Miranda Kerr is still promoting her Kora Organics line, and she?s specifically promoting Kora?s new product, the Noni Bright Vitamin C Serum. I probably don?t give Miranda enough credit for starting her own skincare line and being one of the first to really make ?organic skincare? into a major thing. She is legitimately a businesswoman and? she also loves the healing power of crystals. That dichotomy can work in one person. Miranda has a new interview with W Magazine to promote Kora, and if some of these quotes sound familiar, it?s because she said a lot of the same sh-t in her recent New Beauty cover story. This is a new interview though, she just has the same talking points. You can read the full piece here. Some highlights:
On starting Kora Organics in 2009: ?We were basically the pioneers. I launched the company in Australia ten years ago, before anyone was really interested in or talking about clean beauty. The idea that health is wealth is one that I kind of grew up with, so I understood that what you put on your skin goes into your blood stream early on. You know, for such a long time, there was this misconception that oh, maybe if it?s natural or clean or organic, it?s not as effective. But the interesting part is that because we?re certified organic, we?re so much more than just clean beauty. Our ingredients are grown on soil that?s not depleted, because of the organic certification. We have rules and regulations, not just around obviously avoiding the chemicals being sprayed on crops and what not, but around the nutrient density of the soil.?
Her husband Evan Spiegel & her sons use Kora: ?Oh yeah, I use the products on all my family. I use the body lotion and body wash on the baby, and I keep the body balm in his bag. They?re super nourishing and great for sensitive skin, and incredible for the kids. My husband [Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel] and I both use the turmeric two-in-one scrub?we keep it in the shower, and use it every morning. It?s a scrub and/or a face mask?you can use it both ways. And if you combine it with the Noni glow face oil, its like an at-home facial. My husband uses the face oil, too.
Evan?s flaky skin: ?Well, he naturally has very dry skin?it?s part of his genetics. It?s interesting because I have an eight-year-old son who has a different dad Orlando Bloom, and I?ve always used the products on him, and his skin?s always been great. But now with my second son, with Evan, he has naturally his dad?s skin. So if I?m not consistent with applying the Kora body lotion and balm, or the body oil, daily, he?ll get a little dry patch. But if I am, hell have none whatsoever. It?s incredible to see those results on such a little baby?the products really do work.
She loves crystals: ?Yeah, so there are so many more layers to Kora. Obviously, the first layer of our business is products that are certified organic and produce results, but the other main element is all about the interconnection of the mind, body, and skin, and recognizing that how you think affects the way you feel. There are different tools you can use to help support yourself, and one that I?ve used throughout the years is crystals. Throughout the manufacturing process, every single ingredient of every single product touches upon crystals. Some products actually contain crystals?our eye oil has a rose quartz roller ball, and we have luminizers with actual crushed rose quartz and amethysts, so youre getting that luminosity, and youre getting a little bit of magic at the same time.

I?ll admit to finding the skin-genes part of the conversation interesting. I haven?t seen Miranda?s son Flynn in a while, but from what I remember, Flynn takes after Miranda more in coloring and looks. Does Flynn have Orlando?s great, olive complexion or does Flynn have Miranda?s fairer complexion? But sure, I?ll believe that baby Hart probably takes after Evan Spiegel. I have my dad?s skin, which is to say I have ?Indian skin? which, like my father?s, is more prone to weird dry patches and out-of-nowhere rashes. Lots of soaps and detergents make me itchy too. Maybe I should have been using organic sh-t this whole time. Anyway? I find it interesting that she can be all organic-science-y and then talk about the magic of crystals. Miranda is a riddle.

