Here is Christina Aguilera showing off her amazing post-baby body while stepping out for the Drake Vs. Lil Wayne concert at the Bowl last night with friends, and the singer held on tight to her pals on the way out of the venue to make sure she didn’t take a tumble.
This the one of the rare times that Christina and Matthew has been spotted since the birth of their baby girl Summer Rain, who was born last month.

It?s no secret that she has flawless skin, and Katie Holmes has just been named the latest spokesperson for Olay skincare.
During her photo shoot, the ?Dawson?s Creek? dame explained that her Toledo, Ohio roots had something to do with her initial interest in the brand.
?It?s an Ohio company, so it feels like home to be working with them. They really mean something to women. I remember buying Olay in high school because I wanted to look pretty.?
Holmes also shared that in order to ?feel beautiful on the inside and the outside? she drinks plenty of water, maintains a regular exercise regimen and uses Olay?s Regenerist cream cleanser.

I?ve always sort of liked Jacqueline Bisset, but after reading this interview with her? I think it?s comparable to how I feel about Helen Mirren. Helen Mirren is fabulous, strong, beautiful? and she says wacky and sometimes offensive things in interviews. Maybe it?s that women of a certain age have difficulty explaining their complicated views on sexuality and equality and such? Perhaps. Anyway, Bisset is 70 years old and she has some thoughts about feminism and ladies? issues.
Bisset on aging: ?Shine a light on an oil painting from the front and it looks wonderful. Shine a light on it from the side and it looks really craggy and peculiar. That’s the way I feel about my face now. It is craggy, and I’m both proud of that and scared by it. As an actress you can try and hang on to your image by being lit very carefully – and end up looking amazingly young. But obviously I’m never going to ask for that. In life. I suppose I’m afraid of being discounted. And there are times now when I feel completely invisible in the street.”
On feminism: “Women are becoming so tough. I have never fully embraced feminism. I certainly thought it had some good points, but?” But women whinge too much nowadays? “Well I don’t know, but I think they probably do. Then again, women take on too much so of course they whinge, because they’re absolutely exhausted. That’s our mistake, always wanting to be perfect.”
She?s ?rebellious?? “When I met the first man I had a real relationship with, other women would ask: ‘Why do you do everything for him when you’re not married?’ When I explained that I liked to take care of him, they would say: ‘Marry someone rich, then you won’t have to do that.’ What a peculiar idea! Never for one second was that my goal. But maybe that’s because I’m a rebellious type.”
Beauty, attraction, romance: ” Girls today are so attractive and sexy, and they show themselves off in such an obvious way, so men feel that they are in a sweet shop. The flip side of that is that women see themselves as interchangeable. I feel that this obsession to be ‘hot’ is more prevalent than it ever was in my youth. It’s not ‘I want to be charming and magical and romantic and beautiful’. It’s ‘I want to be hot’. In other words: ‘I want men to want to screw me.’ Desperation, isn’t it? Because they don’t really want to deal with the results and often end up feeling used. I went through a period like that. When I dressed and behaved in a certain way, I couldn’t handle the results: it didn’t take me where I wanted to be. So I started to be more low-key and I got better relationships as a consequence.”

Well? that?s interesting. I guess. It should be noted that she didn?t start to use the word ?whinge? (in America, we would say ?whine?) until the interviewer provided her with that opening. She?s right about some things, like women wanting to be perfect and women wanting it all, etc. But she?s also giving us some Get Off My Lawn Realness when she?s talking about ladies today wanting to be ?hot? and that leading to men using them or whatever that argument is. Maybe she should have thought harder about becoming a feminist?
PS? Fun fact: Bisset is Angelina Jolie?s godmother. Bisset was close friends with Angie?s mom Marcheline Bertrand. Bisset and Jolie are reportedly still close.

