It feels like Josh Duhamel and Fergie split years and years ago, but their split only happened in 2017. Reportedly, their divorce was pretty amicable, and there doesn?t seem to be any drama over custody of their son Axl. Fergie and Josh have joint custody, and to his credit (?), Josh seems like a good dad who prioritizes his son. I think we knew during Josh and Fergie?s marriage that he wanted more kids and she really didn?t. Well, as it turns out, maybe that was a factor in their split, and now his big priority is finding some young, fertile woman to have his babies:

?I?m not 30 years old anymore,? he told Dax Sherpard on his ?Armchair Expert? podcast on Thursday. ?I?m 45. I want to have more kids in the next few yearsSo it?s more about finding someone young enough to have kids. It?s not as if I?m out there trying to just f?k anything. That?s not who I am. I?m trying to find a girl that I can be with and have a family with.?
Duhamel split from the ?Double Duchess? singer, 43, in 2017 after 13 years together. They welcomed their son, Axl Jack, 5, during their eight-year marriage.
The ?Transformers? star was most recently linked to Eiza Gonzales, 28, but they broke up in July.
?Fergie and I had a great relationship,? he said on the podcast. ?I love that girl and I always will. Unfortunately, we didn?t work. But I will always have her back and she is the mother of my baby.?

Is this gross or is it just honest? If a woman said ?my priority is finding a young mate who will have babies with me,? wouldn?t we applaud her for knowing her own mind and making her own priorities? But yeah, it comes across as slightly skeevy and gross when it?s a 45-year-old man talking about finding someone ?young enough? to have kids with him. What?s also gross is that I bet a lot of women hear that and go ?aw, I?ll have your babies!? Ugh.

When Fergie and Josh Duhamel first got together about about a dozen years ago, I thought ?this won?t even last a year.? At the time, she seemed like the messy one, and he seemed like he was more of a straight-arrow type. Years later, and I now think they?re both pretty messy and I?m astonished that they were able to hold it together for eight years of marriage. Fergie and Josh announced their split on Thursday, and please don?t take this as a signal that love is dead. If anything, this shows you that love (and looking the other way at your partner?s sketchy extracurriculars) can actually win out for eight years, against all the odds.
After eight years of marriage, Fergie and Josh Duhamel are going their separate ways, they confirm to PEOPLE exclusively.
?With absolute love and respect we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year,? the couple said in a joint statement. ?To give our family the best opportunity to adjust, we wanted to keep this a private matter before sharing it with the public. We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family.?
The couple ? who share a 4-year-old son, Axl ? have been honest about the joys and challenges of parenting together.
?I have no idea what I?m doing half the time,? Duhamel previously told Ellen DeGeneres. ?She?s definitely more evolved than I am, and more patient,? he said. ?But I feel like I?m much more ? you know, having a kid when I was 40 years old is much different than having one at 22, so I?m a little bit more mature than I was then.?
While Fergie, 42, and Duhamel, 44, haven?t been spotted in public recently, they looked like a happy family while celebrating their eighth wedding anniversary in January.

When I was looking for photos of them as a family, I found some from June of this year, with Fergie and Josh taking Axl to church in LA. So? whatever happened between them, they really aren?t at each other?s throats. And whatever happened, they?re keeping it out of the press right now, which is good. Seriously, I still can?t believe they got together and managed to stay together for this length of time. It?s remarkable.

