Here is Jordana Brewster looking so pretty at the Los Angeles premiere of ?Furious 7,? the seventh installment in the ?Fast & Furious? series.
She accessorized the sexy number with a mint green clutch, nude Stuart Weitzman sandals, and probably a whole lot of fashion tape. She cut a flirty figure in her grey-blue floor-length dress that had Pink starfish designs.

Here’s Jordana Brewster at the Furious 7 premiere in LA and I was thinking, I know they’ve done a lot of crazy sh*t in these movies, like dragging a bank vaultthrough Rio, driving a car through a plane, all that crap. But I’m still waiting for them to finally do the craziest stunt of all: […]

| Star: Emma Stone & Andrew Garfield hit a 'rough patch' & they?re on a 'break' | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

There?s a rumor going around Star Magazine that Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are over. Dun dun dun. Even though I have mixed feelings on Garfield in general ? he?s given some weird interviews ? I really, really liked them as a couple. They got together nearly four years ago when they met while filming The Amazing Spider-Man. I?m pretty sure they live together too ? Emma has an apartment in NYC and I think Andrew lives there with her. Anyway, Star Magazine says that Emma and Andrew are ?taking a break? because of competing work schedules and never seeing each other.
Oh no! Hollywood?s most adorable couple, Emma and Andrew, are no longer together, according to a new report. Find out what happened to the pair who have been together for over 3 years! Don?t worry, Emma Stone, 26, and Andrew Garfield, 31, are not over for good, but they are taking some time apart to figure things out, according to the sad new report. The long distance nature of their relationship has really taken its toll on the stars.
?It?s clear they?ve drifted apart. It?s an unspoken issue, but everybody knows they are on hold,? an Insider shared with Star magazine.
The couple has been going through a ?rough patch? and being thousands of miles apart hasn?t helped. Andrew has been shooting a film in Taiwan and will soon be filming in Australia.
Nobody suspected anything was wrong with their relationship until Andrew was a no-show at the Oscars and The Golden Globes, where his girlfriend was nominated.
?Yes, Andrew was filming but he could have gotten away if he really wanted to. The fact was, neither one of them wanted to plaster on a smile and pretend everything was OK when it wasn?t,? the source explained.
?They are taking some time apart to figure things out. They need to know if what they once had is worth saving. They aren?t ready to call it quits just yet,? the insider insisted.
[From Hollywood Life]
Does this make you sad? I?m sort of sad, but I also feel like? yeah, maybe they need some space from each other. They were such a cute couple but I sometimes worried that Andrew wasn?t as supportive as he should be of Emma?s career. But hey, maybe this is just a temporary break and they?ll be back together by the end of the year. You never know.

| Michelle Rodriguez: 'I can't be the slut. I cannot just be the girlfriend' | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
|
Here are some photos of Michelle Rodriguez at the Furious 7 premiere (Kaiser covered solo Elsa Pataky and everyone else). Michelle’s wearing a Vivienne Westwood dress, which is gorgeous under certain lighting. The silhouette flatters Michelle, but the jacquard overlay is the wrong color. It looks dusty, for lack of a better descriptor. I would have preferred a darker overlay, but I’m chuffed to see Michelle favoring Westwood designs lately.
Michelle has a new interview with NJ.com. The most interesting part is how she picks her roles. You’ll never see her play the girlfriend who fades into the background. Michelle also has a problem with scripts that feature an empowered women getting killed or raped. Yes, why does Hollywood do that? Michelle has the answer:
The appeal of this franchise: “We’re antiheroes being heroes, you know? It’s kind of Robin Hood-esque … But also I think it has a lot to do with the multicultural cast. People in this country – or in Spain, in Africa, in Asia – they can buy a ticket and see somebody who looks like them, and someone who isn’t necessarily a stereotype but an individual, a character who’s kind of blue-collar but also in this heroic position. It’s still pretty rare to have characters like that you can identify with. And after all this time, it’s crossing generations. I have six-year-kids running up to me and talking about Letty, which is really cool.”
On early career advice people gave her: “Well, I don’t know how well-intentioned it was! But you know, here’s the thing – I have such a strong sense of self, there are certain lines I just won’t cross. I’m really picky about the parts I choose. I can’t be the slut. I cannot be just the girlfriend. I can’t be the girl who gets empowered because she’s been raped. I can’t be the girl who gets empowered and then dies. So I just said to myself, look, you’re going to just have to create your own archetype, doesn’t matter if you go broke doing it. And I almost did go broke, twice! But people finally got it: OK, Michelle is not malleable, you’re not going to influence her by shining fame and money at her, and they stopped offering me that sort of stuff. But you know, it’s a Catch-22. It’s helped me and it’s screwed me. I’ve stuck to my guns and I’m proud.”
The movie clich of the empowered women who dies: “I remember this script that came over my desk and it’s – I’m not even going to name it, it’ll just get me in more trouble – but I was reading it and at first I wanted to say no, because she’s Latina and she’s a drug dealer, and that’s like the only time you see Latin-Americans in Hollywood pictures. But I kept reading and I thought, well, some of it is based on truth, and she’s kind of an interesting person. And then I turn the page and they’ve stuck in this rape scene. Which didn’t even happen in real life, they just stuck it in there, this made-up thing and I thought, why? Why it is necessary to take her down like that? I mean, like Million Dollar Baby – why’s she got to die at the end, man? I mean, I get the tear-jerking, but would you do that to a male character? … I mean like 80% of the writers out there are men, and of course you’re going to write what you know. But it’s our fault as women for not penetrating that market, you know? I can’t complain about the scripts that are out there until I start writing some myself.”
[From NJ.com]
Michelle also talks about how everything came together for her after first Resident Evil movie. That’s the first time I noticed her and knew she possessed a fierceness seldom seen in Hollywood movies. She speaks the truth on how most script writers are men, and their narratives reflect their bias. Not every guy writes that way (obviously), but that’s the general trend.
MRod’s been making the press rounds. She talked to Entertainment Weekly about her sense of loss over Paul Walker’s death. They were friends and co-workers for 14 years, and she was so used to his regular presence that “I went pretty crazy. A lot of the stuff I did last year I would never do had I been in my right mind.” I believe she’s referring to the bizarre Zac Efron fling and the Cara Delevingne mess. There’s also a gross story about how obsessed she is with caviar. Us Weekly says Michelle regularly drops $700 in a single sitting because she loves the stuff so much. What a waste of money.

