You see, Reese is a good girl who would never use foul language such as “fuck”. Do you like pain? Mila Kunis likes pain. Appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres show, Mila Kunis, after talking about Ashton Kutcher getting a second fridge just for her pregnancy cravings (show-off), said that she’s going to have a natural birth.
?The hospital that I?m going to be laboring in does a midwife, you know, doula type of thing,? she says. ?I?m going to do it as all natural as I possibly can unless that there?s an emergency or something that should go wrong.?
She adds, ?I did this to myself, I might as well just do it right. I wanted this!?
She must hate her life. If I was a woman giving birth, I’d just tell them to inject me with every single drug and cut the baby out of me. That little bastard isn’t ruiningmy vagina.

If you haven?t been following the epic and neverending #LeAnnHealthCrisis, let me fill you in. Last week, LeAnn was tweeting about going to the doctor for? (wait for it)? a hangnail. She went to a doctor. For a hangnail. She had to have surgery. She had to be medicated. There was drama. As always. But then #TheGreatHangnailTragedyof2014 took an extraordinary turn: LeAnn?s hangnail surgery led to a staph infection, and she had to tweet about that too (including posting a photo of her finger with some white goop on it). Shots were given, complaints were aired on Twitter. But brave LeAnn managed to get through it all because Eddie sang John Legend?s ?All of Me? to her so she would feel better (even though poor Eddie was ?sick? too). Pray for them, please. Meanwhile, LeAnn has a new interview with The Las Vegas Review Journal. Some highlights:
Her personal life: ?Personal life is good. I?ve been home enjoying it a little more, which has been very nice. I love to cook and I love to be able to be home. Two weeks at a time is the right amount, a great amount of time, and I?ve had a lot of those from the beginning of this year. It?s been nice to be at home.?
Subtle shade for Brandi: ?Living in a blended family, there?s always going to be some turmoil, but the kids are fantastic. Eddie and I have a very quiet, normal life. Unless someone needs to use it to spin the press for some reason to try and mess with us.?
The tabloid stories: ?They still come and it?s funny because Eddie and I have really learned to laugh at it because the stories that people come up with are just ludicrous. Apparently the other day I underwent surgery for ab implants. I didn?t even know you could get ab implants. My publicist and I had to look it up to see if you can even actually do it. I don?t know how they come up with this stuff. Apparently, I saw a psychic recently to get pregnant. It?s such craziness that you have to just sit back and separate yourself from it and just laugh at it when you hear it because if people believe that, then let them have fun believing it.?
The VH1 reality show: ?It?s been super fun filming it. We both were really stand-offish on any kind of show like this. When we spoke to VH1 about it, they gave us an opportunity to have fun with it. You get a sense of our relationship, obviously. It was one of those things like, ?You think you know us, but you have no idea? kind of thing. ?So why don?t we play around and show you?? People already write our lives for us, so it was not intrusive. It was honest and fun, and we enjoyed it more than we thought we would. I think sometimes people get this idea Eddie and I take our selves seriously, and we don?t.?

She talks a lot about music and her country career and sort of breezes over the fact that her last albums have been dismal flops and that she got kicked off her record label. I get the feeling that she really does miss having a singing career, but not enough to actually make good music and tour consistently without being a hypochondriac drama queen. Speaking of, LeAnn is scheduled to sing the National Anthem at this year?s Indianapolis 500. Let?s see what illnesses pop up before then.

Mila Kunis appeared on today?s The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and she finally confirmed her pregnancy and talked about in some depth. The highlights: Mila says that she?s definitely due this year (I would say she?s due in late summer/early fall, but she?s not saying), that she and Ashton know the sex but they aren?t telling anyone. She says her cravings are ?stereotypical? ? she wants pickles and sauerkraut all day, every day. She says Ashton has been really great about her cravings (he has, like, a secret supply of pickles?) and he?s learned Russian so they can raise a bilingual child (Mila is fluent ? English is actually her second language).
I guess the most controversial (??) thing she said was that she plans to have a natural birth with no epidural:

Dear Angelina Jolie: STOP WITH THE SHOULDER PADS. It?s not 1987 anymore!! I actually wonder if she?s doing shoulder pads nowadays as an effort to ?balance out? her reconstructed breasts, which I think we can say? they have not ?settled? yet. They look bigger than the originals, and they?re higher too. I think Angelina is wearing shoulder pads because she doesn?t know how to dress her current upper body. Just a theory.
Anyway, these are photos from the daytime photocall for Maleficent in London today. Angie?s dress has CROWS on them. I think it?s adorable that Elle and Angie are doing clothes with the Maleficent ?theme? ? Elle is usually dressed like a princess of light, Angelina?s been doing the goth thing. But I appreciate that Angelina mixed up a little bit with some crows. Maleficent loves her crow. Or is it a raven? I know I’m going to get yelled at for that, so bring it on. I’ll be damned if I can find the designer IDs on these dresses, but I’ll update if I see them.
Angelina also gave some interviews/statements to the press last night and today in London. When asked about the Nigerian school girls who were abducted weeks ago, Jolie said:
?These men thought that they can get away with this, that they could abuse them in such a way, sell them, rape them, take them as property, because so many people have gotten away with this in the past because of this culture of impunity.”

It?s worth noting that just after the Maleficent event last night, Angelina and Brad went out for a late dinner with UK Foreign Secretary William Hague as well. I would imagine that Hague and Jolie had a lot to talk about ? she?s expected in London next month for a huge event for violence against women.
Angelina also had some good quotes about how Maleficent was always her ?favorite? when she was little and ?I wasn’t into princesses and I thought she was so elegant and so powerful?She scared me a little bit.? She also talks about how she?s constantly worried about her children, so much so that she can?t sleep at night sometimes: ?Of course just anything happening to somebody that I love is my greatest fear. There’s a lot that keeps me up a night, there’s a lot of bad stuff going on in the world.?

In this week?s Goop-letter, Gwyneth Paltrow has finally responded to the overwhelming criticism about an interview she did back in March. Which just goes to show you: Gwyneth does care about the peasants, but only when we?re coming at her with torches and pitchforks. Just for a recap, Gwyneth was speaking to E! News back in March about her schedule and how she only works on one film a year because she?s a full-time mom. But Goop took it one step too far, comparing herself to peasant working moms and she outright said the life of an actress is more difficult:
?It?s much harder for me. I feel like I set it up in a way that makes it difficult because?for me, like if I miss a school run, they are like, ?Where were you?? I don?t like to be the lead [in a film] so I don?t [have] to work every day, you know, I have little things that I like and obviously I want it to be good and challenging and interesting and be with good people and that kind of thing.? She added, ?I think it?s different when you have an office job, because it?s routine and, you know, you can do all the stuff in the morning and then you come home in the evening. When you?re shooting a movie, they?re like, ?We need you to go to Wisconsin for two weeks,? and then you work 14 hours a day and that part of it is very difficult. I think to have a regular job and be a mom is not as, of course there are challenges, but it?s not like being on set.?
Yes. She said that. Gwyneth did not offer any clarifying statements immediately following that interview, nor did her publicist or agent slam E! News for misquoting her or anything. I believe she said that on the record, and that E! quoted her verbatim. It was a big deal too ? the cable news stations were covering it. There was a segment on Morning Joe. It was big. Well, since Mother?s Day is coming up (this Sunday), Goop devoted her Goop-letter to correcting the record:
A few weeks ago during an interview, I was asked why I have only worked on one film a year since having children. My answer was this: Film work takes one away from home and requires 12-14 hours a day, making it difficult to be the one to make the kids their lunch, drive them to school, and put them to bed. So I have found it easier on my family life to make a film the exception, and my 9-5 job the rule. This somehow was taken to mean I had said a 9-5 job is easier, and a lot of heat was thrown my way, especially by other working mothers who somehow used my out-of-context quote as an opportunity to express feelings (perhaps projected) on the subject. As the mommy wars rage on, I am constantly perplexed and amazed by how little slack we cut each other as women. We see disapproval in the eyes of other mothers when we say how long we breastfed (Too long? Not long enough?), or whether we have decided to go back to work versus stay home. Is it not hard enough to attempt to raise children thoughtfully, while contributing something, or bringing home some (or more) of the bacon? Why do we feel so entitled to opine, often so negatively, on the choices of other women? Perhaps because there is so much pressure to do it all, and do it all well all at the same time (impossible).