Here are some photos from last night?s Fall Gala for the New York City Ballet. Sarah Jessica Parker has been a huge supporter of the NYC Ballet for years, and she?s usually one of the biggest names at all of their galas, which she has chaired since 2012. SJP currently serves as vice chair of the NYCB Board of Directors aw well. She usually brings some interesting/notable fashion too, but this year? well, there are issues. Don?t get me wrong, this Mary Katrantzou Fall 2014 gown is ?notable.? Notably TERRIBLE.
I guess I sort of get the idea of wearing something long-sleeved. I also get the idea of wearing something that looks like a walking art piece. But the execution of this gown really sucks, right? It?s not flattering on SJP?s figure, it looks poorly tailored, there?s too much fabric generally and then the actual design is bad. Ugh! Something nice: I like that SJP has gone brunette.
Other photos? Ivanka Trump looked fantastic, although I think the dress should be a few inches longer. Ivanka?s husband Jared is cute too.
And Wendi Deng-Murdoch was there. Her dress sucked too.

Sarah Silverman and Michael Sheen have been dating since February. They met on the MoS set, and Kaiser thinks Sarah was terribly miscast. Sarah joked in the Emmys press room about how the show’s creator had her in mind, and when she started hitting it with Sheen, “it really solidified it. Or maybe not.”
Speaking of miscast roles, Dustin Rowles at Pajiba points out that Sheen has always dated out of his league. He has dated Emmy Rossum, Kate Beckinsale, Rachel McAdams, and more. He and Rachel dated for over two years and (probably) broke up because he fears marriage. Good news: Sarah feels the same way about getting hitched. Star ran a story last week about how she wanted to pull Sheen down the aisle. Sarah tweeted, “Just read that I wanna get married which is hilarious b/c I will never get married.” She then added, “Why would I want the govt involved in my love life? Ew. It’s barbaric.”
Sarah visited Howard Stern on Tuesday. Howard decided to push the marriage issue because that’s what he does. He also asked how she deals with Sheen’s relationship with Beckinsale (they have an 8-year-old daughter together). Sarah handles the questions well:
How she takes her medical marijuana: “Edible pot is a real commitment. [The vape pen] is great! I can just take a little puff. I don’t drink, or anything, so it’s just like having a glass of wine. I’m a lightweight. I buy some stuff and it lasts me six months.”
She’s not jealous of Beckinsale: “I love her. She’s hilarious… She’s really cool. They’re really funny together.”
Does she feel weird about Michael’s stunning exes?: “No it’s more like, ‘Look at all these beautiful women and he loves me.’ It’s more like that, like ‘Wow!’”
How does someone make a lifetime committment & not marry? “Just be in love everyday! I’m 43, and I still don’t feel ready.”
How about kids? “I have always been baby crazy … I’m going through such a crisis in that way because my whole life I’ve been like, ‘Ah, I’m not ready, I’m not ready, I love kids but someday’ and now it’s like, ‘I’m 43? and I still don’t feel ready! It’s such a huge decision. How do people make this decision so fast like it’s nothing? It’s your whole life!”

If I was a guest on Howard’s show, and he started asking me how I felt compared to my boyfriend’s stunning exes … it wouldn’t be pretty. That’s Howard though. He can’t resist asking slightly offensive questions. Sarah is gorgeous too. I think because she’s a comedian, people tend to not think of her as “pretty.” She goes for the shock-reaction with a lot of her jokes. Anyway, I think Sarah and Sheen are well-matched if neither one of them wants to marry. If she really wants a baby, then she’d better get on that at age 43. My guess is that she doesn’t really want one.

Considering how often Jessica Seinfeld comes out to talk about how people really and truly love Gwyneth Paltrow, I think it?s safe to say that Goop has not been handling the Martin-Lawrence situation very well. Bedhead points out that some of the official-ish articles about Martin-Lawrence have sounded suspiciously sourced from Team Goop too. So, should we take Team Goop stuff with a grain of salt? I don?t know. I actually believe that Jennifer Lawrence isn?t spending any time with Chris and Gwyneth?s kids. Why would she? And if that?s not enough, there?s a general sense of unease in Goopworld. I really do wonder what Gwyneth is stage-managing behind the scenes. The Daily Mail/Grazia has an interesting claim about just that:
They might have consciously uncoupled, but it seems Gwyneth Paltrow is still making sure she has a significant place in Chris Martin’s life. That is if reports surrounding the separated couple are true, that claim Gwyneth has drawn up a schedule to ensure Chris spends enough time with her and their children.
Sources also claim that while the 41-year old actress is happy with the Coldplay star dating Jennifer Lawrence, she is ‘uncompromising with the amount of time she expects him to spend with their family’.
A source allegedly told Grazia UK: ‘She’s drawn up a rota to balance his time living life as a bachelor and seeing Jennifer with honouring their many family commitments.’
They say Chris, 37, is ‘torn’ that Gwyneth has this much power over him, even though she was the one who ended their marriage.
‘Gwyneth still has a lot of control over him, which isn’t exactly desirable to prospective girlfriends,’ the source tells the magazine. ‘The way things are at the moment, no sane person would want to be an accessory to their conscious uncoupling.’
The so-called ‘rota’ clearly hasn’t put Jennifer, 24, off as she watched Chris perform at the iHeart Festival in Las Vegas over the weekend, and the couple arrived back in Los Angeles on a private jet together.

