Stepping out for some media duties, Kate Upton stopped by Good Day New York on Thursday (October 24).
The 21-year-old supermodel looked absolutely flawless in a vibrant red dress as she greeted the shutterbugs waiting for her.
Recently, GossipCenter caught up with Miss Upton to discuss her favorite fall trend.
"I love anything leather," the Sports Illustrated stunner explained. "A leather jacket in the fall or a good pair of leather boots."
Also sharing the item she would take on a trip to space, Kate stated, "I would just be excited to have the opportunity to go to outer space."
"I don't think I would be thinking about anything materialistic," she added.

Stepping out for some media duties, Eva Mendes stopped by Lucky Magazine's Two-Day East Coast Fashion and Beauty Blog Conference in New York City on Thursday (October 25).
The "We Own The Night" actress looked chic in a black-and-white ensemble with nude heels while posing for a few photos before heading inside.
During her interview in the October 2013 issue of Lucky magazine, Miss Mendes dished about her new clothing line with NY and Company.
"There are days when I don't feel great, but I put on my favorite dress and throw a scarf in my hair, and it makes a difference. Hopefully my line can do that for women," the 39-year-old actress explained.
"Even if you're not feeling your best, let's admit it, the right outfit - it helps. My customer is not a fan of the way tabloids cover celebrity style: 'Who wore it best.' It's disastrous for women's self-esteem," she added.

Lindsay Lohan is back to her old habits even after telling Oprah she’s a changed woman. Lindsay was at Sing Sing Karaoke bar with a group of friends when she got into an argument and refused to leave at closing. She sat at the bar until almost 6 a.m.
She was hanging out with a male model type and girlfriends who all ordered and finished a bottle of Jameson. “Lindsay was overheard saying she hadn’t had a drink.” I guess that was to the benefit of everyone sitting around them.
?Lindsay was chain-smoking,? our tipster says. ?She walked in sober and she left looking tired.?
The night took a turn for the worse when a customer overheard LiLo get into a ?disturbance? with a staffer, as she begged to keep the bar open past closing and was acting ?insanely belligerent.?
When asked to leave, Lohan called the cops, claiming staffers had locked her in the private karaoke room. The NYPD showed up, but no one bothered to file a report.
When Lohan and the group finally left, staffers found their private karaoke room littered with trash and empty bottles.
Lohan, scared that news of her late-night antics would leak, had two pals return the next day to smooth things over with Sing Sing staff. One employee confirmed that Lohan, now living in SoHo, has become a regular at the joint.
No, no. Lindsay wasn’t drunk. Think about it. What drunk person do you know would refuse to leave a bar even after closing? That’s unheard of.

I didn?t realize that Natalie Portman and Tom Hiddleston were going to attend the Thor 2 premiere in Paris last night, so I apologize if today seems a bit oversaturated on Hiddles & Portman. I want to say the next thing with absolutely no sarcasm or judgment or emotion, lest I be accused of ?hating? on a particular actor: Chris Hemsworth did not attend the Paris premiere. He attended the London premiere the night before, and both Natalie and Tommy made it to the Paris premiere but Chris did not.
As for Natalie? she looks worlds better in Paris than she did in London. Remember what she wore for the London premiere? It was AWFUL. She wore Dior in Paris, and this dress is super-cute. It?s Spring 2013 Dior. Her shoes are Charlotte Olympia (leather-free). If I could change one thing? I would do away with her center part. I want to give her a loose, sexy, bedhead look. Also ? it?s still amusing (to me!) that Natalie ended up married to a guy like Benjamin Millepied. He just looks like such a massive dork standing next to her.
I?m adding some bonus photos of Hiddleston at the premiere too. Again, no Chris Hemsworth at the premiere? The hell? Also: I?m becoming sort of bizarrely obsessed with Tommy?s tongue. His tongue comes out whenever he laughs or smiles in a big way. It?s not like he?s going Full Twerky, but once you pay attention to his tongue, you see it everywhere.

Here are some photos from the 2013 Whitney Gala & Studio Party in New York City last night. It wasn?t as artsy as you would think, although Jeff Koons was there. Maybe some of the other artists simply didn?t walk the carpet, leaving it for the actresses and celebrities. So here is Michelle Williams, wearing one of the cutest Louis Vuitton dresses I?ve seen in a while. I know no one is going to go crazy over Michelle in a little black dress, but if you?re going to do an LBD, do it this way. Very clean, perfect fit, great cut ? sophisticated but not stuffy, simple but interesting. My one complaint: I feel like Michelle?s hair is still at a very awkward stage.
Dianna Agron in Louis Vuitton as well ? Dianna has been wearing some very conservative looks lately. While I like that she isn?t all about showing off her body, I do wonder if she?s bordering on frumpy at times.
Riley Keough in Louis Vuitton. She looks more like her mom here, right? But it?s a cute, sexy outfit. She must have felt comfortable leaving her home, knowing that roaming bands of Twihards would not attack her.
Sofia Coppola in Louis Vuitton ? I usually think she looks great, but this is awful. The pants don?t look right and that sweater is? ugh.
Alexa Chung in Louis Vuitton. Ugh. The mini is cute, I guess, but it feels like her styling is off. I think it?s the hair.
Zoe Kravitz in ?? Louis Vuitton probably. I would change the lipstick and that?s all.

