I was going to write about Britney Spears talking about her ?tour diet? which involves McDonalds Happy Meals but then I actually heard her voice in this Entertainment Tonight interview. OMG. Granted, it?s been a while since I actually listened to her speak naturally, but I didn?t realize how much her whole vibe had changed. She?s a lot more alert nowadays, and she talks fast with a weird, half-froggy, half-little-girl voice:
Maybe it?s only crazy to me, but I remember when Britney?s voice sounded so different than this! I?m shook. Anyway, she did talk to ET about her tour diet, saying:
This round of shows that we are doing on tour, they are back to back, so each show is like I dont have time apart, besides flying. My show is a workout in itself. It really keeps you strongSometimes Im just like, I want a hamburger! but when Im in work mode, I want [to eat] very clean. I want clean chicken and veggies thats it. My stomach is so sensitive, if I have a steak, I will be sick for three days. The burger is fine, but I have the small burgers from McDonalds. The happy meal!

As I get older, I find that red meat upsets my stomach more and more as well. I only really crave red meat when I?m PMSing, so maybe that?s why I feel like hell anyway, regardless of the steak or hamburger. My guess is that Britney?s the same she grew up on fried food and rich, heavy, Southern food, but her stomach has changed over the years, and she likes cleaner, simpler food. Plus, I?m guessing she?s still on an assortment of medications, and they might upset her stomach too.
Also, how do we feel about her latest boyfriend, Sam Asghari? He?s cute.

Is anyone else completely baffled by the AT&T/Time Warner deal? I keep reading that people say it?s purely a content/distribution deal but then the next news articles says it will absolutely affect our cable and satellite packages. All I know is most subscribers are nervous about it. One person who is excited is Reese Witherspoon who has successfully turned her production company, Hello Sunshine, into a real power player within the industry. Reese, who is supposedly still set to star with Jennifer Aniston in Apples first series, has just announced she will host a weekly chat show for AT&T called Shine on With Reese. True to her mission with Hello Sunshine, the show will focus on driven and ambitious women and their path to success.
Reese Witherspoon is entering the unscripted territory with a new interview show for AT&T, the company announced on Tuesday.
Witherspoon is the host of ?Shine on With Reese,? a weekly interview show examining the stories of trailblazing women. Among the guests set to appear are singers Dolly Parton, Pink and Kacey Musgraves; Sprinkles founder Candace Nelson; poet Cleo Wade; ?Superstore? actress America Ferrara; and author/activist Glennon Doyle.
?I am thrilled to have such like-minded, creative collaborators at AT&T to help Hello Sunshine pursue our mission of elevating and showcasing the voices of women that we have such admiration and respect for,? Witherspoon said in a statement. ?I am so excited for the world to experience the stories from our partnership with AT&T, which are set to be equal parts entertaining, inspiring, thought-provoking and unabashedly real.?
?AT&T was one of our first partners in the quest to bring female-centric storytelling to the forefront and we are especially proud of how these original series push that mission ahead,? said Hello Sunshine CEO Sarah Harden. ?We?re looking forward to working with AT&T to develop more opportunities for women to see themselves and their stories reflected in entertainment.?

According to the article, the show will air on a brand new, on-demand channel that will be women-centric and fly under the Hello Sunshine banner. I don?t know, I find the idea of a major media house fully endorsing women-centric content among their first big announcements kind of exciting. It might be a baby step, but at least it?s one in the right direction.
In the interest of optimism, which is in sparse supply these days, I won?t start nitpicking this idea? not too much, at least. Looking at the guest sampling listed, aside from America and Cleo, it?s pretty monochromatic. But, it is only a sampling. I really hope this has a true cross section of all women. On a completely personal note, I like Reese as an actress, but I don?t find her interesting in interviews. I?m having trouble getting excited about her as an interview host. It a skill that not many people have. I hope she has Oprah on speed dial.

I know who Cheryl Burke is but I don?t know much about her. I?m only qualifying that because I was just reading up on her for this story and oh my gosh, the poor woman has been through so much in the past year. It sounds like a real roller coaster, which made me appreciate this story even more. Last year, Cheryl was asked to replace Abby Lee Miller on Dance Moms after Abby walked off the set. Not only was Cheryl thrown into the situation, she had to undo all the emotional damage Abby had inflicted on the poor girls. In March, Cheryl announced she was going to take a hiatus from social media to deal with some ?personal things.? Unfortunately, what she was dealing with was the death of her father, Stephen Burke. Cheryl and her father, who lived in Thailand, had only reconnected within the past decade. Cheryl, who was two years-old when he left, felt abandoned by Stephen. Very soon after he split from Cheryls mom, Stephen began a relationship and had another daughter, Ina. Cheryl knew Ina existed but did not meet her until after Stephen passed:
With my father's passing came a lot of darkness but there was also a lot of light I found my sister who I had never known. We recently met for the first time and it was such a surreal experience to walk into a room to meet and walk out feeling like we had known each other forever. In her I see the same drive and passion that our dad had and there?s clearly a major family resemblance. It may have taken 30 years to find each other, but I am so excited to have another sister for life ?

Emily Blunt is a lovely woman, who has had her hits and misses on the red carpet. I don?t know about you, but I think she added another look to the ?hit? column on Monday night. Emily served as host for the American Institute for Stuttering 12th annual gala at Guastavinos in New York City. She channeled classic Hollywood glam in a vintage-inspired dress from Christian Dior?s Resort 2019 collection.
The simple cap-sleeved, A-line dress featured a white polka dot sheer tulle overlay with delicate floral appliques in black. She accessorized with dramatic drop earrings from Lorraine Schwartz and strappy sandals by Gianvito Rossi. She framed her face with a halo braid, which showed off her natural makeup palette.
Emily?s handsome hubby, John Krasinski, was also in attendance, complementing his wife?s look with a dark suit and tie. I love that guy, but I wish he wasn?t still hanging on to that facial hair. He?s so cute when he?s clean-shaven. Just my two cents.
The evening served as a pre-anniversary date night for the couple, who celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary yesterday. They were married in 2010 in Como, Italy and are the proud parents to two daughters Hazel, 4, andViolet, who turned 2 last week.
I don?t know about you, but I love this look maybe because it looks like something a non-celebrity like myself could get away with (the cheap, knock-off version of it. Wardrobe-wise, I have Dior tastes and an H&M budget). The dress is so delicate and pretty. I also like the updo and think it was a wise choice to forego a necklace and let those earrings make a statement. I?ve said it before and I?ll say it again, John and Emily are such a cute couple. I?m hoping they share the screen again in the near future.
