Taking a break from her busy morning show schedule, Kelly Ripa headed to Los Cabos, Mexico for a little R&R on Saturday (January 18).
Showing off her toned and trim bod, the "Live! with Kelly and Michael" host wore a teeny green bikini as she and hubby Mark Consuelos helped celebrate Matt Bomer's boyfriend Simon Hall's birthday.
Recently, the 42-year-old star and her co-host joined in on a new internet trend called "Riccing" after Christina Ricci appeared on the show earlier this week.
Poking fun at the actress's photos of herself squeezing into a refrigerator and dryer, the pair decided to try it out themselves.
Squeezing under her vanity, Ms. Ripa wrote, "Kelly fits in tiny places! #Riccing under her desk. Christina Ricci." Meanwhile, the former NFL star did his best by lifting a coffee table over his head with the caption, "Look who else fits in tiny places!! Lol Michael #Riccing under a table. #ChristinaRicci."

| Sofia Vergara and the ladies of Modern Family at the SAGs: same old or gorgeous? | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

When people who are just casual gossip consumers see Sofia Vergara on the red carpet, they link “holy crap she looks amazing,” and she does. Sofia Vergara knocks it out of the park, almost the same way, in every gown. She practically wears the same gown for every awards ceremony: sweetheart neckline, full skirt, solid color fabric or solid color sequins. It’s hard to shade Sofia Vergara for looking gorgeous, but I would just love to see her mix it up. This silver Donna Karan looks similar to her Golden Globes after party Zac Posen gown. Still, I feel petty for pointing it out when she looks this good.
As much as Sofia stays in her comfort zone, her co-star and friend, Julie Bowen, mixes it up. Julie was in this fashion-forward Carolina Hererra, with a pointed burnt orange bustline, visible stitching, and a line-print skirt. I thought this gown was the perfect mix of modern and classic. It was interesting without being strange. Julie told Giuliana Rancic that her dress was “gorgeous but it?s funky,” and Giuliana of course said she loved it. I’m surprised this is Hererra, because I remember her designs on Renee Zellweger for years, and Renee’s dresses were very staid. Maybe that was just Zellweger’s taste.
Ariel Winter, 15, was in blue white and black Badgley Mischka. I’m so sorry to say this about such a young girl, but the first thing I noticed were her boobs! When Modern Family won for comedy ensemble (the fourth year in a row!), Bowen started off their acceptance speech by saying “we’re going to make Sofia talk because America loves her and her boobs.” When she said that I got confused about whom she was referring to, because Bowen was standing right next to Ariel Winter. I’m sorry! And I’m sorry to my friends who have teenage daughters.
Oh, and I found it ridiculous when Sofia said “I can’t barely speak English” during her speech. She needs to lose that shtick. They should have let Ty Burrell do the honors since he gave such an awesome funny speech when he finally won for male actor in a comedy series.
Sarah Hyland, 23, was in a kind of boring bell-shaped pale Pamela Roland gown. There were a lot of neutral solids on the red carpet last night, and Bedhead will be doing more for you shortly. At least Hyland’s styling was much better than we saw at the Globes, where she had giant dark eyebrows. At the SAGs, she had lovely sideswept hair and flattering makeup.

| Matthew McConaughey & Camila Alves: worst-dressed couple of the SAGs? | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

This post is devoted to the big couples of the SAG Awards, better known as ?the men are famous and they didn?t pose separately from their wives, so we might as well talk about the wives too.? Let?s start with Matthew McConaughey & Camila Alves. Camila wore vintage Donna Karan atelier. I?m sorry, but this color looks like baby poop/vomit. SHINY baby vomit. It?s a pretty enough design ? imagine it in a rich blue, purple or silver. As for Matthew, he wore D&G, like usual (he?s the face of D&G). He was also on something, I think. His speech was crazy and it made me feel queasy and uncomfortable. Dear Academy: please don?t give him an Oscar. PLEASE.
Speaking of hot messes, Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon were in attendance because Mariah has a small part in The Butler. She was falling all over the place, trying to make everything about MARIAH and it was a mess. Her Saint Laurent dress is blah too.
Matt Damon & Luciana. I think Matt has Transitions lenses. RIGHT? Lucy wore Pamella Roland, it?s like a wrinkled wedding gown.
Forest Whitaker and his wife Keisha. She?s so elegant in this Georges Chakra couture.
Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson. I don?t like Rita?s dress at all.
Rupert Friend & Aimee Mullins. Rupert needs to stop with that hair.

