Amber Heard covers the February issue of French magazine Jalouse. The timing on this magazine cover couldn’t be more rotten for Vanessa Paradis. Even though Vanessa harbors no ill will for Johnny and Amber, I’m sure it won’t be easy to see Amber’s smug mug on French newsstands this month. This issue hits stands almost immediately after the fateful engagement was announced. You may notice the headline refers to Amber as the “girlfriend of Johnny Depp” because magazines don’t have the quick turnaround time that us gossip blogs do. Muhahahha.
I’ve been trying to get inside Amber’s head since the big announcement. From my POV, it wouldn’t bother me at all to find an insanely rich, A-list guy like Johnny Depp. That would mean instant financial security, and I can’t blame Amber for hopping on that. I’d like to think that I’d also continue working like she will probably do. What would bother me is the notion that better jobs and roles would come my way simply because of a husband. The media is much more interested in Amber now that she might (and I say “might”) become Mrs. Depp. Time and Parade have published “5 things to know” type lists, and that’s only the beginning. Will this translate into better roles for Amber one day? I think Katie Holmes knows the answer to that question.
What I’d really like to talk about is this Jalouse shoot. The cover is gorgeous. The editorial? That’s a whole other ballgame. Why does she want to look like a blow-up doll? She is intentionally making over-the-top, open-mouthed faces. This isn’t a case of a photographer asking her to relax her jaw. This is full-on beej mode. Is this what makes Amber such a free spirit? She looks like a sex doll. Not an artist.

It feels weird to have an awards season without George Clooney and a ?Clooney girlfriend? on every red carpet. Clooney made some appearance in November and December on behalf of Gravity (he had a small part) and August: Osage County (he?s a producer). But the awards shows have been Clooney-less, except for that one amazing joke Tina Fey and Amy Poehler told at the Globes (?’Gravity’ is nominated for best film. It’s the story of how George Clooney would rather float away into space and die than spend one more minute with a woman his own age.?) While George has been promoting The Monuments Men, he?s been asked about the joke, and he said it was ?well-crafted? but that Tina and Amy ?poked the bear? and they should expect retribution. That sounds sexy.
But I do have to say? I?m still surprised that Clooney hasn?t picked up an official girlfriend yet. He and Stacy Keibler broke up what? Six months ago or more? And still no official girlfriend, and he probably won?t get one until this summer. He likes having an official for summers at Lake Como. For now, though, Clooney is renting himself off for $$$. It?s better than it sounds:

Kim Kardashian has lost almost 70 pounds since giving birth to daughter North in June, but she?s far from done.
?Kim wants to be thinner than her pre-baby body and is willing to do anything to get there,? a friend exclusively tells In Touch. With her wedding just a few months away, the new mom is hell-bent on dropping more weight ? no matter what the cost to her health. ?She?s desperate to be a size-0 bride,? says a pal.
She?s also trading in mommy-and-me time with North for three-hour workout sessions. ?She works out every day at 5 a.m.,? her close pal Jonathan Cheban tells In Touch.

Oh, is this about Vogue? That might make more sense than being a size-zero bride. Because quite honestly, I don?t think Kanye wants a size-zero bride. He wasn?t happy when she gained weight during her pregnancy, but I imagine he loves her at her current size. Kim Kardashian’s shapely bottom is so famous it has its own Twitter account. But, like many of us, it appears that even Kim has problems finding jeans that flatter her famous curves. Now it has been revealed that the 33-year-old pays an expert tailor the princely sum of 3,000 a day to be on hand at all times to ensure that her jeans fit perfectly. According to Grazia, Kim and Kanye employ stylist Cornelius Clay to make alterations whenever the couple desire.
‘It means Kim can buy jeans, have them altered and be photographed in them within a matter of hours,’ revealed the source, who also claimed that Kim even gets her own Kardashian Kollection jeans tweaked.
‘Kim has a size 4 [UK size 8] waist and size 10 [UK size 14] bottom, so she often has to buy a size up and have jeans taken in at the waist for a snug fit. She’s only 5ft 2in, so they’re often taken up a few inches, too,’ added the source.
After Kim made a very racy appearance in Kanye’s music video for Bound 2, it was claimed she may have had a little help in slimming down her waist in scenes which show her writhing around topless on a motorcycle. But the mother-of-one – who welcomed baby daughter North ‘Nori’ West’ into the world last June – has insisted she worked hard to achieve her trim post-pregnancy shape, after months out of the spotlight during which she embarked on a gruelling exercise regime and strict high-protein Atkins diet.
Asked how she achieved her gym-honed physique by TMZ last week, she said: ‘No carbs, workout and dedication!’
And the showbiz stalwart admitted losing the 50lbs she gained while pregnant was the ‘biggest challenge’ of her life. Speaking to chat show host Jay Leno in late October, she said: ‘Actually I got on the scale today and it said that I am 50lbs down. That made me so excited. I can honestly say it was the greatest challenge of my life.’