Giving their French fans a thrill, Natalie Portman and Tom Hiddleston showed up at the premiere of ?Thor: The Dark World? in Paris last night (October 23).
The ?War Horse? hunk donned a black suit and tie combo as he posed outside Le Grand Rex Theatre with the ?Garden State? gal and several industry bigwigs.
In the flick, Natalie gets to rough up her hunky costars, including Chris Hemsworth, and it turns out she really enjoyed the experience.
"I found it very satisfying. I think it's on behalf of all my girlfriends who had guys that didn't call them back or disappeared or just fell off the face of the earth."
However given Hemsworth?s height advantage, Portman had to come up with creative ways to reach high enough to strike- "There were sort of like secret boxes of ramps or something that they would sneak in there so I could be closer to him, otherwise there would be no way I could hit his face if I tried. I'd be like jumping and trying to reach his cheek."

A few weeks ago, I covered Natalie Portman?s Elle UK interview, and people really freaked out. I didn?t really get it. Natalie was talking (out of her ass) about feminism, claiming: ?The fallacy in Hollywood is that if you?re making a ?feminist? story, the woman kicks ass and wins. That?s not feminist, that?s macho. A movie about a weak, vulnerable woman can be feminist if it shows a real person that we can empathize with.?
I understood what she was trying to say, that a lot of characters are labeled ?feminist? when really they?re just dudes in ?feminist? drag, or that ?feminism? means that every woman has to kick-ass and take names. And she?s right about that, but I took exception to the idea that ?a movie about a weak, vulnerable woman can be feminist if it shows a real person that we can empathize with.? I used the example of Bella Swan in Twilight ? she?s a weak, vulnerable character throughout much of the series, and many young girls

I always forget two things about Nicolas Cage: one, he?s still with his wife Alice Kim (even though they had some marriage problems in the past) and two, they have a son together, Kal-El Coppola Cage. For real. Nic Cage named his son Kal-El. Because of course. Anyway, what?s important to remember is that Nic is married to a Korean-American lady and their son Kal-El is mixed race. Which means that when Nic was recently in Beijing to do some press for his new film, he answered questions about diversity in Hollywood with a surprising amount of depth and racial transcendence. OMG, I kind of love Nic Cage now. WTF?
Nicolas Cage just wrapped up shooting on location in China for British director Nick Powell?s upcoming period drama Outcast, co-starring Hayden Christensen. But before Cage left the country, he gave an interview to Chinese state broadcaster CCTV, in which he reveals a few things about his role in the film, discusses his acting methods and speaks out against the dearth of lead roles offered to male Asian actors in Hollywood.
Answering a question about his experience working with the Chinese crew on Outcast, Cage took the opportunity to briefly turn the interview in a more serious direction.
After praising his female co-star Liu Yifei’s performance and saying how much he enjoyed working with the Chinese industry, Cage added: ?I hope that we will see more Chinese actors in American cinema too. We do see Gong Li, Zhang Ziyi and Chow Yun Fat, but it?s very rare to see the Chinese male actor in Hollywood movies, which is something I take great umbrage with. You know, my son is Asian. He may want to direct one day; he may want to be an actor like his father — and I want that to be open to him. So I want to make some kind of effort to see more of that happen in Hollywood.?
Cage?s wife Alice Kim is Korean-American. He said their 8-year-old son, Kal-El (named after Superman’s birth name on planet Krypton), came along with him to China.
?He was here with me for the first few weeks, but he had to go back to the States to go back to school,” he said. “Selfishly, I wanted him to stay with me the whole time, but the teachers said he had to go back to school, so he went home.”
Outcast is the first film Cage ? whose filmography spans some 75 films ? has shot in China. He described the experience as positive and noted that he has “no doubt” China will soon surpass North America to become the world’s largest film market, as many analysts have forecasted.
The film is a co-production between China’s Yunnan Film Group and U.S.-Australian outfit Arclight Films.
?I do want to come back, and I want to work with a Chinese director and Chinese actors,? Cage said. ?If there?s something that makes sense for a white guy like me, I?d like to do that here in China.?
He said he views Tony Leung (In the Mood for Love, Lust, Caution) as one of the world?s great actors.
?I would like to make a movie with Tony, but I don?t know how to do it,? he said. ?I want to do it.?
Last month Cage attended China?s Huading Awards, an awards show that honors talent across all categories of the arts. At the time he told The Hollywood Reporter that he hopes to soon move to Hong Kong.
He reiterated that desire in the CCTV interview, saying, ?One of my goals is to have a base near mainland China. I think Hong Kong would be a good match for me. I like being in Hong Kong.?
Near the end of the segment, CCTV?s anchor gently challenged Cage on his recent filmography, noting that some critics have questioned his choice of projects.
?You can?t make your choices based on what critics think. You have to make your choices based on what?s honest for you,? Cage replied.
He added: “I can?t let it bother me. I?m happy. I?m making movies I want to make. Something is working.”

Right? Nic comes across as a nice, decent guy here. I do wonder about his insistence on moving to Hong Kong though? it feels sort of like a complicated tax dodge? The IRS knows where Nicolas Cage lives, so maybe he is thinking of setting up a homebase outside of the US. I hear Ireland is the newest corporate tax dodger haven, but I?m not sure if it?s the same deal for individuals. As for Nic?s love of Tony Leung? well, I mean, who doesn?t love Tony Leung? And of course it goes without saying that Nic is dead-right about the lack of substantive parts for Asian and Asian-American actors in Hollywood.

Working together as sisters is the most rewarding part of having a line together. There are times when we disagree, but we all respect each other's opinions and ideas. No one has the final say. We have equal input on every piece and will always brainstorm until we've come up with something that we all love in the end. We do have a two against one rule. If two sisters feel very strongly about a design or trend we want to try, we go for it."