Miranda Kerr has a new interview in New Beauty, mostly to promote her KORA Organics beauty/skincare line. The interviewer mentions that Miranda was more involved with ?wellness? before Gwyneth Paltrow, and it just reminded me that Miranda and Gwyneth are so much alike. But in Gwyneth?s case, I feel like she?s more willful in her pseudoscience, if that makes any sense. Like, Miranda genuinely believes in crystals and energies and the power of good thoughts. Gwyneth might genuinely believe in that stuff too, but mostly I think Gwyneth just throws nonsense at the wall to see what sticks and then finds a way to profit from it. Anyway, this Kerr interview starts off in a hilarious way, with Miranda insulting her now-husband Evan Spiegel. Some highlights:
Her first impression of Evan Spiegel: ?I thought, ?Oh, this guy is cute. But, ?Wow, his skin is flaky!? I was like, ?Why don?t you try this,? and I gave him the Noni Glow Face Oil ($68). Ever since, he hasn?t stopped using it! He always says, ?Oh my God, Miranda, this is the only product that has helped my dry skin.? Now, he won?t go anywhere without it.?
Miranda on being the original Goop: ?It?s funny because I remember giving Gwyneth the products when I had launched in 2009. At the time, she was talking about how she just started this website called goop, and I was like, ?Oh! That sounds right up my alley.? Now our products are sold on her site, so it?s really come full circle. I know the self-tanner is flying off the shelves because she texted me recently and said, ?This tanning lotion is incredible. I can?t believe the sales. It?s crazy!?
The changing conversations on wellness: ?I think it?s really exciting that people are becoming much more educated and aware of the benefits of health and wellness. They?re looking for those different self-care avenues and practices that will uplift them and complement their lifestyles. There are so many different tools out there that can work, but everyone is different. Somebody?s medicine might be somebody else?s poison. it?s important to find what supports you and your wellness and explore that further?.I?ve always said that I try to be 80-percent healthy and 20-percent indulgent across all areas?not just in what I eat, but in general. Even my character is 80-percent good girl and 20-percent naughty. I think it?s important to not put pressure on yourself to be super strict about anything. Balance is important.
How she eats: ?It?s the same way when I eat. I love to eat healthy, but I also love to indulge. I eat out sometimes and it?s not organic. If I go to a friend?s house, I?m not going to ask, ?Is it organic?? I?m going to enjoy the food they prepared for me with love. I?m not going to be crazy.
Flynn is involved too: ?He did a project at school about healthy food and said something like, ?I?m blessed to be able to eat healthy, organic food.? Then he picked up a vegetable and asked if it was organic. I told him, ?Yes, Flynn, we grew it in our backyard, it?s organic.? He?s so inquisitive and curious. He loves watching me cook, and he also loves yoga. When he was in my belly, I would do yoga every day, so he has a deep connection with it?we still do yoga together at least once a week. He?s also very aware of his environment. He loves being outdoors, and he?s really conscious of things like turning off the water when he?s brushing his teeth, and taking a quick shower. He also picks up trash when he sees it. I think teaching children at a young age to do all of these little things like turning the tap off, or turning the lights off, or bringing the reusable bag to the supermarket, are things everyone can do. They make a big difference.
One of her wellness musts: ?I even have something installed in my Malibu house to turn out all the power while we sleep. It?s basically a button that turns all the power off, except for the fridge and security cameras, in the nighttime. So when you go to sleep, you don?t have any Wi-Fi or electricity in the house at all.

That button that turns the power out while they sleep? that?s fascinating to me. So she doesn?t have an alarm clock or something by the bed which is plugged in? What about the water heater for the shower in the morning? So many questions. As for Evan?s dry skin? I feel like she probably shouldn?t share that, but it was all part of a longer testimonial she was making on his behalf. Miranda says repeatedly that Evan is obsessed with his KORA Organics products and he swears by them.
This pissed me off: ?There are so many different tools out there that can work, but everyone is different. Somebody?s medicine might be somebody else?s poison.? Yeah, I get that she?s trying to make an argument for less Western medicine, but much like Gwyneth?s reliance on pseudoscience, I find it disturbing when people equate ?medicine? with ?poison.? It?s extremely unhelpful.

Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel have welcomed their first child together, and it?s a boy! Miranda and Evan got married in March 2017, and they announced her pregnancy last November. Considering how Miranda is very ?all-natural/organic? with everything, my guess is that in the months to come, we?ll be hearing about her drug-free birth with only the assistance of a doula and a swarm of butterflies. Apparently, Evan and Miranda named their son? Hart? Hart Spiegel.
Miranda Kerr?s baby boy has arrived! The Australian model gave birth to her second child and first with husband Evan Spiegel, on Monday, May 7 in Los Angeles, PEOPLE confirms. Born at 11:53 p.m., Hart is named after Evan?s grandfather, a source tells PEOPLE.
?Words cannot explain how happy we are to welcome our beautiful son into our family. Miranda is doing well and Flynn is excited to be a big brother. Thank you for the kind words and wishes during this very special time,? the new parents told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement. Kerr, 35, is also mom to 7-year-old son Flynn with ex-husband Orlando Bloom.

When I first read the name ?Hart? with no backstory, I thought it was Miranda?s idea and I was ready to eyeroll. But hearing that it?s a family name? it makes the name better, right? And while Hart Spiegel sounds like the name of an old-fashion law firm, it actually sort of works. Basically, I?m surprised that I don?t hate this at all. Congrats to Miranda and Evan! And we?ll see if she sticks with Evan through Snapchat?s highs and lows.

