| Milla Jovovich's diet is quite sensible, she calls keto 'hard to maintain' | Added 5 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I follow Milla Jovovich on Instagram and she often livestreams her crazy hard workouts. I haven?t watched more than a few seconds of them, it feels voyeuristic to me, but she clearly works really hard. It turns out that she?s training for an action movie coming out next year called Monster Hunter. Shes also in Hellboy, which just came out last week. She told People Magazine about her diet and fitness plan and I wanted to talk about it because its one of the most sensible and non-faddish diets Ive heard. We so often talk about celebrities cutting out entire food groups, fasting for large portions of the day and subsisting on very little food. Milla just kicks butt at the gym every day, eats mostly vegetables and used portion control. She also has some reasonable things to say about keto.
Milla Jovovich tells PEOPLE Now that she?s found the keto diet ?can be hard to sustain.?
?You have to kind of be an expert in nutrition to really know that you?re doing it correctly,? she adds
?I changed my lifestyle over a year ago to prepare for a new action film I?m doing called Monster Hunter that?s coming out in 2020. To be honest, I just found that making sure that 80 percent of my diet during the week is vegetable-based and everything else is just smaller portions, helped my skin, helped my energy levels, just helped everything,? she says.
Additionally, Jovovich makes time to work out ?every day,? which helps boost her energy levels.
?Mentally I just feel so much better,? she shares. ?I used to get overwhelmed and deal with depression, I just feel so much sharper.?
?I can truly stand behind it, and that?s why I started posting,? she says. ?This isn?t just something I?ve done for a few weeks and I?m like, ?Hey it works.? I?ve done it for a year and I see that it works.?
As for cutting out entire food groups, the actress takes a more realistic approach.
?I eat everything,? she says. ?I think we all need to eat a little bit of everything, I just keep the processed foods to the weekend.?
As for the other changes she?s made that have helped alleviate her depression, Jovovich shares that she?s learned to ?do things that made me feel positive? ? which includes focusing on her daughters: Ever Gabo, 11, and Dashiel Edan, 4.
?For me, gardening was something that I started doing before the fitness stuff. I?ve always loved drawing, I?ve always loved artwork, design, music. But of course being a mom is my no. one hobby,? she says. ?I love it. It?s so much fun. I love being there for the girls.?
?It was just trying to do things that made me feel positive, like growing things. Having hobbies, having interests, it?s really important to not just sit around and be in your own head. You got to be curious and interested in the world around you, and I think that helps,? she adds.
[From People]
I like how she says she eats everything but in small amounts if its bad for her, like processed food. This is nice to hear from a celebrity eating reasonably instead of depriving themselves across the board. She also really tries to focus on things that bring her joy and help her be creative, like music, art and gardening. I found this interview kind of inspiring to be honest. Shes so enthusiastic about making these changes and she gave a lot of good advice about doing what makes you happy. I need to listen to more music and make sure Im getting in a workout every day. I love working out but have been recovering from a medical procedure and have only recently been able to start exercising again. It really makes a difference in my mood and how I feel about myself as she mentioned.
Millas Hellboy outfits have been kind of crazy though.

Another amazing workout with the awesome @theetiffmarie this morning! See you all tomorrow at 9am LA time! I changed my lifestyle in January of last year. I started gardening. Growing my own vegetables made me more aware of how I was treating my body and I also needed to prepare for a new action movie, so I started working out 5 days a week. The incredible changes I started seeing in myself became so obvious to me a few weeks into my new program. And not just to me, but to people around me! First my family commented on how much more pleasant I was in the morning?. Then people would compliment my skin, saying I was ?glowing?. I hadn?t had those remarks since I was pregnant, so I knew that what I was doing was working. Most importantly, as someone who is battled depression for most of my life, I noticed how much energy I had and how great my moods were. I stopped getting overwhelmed as easily. I felt like I could tackle anything the day had in store and I looked forward to new challenges. After a year of these positive benefits, I wanted to share my experience with you all, because I truly believe that to live life to your fullest, you need to be active. So I hope you guys join me in my workouts. I hope knowing that I?m doing this on weekdays motivates you and you feel like you have a ?Gym Buddy? who is doing it too! I really want to share my new found and hard won joy! So let?s get it people! See you tomorrow!!??? #keepmoving #ladiary