| Isla Fisher & a bouquet of white dresses at the SAGs: who wore it best? | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Isla Fisher wore Oscar de la Renta at the SAGs last night and positively killed it on the red carpet. I always wished Isla became a bigger star after her well-timed comedy in Wedding Crashers many years ago. Mostly her career has derailed due to some awful role choices, so maybe she’ll make a comeback. This dress is a decent start.
This is one of my favorite looks of the evening. Isla looks fantastic in white, and this satin dress looks like it was made specifically for her body. Her hair rolls in glamourous waves, and that red lipstick is perfect. Isla accessorized with a Ferragamo clutch and Bulgari jewels. My absolute favorite part of this look is a mere detail: that emerald/diamond wrap bracelet. Stunning.
Sarah Paulson went all cutesey in a white, ruffly Rochas gown. This is far too much pouf and petticoat for the red carpet. Poor Sarah looks like a 1950s debutante in such a dress. I guess that was the point? Sarah accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewels. I do dig the bobbed haircut. She pulls it off very well. The hot Pink lipstick though? Way too precious.
Elisabeth Rohm wore Marchesa, and I’m amazed because I actually like this dress. It’s a little bit bridal but still cool. This dress hugs in all the right places, and the usual Marchesa lacy details come together like they never have until now. Elisabeth’s hair and makeup are done but yet undone, and the messy updo is perfection.
Hannah Simone wore … you guessed it. Now this is the Marchesa I know and hate so well. This dress got all of the feathers and looks like a bridemaid’s dress from hell.
Gretchen Mol was on hand for Boardwalk Empire. She used to be an “it” girl, remember? Gretchen wore J. Mendel with Kwiat jewels. This was a pretty bland look except for the leg slit. At least it wasn’t Marchesa.

| Jennifer Garner in black Max Mara at the SAGs: boring or beautiful? | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Jennifer Garner was a presenter at last night’s SAGs, where her film Dallas Buyer’s Club was up for outstanding cast performance in a drama. (That went to American Hustle.) She managed to seem happy and perky, as is her default setting, and in direct contrast to her grump of a husband. The camera panned to Ben Affleck a couple times and I swear he looked sleepy and high. When it came time for Ben to present outstanding cast, he looked pissed off and bored that he wasn’t up for anything this year. The guy needs to put on his game face.
As far as Garner’s Max Mara gown, it was underwhelming to me, as was her styling. Her updo looked very pretty from some angles, but I would have loved to see her with loose hair. She’s got some new bangs she probably wanted swept up. Garner told Giuliana that she tried on two dresses, both by Max Mara, and ended up with this one. I’m not found of the rounded bustline or the very classic style. I feel like we’ve seen her in this before.
Here’s a photo of Garner and Affleck outside the Chateau Marmot SAG after party last night.
Here’s Julia Louis-Dreyfus, working a blue and black color block Monique Lhullier gown with one shoulder strap. She looks incredible and I love the volume in her hair. Louis-Dreyfus was both a presenter and a winner, and she gave a very clever and funny speech. When she took home the statue for lead actress in a comedy, she acted like she was receiving a Golden Globe, then “corrected” herself and made a reference to the Academy Awards. She called for help from her Veep costar who happened to be standing toward the back of the stage, Matt Walsh, who pulled a sandwich from his pocket and handed it to her.
Later, when Julia was presenting with Don Cheadle, she gave him a backhanded compliment, “congratulations on your nomination.” Funny!
Also nominated in Julia’s category, we have Edie Falco in a bizarre black and white butterfly print mullet gown. I don’t understand how this dress is cut or how it’s tailored and I find the whole thing confusing. Maybe it would work if it were full length without such a complicated hemline. Also, I dislike Edie’s shoes. She does have pretty styling, though.
Finally here’s Jane Krakowski in solid green Roland Mouret. Kelly Osbourne was raving about this dress, and I agree, it looks amazing. I love the modern kind of sci-fi details along the top along with Jane’s impeccable styling. This is another hairstyle I want to steal.

