Back in April, we talked about how January Jones was going stir-crazy in lockdown in California. January had been using her Instagram to show how she had been not-so-quietly going bonkers. While California has eased up on some restrictions, I think January and her son are probably still in a state of some kind of lockdown and it?s amazing. Her Instagram is hilarious. So the latest thing is that January loves baths. She loved baths before the lockdown and she often talked about her various DIY bath ?stews,? which previously involved baking soda, salt and vinegar. YIKES! But now she?s trying something else for her baths: beer.
It seems like January Jones, 42, has been experimenting with new bath ingredients lately, revealing on Tuesday night that she decided to pour in a bit of beer after reading up on how beauty icon Cleopatra bathed.
?I put a lot of questionable things in [the tub], and I?m gonna put one more questionable thing in it,? she said in an Instagram video. ?I?m doing that because I feel like it?s going to be hydrating for my body,? Jones added, pouring in a dash of the drink and saving the rest to sip. ?And I recently read about what Cleopatra would put in her baths. I just feel like, depending on who you?ve dated, it can?t be that much different, right??
The beer bath marked the end of what Jones called her ?four-step process to lift your mood and get skin right,? which began with the actress laying in her closet with sparkly eye makeup and layers of jewelry before applying a slew of skincare products by True Botanicals and taking a sip of beer before drawing the bath.

I?m not going to get into the science of whether or not beer would be good for your skin in a bathing situation because I honestly don?t know, and I honestly don?t care. My issue is with the smell even if you?re only putting a negligible amount of beer in your bath, you?d still be able to smell it, right? Think about when you?ve spilled a little beer on your shirt or something you smell it all night long. That pungent stale-beer smell hangs around. Now imagine that on your body for hours after your bath. Gross. Also: Egyptian beer in Cleopatra?s day would have been different, right? I fully expect beer historians to come into the comments and yell at me! I?m looking forward to it!!
At some point we also have to talk about how January is from South Dakota and she basically has a regional Minnesota accent.

Jennifer Lawrence is far from the only A-lister who openly enjoys sh-tty reality programming, although J-Law might be the most vocal. There are tons of A-list celebrities who admit to enjoying The Bachelor/Bachelorette franchises. And like J-Law, there are tons of celebrities who love the Bravo reality programming, from the Real Housewives to the spinoff shows, like Vanderpump Rules. Vanderpump Rules follows the comings and goings of the staff of SUR and Pump, the popular restaurants owned by Lisa Vanderpump and her husband. I would say that the show is trash, but I?ve honestly never sat down and watched more than a few minutes. I do know that Rihanna loves it and Jennifer Lawrence loves it too. They both worship Lisa Vanderpump. And as it turns out, January Jones is also a mega-fan. January is such a fan, she wanted to have her 40th birthday party at Pump. Only no one would call her back.
As a proud watcher of Vanderpump Rules, January has visited Lisa Vanderpump?s restaurants. The Mad Men alum even tried to have her 40th birthday bash at Pump earlier this year, but they totally rejected her ? despite having an in with Bravo?s Andy Cohen. And, no, she didn?t stand for that.
?I had my 40th birthday this year and I called Pump to try to do my party there,? Jones, whose birthday was Jan. 5, tells Yahoo Lifestyle. ?No one called me back.? So she stepped up her game. ?My publicist called. My best friend called. We called and called and called and called,? she continues. ?It was over the holidays, but still. No one responded.?
And it wasn?t a voicemail-into-the-abyss situation. She actually spoke to humans. ?One time I called, I got a girl and she?s like: ?We?ll call you back.? Nothing. I called back again, no response.? She even texted Cohen, king of the Real Housewives, and got the general manager?s number, but ?the guy wouldn?t call me back.?
Needless to say, a gal can?t wait forever. She had to move on. But she made sure they were aware that they made a mistake.
?Around New Year?s, I was going out to dinner and I said: ?You know what, I?m going into Pump,? she recalls with a laugh. ?I walked in there and I was like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. I was like: ?Tried to call ya. Guess what: I?m not having my birthday party here. Big mistake. Big. Huge.? That got some attention for sure. ?They were like, ?What? I?m so sorry. OMG. We can arrange it.? I said: ?Too late. Already having it at a different venue.? So I was like peeved at them,? she says.
After suggesting that maybe they should throw her an epic half birthday in July for free, Jones agreed that?d be a good idea. ?Yes, they owe me,? she laughs. ?So to answer your question, yes, I?ve been to Pump many times, and Sur, but way before [Vanderpump Rules started to air in 2013]. And, yeah, I tried to have a birthday party there.?

Is this what Vanderpump Rules is like? If so, I would watch it. I would watch it if an entire season was devoted to Pump staffers ghosting January Jones, then being told off by January Jones, then trying to make it up to January Jones by giving her a free ?half-birthday? party in July. I would watch the sh-t out of that. But I don?t think that?s what the show is? I?m pretty sure the show is mostly about how they?re moving a lot of ?pasta? out of those restaurants.
Anyway, poor January. She?s probably not considered A-list anymore, but she?s a very solid B-list and if she wanted to have her birthday party at Pump, they should have called her back! I hate rude restaurant people.