| Keira Knightley discusses pay equality without sounding like Patricia Arquette | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Keira Knightley covers the new issue of Violet, although I?m pretty sure this photoshoot was done MONTHS ago. Probably last year. Because Keira is super-pregnant these days and these photos show her tiny little waist. In fact, I wouldn?t be surprised at all if Keira had a big baby announcement in the next week or so. Her due date is likely any day now. As for the interview, Keira had some interesting things to say about feminism and female characters and woman-oriented storytelling. She talked a lot about all of that throughout the promotional tour for The Imitation Game ? it?s her cause, and it?s a good cause to have. We need younger actresses openly discussing the fact that Hollywood needs to refocus and have more stories for, by and starring women.
Women in film: ?Where are the female stories? Where are they? Where are the directors, where are the writers? It?s imbalanced, so given that we are half the cinema-going public, we are half the people [who] watch drama or watch anything else, where is that? So yes, I think the pay is a huge thing, but I?m actually more concerned over the lack of our voices being heard.?
Feminism: ?I don?t know what happened through the ?80s,?90s, and ?00s that took feminism off the table, that made it something that women weren?t supposed to identify with and were supposed to be ashamed of. Feminism is about the fight for equality between the sexes, with equal respect, equal pay, and equal opportunity. At the moment we are still a long way off that.?
Playing Joan Clarke in The Imitation Game: ?I think it is interesting that for women in film the problems they face are generally put into the sphere of home and family and not into the workplace. Joan?s real struggles were to get her rightful ?place at the table,? and then once she was there, equal pay, which she never came close to.?
[From Style.com]
I like that Keira manages to discuss feminism and woman-centered storytelling without it coming across like? Patricia Arquette. You know? Bless Arquette for putting her views out there and starting a conversation about equal pay in the middle of the Oscars, but Arquette?s wording and phrasing alienated a lot of potential allies. Keira?s comments seem to be a reflection of the need for more women ? of all colors and sexual orientations ? to be brought into the storytelling fold.

| Mark Wahlberg will make a Boston marathon bombing movie: too soon? | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|
|
|
|
|
When I saw this story yesterday, I thought it could be an April Fool’s joke because it sounded like a Mark Wahlberg clich. The very idea of Mark Wahlberg producing a movie (starring Mark Wahlberg) about the 2013 Boston marathon movie seemed like a completely obnoxious thing that Mark Wahlberg would do. But this story is legit.
Mark will make a movie about the bombing and the aftermath. He will indeed produce and probably star as Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis. Never mind that the trial of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is still ongoing. Does that matter? Mark is from Boston, so I guess he feels like he’s the right dude to make this movie. I think the movie shouldn’t be made at all, at least not so soon.
Mark is notorious for his delusions of grandeur. Remember how he said he would have defeated the 9/11 terrorists? His ego has taken over another tragedy:
The story is envisioned as an intense thriller, spanning the five-day search up to the infamous siege where Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was pulled from a boat in Watertown. Three lost their lives at the Marathon blast site, 264 were injured, and a police officer was killed and several injured in the shootout that ended in the death of Tsarnaev?s older brother, Tamerlan. The younger mass murderer is currently on trial. Victims were eulogized in a touching ceremony at Fenway Park, something that most certainly will be part of each of those feature films, including an unforgettable exhortation of defiance by Red Sox slugger David Ortiz.
“There is nothing more compelling than a real story populated by real heroes,” said CBS Films President Terry Press. “The team that we have assembled for this project is determined to give audiences a very personal look at what occurred during the days when the eyes of the world were on the city of Boston and how a group of contemporary patriots faced this crisis.”
[From Deadline]
Deadline says that footage from this year’s Boston marathon (later this month) will be used in the film. This is a bad idea, and it feels like Mark is capitalizing on this tragedy and using it for his own ends. He probably thinks he’s doing something noble, sort of like when he thought a pardon for his crimes would inspire street youth. This movie will be another notch in his self-serving maneuver belt. Classic Marky Mark.