| Juliette Lewis in Vivienne Westwood at the SAGs: stunning or way too wacky? | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|
|
|
|
|
People looked forward to August: Osage County for many reasons, but I for one am glad that it’s brought Juliette Lewis back to the red carpet. She may not be a conventional beauty, but she’s always weird, wacky, and whimsical without falling into the “twee” category. Juliette has a very strong personality, which makes her choice of gowns last night somewhat intimidating. There’s a possible clash of personalities at work here.
Juliette left her usual Zac Posen at home (remember how she wowed at Critics’ Choice last week?) and wore a Vivienne Westwood Gold Label gown instead. This dress looks like a mural! It’s not bad, but Vivienne and Juliette are practically duking it out to see which of them shall come out alive. I love the blue color of the dress and the floral pattern. The draped neckline gives this dress an old-school feel while the fabric makes it look funky too. I want to like this dress, and I think what’s throwing me off is Juliette’s hair. Toss some powder on that head, and she’d look like one of the founding fathers.
Malin Ackerman wore Naeem Khan and looked like she really loved the hell out of this dress. I think it’s pretty gaudy and faux-Egyptian. Katrina Bowden did black and gold well last night, but Malin looks an utter fright in this dress. This is a clear case of the dress wearing the girl.
Portia De Rossi went for basic black in Saint Laurent. This is a good look for Portia, and the backless portion mixes things up and keeps the boring away. I wish she’d grow her hair back out. She looks cute enough with a pixie cut, but I want to see those rolling curls that were so famous in her Ally McBeal days.
Amanda Peet wore a confusing dress with way too much going on at once. Are those flowers? I don’t know. Certainly the striped sheer sleeves, bizarre crochet pattern at the bodice, the twiggy pattern around the midriff, and the iridescent whatever else of the skirt would be enough without flowers. At least she wore her hair back so as not to distract from all that fug.

| Julia Roberts in a pink Valentino jumpsuit at the SAGs: cute or terrible? | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I cannot even begin to tell you how much I loathed Julia Roberts? Valentino jumpsuit. Like, I think this was the SAG look that I hated the most. It wasn?t just that I thought it was unflattering or that I felt sorry for her, which would be my reaction if someone else wore this. I actively hated this on Julia and I hated her a little for choosing it. She?s 46 years old and she chose a bubble-gum-pink Halston-esque jumpsuit?!? It was the wrong style for her body, the color was cloying and way too cutesy and it just did not look good on her at all. She tried to save it with some light, attractive styling, but it just didn?t work. HATED it. Ugh. It was like she watched American Hustle and thought, ?I could do THAT.? Also: I love that Julia keeps losing. But I?ll give her some credit: she?s a gracious loser, for real. She manages to look genuinely happy when Lupita wins. I think Julia will be fine if she loses to Lupita. Julia will not be fine if she loses to Jennifer Lawrence.
And once again, I loved another Oprah look at an awards show. Whoever?s styling Oprah these days is doing a bang-up job, right? Oprah wore this rich purple Badgley Mischka gown which flattered her figure really well. I loved the gigantic brooch too.
And here?s a little Liza Minnelli, just because. It was like she needed people to carry her in.

| Sandra Bullock in Lanvin at the SAGs: striking or green tin foil mess? | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|
|

During E!’s red carpet coverage, we saw Sandra Bullock’s Lanvin dress from a high and side angle and she looked like a million bucks. She had on strappy gold pumps, a gold clutch and sported a strategically messy bun. I just re-watched her interview with Giuliana and she looked amazing. In photos, the dress doesn’t shimmer like it did on camera, and looks more foil-like. It also seems somewhat goofy with that giant side waist bow and huge slit, which wasn’t visible while Sandra was on camera. She wasn’t a presenter or a winner this time, unfortunately, so I felt robbed of a better view of that dress. For me it was a win, though.
Also looking incredible we have Anna Gunn of Breaking Bad ruling the red carpet in blue Monique Lhullier. Check out her cool Breaking Bad clutch! Anna doesn’t always get it right on the red carpet, so I like to see her so triumphant. Breaking Bad won for performance by an ensemble in a drama series, although Anna lost out on female actor in a drama, to Maggie Smith. I noticed that Anna’s partner/date (I don’t have a name for the guy, she’s divorced from her first husband) looked a little like Mr. White and was super supportive and happy when BB won. I wish Anna would get some awards too, she’s a phenomenal actress. I think Skyler doesn’t get enough respect because everyone is rooting for Walt.
Here’s Anna’s co-star, Betsy Brandt, in Alice + Olivia. What is going on with this dress? There were a lot of actresses last night in black dresses with gold embellishments, but this was way too busy and fug. Also Betsy needs to show some respect to her character and wear purple. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her in a purple dress and that’s Marie’s favorite color.
Bonus pics of the amazing Breaking Bad cast celebrating their win. My favorite moment was when Bryan Cranston quipped that the guys on stage were the “greatest bunch of white supremacist nazis I?ve ever worked with.” Oh and Cranston won for best actor in a drama. He gave an awesome speech then too.

