held in 2011. The largest betting company in Europe, Ireland?s Paddy Power, gave Versace 5-2 odds that the 36-year-old actress would choose the designer for her wedding dress.
"There is little doubt that the Brad and Angelina wedding will be the showbiz story of the year," a Paddy spokesman said in an interview with E!. "With both the media and the public already speculating on every element of the wedding, we thought it was only fair that we offered our customers the chance to bet on it."
Other hopefuls include Max Azria, Giorgio Armani, Elie Saab and British brand Amanda Wakeley.
