Dolled up and looking fabulous, Kendra Wilkinson stepped out to promote Ab Cuts in New York City on Friday (May 6).
The ?Kendra? star showed off her rockin? body in a super tight red dress and happily posed for pictures during the media session.
Now that Kendra doesn?t have "Dancing With the Stars" dance practice anymore, she is concentrating on writing a second book, a follow-up to her first ?Sliding Into Home.?
She told press, ?I am writing a second book. So I'll be everywhere! My new book will be about being a mom, it's the continuation of book number one.?
?This book is definitely more fun to write than my first one because it's just all about what I think today, not telling a story about the past,? Wilkinson added.

First of all, I’d like to apologize that we didn’t have a Hot Guy Friday this week. Both Kaiser and I are burnt out doing it every week, and while it is a nice stress reliever on one side, on the other it takes hours to do that post. You’d be surprised how much effort it is, and Kaiser does the bulk of it and doesn’t complain. This was basically my idea after the Royal Wedding last Friday and the insanity that was the Met Gala earlier this week. We’re bringing it back next Friday and HGF will be on an every-other-Friday schedule from then on, just to give ourselves a break. Plus we were running out of guys to do every week. Anyway check out the archives for HGF, they go back a few months and they should help you get this image of Vin Diesel’s robot arms out of your head. In no way am I suggesting this guy as a substitute for HGF, unless you’re into that, and in that case bless you.
So here’s Vin Diesel in all his bald-headed roided glory on the cover of Men’s Fitness. I’ll admit this made me bust out laughing. It’s the look on his face, which is supposed to be serious and kick-ass but just falls flat. Unlike Vin’s costar The Rock, he doesn’t make a bald head sexy and his muscles make him look more like some kind of centaur. Like don’t you expect to scroll down and see that no-neck torso attached to a non-human body?
Inside, Diesel talk about how he used to work as a bouncer in New York and how he first got super fit because “you have to decide at a young age whether you’re going to be predator or prey.” Unlike past Men’s Fitness cover boys, he doesn’t have a specific program he touts but just says he loves to mountain bike and that he switches up his routine to fit whatever character he’s playing. Here are some quotes from his interview:
On being predator or prey
“When you grow up in New York City, you have to decide at a young age whether you’re going to be predator or prey,” he says. “Especially growing up at that time in the city, especially being a little homeboy, especially when you were trying to f*#@ every girl int he city.”
On being a bouncer in his late teens and twenties
“I learned so much in bouncing that I bring to these characters. You have to be able to read people. Speak with a New York City cop, and they talk about having to read people. Bouncing is like that but without the badge and the law. You’re a gunslinger for hire, basically. And you learn a lot in that field of work.”
On being in fights as a bouncer
“I must have been in more than 500 fights. I fought every night, and I bounced for nine or 10 years. And these weren’t pretty fights.”
How he trains for each character
These days, when it comes to staying in fighting shape, Diesel’s workout schedule is strictly dictated by his next role. Practicing a physical type of method acting, Diesel always commits to realistically re-creating the body and attributes his character would possess. If that means staying away form the iron and packing on a few pounds for a project, such as the 2006 movie Find Me Guilty (in which Vin plays an out-of-shape gangster who defends himself at trial), so be it. “I don’t do a service to myself if I succumb to serious powerlifting,” he says. “I have to be somewhat mindful of being typecast. I want to be the character and not just look built.” [For that movie] “It was ‘eat lots of ic cream and get as fat as you can.’ After being so fir from a young age, it was bizarre - and liberating.”
“When I do a role like Riddick, I don’t want to look boxy. I want to be pantherlike, I want to be agile. I have to do yoga or Pilates because I’m trying to get a completely different movement with my body.”
On his future as an actor
“I don’t really give a sh*t about my everyday stock. It’s not going to improve my self esteem. I just want to knock each role out of the park.”