| Amy Adams in blue Antonio Berardi at the SAGs: lovely or not that great? | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|
|
|
|
|
You should hear my mother rant about how no one respects Amy Adams and how Amy nevers wins anything and how all of the older actresses need to step aside so Amy can finally win something. I mean, I sort of agree that it?s past time for Amy to be recognized in a major way ? she just picked up her FIFTH Oscar nomination this week and she rarely wins anything. But is it crazy to think that Amy isn?t always on everyone?s radar because she really doesn?t know how to work a red carpet? I know one thing doesn?t have anything to do with the other, but owning a red carpet would definitely help her out with people remembering her and her performance. Instead, Amy usually gets it wrong. Her SAG look was no different.
The good stuff: her pale skin is absolutely flawless, and she just glowed on the red carpet. I also enjoyed the pintucked, retro hair ? it was stiff, but it worked and it made her look like a 1950s movie star, not quite Rita Hayworth? but maybe Loretta Young. The bad stuff: the Antonio Berardi dress. I?m just not feeling it at all. The color was bold and bright but the fabric seemed kind of cheap and the design was just? eh. I really didn?t like this.
And here are the Homeland ladies, who were like non-entities on the red carpet. Morena Baccarin spoke to E!, but I guess Claire came late maybe? Claire wore Vionnet ? I?m not feeling it. But it?s not actively horrible or anything, it just seems like the dress you choose when you don?t care about winning, I guess. Her makeup was too heavy and I?m not loving her darker hair.
Morena wore Monique Lhullier, Sarita Choudhury wore Nanette Lepore. I hate Sarita?s dress and styling ? I love her and how she looks, but this makes her look like a widowed grandmother. Morena is so beautiful and the dress is okay. She talked to E! about her pregnancy and how she gained weight, so I guess she went with a flattering option.

| Cate Blanchett in pale pink Givenchy at the SAGs: fabulous or unflattering? | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

This is the heavy-hitters/Best Actress post! Let?s start with Cate Blanchett, who is pretty close to a sure thing now for the Best Actress Oscar. Cate has picked up the Golden Globe, the Critics Choice, a slew of critics? awards and now the SAG Award for her role in Blue Jasmine. Which means that she has a really, really good shot of picking up her first lead actress Oscar, her second overall (she previously won the Supporting Actress Oscar). And you know what? I?m glad. Cate?s performance in Blue Jasmine was wonderful and funny and awful and brilliant. She deserves all of the acclaim.
As for her gown? she wore Givenchy. As in, Riccardo Tisci designed this. It looks like a maternity gown, right? I think I would have loved this if it was on Kerry Washington, but on slender, elegant Cate, it?s not quite right. I love her in pink, of course, and I like the way she styled it, but the design is just too ?maternity? for her. PS? Cate?s shoe game is great.
And here are Meryl Streep and Emma Thompson, both nominated for Best Actress at the SAGs. I feel like Meryl has made her peace with losing the big awards, so she?s not really bothering to get all dolled up. This frumpy black dress is Stella McCartney ? Meryl wore Stella to the Critics Choice Awards too. Blah, she needs to find a new designer, Stella?s designs are doing nothing for her. Emma wore vintage ? 1930s William something. She also wore FLATS! Louboutin flats, but flats none the less. I love her look. It?s the look of someone who knows she?s going to lose to La Blanchett and she wants to be comfortable yet fabulous.