I always liked Milla Jovovich as a model but I didn?t know much about her beyond that. I know she got into acting but I haven?t seen her in much. But I just learned is she?s a musician who?s been writing songs since she was 15 and is pretty well respected in the music community. Color me impressed. Milla and her Resident Evil director, Paul W. S. Anderson will celebrate their 10-year wedding anniversary this year. The couple has two kids, daughters Ever, 11, and Dashiel, three. Milla knows that their lifestyle could negatively affect her daughters attitude. To prevent this, Milla checks them whenever they start sounding ?entitled.?
Keeping it real! Milla Jovovich knows that her two children live a ?privileged life,? but the actress opened up about how she keeps her 11-year-old daughter, Ever, from becoming ?entitled.?
?It?s about having an open conversation every time,? the model told Us Weekly exclusively at the amFAR Gala New York on Wednesday, February 6. ?Every time that I see my daughter getting a bit complacent, feeling a little entitled and ? treating people in a way that?s not totally respectful, I call and say, ?Hey let?s stop and talk.??
She added: ?We have these pep talks. I tell her about what?s going on in the world, I tell her how lucky she is and to remember what?s important in this life. To remember to appreciate people, to be curious about people. To really be interested in things, because, without that, you?re not going to get anywhere in life if you?re in your own head. You have to look outside.?
That?s one of the reasons why the Resident Evil star is all about ?supporting great causes,? such as the Dian Fossey Fund for gorilla protection.
?[Ever] knows how important it is for me to give back to society, to give back to the world especially because we?re living a privileged life,? Jovovich told Us. ?We?re living in this incredible country, America, where we have everything at our fingertips. So many people don?t. It?s so important to me to make her understand how lucky she is, and that it?s our job to give back and not just take.?
[From Us Weekly]
I think, ?I call and say, ?Hey let?s stop and talk,?? is a typo, because calling your kid to schedule a meeting to discuss not being privileged sounds *awfully* privileged. Milla?s message is solid and maybe she means she calls her out. I?m all for all parents reminding their children they are no better than anyone else. Making kids aware of the world, across all economic strata, is a good way to do it. I appreciate Milla acknowledging that her kids could be more susceptible to entitlement. There is nothing wrong with raising your kid rich, I know I?d love the opportunity. But understanding what other people go through is important and I respect Milla for passing that on to her kids. I don?t think you need to be privileged to share this lesson either, giving back helps everyone and if you can afford the time, it?s a great experience for kids.
And not to be too superficial but how genetically blessed is Ever?! Look at those eyes!

| Milla Jovovich in Elie Saab at the Cannes amFAR gala: tinfoil fug or fab? | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Apologies to the fug girls for stealing their line but I am torn on this silver Elie Saab which Milla Jovovich wore to the amFAR gala last night. My first impression is to find it incredible, bold and statement-y. There’s a Daisy Buchanon vibe to this dress, like it’s a throwback to a flapper gown only with the shiniest sequins modern technology can offer. (I have no idea if this is true.) On closer look it resembles a nightgown though. Maybe I would like it more without the two wide stripes with circles running through them at the bottom, those seem like overkill. Her earrings are perfect though and I love how they mimic the pattern in the gown.
Here’s Toni Garrn, also in Elie Saab, in a short silver and white long sleeve number. The dress is so flattering and cute but there’s something off about the pattern, like she’s molting. The silver bits look like wadded up tinfoil. Her styling is understated and lovely.
Paris Hilton wore a silver, white and cream Yousef Al-Jasmi full length gown which featured large mirrored sequins, sequin netting on the arms and lines of rhinestones crisscrossing the dress. This is too busy and there’s too much bling. It’s a five year-old’s idea of a pretty dress. Perfect for Paris.
Look at her silver and gold stripper heels.
Alessandra Ambrosio was in this black sequin Redemption gown which left little to the imagination. In theory it’s a decent gown, it’s slinky and I like the large stripes of black sequins with little dotted sequins next to them. However there’s not enough fabric on top and there’s this magic happening where you think you can see through to her boobs but you can’t quite. At least she’s wearing large underwear. The side slit is overkill. Why are these back in such a big way?
Adriana Lima was on the opposite end of the coverage spectrum in a full length Alexander Terekhov black gown. I’m not the best at identifying fabrics but this looks like silk blend to me. I googled “Alexander Terekhov silk gown” to see and I found a world of fug fashions by this designer. Something nice: the open v-back adds some detail, she’s got on beautiful diamond earrings and her styling is well done.