Well I find him surprisingly likable in that interview. He seems like a smart, together guy and I like his “whatever” attitude toward his career. The dude stays off the gossip radar too, you can say that for him. We’ve heard that he didn’t want to do press for his films and that he made out with Paris Hilton at some point eons ago, but that’s it. I think I remember reading that he had a baby too at some point in 2008, but that was all so vague and we didn’t hear much about it. He keeps his stuff under wraps, but not his big old arms. Those things are like two big slabs of meat hanging out. But I have to admit he’s growing on me a little.

As for Sparkles, he looked tired but nice. For the photo call, he and Reese actually had to interact with an elephant, and I think the ellie took a whiz on Sparkles, so? yeah. He has a reason to look slightly unkempt. But still? he?s kind of prettier than Reese, right?

Alicia Keys is on the cover of Essence Magazine next month, and she looks so pretty with understated hair and makeup and her hair slicked back. Alicia is of course married to music producer Swizz Beatz, who unceremoniously dumped his then-wife for Alicia back when they first started cheating together. (Read this article for background on that, Swizz’s ex wife described how she was still sleeping with him, how they had an eight month old daughter, and how Alicia and Swizz were carrying on behind her back for months together.) Swizz and Alicia have a seven month old son, Egypt. Swizz also has another child with the woman he was with before his last wife, and he has an illegitimate baby daughter with a young British singer, whom he refuses to support in any way. Plus, he owes millions in back taxes. A real winner of a guy to have kids with. But according to Swizz’s wife and fourth baby mama Alicia, everything is going so great that she can relax and feel open. Good for her I guess.
On love: “Falling in love is such a force, but this is a whole other level of magic…”
On music, marriage and motherhood: “I was very closed for a long time. But I feel so open now. To feel open like this means you’ve found the center in yourself. You’re not hiding; you’re not worried about anything. Everything’s going to be just fine.”
On dedicating a song to her mom: “In the past, I’ve written mostly from my own perspective. But I just wrote a song for my next album that was inspired by a conversation I had with a man who was expressing how indebted he feels to God. He said, ‘I owe God.’ Now, what an interesting thought. I really love what she said about dedicating that song to her mother. It’s a nice message ahead of Mother’s Day - which reminds me that I have some gift shopping to do before Sunday!
That said, Alicia has told both Swizz’s ex wife’s son and his daughter with that singer to call her “umi,” which means mom in Arabic. (This is according to Swizz’s ex wife.) So I don’t have much regard for Alicia. She’s pretty much pulling a LeAnn Rimes without tweeting about it incessantly. Now Alicia has let her guard down with a guy who cheats and gets other women pregnant regularly. It’s just a matter of time before it happens to her, because men like that do not change.

I get that not everybody is as obsessed with figuring out January Jones? baby-daddy secrets of doom, but I AM. I think this whole situation is rather fascinating, because I?ve long held a pretty low opinion of January as a person, and this ?choice? that she?s making to withhold the name of the baby-daddy and become a single mother? well, it just feels like there?s something more to it. Something dirtier. Definitely something dirtier than just the easy explanation of her ex, Jason Sudeikis.
What surprises me is that the tabloids aren?t all over it - she?s a pretty actress, a red carpet Fashion Girl, in a hit TV show and she?s making her way into more and more films. Why are the tabloids not all over this? Some restrained sense of decency? Yeah, right. It?s more likely that they?re not all over this because no one is talking. January has this secret locked down! Which makes me respect her a little bit. Anyway, here?s one of the few stories I could find in this week?s tabloids:
Paging Maury Povich! January Jones has announced her pregnancy but has yet to reveal her baby?s daddy. According to a friend, January is in her second trimester, and says that odds are that SNL star Jason Sudeikis is the father, as the math adds up.
?They broke up in the beginning of the year, so unless January strayed, Jason is probably the dad,? the pal explains. But in the past year, she?s also dated Jeremy Piven, Adrien Brody and a mystery producer, says an insider.
Regardless, ?January is keeping the baby with or without a man,? her friend adds. ?She?s 33 and ready to be a mom.?

