Pushing worldwide success for her new music, Katy Perry promoted Prism at German radio 1Live in Cologne, Germany on Friday (November 15).
Appropriately, the "Roar" singer wore an iridescent jacket and matching short skirt as she smiled brightly for photos.
In the December issue of Marie Claire Australia, the 29-year-old pop star talks about the inspiration for her latest record.
Begun around the time of her divorce from Russell Brand, Katy shares, "I started Prism in November 2012 and I was in a darker place in my life. There was a song called 'By the Grace of God' which paints a picture about how low I was? feeling like I wasn?t enough, it wasn?t possible for me to be loved."
As for how she recovered, Ms. Perry says, "From a lot of searching for help? through a lot of changing how I think about myself. On this record, there?s a song called 'Love Me' which is a song about loving yourself first in order to be loved properly."

We all know that it's time to start thinking about our loved ones' holiday wishes, and Gwyneth Paltrow knows this. The "Iron Man III" starlet just released her children?s Christmas lists on Thursday?s (November 14) GOOP holiday gift guide.
The 41-year-old's daughter Apple Martin stated that she wanted ?an iPod 5, a Lifeproof case for my iPod5 so I can take it underwater and a Kipling rolley backpack.?
The blonde beauty's son, Moses Martin wants an acoustic guitar, the video game, "Skylanders Swap Force," and a hamster. He also wrote about an arts and crafts set, writing, ?Pretty much everyone wants a rainbow loom."
"I am overwhelmed and a disaster," Gwyneth wrote on the guide, apparently letting her Christmas game slide. For her own list, she stated that she "included some old favorites and some new finds, all of which will make Father Christmas proud."

Starting the weekend a little early with some exercising, Olivia Wilde stepped out in West Hollywood on Friday (November 15).
The "Rush" star covered her baby bump in an all-blue ensemble as she made her way to Harmony Studios for a Pilates class.
Recently Miss Wilde spoke to E! News about how she's planning to have a laid back approach to find the perfect dress for her wedding day.
"I just trust my eye," the 29-year-old actress who's engaged to actor Jason Sudeikis stated about her wedding preparations.
Meanwhile, Miss Wilde stated she continues to go with her usual outfit despite the bump. "I live in Helmut Lang blazers. I love my Acne boots and simple Jen Meyer jewelry - and of course, my vintage engagement ring."

Jumping back into the spotlight, Jamie Lynn Spears, who has kept a low profile since the birth of her daughter Maddie in 2008, is going to be featured on big sister Britney Spears' latest studio album.
In an interview with E! News, the 22-year-old reflected on her pregnancy, saying, "One day, me and my friend were riding around in my mom's little convertible and I had not been feeling well. I thought it was just stress with work and all kinds of different things. My friend was like, 'Why don't you just take a test?' I was like, 'OK, I will.'
"We were filling up with gas, so I went in the gas station and took the test and it was positive," she said. "So that is the glamorous way that I found out I was going to have my little nugget!"
"I thought my next step was moving in the next part of my career," Jamie said, unsure about the prospect of becoming a mother at age 17. "That's what I felt I was going to be doing and this made no sense. This made no sense and I didn't understand it and I was young."
The former "Zoey 101" starlet then revealed the musical nature of her rumored "second baby," saying, "I think that now it's like real. It's like being like 'Oh my gosh! I'm going to have a baby.' It's seeing it all here and it's real. It's like, 'Oh my goodness, I'm really gonna do this.' And it is; it is. It's like my second baby."

Showing her dedication to staying in shape, Sienna Miller went for a run through a park in London, England on Wednesday (November 13).
The ?G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra? starlet was joined by a personal trainer and donned an odd combination of traditional running clothes and a bulky parka as she put herself through the paces.
With the autumn season in full swing, perhaps Ms. Miller is having trouble adapting to the falling temperatures.
