Remember when years back Kylie Jenner said that she had invented wigs? That drove me nuts. It was in 2016 and its still something my subconscious associates with Kylie. We all know that Kylie is not a wig OG, but Dolly Parton definitely is. Huge beauty pageant style hair has always been a part of her look, and shes been wearing wigs for decades. She shared her six fashion rules with Vogue to promote her new book Behind the Seams, which include wearing high heels, avoiding trends, and embracing wigs. Dolly started wearing wigs when she figured out that teasing and bleaching her hair was damaging it. Her first hairstylist, Colleen Owens, introduced her to her first fall (a piece you blend with your own hair for more volume). Dolly then realized shed never have a bad hair day with wigs. The rest is history.

And it was through her that we found wigs. She was so creative. The wigs were wearing me?I wasn?t wearing the wig! But I loved all the intricate little things that Colleen used to do. It was always the bigger, the better. I started wearing wigs because I quickly realized that bleaching and teasing my hair every day would cause breakage and not look good. It was handy to have several looks that I could just choose from, and never have a bad hair day.?

Im very lucky to have naturally thick hair, but no matter how much I tease or spray it, and no matter how i style it, it does not hold volume at all near the crown of my head. So I would definitely turn to wigs if big floofy hair was the goal. Its great that Dollys always been open about wearing wigs because hair thinning and hair loss is something that happens to so many women. Thats not why Dolly started wearing them, but I think she shows people that its okay to use something artificial if it makes you feel better about yourself or like how you look. Sometimes people equate being authentic with being unvarnished or being au naturel. But its really just about wearing what you like and what makes you happy.

I cannot even imagine the stress of having to get dressed for a Women?s Wear Daily event. Those are some of the bitchiest fashion people in the world! In Jennifer Lawrence?s case, her choice was to keep it very simple and on-theme. J-Law attended the Women?s Wear Daily Honors in NYC on Tuesday, and she was there to present an award to Dior?s artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri. So Jen just wore a simple, black Dior dress.
While I get this look for the event, in general it?s kind of a snooze. The top would be better without forcing the off-the-shoulder thing. I can?t stand the ?unhemmed? look of the skirt either. This could have been a perfectly flattering black sweater and black pencil skirt, but instead Dior had to make it ?funky? for the ?kids.? Jen was styled well though I like the slicked-back hair/half-chignon and the statement earrings. The red lip works well too.
J-Law?s raunchy comedy No Hard Feelings just dropped on Netflix this week and it?s already a streaming hit. Hopefully, that film will have made enough money to justify a return to mid-budget comedies, whenever the SAG-AFTRA strike is over.

It has to be said, (the white) Michelle Williams was the perfect choice to narrate Britney Spears? memoir, The Woman in Me. When the news came out several weeks ago, Michelle made a statement about how she ?stands with Britney,? and you can tell that Michelle really means it. She is really great at book narration, specifically for Britney?s whole vibe. Basically, everyone believes that Michelle will win a Grammy for this. Note: Michelle doesn?t actually have an Oscar or a Tony, although she?s been nominated for both. She does have an Emmy, so she?s well on her way to EGOTing. It feels like people in the NFL world probably have an image of Taylor Swift as a sophisticated urbanite who only dated posh British guys. But from what I?ve seen and what I know about Taylor, I would imagine that she?s probably quite at home in Travis Kelce?s world, and I would also imagine that she enjoys the time she?s spent in Kansas City. Kansas City has a population of a half a million people, it?s urban (and suburban) and they have nice restaurants and cool neighborhoods and a thriving art/music community. She probably loves it there! Well, Taylor apparently enjoys Kansas City so much that she stayed there even after the Chiefs game on Sunday. Travis took Taylor out to an Argentinian steakhouse on Monday night.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce topped off their picture perfect weekend with a romantic dinner near his home in Kansas City. DailyMail.com spotted the hottest new couple arriving at sophisticated Argentine steakhouse Piropos in his Rolls Royce Monday night.
The restaurant usually closes at 9pm but stayed open late to accommodate the celebrity pair, who at one point had the entire restaurant to themselves for an intimate dinner for two.
After two hours inside, the pair were seen walking hand-in-hand to the car. Travis then gently placed his hand on the small of Taylors back and ever the gentleman, opened the car door and made sure the popstar was safely inside.
The Argentinian meal could be a sign that Taylor is gearing up for the international leg of her ERAs tour that takes her to Buenos Aires in just a few weeks.
They could choose from such delicacies as empanadas and Argentine style crab bisque or go all out on a peppercorn crusted filet for $50, a rib-eye for $52, or a lobster at market price. The restaurant is known for its grilled meats, seafood, fresh salads and vegetables with a touch of Spanish, Italian, French and other ethnic foods to enjoy the cosmopolitan nature of Argentinean dining.
The couple ended the night by diving back to his house followed by the singers security team and three Kansas City Police Department SUVs. Travis was dressed in the blue Celine track suit he had worn all day, while Taylor wore a short skirt, brown jacket and knee high boots accentuating her toned legs.

If you want to see the Piropos menu, go here. The food looks amazing, especially the steaks. Some people say you should never eat seafood when you?re that far inland, so I am side-eyeing some of their claims that the seafood is super-fresh. But the loaded baked potato looks amazing! I wonder what Taylor ordered. I wonder what Travis ordered too, because I bet he ordered like three dishes. The fact that he arranged for the restaurant to stay open late so they could be alone? wow. He?s really wooing her and treating her like a princess. I love it, as I?ve said, and I think he?s in it to win it. But I do wonder if Taylor is fighting the urge to sabotage this.