These are some photos from The Casamigos Halloween party, held by Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber Saturday night in Beverly Hills. Bedhead has more photos from the party here. My favorite couple of the night were Josh Duhamel and Fergie, who cleverly dressed as Karl Lagerfeld and his beloved Siamese, Choupette. This is an inspired costume choice and it makes me wonder how they came up with it. They accessorized with plenty of Chanel, of course. Brilliant!
My second favorite couple was probably Channing Tatum and his wife, Jenna Dewan, who went as a traditional Cat in The Hat and a sexy Cat in The Hat. A sexy Cat in The Hat seems rather boring to me, but at least it’s inoffensive.
Speaking of offensive, here’s Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna. Harry is dressed as the late Sid Vicious from the Sex Pistols and Lisa is his combative heroin addict girlfriend, Nancy. Harry stupidly chose to replicate Sid’s red Nazi swastika t-shirt. He would have been more recognizable with a “God Save The Queen” shirt or something that said Sex Pistols on it, but he wanted to be controversial. Note that the symbol on Harry’s shirt isn’t a true Nazi swastika, it’s not rotated to the side like that version, it’s closer to the original benign Hindu and Buddhist symbol, but it’s styled to look like the Nazi one. This is easily recognized as some kind of twisted homage to the Nazi symbol while being oriented in a way that doesn’t make it an actual Nazi symbol. It’s obnoxious and Hamlin should have known better.
The next day Hamlin went out in a red shirt with a peace symbol on it.
Let’s move on Elisabetta Canalis in a Che Guevara costume, complete with thigh high boots and a machine gun. If you’re going to dress as a famous male, commit to it. Don’t do “sexy,” you’re supposed to be a guy! Wear a beard, wear loose dirty clothes and actually look like the person. That was not the objective here obviously. Canalis had a baby four weeks ago and she wants us to know how hot she looks now. It’s weird to me that Clooney’s ex was invited to this party though. She must still be friendly with Crawford and Gerber. Canalis seems more Crawford’s speed than Amal, you know what I mean? (Update: While The Daily Mail reports that Canalis is dressed as Che Guevara, she’s possibly wearing a Patty Hearst costume, which would make more sense.)

Getting his grub on to fuel up for the day, Josh Duhamel stopped at Early World restaurant in Brentwood, California on Wednesday (January 22).
The "Safe Haven" star looked handsome in a gray Lakers T-shirt, ripped jeans, and tan boots as he carried his ballcap outside.
Earlier this week, the 41-year-old actor was in Park City, Utah where the Sundance Film Festival is taking place.
Taking time out to promote pet adoption, Josh teamed with Pedigree for the "See What Good Food Can Do" campaign. Speaking about his own experience, he shared, "I actually bought my first dog, and I got some flack from friends over it. So when it came time to find her a friend, we went to the shelter. It was scary at first because I didn't know what rescuing would involve and whether I was responsible enough to take care of one... But the amount of work you put in is nothing compared to what you get back."

Dressed for the sun and fresh air, the ?Life As We Know It? star sported a fisherman?s cap, a white polo and teal shorts. He traded between walking and riding in the golf cart, looking macho with his bag of clubs.

The "Safe Haven" star wore a navy blue hoodie, matching cap, and warm-up pants as he smiled and gave a peace sign to awaiting paparazzi.
On Thursday, the 40-year-old actor and his wife Fergie welcomed Axl Jack Duhamel, weighing in at 7 lbs., 10 oz.
Thanking his Twitter fans for their support, Josh tweeted on Tuesday, "Sorry about the absence. I truly appreciate all of your well wishes. All is good! In fact, never better. :) Much love, JD."

Was Fergie all up in our faces with her pregnancy? I can?t really tell. Like, she?s a big enough star where she can go by one name and every media outlet reported on her baby shower, but still? it felt like we weren?t being inundated with endless ?I?m having a great pregnancy!? interviews. Anyway, Fergie and Josh Duhamel checked into an LA hospital yesterday, reportedly to have a scheduled C-section. And now they?re parents to son Axl. Axl Jack Duhamel. Ugh. I can?t.
Welcome to the world, baby Duhamel! Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie gave birth to her first child with husband Josh Duhamel, a baby boy, on Thursday, Aug. 29, in L.A., a rep confirms to Us Weekly. Axl Jack Duhamel weighed in at 7 pounds, 10 ounces, the rep tells Us.
Married since 2009, the couple have been eagerly anticipating their little bundle of joy’s birth for weeks. At the Hollywood premiere of Duhamel’s new movie, Scenic Route, on Tuesday, Aug. 20, the 40-year-old actor said they were packed and ready to go to the hospital at a moment’s notice.
“We do have a bag ready but just not here,” he told Us. “So he’s going to have to wait. He’s going to have to wait until next week.”
The star also spoke recently about how well his wife had been handling her first pregnancy. “I’m mostly impressed with how gracefully…I mean she’s just been awesome throughout this whole thing,” he gushed on Aug. 15. “She’s taken really good care of herself, she’s happy, she’s in great spirits, she looks beautiful and I’m just really proud of her more than anything. And I’m really excited to meet this little dude. I can’t wait.”
That said, he’s not sure he’s entirely ready for how much his life is about to change. Appearing on The Tonight Show two nights before Fergie gave birth, the dad-to-be admitted to having some last-minute pre-baby jitters.
“You know, I gotta tell you, I’m a little bit nervous,” he told Jay Leno. “I thought that I was going to be good. I thought that I was ready for this, and I’m a little bit terrified. I’m excited and terrified, because I am responsible for this little thing. Forever.”