Jennifer Aniston promoted her new perfume at Sephora in New York City yesterday in a strategically-cut Vivienne Westwood dress that showed off her “peek-a-boo cleavage.” I’ve done the whole peek-a-boo cleavage thing myself, and to be honest, the other ladies I was playing with didn’t seem to be enjoying it all. Patty-cake cleavage was also not a big hit. The arresting officer said it was technically misdemeanor sexual assault and that anything I said could be used against me in a court of law. I guess it’s probably best that I saved the itsy-bitsy-spider cleavage for at home in front of the mirror.

This was a cute little story in the National Enquirer this week which was supported by some comments that Travolta made about his love of shopping at the ubiquitous discount chain Walmart. Travolta enjoys getting bargains and he even recently enthused about how he enjoys buying people presents, particularly clothes, from Walmart. Travolta says that his family (presumably his wife and their 10 year-old daughter) love the dresses he bought for them. So this means Travolta is buying dresses for his women at Walmart. This seems strange to me for a few reasons, but it also cracks me up.
“John has no problem dropping millions on private jets and fabulous vacations for his wife and kids, but that doesn’t mean he won’t try to save a buck when he can,” an insider told The Enquirer.
“He’s a regular at the local Walmart near his Ocala, FL mansion. Not only does he buy his clothes there, but he even buys gifts for his family.
“John’s extended family cracks up on holidays because they know their presents will come from Walmart or Target. And they actually think it’s adorable because he tries so hard to find the perfect gift.”
Travolta explained to a reporter: “As far as Walmart’s concerned, you can get Christmas presents that are just unbelievable. I bought some of my family dresses from Walmart, and it was their favorite clothing.”

That’s so funny! This strikes me as one of those occasions where the giver, particularly a guy, is way more enthusiastic about the present than the receiver, but it’s still a nice gesture. It doesn’t matter how much the stuff costs, it’s the thought that counts. This kind of humanizes Travolta for me. You can tell he gets a thrill out of buying dresses.
A lot of you have told me that you avoid Walmart because it’s this huge chain that pushes out local businesses that can’t compete and forces suppliers to lower prices to survive. I get that, and I do feel some guilt when I shop there. When it’s the only place in town you can get an item you’re kind of stuck. Also, the bargains can be really good there and it’s hard to resist. I haven’t had great luck with everyday clothes at Walmart although I have found some decent workout gear, t-shirts and sleepwear there. Target has nicer clothes but the cut and quality has been off for some of the stuff I’ve found there and I would rather shop at a discount supplier like TJ Maxx or Marshalls.

In the past year, a few stories have indicated that Tara Reid has fallen off the sobriety wagon in a very spectacular way despite a 2009 rehab stint that was supposed to put her back on track to a career “comeback.” While I don’t think that Tara’s presumptive sobriety was ever a ruse like, say, Linnocent’s continued vodka-in-a-Red-Bull-can antics, Tara obviously enjoys partying far too much to give up drinking for any extended measure of time. Indeed, she’s a party girl for life:
It seems nothing — and we mean nothing — can ruin a good time for party girl extraordinaire Tara Reid. According to an eyewitness at the Oasis Beach Club in India, Alkif., on April 14, Tara, 35, was having a ball when one of her front teeth popped out. Instead of calling it a night, “Tara got on her hands and knees and searched the floor,” says the witness, “and when she found it, she pulled out some glue, glued it back in and just continued partying!”

