When did Prince William really begin to put some daylight between himself and the Middletons? I still think it goes back to Tatler?s ?Catherine the Great? cover story last year, when Kate wanted her PR to be that she?s ?the kingmaker? and William would be nothing without her buttons and keenness. Tatler made sure to include Rose Hanbury?s name and a lot of shadiness towards Kate?s family too and the whole thing turned into a massive PR debacle. In the year that followed, Kate continued to lean into this ?Kate the Keen Kingmaker, Top CEO, Lynchpin Guevara, Peacemaker Extraordinaire? storyline. And William doesn?t want it. That storyline doesn?t benefit him or his Future King plans. So he?s been disentangling himself and the Middletons are getting increasingly hysterical as they try to bring him back into the fold.
Why am I bringing this up? Apparently, Pippa Middleton and her husband, Terribly Moderately Wealthy James Matthews, were at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday night for the England v. Denmark Euro semifinal. The Daily Mail thoughtfully noted that Pippa and James were not invited to the VIP Box to watch the match with Pippa?s brother-in-law.
Pippa Middleton cut an elegant figure as she joined her husband James Matthews to cheer on England at Wembley last night. The mother-of-two, 37, opted not to wear a football shirt and instead chose a cream blouse and baby Pink culottes, which she paired with tan wedges, to watch the Three Lions triumph in the Euro 2020.
The Duchess of Cambridges sister arrived alongside her billionaire husband, 45, leaving children Arthur, two, and newborn Grace at home, and could be seen queuing alongside punters to enter the event.
Pippas brother-in-law the Duke also attended the match last night, although the couple did not join him in his box. Meanwhile Kate Middleton was unable to attend, having been forced to self-isolate after she came into contact with someone who tested positive despite being double-jabbed and testing negative for the virus herself.

Terribly Moderately Wealthy James is not a billionaire! Fake news! The whole reason I call him TMW James is because the Middleton Propaganda endlessly repeated that James was and is ?terribly rich.? When people finally began to assess James? actual worth, yes, he?s wealthy and he comes from a wealthy family but he?s not a billionaire!
As for Pippa and James not getting into the VIP Box. I understand the explanation/excuse, which is that the section is for VIPs, royals and politicians. That?s all true. But it still feels notable that Prince William and his sister-in-law were at the same event and they apparently didn?t sit together, see each other or speak to each other? Are the Middletons out in the cold?
Pippa Middleton and husband James kept a low-profile as they queued with punters to cheer on the Three Lions at Wembley https://t.co/vFcN5GLbZs

| Britney Spears's conservator asks for 50k/mo security, her dad tries to block it | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Earlier this week Britney Spearss court-appointed lawyer, Sam Ingham, requested to step down once Britney gets another attorney. After Ingham resigned, Britneys conservator of her person, Jodi Montgomery, requested that a guardian be appointed to help Britney select her own attorney, without further medical evaluation, as Britney requested. Britneys testimony in her case, made public two weeks ago, really blew the lid off whats been happening to her the past 13 years. Shes been controlled, emotionally and physically, to the point where she cant choose when to get her hair and nails done or which friends to see. Worse than that was the fact that she has an IUD in that she cant remove without permission. The Ronan Farrow New Yorker piece detailed more of the human rights abuses that Britney has endured.
Britneys conservator, Jodi Montgomery, is feeling the heat now that the public knows whats been happening to Britney. She says shes received death threats and she petitioned the court for $50k a month, from Britneys estate naturally, to hire private security. Britneys father Jamie, the only conservator left now that Bessemer Trust has stepped down, is trying to deny that request. It looks like theres a civil war happening among Britneys conservators. Deadline explains this latest development.
As the exits and resignations from Britney Spears? controversial conservatorship snowball, the focus has now turned to the bottom line of the singer?s more than $50 million fortune. Specifically, one day after temporary co-conservator Jodi Montgomery requested big bucks for increased security amidst death threats, the singer?s father and co-conservator wants to solidly put the kibosh on handing out any more cash.
?If the Court grants the Ex Parte Petition, it is anticipated that Ms. Montgomery will not be the only one requesting additional protection to be paid by the Conservatorship Estate,? the opposition from the elder Spears states (read it here). ?The nasty rhetoric and threatening emails, social media posts, and voicemail messages are pervasive and ongoing and impact multiple people involved in or

| Colin Farrell on LA: 'The homelessness here, it's pretty tough to see' | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Colin Farrell raised pulses a few weeks ago when he was photographed running shirtless in Los Angeles. But Wednesday, Colin tugged at our heartstrings when he got choked up about the homeless situation currently overwhelming LA. While speaking with guest host Wanda Sykes on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Colin switched from jovial to sincere to discuss the impact the pandemic has had on society. One terrible outcome is the surge in the unhoused population to which Colin referred. Yahoo Entertainment has his comments.
During what began as an upbeat and fun interview with Colin Farrell on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday, the actors mood suddenly changed after he brought up the current homelessness crisis in Los Angeles. Its a problem thats not hard to miss, especially in Hollywood, where the show is taped. Farrell was talking about the difficulty of the past year in terms of the pandemic and social unrest with fill-in host Wanda Sykes, before gesturing toward the outside of the building.
?The homelessness here. Its pretty tough to see,? Farrell said, beginning to tear up. ?Its pretty tough to see. I dont get it. Am I doing anything about it right now? No. Id like to think about doing something about it. I dont understand how so many people can be on the street.?
The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority said there were 66,436 people in Los Angeles County experiencing homelessness as of January 2020. But that number is expected to rise dramatically in a post-COVID world.
[From Yahoo!]
I feel Colin on this. Obviously, the pandemic is not solely to blame for the unhoused situation. I think it shined a brighter light on it, though. Many Angelenos are waking up to how many of our neighbors are forced to live on the streets. The complexities of the problem are far too vast for me to go into here. One of the few good things about that terribly done Netflix series, The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel, is it did explain how systematic LAs homelessness is. I?ve seen an increase in the last two years. Whether that is me being more aware or an actual increase, I don?t know. I do know that there are several homeless encampments near Union Station and none of them were visible during the Oscars. The city vehemently denies moving those populations to other areas, but they?ve lied about moving communities before. I also understand what Colin is saying about not doing anything personally. I donate time, clothing, money. I watch my ballot measures and attend council meetings regarding shelters and housing. But I know I?m not doing enough, not for the numbers we have and certainly not for what?s coming. Yahoo points out that Colin does work with the Homeless World Cup Foundation. Plus he helped a man in Toronto who needed essentials. It?s easy to get angry at rich people shedding tears for less fortunate, but at least he?s talking about it.
Colin?s emotions are on high for a couple of reasons these days. He just completed the Brisbane Marathon in June. More pressing, though, his son Jack, who has Angelman syndrome, turns 18 this year. Colin and Jack?s mother, Kim Bordenave, are filing for a conservatorship of Jack to continue to access his medical records and to make decisions for him. Since Jack is nonverbal, he cannot state who he would want as conservator, so the courts have to decide. The court date is set for Sept 27.