It?s been a crazy exciting week for Milla Jovovich and Paul WS Anderson as they welcomed their second child on Wednesday (April 1) and named her Dashiel Edan Jovovich-Anderson.
Later in the day, the ?Resident Evil? actress uploaded a photo of her little bundle of joy, adding the caption, ?We are so proud to announce the birth of our second daughter Ms. Dashiel Edan Jovovich-Anderson today!!! She is 7lbs. 10 oz. and 20 inches long! We love you Dash!?
Milla?s rep also reported, ?Milla, her husband Paul and big sister Ever are overjoyed to welcome Dashiel Edan into their family and are all spending some quality bonding time together. Both mama and baby are doing great.?

| Pregnant Milla Jovovich: 'I?m really proud of myself for not gaining' more weight | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Back in October, Milla Jovovich announced a second pregnancy. This news tossed a wrench into Resident Evil 6 production, which was rescheduled. I kind of love that they had to reschedule — it shows how indispensible Milla is to the franchise. Not that these are good movies. They’re spectacularly awful, but people love them a lot. The big attraction is Milla, the former wild child who settled down with Paul W.S. Anderson to make cheeseball zombie movies. She kicks some serious zombie tush though!
Milla is one of those rare celebrities who regularly updates her Facebook page. She’s active on other social media platforms but uses them mainly to point towards Facebook. She treats the site like a public diary (within reason). Here’s her latest pregnancy update as she conquers the third trimester:
So the countdown to our new baby begins, we only have ten weeks to go! It’s so exciting, but at the same time daunting! lol! I’m hoping our experience with our first, Ever Gabo, has us prepared.
I’ve gained all the baby weight I need to have a healthy pregnancy -30 lbs.- and as of last week, I’ve started having to be really careful about my lifestyle so I don’t continue to gain unnecessarily; which is not healthy for me OR my newborn.
I’m really proud of myself for not gaining the same amount of weight that I did with our first child (75 lbs.) because I have to be ready to start filming “Resident Evil- The Final Chapter” in August of this year and I will also be nursing an infant simultaneously (get ready wardrobe department for Alice’s new “easy mama access” costume;)) so I don’t want to be on any extreme diets to get ready to go back to “action hero” mode!
Saying that, I’ve started taking long walks to keep my metabolism in high gear and working on a game plan with my trainer, Harley Pasternak to come up with the ideal daily diet for me.
Just so you understand, when I say diet, I’m not talking about losing weight, I’m talking about what I’m eating on a daily basis. I don’t want to lose ANY weight right now, because at 170 lbs. I’m at a perfect pregnancy weight for my height and build. I want to maintain where I?m at; my ideal being 175 all together (with a total of 35 lbs. gained over all through out my pregnancy).
I also want to be the healthiest I can to ensure the easiest delivery and no stress post birth when I have to establish a nursing routine, as well as, slowly getting myself and my family ready to move halfway across the world to make a big action movie with a lot of stunt work! Phew!
[From Facebook]
Moving halfway across the world will be rough once the second baby arrives. I’m sure Resident Evil producers will be watching Milla to make sure she loses the baby weight on time, which sucks. She’s an actress though and knows that it comes with the territory. Milla already has a plan in place, and Harley Pasternak is a respectable trainer. He’s not into those faddish fitness trends or starvation diets.
I look forward to seeing what Milla names her second baby. Her daughter’s name is Ever Gabo, which I’m not crazy about. “Ever” seems like it’s short for something and begs for another syllable. Milla explained that the name (often bestowed upon Scottish boys) refers to Paul’s Celtic roots.