Ugh, that’s really gross, even though it was probably a cap that popped out of her mouth instead of an actual tooth. Did she bother to wash it off before gluing it back into place? Probably not, but it’s probably safe to say that, in the grand scheme of things, gluing an unwashed cap back into her mouth is probably one of her less-risky behaviors, healthwise. It’s rather sad that Tara is 35 years old and still bouncing off the walls, (figuratively) hanging from chandeliers, and showing her panties and nips like there’s no tomorrow. Maybe she’s depressed that she stars only in direct-to-DVD movies now, but she’s not exactly doing anything that would make anyone take her more seriously than “that girl from American Pie.” Party on, Tara.

USA Today has a great interview with Angelina Jolie and Jack Black, who are promoting their work in Kung Fu Panda 2. Since I don?t have kids, I can?t speak with any real knowledge about how much or how little kids liked the first Kung Fu Panda movie, but I?ve seen parts of it on television, and it looked pretty cute. Jack Black?s voice work is stellar, and it?s hilarious to me that Dustin Hoffman was playing ?The Master? or whatever. Anyway, Angelina and Jack have an easy chemistry together, and it?s a great read. You can read the whole thing here, at USA Today, and here are some highlights:
Jolie talks about her kids coming to the recording studio when she did her voice work: “They know when Mommy’s funny and when Mommy’s not funny? They’ll sit in a room and say, ‘That’s just not funny?? [it kept me] competitive, even if they think Jack Black is always cooler than Mom.”
Jack Black?s kids don?t know he?s Po the Panda: “The kids just think Kung Fu Panda is an actual bear? But we act out our own scenes, go on our own adventures. The story gets a little disjointed; we usually forget our mission by the time we get in the living room. But we don’t care. I’m learning my kids are funnier than I am.”
Jolie hates her voice: “You know, when you hear your own voice, you can find it quite boring and uninteresting? Suddenly, you get very shy that your voice is not enough, because I’m not musical and I don’t know my voice.”
Jolie on meeting Black 7 years ago for Shark Tale: “I was crazy about him? I had seen him in everything he’d done, but what I really knew him for was music. I don’t have musical talent, so I always thought it was really cool that he could be an actor to a lot of us but equally a rock star.?
Black on meeting Jolie: “When I first met Angie, I was clearly taken aback by her beauty. She has a powerful presence.”
Jolie on showing the kids an early print of KFP 2, which deals with adoption and Po finding his birth father: “I wondered how they’d respond to the themes of the film? [Brad and I were] sensitive to see if there was going to be a big discussion that night about adoption and orphanages.” There wasn’t. “But that’s because we talk about those issues at my house all the time, very openly. We’ve had those discussions so often, they’re such happy, wonderful discussions.”

Angelina also tells USA Today that Empress Zahara ?loves tigers? so Z is the one most into Jolie?s voice work as Tigress. I think the other kids like Po more - obviously, because Po is much cooler and funnier. There?s also a lot of stuff about how the first KFP was a HUGE international hit, and how they?re trying to do something different with the story this time. I?m sure it will work out - these animated films usually do, especially when there?s a built-in audience of kids who watch the first DVD obsessively.

Millions of women, including myself, have endured pregancy with the indispensible help of a little book called What to Expect When You’re Expecting. In fact, I’d suspect that purhasing this book (or borrowing it from a friend) is one of the first things that pregnant women do after freaking out over a positive pregnancy test. The bestseller is a very matter-of-fact guide to what’s going on at all stages of gestation and even includes some rather icky post-natal discussions; it does not mince words, and it is not a lovey-dovey, narrative-styled piece of literature. Naturally, Hollywood wants to ruin the book by lifting the title (for name recognition purposes) and adapting it into a form of romantic comedy starring none other than Cameron Diaz. This piece of news comes from Deadline’s Mike Fleming, whose sources are usually right on the money:
Nothing’s official yet, but I’m expecting Cameron Diaz to have a deal shortly to star in Lionsgate’s What to Expect When You’re Expecting, the Kirk Jones-directed romantic comedy adaptation of Heidi Murkoff’s bestselling how-to manual. The pic has a script by Heather Hach and Shauna Cross. Phoenix Pictures’ Mike Medavoy, Arnie Messer and David Thwaites are producing, and Doug McKay is co-producer. Murkoff and husband Erik Murkoff are exec producers with Alan Nevins. The idea is to take a book that has sold north of 16 million copies, and turn into a pic in the vein of Love Actually, where five couples experience the surprises that happen when a stork visit is imminent.
Diaz just started production today alongside Colin Firth in Gambit, the Michael Hoffman-directed caper comedy that was scripted by Joel and Ethan Coen. Shooting on What To Expect When You’re Expecting will begin in July. Diaz is repped by CAA and Rick Yorn.