The 41-year-old actress looked picture perfect for the Dewey Nicks-shot front page while opening up about transforming her fitness method and revealed her former obsession with Taco Bell.

On Taco Bell:
"I saw a Taco Bell yesterday?it made my stomach scream. If I had nothing else to do, I would be, like, 'Three bean-and-cheese burritos and give me some nachos with extra cheese sauce!' I would so kill that s***. But what I've learned is that just 'cause you can chew it and swallow it and poop it out doesn't mean it's food."
On her love for fitness:
"I love the science of the body, and I love to give information and see people utilize it in their own lives. I want women to know that it's never too late to start paying attention to their bodies. Until I started training at 27 for 'Charlie's Angels,' I didn't. I literally quit smoking a month before. I was, like, 'Ugh, I've got to do this training. I guess I should stop smoking now.' We trained eight hours a day, seven days a week for three months, and I was dying. Crying every day. On Monday, I wondered how am I ever going to do this, but soon enough, I had a six-pack. At 27, I wasn't consciously saying, 'I'm doing this for when I'm 41.' But at 41, I'm saying, 'Thank God I started at 27.'"
On her body:
"I'm definitely not in the best shape of my life. I had a couple of hernias fixed last summer, so I took six weeks off to rest and heal?and see what happens if I have a liter of olive oil a week. It was sort of an experiment [Laughs]. If I wasn't cooking, I was eating. It was amazing! I put weight on and loved it. But as soon as I went back to my normal workout and eating, I dropped it. I was, like, Where's my booty?"
On her workout routine:
"At the gym, I'll do intervals on the treadmill for 5 minutes, jamming out for 30 seconds at 10 or 12 mph, then resting for 15 seconds. Then I do lunges with rows, squats, and pushing and pulling cables. I use 10- to 15-pound weights if I want to build muscle or 5- to 8-pound weights if I'm maintaining; you have to figure out your own needs and fitness level. I do two sets of 15 reps on everything. The whole thing takes me 20 to 30 minutes."

Just yesterday I was asking if anyone thought it was weird that we haven?t seen Sean Penn and Charlize Theron out together since Golden Globes Weekend. And here we are. Sean, Charlize and Jackson Theron were spotted at Whole Foods yesterday. They look like a family, don?t they? Even with the stories about hookers and modelizing, Sean does seem to embrace the family lifestyle for years at a time. There was a period ? when he was married to Robin Wright and their kids were small ? where he was a suburban dad. He moved his family out of the trendy LA neighborhoods to quiet suburbia, and that?s what these photos remind me of.
So, I guess Charlize and Sean are really dating. It wasn?t just a revenge hookup to get back at Robin and her young fianc. And Charlize is letting Sean spend time with Jackson too. We can talk about Sean and how he?s a sometimes violent jackass, but the truth is? I bet he?s good with kids. We?ll see.
I have no real comment on the photo where Charlize is grabbing his butt. Ugh. I mean? I guess their sex might be hot? But all I can think about now is Sean?s baked-ham-looking O-Face. *shivers*

Here are some photos of Naomi Campbell at the 2014 National Television Awards in London last night. I?m assuming she was there because of The Face, because this event was a bit? downmarket for Naomi. She was by far the biggest name there, but that?s probably because I have no idea who many of the British TV stars are (who is Abbey Clancy and why do people care about her?!).
Anyway, Naomi is wearing Michael Kors. Thoughts? I actually thought this was Versace and I was going to praise it because it seemed like old-school Donatella. So I?m surprised it came from Kors. I actually like it, and I rarely like Kors stuff. The wig and the makeup are another story though. That wig looks so damn cheap! It looks like she snatched it from a Naomi drag queen right before the red carpet. And the makeup? well. I?ve been thinking for a while that Naomi has been messing with her face (Botox and fillers would be my guess), so it?s possible the sloppy makeup is in reality just wonky cosmetic work.
By the way, before Naomi even came to this event, she caused a controversy. Apparently, she refused to use the peasant dressing rooms!
Naomi Campbell has reportedly requested a “more luxurious” dressing room for The National Television Awards. The supermodel has been called in to present the Talent Show prize at the UK’s National Television Awards, which take place in London tonight.
While most stars are happy to spend time between appearances at one of the rooms in the O2 Arena, Naomi is reportedly after something a little fancier. According to British newspaper The Sun, the 43-year-old’s team are hoping a luxe hotel in the area will be able to accommodate her.
“What a palaver. Apparently Naomi wants something more luxurious so the team have had to scrabble around trying to find something suitable nearby,” a source told the publication. “It’s a surprise because the O2 dressing rooms are used to handling big stars with big demands. Jay Z’s been a few times as has Rihanna. They hardly slum it. But it seems they’re not up to scratch for a supermodel. Hopefully a five-star hotel nearby has some availability. We’re glad she’s coming as she adds some A-list glam to proceedings, but it has not been the easiest thing in the world to organise.”
An insider close to the model added that Naomi wanted to stay and watch the show, apparently asking for ten seats to be put aside for her entourage.