| Stork Alert: Milla Jovovich Announces Baby Girl on the Way! | Added 10 years ago | Source: Celebrity Gossip |

She?s been keeping the gender of her soon-to-be-born child a secret for awhile now, and finally Milla Jovovich has revealed she?s pregnant with a sister for her daughter Ever Gabo.
During the amfAR Inspiration Gala, the ?Zoolander? actress proclaimed, ?We?re actually having a girl so she?s so excited.?
Jovovich also mentioned that she was initially concerned that Ever wouldn?t like having a little boy running around the house.
?I was actually worried if we had a boy, what would happen to him. I was like, ?I wonder how long he will survive in our house with that little girl pushing him and sticking her foot out and tripping him!'?
And as it turns out, Ever has already begun selecting names for the bun in Milla?s oven- ?One of them was Toilet Bowl. Which we thought was there on our list. We?re like, ?That?s a really good one.? Bicycle Lane was another one.?
?Actually, the name that we chose, she picked. I?m still open to suggestions, but we?ve been calling her one particular thing recently.?

I’ve been following Milla Jovovich’s career ever since she graced the cover of Seventeen at age 12. She was an incredibly successful model and appeared in some awful movies (although many people have a soft spot for Dazed & Confused) before breaking through with The Fifth Element. In her personal life, Milla used to be pretty wild. She married for the first time at age 16 and went through a second marriage a few years later. She settled down and eventually met her “forever” husband in Paul W.S. Anderson in 2002. They were making the first Resident Evil movie, and it was love at first zombie. Several RE films later, they are also parents to a 6-year-old daughter named Ever.
Milla’s been very broody lately. It was only last week that Milla told Hello! (via People), “I want to have a baby and that is my number one priority. If I don?t do it now, it will get more difficult the older I get.” Milla is 38 years old now, and she doesn’t have to wait any longer to be pregnant. She’s made a very special announcement on her Facebook page:
Happy Monday everyone! This was originally going to be a post to tell you how excited I am about flying to Cape Town to begin working on Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. But … My husband Paul and I just discovered that we are expecting another baby!!!
So after a lot of discussion, we thought it would be in everyone?s best interest to wait till the baby is born before we set out to try and tackle an RE movie. Between the stunt work and what will become my ever-expanding belly, we didn?t think pregnancy and zombie killing are the best combo! Lol! I imagine the only thing I?ll be killing in the near future is an endless supply of cupcakes. Yikes …
In all seriousness though, we want to make the best movie possible and that would be extremely difficult, to say the least, in my present condition.
I would like to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has been working so hard on the movie in South Africa already and we are so looking forward to working with you all next summer. And when we arrive, it will hopefully be with the newest member of our little family! YAY!
Thanks so much for understanding! All the best! -m
[From Milla Jovovich on Facebook]
LOL at Milla’s intention of making “the best movie possible” to top off the Resident Evil series. The first movie wasn’t bad, but the rest of the movies are awful! I adore Milla, but the RE films are unwatchable to me. I get that they’re based upon video games, which provides a built-in fanbase to keep the franchise going. The films are not only very lucrative, but they must be a labor of love for Milla and Paul.
The pregnancy news is amazing, especially with the timing of Milla’s recent declaration to get pregnant. Girlfriend wasn’t kidding around. Congrats to Milla and Paul!
Here are photos of Milla last week at LAX. She’s not showing yet, right?

As a gaggle of celebs are migrating from London after the BAFTA Awards, Milla Jovovich stayed behind to shoot "Survivor" at Heathrow Airport on Monday (February 17).
The "Fifth Element" star may have turned heads not only for her beauty, but because she sported some makeup that made her face look like it had been badly cut up.
In the upcoming thriller, a Foreign Service Officer in London tries to prevent a terrorist attack set in New York, but is forced to go on the run after she is framed for crimes she didn't commit.
Joining Milla in the star-studded cast are Emma Thompson, Pierce Brosnan, Dylan McDermott, and Angela Bassett.