What’s even worse than the retooling of the book’s subject matter into a nonrecognizable, episodic, mushy series of pre-birth marriage proposals and (inevitably) someone giving birth in the back seat of a cab is the fact that we’re going to have to watch Cameron Diaz freak out when her water breaks. The notion of Diaz giving a believable performance as a pregnant woman is completely laughable, which is partially her fault by giving all of those “soundbite”-styled interviews about how she loves her life more than the idea of having children and thinks marriage a dying institution. While Diaz will be acting like a pregnant woman in this movie, will it seem even remotely authentic to the target audience, who presumably enjoys the thought of having children and also feels a lot differently about marriage than Cameron seems to do? And don’t even get me started on how annoying her screams will sound in a birth scene.

In Touch Weekly has an odd story this week about how Jessica Biel has finally found a spine and she?s finally cut off contact with Justin Timberlake. Apparently, after Justin and Jessica broke up, Justin still wanted to maintain a friendly relationship, but Biel wasn?t having it:
They spent almost four years together, but in the weeks since their breakup, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have gone from friendly exes to barely speaking.
After ending things in March, Justin hoped to stay on good terms with Jess, but she recently changed her number and cut him off completely.
?He wanted to stay friends,? says a pal of the exes, but ?it was too much for her, so she cut off all contact.?
Justin is still friendly with exes like Cameron Diaz and Britney Spears. ?He still cares about Jessica and doesn?t understand why she stopped talking to him,? says a friend.

If this is true, it?s my hope that Biel cut him off because Justin is a douchey cheater and she?s finally found the strength to move on from a relationship in which she came out looking kind of clingy, needy and pathetic for putting up with his stupidity for so long. I might also buy that Justin is the kind of guy who likes to keep exes around, just for freebie ex sex. Gross.
Meanwhile, this week?s National Enquirer has Jessica Biel trying to rub on Bradley Cooper, a hookup that I fully endorse. Bradley and Biel are kind of perfect for each other, romantically (if you buy that) or beard-wise (if you buy that). The Enquirer claims that Biel has ?had a crush? on Bradley since they worked together on The A-Team, and that she recently invited Bradley to go on a hike with her, and Bradley agreed to go ?when they can work out a time.? Which makes it sound like he?s not all over it. This might also perturb Jennifer Aniston, who is reportedly trying to get some B. Coop action as well, and The Enquirer?s source claims ?Bradley loves that two of the hottest actresses in Hollywood are playing tug-of-war over him.? Gross.

I know a lot of you are going to be like “who?” when you read that title, but this story had a lot of elements that I found aspirational, particularly the house porn along with the thought of dating a hot Australian chef. Lindsay is seeing a gorgeous man with an accent who cooks and she just moved into his amazing house. What could be better than that?
Lindsay, 34, is a television actress and you might know her from Lipstick Jungle or Eastwick. She last dated How I Met Your Mother’s Josh Radnor. Curtis, 35, is a celebrity chef who appeared on Celebrity Apprentice last year and is a judge on the new show America’s Next Top Restaurant. He also has a line of kitchen accessories and has written a bunch of cookbooks.
Well, it sounds like Lindsay and Curtis are settling in together nicely after being set up by a mutual friend just over a year ago. She moved into his house and April and says that he’s always cooking something tasty.
Celebrity chef Curtis Stone and actress Lindsay Price are making a big move together! Thirteen months ago, “We got set up,” he admits. “A mutual friend… said we should hang out, so we gave it a shot.” The two hit it off so well, they are now shacking up in a a $3.1 million Hollywood Hills mansion, Star has learned!
In late April, Lindsay was spotted unloading boxes at the 4,300-square-foot digs, which has six bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms - and a kitchen fit for a top chef. “We eat pretty simply, but we eat a lot of seafood,” says Curtis, 35, host of Top Chef Masters and a judge on America’s Next Great Restaurant. Adds Lindsay, 34: “He’s one of those chefs who loves to cook… We’re never without something great going on.”