She then shills a ?somewhat radical piece by Brigid Schulte,? which you can read at Goop because I?m not going to cut-and-paste it. So, let?s parse. First, I?ll start with the nice stuff: Gwyneth is right about judgy motherhood and competitive motherhood. I?m an outsider looking in on the Motherhood Industrial Complex, and it scares me to see the level of vitriol, judgment and condescension leveled at mothers by mothers. It?s mommy-on-mommy hate-crime.
Now, for the mean stuff. Gwyneth seems to tiptoe around the idea of outright saying she was misquoted. I think this is on purpose, because she knows she was not misquoted. She says it was taken ?out of context? ? I provided the context above, in the original interview, so you can see her building to her larger point, which is that working on one film a year as an actress is harder than moms who work 9-to-5 jobs. So, no, I don?t think we were ?projecting? on Goop. I think we were justifiably and righteously riled by yet another out-of-touch statement by a woman with a long history of making out-of-touch declarations. Oh, and saying that your critics are ?projecting? ? that?s pretty insulting too. ?Such adorable little small-minded peasants,? Gwyneth said to herself. ?They?re just mad because they?re so poor. And fat.?

Here are some photos of Lindsay Lohan two nights ago in London, attending Gabrielle?s Gala. CB suggested that the Cracken is posing like a ?move that cone, I?m a movie star!? because she?s drunk off her ass. I have to agree. LL looked pretty blitzed at this event, and I can only imagine that some dealer/assistant was off to the side, holding a ?water bottle? full of vodka.
As for the fashion? LL wore Julien Macdonald. I can?t think that this is a proud moment for Macdonald. Not only did he design something that LL crack-heisted to wear (I?m assuming), but LL made it look like one of the most unflattering designs ever. What?s up with her ?sag?? Is it because she rarely wears a bra and that?s what her boobs look like now? Or is the dress just pressing them down and it?s a weird effect?
Anyway, you might have heard this already (??), but it was news to me. In LL?s Kode interview (which she claims never happened, but in her defense, she was probably blackout drunk when it happened), she referenced Jennifer Lawrence and said, ?She?s so fake and I?m sorry I?m not going to f?k for roles.? Well, Star has a theory as to WHY LL said that.
Everybody?s talking about a recent interview in Kode magazine, in which Lindsay Lohan blasted Jennifer Lawrence as a ?fake? who slept her way to the top. But while Lindsay?s rep denied Lindsay ever talked to the publication, which quotes her as saying, ?I?m sorry I?m not going to f?k for roles,? Star has learned the real reason lindsay hates J-Law ? and ?roles? have nothing to do with it. According to an insider, Lindsay was rejected by Jennifer?s boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult.
?She tried to hook up with him back in 2010, but he wouldn?t give her the time of day. She called him nonstop. Finally, he told her to buzz off. Now she?s bitter and taking out her anger on Jen.?

It?s all About a Boy? Perhaps. It would not surprise me at all if LL had crack-stalked Nicholas Hoult at one point, and I wouldn?t be surprised if Lohan still held a (crack) torch for him. But, I think the bigger issue would be that Jennifer Lawrence makes a lot of B, C and D-list actresses nervous. She rose so quickly, achieved so much in such a short time, and now she?s getting all of the great scripts. It seems like Lindsay would look at J-Law?s career and think, ?That could have been me. I would have gotten all those parts if not for Jennifer Lawrence.? Because that?s what crack does to your mind, children.

Lending her star power to the fight, Anne Hathaway attended a rally to Bring Back Our Girls in Los Angeles on Thursday (May 8).
Joined by her husband Adam Shulman, the ?Les Miserables? star shared her support by amping up the crowd through a megaphone and waving around signs to help raise awareness about the kidnapping of 300 girls in Nigeria.
The Nigerian school girls were kidnapped last month from the town of Chibok by the radical group Boko Harem. Celebrities joined the cause by sharing their tweets on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #bringbackourgirls.
Everyone from Reese Witherspoon to Angelina Jolie shared their support for the cause. First Lady Michelle Obama also tweeted a photo of herself holding a sign, which read #bringbackourgirls and wrote, "It's time to #BringBackOurGirls."