Did January Jones lose her style mojo? Because this is the second awards show in a row where she has looked absolutely terrible. January wore this Schiaparelli couture gown which? I mean, come on. It?s dated ? it looks like a (bad) gown from the 1950s. It?s bridesmaid-y, also from a 1950s wedding. It?s poorly designed and unflattering. And so now I?m wondering? does January?s stylist hate her?
Kiernan Shipka in Erdem. I love this and I love her. Such a cutie.
Jessica Pare in Kaufman Franco. Why does this annoy me so much? I think it?s because Pare annoys me as an actress, and I?m annoyed that she came to the SAGs when she was barely in the last season of Mad Men, and she?s trying to wring the last drops of attention out of this gig. Also, the dress is taffeta, right? SO BAD.
Julie Bowen in Kaufman Franco. Julie either doesn?t care about the red carpet or she does care and has zero clue about how to style herself. This look is more boring than bad. Zzzz?
Much like Kate Winslet, Sofia Vergara just sticks to same two or three silhouettes and I?m kind of fine with that. She knows what looks good on her body and she?s not adventurous. It happens. So, for Sofia?s ?style rut? fashion, I?m okay with this hot-pink Vera Wang. It?s a good version of something we?ve seen on Sofia many times before. I even like the pop of that statement necklace.

For real question: why does January Jones look so bow-legged in these photos? And why does this shade of green not translate well in still photos? When January walked onto the Emmys red carpet last night, the green popped. It looked rich. It looked amazing. But in these photos, it seems sort of flat! Ugh. And I totally thought she was wearing a full gown, not a jumpsuit, but here we are. The jumpsuit is by Ulyana Sergeenko. I?m going to make the leap and say that this works, her styling is on-point and her Resting Bitchface is life-affirming. I guess the explanation for the bow-legged look is that she?s standing with her legs too far apart and the fabric drapes in a weird way. I also have to say: with her hair like this, she really does give me Grace Kelly vibes.
God, I just love her RBF. It’s amazing.
January happily posed with Elisabeth Moss on the red carpet, one last Mad Men reunion. Both women decided to go for some bold colors, although I think Moss didn?t even come close to pulling off this Oscar de la Renta dress. She?s cute, she?s talented as hell, but she might need to make her peace with the fact that she?s not a Fashion Girl. And that?s fine! She doesn?t need to be a Fashion Girl. But that means? no fuchsia princess dresses. No matching lipstick. Just? NO.

I?ve never been one of those ?January Jones is terribly boring? people. I?ve also never been one of those ?January Jones is the WORST? people. I enjoy her, I really do. I think she brings some icy, vanilla bitchery to celebrity gossip and I think she?s way more scandalous and shady than most people realize. I think part of the problem is that January gives off a cold, bitchy vibe, so ?Icy Bitch January? has become her default persona. So, January was at Comic-Con to promote Last Man on Earth, her Fox show with her lover Will Forte. While at Comic-Con, she ended up at a party hosted by Playboy and the movie Self/less. And January?s resting bitchface made a glorious appearance.

The ?Mad Men? actress showed up to the Parq Restaurant & Nightclub with friends and ?appeared absolutely miserable,? a spy said. ?She was in a really foul mood and sat by herself, chain-smoking an e-cigarette while her friends danced. She was completely disinterested, and no one knew why she was there? among guests Oscar Isaac, Michael B. Jordan, Kendra Wilkinson and Hannibal Buress.

January Jones has been getting lots of press the past few weeks, but there really hasn?t been any big quote or gossip story. She?s just been talking about Mad Men and how sad she is that it?s over. But she?s already got a part on another TV show ? she costars with Will Forte in Last Man on Earth on Fox. And now, according to Us Weekly, January and Will have started dating.
Costar couple! January Jones is dating her fellow Last Man on Earth star Will Forte, Us Weekly can exclusively reveal. A source tells Us Weekly that the Mad Men actress, 37, has been casually dating the Saturday Night Live alum, 44, for a couple of months. “He’s a good guy,” the insider tells Us, adding that the new couple is “having fun.”
Jones, who is the mother to one son Xander, 3, has never been married. She previously dated director Noah Miller, splitting from the Sweetwater writer in January 2013. Her dating history also includes relationships with Jason Sudeikis, Ashton Kutcher, and Josh Groban.
Forte has never been married either, and boasts a surprisingly slim relationship history. In his years of fame, Forte has never stepped out with a confirmed girlfriend.
“I’m kind of under the radar,” Forte told The A.V. Club in 2010. “Not a lot of people notice me. Which is surprising, because I’m so sexy. They’re probably intimidated by my sexiness and crushability.”

Maybe she has a type? SNL guys. After Jason Sudeikis, this is the second SNL guy she?s been with. I like Forte, he seems nice and relatively low-key. He?s made the jump to films and he has a decent range as an actor. If this is on, it will probably be good for both of them. January?s love life has been pretty quiet since she gave birth to Xander too.
I?m including some photos of the various covers and covershoots January has done lately. She?s on the new cover of Marie Claire UK. She?s on the cover of Rhapsody Magazine. She did a shoot with Violet Gray, the online magazine (you can see more photos here). She?s such a beauty and the camera loves her (but she?s not a great actress). She?s smart to sign on to another TV show though, because TV is where she?s found her greatest career success.

Trying out a whole new look, January Jones got all dolled up in glam rocker apparel as she made her rounds in New York City on Thursday (March 27).
The ?Anger Management? hottie went heavy on the makeup with orange eyeshadow, black eyeliner and bright red lipstick, teamed with a sassy updo, studded jeans, and Louis Vuitton metal tip ankle boots.
Meanwhile, January?s ?Mad Men? costar Jon Hamm isn?t holding out hope that Don and Betty Draper will get back together before the series concludes.
Hamm noted, ?I think some of us know where our characters are going to be.I don?t think any of us know what the scope or the entire body of the show is going to be. The way the show doles out information and tells the story is very oblique sometimes and I think that when people become really invested in the show they try to fill in the blanks.?