I saw the first episode of The Voice last week, and if anyone needs a “poker face,” it’s Christina Aguilera. She regularly makes expressions to show her disappointment when a contestant is revealed as less than svelte or somehow non-traditional looking. She generally comes across as a superficial person, and seems much less nurturing than the other judges, particularly Blake Shelton. (Shelton has apologized for his anti-gay remarks on Twitter, which he explains were a rewrite of a Shania Twain song.)
As part of the show, the judges pick a team of singers (after the “blind” auditions) and coach them to compete with other teams. It sounds like it was during one of the mentoring sessions that Christina went off on Lady Gaga in a scene that had to be cut from the show.
Christina was unable to contain her feelings [about Lady Gaga] during a recent taping of “The Voice” - and began blatantly bragging about how much more entertaining she is than Gaga.
“Christina told a contestant she was 10 times better than Gaga, said her rival was annoying - and expressed her amazement that Gaga ever got famous,” disclosed a set insider.
“It caused quite a scene, and producers insisted on reshooting the segment.”
Christina has had other shocking outbursts, and she has become extremely unpopular with show staffers. One describes her as “a bitter person with an ax to grind about everything,” adding that the singer’s cursing requires that her on-camera comments be heavily edited.
“She’s like a bitter old woman trapped in a 30 year-old’s body!” said the insider.

I believe this. Back in 2009, someone asked Christina if she thought Lady Gaga was copying her, and she denied knowing who Gaga was in an hilariously bitchy way. “I’m not quite sure who this person is, to be honest. I don?t know if it is a man or a woman. I just wasn?t sure. I really don?t spend any time on the Internet.” Lady Gaga in turn called the comparisons to Aguilera flattering and said she should send her flowers.
Two years later and Gaga is all over the place with hit singles, touring and raking in the dough while Aguilera’s last CD was a big flop and she’s forgetting the words to the National Anthem. I could see Aguilera going off on Gaga. It’s just a shame that producers decided to cut those scenes, because the show could have received even more buzz. I’m surprised we haven’t heard more stories about how Christina is drunk and/or generally wreaking havoc behind the scenes.

There?s quite a bit of Photoshopping, of course, but it just kills me that even after all of the crack shenanigans, all of the drinking, and coking, and crack thievery and jail and rehab, it kills me that Linnocent is still so photogenic in formal photography. In candids, you can see her drastic aging and her lifestyle all over her bloated crack face, but in portrait and fashion photography, with good lighting and hair and makeup, the crackhead still looks good. Ugh.
In other Linnocent news, the last I head was that she would likely get to serve her 120-day jail sentence in some kind of electric-monitored house arrest situation. It is unknown if the electronic monitor will just be for ?location? or if it would also monitor Linnocent?s drug and alcohol usage. Speaking of Linnocent still being a raging alcohol who pours vodka into her Red Bull, Star Magazine has another interview with Keith Middlebrook, the producer dude who claimed that he briefly paid Linnocent?s hotel and liquor bills:
Hell hath no fury like a sugar daddy scorned! In our May 2 issue, movie producer Keith Middlebrook told Star he witnessed Lindsay Lohan drinking Red Bull and vodka at the Chateau Marmont, despite her being fresh out of rehab. Lindsay insisted she was sober, but Middlebrook says otherwise.
?That?s a complete and outrageous lie - I paid for the drinks,? he told us. He has now provided Star with evidence of his relationship with Lindsay - hundreds of revealing text messages. Middlebrook is known for helping friends get out of legal trouble, which he believes made him a prime target for the troubled actress.
Keith told Star: ?She said, ?Keep me out of jail, and I will have sex with you.? Whether she was joking or not, she made that promise because she is desperate.?
Lindsay?s pals also demanded he wire $30,000 to her bank account and fly her to London, according to the text messages.
Middlebrook refused to fork over any cash until Lindsay committed to his new film, Escaping the Game, which she never did.
?I was warned that Lindsay was a liar, but I did not realize how pathological she is,? he says. ?She played me like a piano.?