Here are some photos from some of the Golden Globe afterparties, and there were a lot of after-parties. Most people just wore the same outfits they wore to the Globes, but a handful of people (B-listers, C-listers) weren?t invited to the Globes, so they just came out to party and network. And then there were a few who did change clothes, because sure, why not. Here?s Miranda Kerr at the InStyle party – this is actually her first (??) red carpet since announcing her pregnancy in November. I actually forgot she was pregnant. Her maternity dress (??) is Balmain. It?s not cute. And I don?t think this is a maternity dress – I think this is just a stretchy dress and she squeezed into it.
Sam Taylor-Johnson and Aaron Taylor-Johnson actually went to the Globes but no one noticed! Then they went to the Focus Features party. They both wore Givenchy and looked nice.
I find Hailey Baldwin to be one of the oddest of the nepotism models. She has no presence, no ?look,? and she?s even more dead-eyed than Kendall Jenner. Hailey wore DSquared2 to the InStyle party. This is bad.
Diane Kruger changed outfits into this shredded Alexander McQueen look for the InStyle party. This looks like what my kitten has been doing to the toilet paper.
Kate Beckinsale in Alex Perry at the InStyle party? well? I mean, her body is HOT. I wish my body looked like that. But I think so highly of her beauty, I hate to see her looking so obvious and Emily Ratajkowski-esque.

More than a week ago, we talked about Miranda Kerr?s shady connection to an ongoing FBI probe which is connected to a Malaysian government corruption investigation. It?s all incredibly complicated, and several celebrities – like Leonardo DiCaprio – received very expensive ?gifts? from Malaysian officials who likely paid for those gifts using government funds. Miranda got caught up in the investigation because she, like Leo, received ?gifts.? Malaysian financier Jho Low was apparently so infatuated with Kerr – and they reportedly dated throughout 2014 – that he gifted her jewelry worth $8.1 million. Miranda has now turned over that jewelry to the FBI.
Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr has handed over $8.1 million worth of jewelry from her Los Angeles deposit box to US government agents. The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday the jewels included a 11.72 carat heart-shaped diamond pendant Valentine?s Day gift from former boyfriend and Malaysian financier Jho Low.
?From the start of the inquiry, Miranda Kerr co-operated fully and pledged to turn over the gifts of jewelry to the government,? Ms. Kerr?s spokesman told the newspaper. ?Ms. Kerr will continue to assist with the inquiry in any way she can.?
The jewels were identified in civil-forfeiture lawsuits filed by the US Justice Department pursuing assets allegedly bought with money misappropriated from Malaysian sovereign-wealth fund 1Malaysia Development Bhd. The fund has denied any wrongdoing and Low has not been accused of a crime. The Justice Department is seeking more than $US1.7 billion worth of assets. Ms. Kerr reportedly dated Low for about a year in 2014.
The 34-year-old Sydney-born model began dating Snapchat co-founder and billionaire Evan Spiegel in 2015 and the couple married in Los Angeles last month. Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio was also unwittingly caught up in the investigation and agreed to turn over gifts identified in the lawsuit, including an Oscar won by Marlon Brando.

I like the note about how Miranda kept the jewelry in her safe deposit box. Like, she?s trying to give the impression that she never wore the jewelry because she had a feeling it was tainted by corruption. When really, the whole story makes me wonder about just what she was up to that year. I honestly haven?t been following the ongoing saga of the DOJ investigation into Malaysian officials? corruption and how those officials funneled money into American films and charities. Leonardo DiCaprio has already been caught up in this ever-expanding dragnet, because his environmental charity received donations from a Malaysian official who apparently stole the money from the government. Or something. The whole story is very crazy and involved and I trust that the DOJ is getting sh-t done. This week, the federal government seized the rights to the films Dumb and Dumber To and Daddy?s Home because those films were financed by Red Granite Pictures, a production company financed by Malaysian officials? dodgy and illegal activities. The feds are also gathering up gifts that some celebrities received from certain Malaysian officials. DiCaprio apparently received several high-priced paintings which were apparently seized by the government. You can read more about that here.
So, it?s incredibly complicated and shady and I wouldn?t be surprised if Leo DiCaprio ended up in more hot water. But guess who else is involved? Miranda Kerr. The following story is absolutely insane.
Supermodel Miranda Kerr was given millions of dollars? worth of diamonds by her billionaire ex-boyfriend ? who is accused of masterminding the theft of $4.5?billion from a Malaysian development fund. Malaysian financier Jho Low began showering Kerr with the gems on Valentine?s Day 2014 ? shortly after her divorce from actor Orlando Bloom ? the US government charges in a civil lawsuit it filed Thursday as part of an effort to seize assets it claims were bought with money stolen in the development-fund scam.
For his first gift, Low told Manhattan-based jeweler to the stars Lorraine Schwartz that he had $1?million to $2 million to spend ? and that size mattered, according to the suit. He met the jeweler in his Time Warner Center condo ? which the feds say he also bought with stolen cash ? and settled on a diamond big enough to be any girl?s best friend ? an 11.72-carat, heart-shaped rock that cost $1.29?million, the suit says. As a finishing touch, he had it inscribed it with Kerr?s initials.
?Low [gave] the 11.72-carat heart-shaped diamond to Kerr, who resides in Los Angeles, as a Valentine?s Day present,? the court filings state.
That was just the beginning. In November 2014, Low allegedly plunked down $3.8 million as partial payment for an 8.88-carat diamond pendant from Schwartz valued at around $4.5 million that he gave to Kerr as a gift. He bought it after seeing a photo of it.
?Heart looks beautiful,? he wrote to his jeweler. ?Let?s take it and be ready asap!?
The diamond was sent to Low in November at the London office of a lingerie company that he had also allegedly bought with stolen money. It came with a chain and necklace that cost $800,000. He then spent an additional $1.98 million on 11-carat diamond earrings and a matching necklace, ring and bracelet. Low gave Kerr those diamonds aboard his new yacht, the Equanimity, which the government also wants back. By October, Low added a $1 million 11-carat diamond earrings to his offerings to Kerr. He then wired another $4.05 million to Schwartz to pay for it all.
If the suit to claw back Low?s ill-gotten bling is successful, then the feds can sue Kerr to get the diamonds back, unless she agrees to hand them over on her own. The gifts to Kerr, who dated Low for a year, are just part of more than $1.6 billion worth of assets ? including property, art, jewels, the yacht and even a jet ? that the US Justice Department is now trying to recover.
Kerr ? who married the billionaire founder of Snapchat, Evan Spiegel, this year ? has been cooperating fully with the investigation and still has the diamonds, said a source close to her. The feds have not asked for the diamonds back yet, the source said.