I?m having a love-hate relationship with Blake Lively?s coat in these photos from Wednesday in NYC. This was my reaction: ?Oh, that coat is great? wait? no it?s not? 1980s wallpaper fug? butterfly what?? maybe it depends on the lighting? wait, maybe it?s okay after all?? So, I guess in the end I?ve come down on the side of thinking the coat is okay. The fit is great, the butterflies are too much, but from a distance it looks amazing.
Anyway, Blake has been all over the place this week, with the Met Gala, the Gucci Chime for Change event and then she?s just been out and about, getting photographed in NYC like in these photos. She?s also been talking to the press. And even though she?s really taken a step back from her acting career and her red carpet fashionista career over the past few years, it?s interesting to note that Blake hasn?t changed that much. She?s still trying to convince people that she doesn?t go to the gym, she loves chocolate and red carpets scare her. Some highlights from a few interviews:
Her post-Met Gala activity: ”I went to Serendipity… had frozen hot chocolate with extra peanut butter sauce on the side. Closed that place down! That’s how I do an after party!”
She loves to cook: ”I like to cook… I use a lot of fresh ingredients, which really does make a huge difference. It’s easier to be healthy when eating things that are fresh, because they are often fruits and vegetables, but I also live a very active lifestyle.?
She hates the gym: ”I’ve said before I hate the gym, I eat chocolate, yes that part is true. But what they don’t print is I hate the gym, so what I do instead is find other ways to be active… I ride bicycles, I hike, I go out and exercise in nature and I’m active that way.”
She claims her hair is a “shield?: “I hide behind it a bit because red carpets can be intimidating. And when my hair is in my face, I feel less exposed.”
Preparing for the red carpet: “I am so not confident on the red carpet. I just sit there thinking, ‘What would Gisele do?’ It is such a sensory overload. I’ve seen Solange [Knowles] perform in front of 90,000 people and I saw her [at the Met Gala] and was thinking, ‘Oh, why do we do this? This red carpet is always so scary.’ I saw her take a deep breath and put her performance face on, and you really have to do that. I’m not comfortable as me standing in front of 500 photographers, so I have to go somewhere else and pretend that I’m the confident person you hopefully expect me to be.”

Frozen hot chocolate with peanut butter sauce on the side? I don?t get it. Obviously, I don?t do gourmet desserts all that often, but is ?frozen hot chocolate? really a thing? Is it just chocolate milk, or is it like a frozen block of previously hot chocolate?
As for her talk about how she isn?t confident on red carpets? gurl, please. Her problem was never a lack of confidence. She?s always loved being photographed, and I can tell because for several years, she would go to the opening of an envelope and all she could talk about was how ?fun? it was to style herself.

I keep telling you: Angelina Jolie is going to Surprise-Bitch all of us until we see Maleficent. Here are photos of Angelina and Brad at last night?s ?private reception? at Kensington Palace which was some kind of Maleficent screening-plus-fundraiser for the Great Ormond Street Hospital. As you can probably tell, Angelina is still channeling Maleficent in this black Versace gown (and Louboutins).
If I?m being completely honest, I hate this Versace. I?m only giving it a chance because Angelina is wearing it, but if it was anyone else, I would have written this off at first glance. Since it?s Angie, let?s analyze. First off, the dress has built-in shoulder pads. Angelina already has great shoulders ? there is absolutely no reason for her to wear a gown with shoulder pads other than the fact that Angie?s default style comes from the Dynasty era. Secondly, while the beading is fabulous, the sacktastic cut of the dress on the bust is SO unflattering and uneven. It makes her look like not only are her boobs sagging, but one is sagging more than the other. Thirdly? yeah, this just feels like a costume. Like, this is what Maleficent wears to a Totally Eighties party.
As for Brad? he looks good. I want to burn those glasses, but his suit is lovely and I can handle the slicked-back hair. I kind of wonder if he wears Transitions lens like Matt Damon.
Incidentally, in case you were wondering if the tabloids were going to find a way to pit Angelina against George Clooney?s new fiance, ding ding ding, we have a winner! The Enquirer says Angie is ?fed up with all the fuss being made over Amal?Angelina?s worked hard to establish herself as THE celebrity humanitarian, but now that George has Amal on his arm, she feels threatened that she and Brad? can be knocked off their pedestal.? Considering George just cashed in his proverbial humanitarian chips by signing off as a UN goodwill ambassador for peace, methinks Angelina doesn?t have that much to worry about.
By the way, The Wrap says that Maleficent is on course to open with $60 million. Disney is targeting moms and daughters, although I hope they?re not trying to sell it to really little girls (like, under 6). Maleficent opens on May 30th here in America, but the UK gets it on May 28th.