Adding a brand new member to her burgeoning family, Emma Bunton has given birth to her second child - a baby boy!
The former Spice Girls star was admitted to hospital on Thursday (May 5) while welcoming her son named Tate on Friday morning (May 6).
Bunton's publicist confirmed the joyous news - adding that her fiance, Jade Jones, was present at the birth of the 7lb. bundle of joy.
Taking to her Twitter shortly after the pregnancy was complete, Bunton gushed, "Our beautiful son Tate has arrived safe and sound! We are all so happy and excited. Thanks and love to you all."

Back in the day, I used to love to read feminist theory for fun. It was how I relaxed, and to this day, if I come upon a good essay about feminist iconography and/or art, I will sit back and enjoy it. Eventually, I came to my own sense of what feminism meant to me: the freedom of every woman to make their own personal, professional, social, economic, educational, sexual and reproductive choices for themselves. Will I (and others) judge some of those choices? Sure. But judgment isn?t the same as barring, banning, censoring or criminalizing those choices. I bring this up because Julia Roberts has said something that needs defending (sort of). She was asked about her now subdued work schedule, and she defended her right to stay at home with her kids:
Julia Roberts is quite alright working less and spending more time at home. In an interview with Access Hollywood, the 43-year-old wife and mom says she has no “mom guilt.”
“Nope,” she says, explaining that she’s scaled back the amount of work she now takes on. “I felt I earned the right to stay home and be home and get super selective about what I wanted to do work wise.”
Roberts, who has been married to cameraman Daniel Moder since 2002, has three children — Henry, 3 and twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 6. Part of her time at home includes cooking for her family, but she has a few conditions when she’s in the kitchen.
“I have a steadfast rule that I run a kitchen, not a diner,” she says. “So I just make one meal? I try to be healthy, but listen, I love myself some bacon! So I have to cook what I think we’re all going to enjoy.. But I try to make it as healthy as possible.”

In truth, EVERY woman has earned the right to make their own decisions about work-versus-motherhood, but I understand Julia?s mentality when she says “I felt I earned the right to stay home and be home and get super selective about what I wanted to do work wise.” She?s saying (in my mind) that she spent the better part of two decades building a career and working quite a bit, and thus she?s ?earned? the right to leave Hollywood for years at a time. But does Julia know that even women who haven?t ?earned? it like she has, that those women take time off too? And is there judgment for those ladies who don?t take a career timeout? Sigh? we?ll never get an answer to those questions.

In other Aniston news, I got a chance to read the full Star Magazine cover story this week, the one where her brief 2008 lover Brian Buomo tells Star all about Jennifer?s hopes, dreams aspirations and her future. Now that I?ve read the whole thing? it?s really sketchy. I don?t know any straight man who speaks of his heterosexual ex-lover the way Brian talks about Aniston. Brian and Aniston only dated for, like, a month, and the way he talks about her? well, I?m a conspiracy theorist, you know. Here are a few ?WTF?? lines from the interview:
?Jen approached me? I was only on the set for seven hours, but the old quote says it best, ?She had me at hello!? I had a huge crush on her? it was impossible not to! After all, she?s certainly not hard to look at, and when you combine that with her smarts, her intelligence and her sweet nature? I just let my guard down and was open to letting her in.?
?I?m one-hundred percent sure she?ll make a great parent! She is a smart, intelligent women who knows what she?s doing.?