So Chris Martin is henpecked by his estranged wife and he needed her to make a schedule and time table to get him to spend time with their children? I don?t doubt it, actually. I think the ?rota? is probably more like a temporary child custody agreement, because Gwyneth and Chris?s ?enlightened? conscious uncoupling is so much better than the average peasanty child custody agreements. But with Gwyneth and Chris?s ?enlightened? agreements and rotas and their living arrangements and how involved Gwyneth still is in his life, how is any of this appealing to J-Law? I?m really asking. This seems like a lot of trouble for her. I mean, she?s a beautiful Oscar-winning 24-year-old. She could easily find a boyfriend who isn?t being haunted by a Goop Ghost.

Well, this is going to be sort of interesting. Over the weekend, Colin Farrell confirmed his casting in Season 2 of True Detective. His casting had been long-rumored and there weren?t strong feelings for or against him, you know? Some people were happy, some people were like ?Meh.? What?s weird is that the most bizarre name thrown into the ?casting rumor? jungle has come to fruition though: Vince Vaughn is going to have a major role in Season 2.
It’s finally official: Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn will star in True Detective season two. HBO made the announcement today, Sept. 23.
Justin Lin, who recently helmed the Scorpion pilot, will direct the first two episodes of the eight-episode second season. Production will begin later this fall in California. The official logline from HBO: “Three police officers and a career criminal must navigate a web of conspiracy in the aftermath of a murder.”
Creator Nic Pizzolatto is once again penning the HBO series.
Farrell will play Ray Velcoro, a “compromised detective” who is torn between a corrupt police department and the mobster who “owns him.” Vaughn will take on the role of Frank Semyon, described as a career criminal who may lose his empire after his attempts to move into legitimate business are upset by the murder of a business partner.
Still missing? Two other police officers, including a female lead. Mad Men Star Elisabeth Moss is said to be in the running. Other news outlets have named Jessica Biel and Rachel McAdams as potential stars as well. The Killing’s Michelle Forbes may be involved as well. And then there’s Taylor Kitsch, who was reportedly up for a role at the same time Farrell’s name first surfaced. HBO said more casting will be announced as its confirmed, so don’t consider the Friday Night Lights veteran out of the running just yet.

So, Vince Vaughn is playing the ?career criminal,? at least that?s what it seems like. We still have to find out the male actor and female actor playing the other two cops. I have to admit? I probably would have bought Vince as a down-on-his-luck dirty cop type, but I actually think he?ll be better as a career criminal-type. What always bugged me about Vince Vaughn?s career is that he managed to convince people that he was a leading man. He?s not really. He?s a character actor and he should have been doing more character-driven ensembles this whole time.
Oh, and now that Vince has been confirmed, I?m really, really hoping that Elisabeth Moss is coming on board. Moss just signed on to that ?Rather-gate? movie starring Cate Blanchett and Robert Redford though. Huh. Well, if it?s not Moss? just anyone but Jessica Biel. Please.

She is overseas working the runways, but Kendall Jenner is still standing up for her right to vote in the United States.
On Tuesday (September 23), the 18-year-old beauty teamed up with Rock the Vote and shared a video asking her generation to get registered before the November midterm elections.
?I?m here in Europe for fashion week, but back in the U.S. it is National Voter Registration Day and I?m using Rock the Vote?s new mobile registration tool to register to vote and you can too,? Kendall explained in the clip.
She finished off the video asking everyone to register ?so our generation?s voice can be heard this fall.?