You know what?s funny? Around the same time – post-Orly, 2014 – Miranda Kerr was also dealing with Aussie billionaire James Packer. How many billionaires did she have on the hook that year? The following year, 2015, she met billionaire Evan Spiegel and they just got married last month. Evan has not spent that kind of money on diamonds for Miranda. Spiegel gave her a simple, smallish solitaire diamond engagement ring. Maybe he was intimidated by all of the ill-gotten rocks that she got. Because OMG I can?t believe that shady Malaysian spent all of that money on her. Good God.

It would not surprise me at all if Evan Spiegel did make her sign a prenup, which is what was reported in the tabloids last year. Of course, as I said, maybe this is 100% true love and they just want to have a baby right away because everything is perfect. Who knows??

Well, well. I only learned on Friday that Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel would marry this weekend. They did a good job of not bashing people over the head with incessant wedding talk. I imagine that?s what happens when you marry an actual billionaire: things are genuinely kept low-key and quiet, as opposed to spending months leaking tons of information about the upcoming nuptials to stir interest in the union, then making the actual wedding some huge pap-friendly pose-a-thon. Evan is the billionaire co-founder and CEO of Snapchat, and he and Miranda have been together since summer-ish 2015. They got engaged last July and I hated her ring. Apparently, the small-ish wedding went down in Evan?s backyard.
Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel have tied the knot! Kerr, 34, and Spiegel, 26, married in an intimate ceremony in southern California on Saturday. Guests were spotted arriving at Spiegel?s Los Angeles home ahead of the wedding on Saturday evening, a source tells PEOPLE. Prior to the pair?s nuptials, caterers and employees were seen preparing for a big celebration in the backyard of Spiegel?s home.
It was an private small ceremony for family and friends ? around 40 guests total ? and everyone was chauffeured to Spiegel?s house in cars. The women were seen wearing colorful floor-length dresses and the men wore suits.
?For a small wedding, it has been a huge production,? a source tells PEOPLE. ?The wedding and reception are intimate, but lavish and classy. Miranda has been very involved. She has great taste and knew exactly what she wanted. She is very sweet. She is ecstatic to marry Evan.?
The model and Snapchat CEO first met at a Louis Vuitton dinner in 2014, and were spotted out together in L.A. in June 2015.

The last time I paid attention to Evan and Miranda, I think she said that he lived with her, in her Malibu home. He had even made some upgrades to her house, and I thought that was still their living arrangement. I looked it up though – last year, he bought a Brentwood home for $12 million, and that?s the house where they got married. You can see some photos of the house here – it?s a gorgeous, historic (for LA) house and it’s not a modernist cube with no character. I could see having a small, classy wedding in that backyard too. I don?t think more than, say, 50 people would fit comfortably in that space though, so I guess they were always going to do it very, very small. As People Mag says, only 40 people total. I guess Evan doesn?t have a big, extended family? And I guess Miranda probably didn?t invite a bunch of people from Australia.
Also: I wonder if Miranda and Evan have had sex now? She said they were saving themselves for marriage. Which? I still don?t know if I believe that.