It?s like the event organizers are just BEGGING to be beaten with a bejeweled phone. Apparently, Naomi threatened to not even show up if her crazy demands were not completely adhered to. Which brings me to a very important question: does anyone really give a crap about Naomi Campbell this much? I mean, I can see inviting her and making some special accommodations for her, but after making a list of crazy demands and threatening to walk, why not call her bluff? Why not say, ?Ha, okay, we can?t do that. See ya.? While she?s still a ?supermodel? it?s not like she?s the most important person in the world.

I think Tori is wearing her wedding ring in these photos, but that could be an illusion created by the handle of Finn’s sippy cup. Maybe Dean McDermott is at home with their other three children, but god only knows what’s going on with him.
The last time we talked about Tori, she was smiling with Dean outside a building that houses couple’s therapy offices. That was the moment when I realized that Tori might have cooked up the whole cheating scandal for publicity. At this point, I don’t know whether Dean really cheated with a Canadian random. He and Tori seem to be sticking with the sex-addict story though because Life & Style has exclusive photos of Dean exiting a rehab center. Here’s the latest in this grand soap opera:
Life & Style Weekly has obtained the exclusive first photos of Tori Spelling?s husband, Dean McDermott, exiting a rehab facility in LA.
Dean, 47, in a white long-sleeved shirt and jeans, was spotted leaving the property on Jan. 18 and getting into a gray minivan along with a driver. “Dean wore sunglasses and was sitting in the passenger seat of the car,” an eyewitness tells Life & Style. “He did not appear at all happy. He looked like he hadn’t shaved for a week and had a very sad look on his face as he was driven away.”
This development comes just weeks after the father of four was accused of cheating on his wife of almost eight years with a 28-year-old Canadian woman.
A source tells Life & Style that Tori gave him an ultimatum. “She’s told Dean she’ll leave him if he doesn’t get help for sex addiction,” the insider says. “She’s finally laying down the law because she knows things can’t continue like this.”
Tori, 40, meanwhile, has been seen out and about near the couple’s Encino, Calif., home, running errands and spending time with their four young children, Finn, Hattie, Liam and Stella.
The actress has yet to publicly speak about the issue.

In other words, Dean is doing what it takes to keep his marriage together. I guess? Tori is all about the happy-family illusion, and I guess rehab for sex addiction fits in with the “cheating husband realized the error of his ways and goes running back to his beloved wife” narrative. Maybe I’m being too judgy here. I just feel like Tori’s used up a lot of goodwill with her constantly changing stories over the past several months. We shall see what happens next.

The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences has stated the 39-year-old is one of four producers who will win the iconic trophy, provided the Martin Scorsese film wins Best Picture.
This nomination marks Leo?s fifth, which is quite the feat, given that Martin Scorsese himself has obtained twelve throughout his career!
Also up for nominations are fellow producers of the film, Joey McFarland and Emma Tillinger Koskoff and Scorsese himself. We?ll see who wins it all on March 2nd!

Prepping for a springtime release, the new trailer for "Better Living Through Chemistry" hit the web on Wednesday (January 22).
In the upcoming dramedy, a pharmacist's humdrum life is turned upside down when he starts an affair with a trophy wife customer.
Written and directed by Geoff Moore and David Posamentier, the film stars Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, Michelle Monaghan, Jane Fonda, and Ben Schwartz.
Check out the trailer below, in which Sam's character gets in a whole mess of trouble. "Better Living Through Chemistry" is scheduled to hit theaters on March 14th.