I want her to be happy, and I think she is. She?s a lovely, smart woman and a fabulous person!?
?She did tell me that I was too Mr. Pure. This makes smile and laugh still to this day. It was fun. But we were not meant for each other. Jen and I had a moment in time, period.?

*Aniston or someone in her PR team wrote this junk for Brian, and he just said to make a quick buck from Star, and from Aniston.
*He?s totes gay, and HE is the one who is truly fabulous, and he was just helping a sister out. FABULOUS!!!
*He?s straight, and his relationship with Aniston consisted of reading self-help books together and building up each other?s self-esteem (Brian: ?You?re so pretty!? Aniston: ?You deserve love, you are amazing!?). This 2008 relationship was the last time Brian ever had that kind of happiness.
*It?s all some kind of drunken scheme by Aniston and/or Chelsea Handler?? It probably made more sense in Cabo, when they were doing shooters with the cabana boys.

Having arrived in the Land Down Under the previous day, Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon got their Australian promotions underway in Sydney on Friday (May 6).
Joined by a giant elephant friend, the "Twilight" heartthrob and his "Legally Blonde" actress co-star cheerfully posed alongside one another at a "Water For Elephants" press conference held at Luna Park.
With Rob and Reese having made the trip to Australia after a multi-stop tour through Europe, Pattinson spoke about how he had to overcome his fear of the circus to take on the role.
"The first time I went to a circus, one of the clowns died," he said. "He had a joke car and it exploded."
The 24-year-old English actor added, "It was terrifying.... And that's the only time I've ever been to the circus."

Gracing the hit FOX show with her much-awaited performance, Jennifer Lopez was the center of attention during Top 5 night on "American Idol" on Thursday (May 5).
The 41-year-old superstar took the stage to perform her new single "On The Floor" while joined by rapper Pitbull, who kicked things off as he worked his way through the audience.
Receiving quite the ovation, J. Lo rocked a silver-hued two-piece ensemble that glistened under the "Idol" lights as she joined alongside eight professional dancers while belting out her hit single.
Once finished up and changed to her regular judging duty garb, Lopez also debuted the video her new single, "I?m Into You," which features Lil' Wayne.
As for the contestants, tonight's "Idol" saw contender Jacob Lusk sent packing after his not-so-well received rendition of Chris Brown and Jordin Sparks? ?No Air?.

Cameron Diaz is in the new issue of Cosmopolitan (which includes 4 fab new vibrators and how they work) making fantastical claims. Like the one where she says she gets better as she ages. I guess this is what old people like to tell themselves.
“I think you get better as you age. You know what you want, and you become stronger mentally, emotionally and physically,” she tells Cosmopolitan’s June issue. “But also, things have happened recently that have pushed me to grow. My father died, and having gone through that really made me think about my life and how I want to live it.”

Hoping to make a few sales during the Mother's Day holiday, Jennifer Aniston turned up for perfume promotions in New York City on Thursday (May 5).
The former "Friends" star brightened up the Big Apple streets in a strapless red dress as she arrived at Sephora for the fan meet and greet session.
The new scent, called Aniston, is described as "evoking memories of sunny days at the beach and happy summer nights" while including "light, blooming floral notes set against a sensual base of musk and woods."
Of her perfume offering, Jen previously said, "I wanted this fragrance to be a personal library of scent memories. For example, my love of night blooming jasmine has lasted a lifetime. Growing up in California, I distinctly remember the scent of jasmine on summer evenings. I consider the scent of the ocean to be one of life's most uplifting sensual experiences.