So, what are the thoughts on the name? You know what offends me? The laziness of the ?Jack?. It seems like every other celebrity names their son ?Jack?. I?m sure there are at least a dozen Jacks or Jacksons in every kindergarten class in LA right now. Now, is ?Axl? a proper alternative to the laziness of the Jack? I don?t know. I just flat-out hate it though. Axl Duhamel sounds like a car part. ?You see, honey, the Axl Duhamel is causing a problem with your brake line, it will cost $2000 to fix it.?
Anyway, congrats to the new parents and baby Axl.

He may have been promoting his new thriller "Scenic Route," but Josh Duhamel had baby on the brain during his appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Tuesday (August 27).
Though pressed to reveal he and Fergie's name for the little boy, the 40-year-old actor was tight-lipped and stayed true to his promise, though noted that the name was "pretty normal."
Earlier, the proud papa-to-be asked his Facebook fans what the worst name would be, sharing, "The one that actually won, being a big Vikings fan, somebody suggested Aaron Rodgers Duhamel and that actually won the grand prize." (Rodgers is a quarterback for the Vikings rival team, the Green Bay Packers).
Later in the interview, Josh talked about helping their dog Zoe adjust to life with the impending bundle of joy, contacting the Dog Whisperer himself, Caesar Milan, to help. In awe of his skills, Mr. Duhamel says, "It's really kind of amazing the powers that this man has. I mean I was actually becoming a little submissive myself." Check out his full interview below.

He?s about to become a father, so Josh Duhamel's emotions are running high these days. And it was obvious that he?s more empathetic than ever during his interview on ? Jimmy Kimmel Live? last night (August 13).
The ?Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen? hunk stopped by the El Capitan Theatre to promote his new movie ?Scenic Route? and ended up with a huge set of testicles.
Duhamel explained that after hearing that TLC would be doing a documentary on ?The Man with the 132-Pound Scrotum,? he had to find out what it would be like to carry such a massive man-sack himself. And of course there was hilarious video involved.
At the end of the clip, Josh shared, ?They say you can?t really know a man until you walk a mile in his scrotum. And after today I believe that- one hundred percent.?

The only reason I’m covering these photos is because I had the unfortunate experience of watching Safe Haven while on a plane earlier this week. I won’t give away any spoilers in case you’re a masochist, but I’ll try to explain. It was a typical romantic drama with very predictable thriller elements, (and some glaring plot holes) up until the end, when it had a real WTF ending. I guess you can blame author Nicholas Sparks for that, although why anyone would make that book into a movie a preserve that idiotic plot twist is beyond me.
There was one redeeming feature in the film, and that was Josh Duhamel. Not his acting at all, which was passable, but how easy he was on the eyes. I didn’t mind imagining that he was a hot widower looking to bone me. That was about it, except for Julianne Hough’s cute hair. I thought that style was adorable on her.
Here’s Josh out in Brentwood, California yesterday strolling around with his casual hotness. I’m digging his blue shoes, baggy grey jeans and his whole look here. I actually like his salt and pepper beard and think it adds some maturity to his very pretty face. This reminds me that Josh’s wife Fergie is pregnant. She’s not due until September or October, according to reports. These two have been open about the fact that they’ve wanted children for a while, and I’m excited for them. They’ve weathered some storms as a couple, and I bet they’re ready to be parents. I know from watching Safe Haven that Duhamel will make a really hot dad. That’s about all I took away from that movie.
