This may sound like a dated perspective, but I believe most/many men have strong feelings about women?s hair, and of those men, most of them prefer long hair. I?m not saying a dude is going to divorce you or cheat on you if you have a pixie cut, I?m just saying that if you ask the average straight dude, they?re probably going to say that they prefer long hair on a woman. So, take a gander of this photo (above) of David Beckham and his daughter Harper from a month ago. You can see that Harper?s hair is basically to her waist. That?s because David has put his foot down and refused to allow Posh to cut Harper?s hair. Ever. Harper?s never had a haircut?
Speaking to Yahoo! Style, David Beckham explained: ‘About a year ago, my wife said, “Maybe we should cut Harper’s hair.” And I was like, “No! We need to grow it. Do. Not. Touch.” Since she was born, we haven’t cut it. That’s why it’s pretty much down to her knees.’
David, whose mother Sandra was a hairdresser, also revealed that he sometimes tests his own skills by giving his three sons home buzz cuts, but he wouldn’t dare go near the scissors: ?If I have to use scissors, the boys know not to ask – [my mum] never taught me how to do that.?

I know we?ve already talked about creepy mummy?s boys today, but here?s another version: my late father always had strong views about me keeping my hair long too. He hated it when I cut my hair above my shoulders in college. So, I guess I associate Beckham?s thing with a completely natural dad thing. Dads like their daughters to have long hair. Right? Or is it weird?
In previous interviews, Becks made hearts melt by saying: ?To have a daughter is a whole different story. I’m not saying I love my daughter more, but the boys are independent.? Yeah, he?s not going to say he loves his daughter more, but he totally loves his daughter more. He also says that he?s not ever going to allow Harper to date and she?s going to be ?like Rapunzel – up in the tower.?

If you take a look through our LeAnn Rimes archive, you can see that LeAnn has been uncharacteristically quiet for a few months. Sure, she?s been doing stuff, but I actually think she?s dialed down the drama for a little while. That?s happened before, and it?s usually the calm before some crazy drama-storm. Anyway, these are some photos of LeAnn and Eddie Cibrian at LAX several weeks ago, I just never got around to posting them.
LeAnn is still doing her #ChalkTalk stuff and no one really cares. She?s also been pushing her Christmas album? because it?s September and everybody is like, ?Yay, Christmas music.? Don?t get me wrong, I enjoy Christmas music. But not in September. What else is going on with LeAnn? Well, according to the current issue of Star Magazine, LeAnn and Eddie are thinking about trying to have a baby via surrogacy.
Starting a family has been a struggle for LeAnn Rimes & Eddie Cibrian. They?ve tried everything from IVF and acupuncture to seeking help from celeb naturopath Kimberly Balas, who reportedly helped Gwen Stefani and Jewel get pregnant. And while they haven?t given up hope, LeAnn and Eddie have agreed that if they don?t conceive by Christmas, they?ll start searching for a surrogate.
?Being a stepmother to Eddie?s boys made LeAnn realize she doesn?t have to give birth to her own child to be a mom? it will happen one way or another.?

I do think she wants to have a baby and she?s wanted it for a while. Maybe Eddie isn?t in to it, or maybe he is and they?ve been trying and nothing has happened. I don?t really know and I think it?s weird to speculate on that kind of stuff, except LeAnn and Eddie did open themselves up to the discussion by repeatedly talking about babies and fertility and even making it a plot line in their sad VH1 ?scripted? reality show. So? ugh. All I know is that if LeAnn and Eddie do go for surrogacy, that surrogate should prepare to be Single-White-Female?d by LeAnn for the entire length of the pregnancy.

Hayden Panettiere was a guest on Live! With Kelly and Michael yesterday, where she was promoting her show Nashville on ABC. (Season three premiered last week and is waiting for me on the DVR.) Hayden is married to boxing great Wladimir Klitschko, and the couple welcomed a baby daughter, Kaya, last December. During her pregnancy, Hayden was open about her weight gain, even going into the specific numbers of how much she’d gained. Hayden continues to be open about what she went through immediately following her daughter’s birth, and revealed that she suffered from postpartum depression (PPD). Here’s some of what she said on Live!, thanks to E!:
During an appearance on Live! With Kelly and Michael Monday, the Nashville actress revealed that like her character, Juliette Barnes, she suffered from postpartum depression after the December 2014 birth of her daughter, Kaya Klitschko.
“I can very much relate. It’s something a lot of women experience. When [you are told] about postpartum depression you think it’s ‘I feel negative feelings towards my child; I want to injure or hurt my child.’ I’ve never, ever had those feelings. Some women do,” Hayden said. “But you don’t realize how broad of a spectrum you can really experience that on. It’s something that needs to be talked about. Women need to know that they’re not alone, and that it does heal.”
Regarding the stigma surrounding postpartum depression, Hayden said, “There’s a lot of misunderstanding. There’s a lot of people out there that think that it’s not real, that it’s not true, that it’s something that’s made up in their minds, that ‘Oh, it’s hormones.’ They brush it off. It’s something that’s completely uncontrollable. It’s really painful and it’s really scary and women need a lot of support.”
Hayden, who revealed she hopes to have four kids with fianc Wladimir Klitschko, continued, “Women are amazing. We do something that no man can do on this planet. I mean, we grow a human being in our body!” Speaking of the heavyweight champion, she told the co-hosts, “I would love it if Wlad figured out a way to get pregnant and he could have the baby. We would be going right now, no problem.”
“If he could, would he?” Kelly Ripa asked. “That’s the question.”
“Absolutely. Absolutely,” Hayden assured her. “I asked him this question…He’s going to be like, ‘I can’t believe you told them!’ But when I was pregnant, he did this thing where he would suck in his stomach and then I would put my stomach to his so that he could feel when she was moving?almost like she was in his stomach. He wanted to feel what it was like to have a baby as close to him as it was to me.”

That’s a cute story about her husband trying to feel the baby on his own stomach but it feels really personal. I wonder if he’s ok with her sharing it.
It sounds like Hayden’s postpartum depression was relatively mild, but that she’s admitting this and talking about it anyway. That takes a lot of courage and I appreciate how she explains it. She has such a sunny personality that it’s hard to see her as depressed at all. That could just be her public persona, though. Sometimes the people who suffer from depression are the ones we least expect as it can be a hidden illness.
Hayden said something similar in her US Magazine “25 Things You Don’t Know About” piece. She wrote “I suffered a bit of postpartum depression. You?re not alone or crazy, ladies!” Hayden also revealed that, at 5’2? tall (Google has her at 5’0? while People says she’s 5’2?) “I was 110 pounds before pregnancy and 153 pounds by the time I gave birth!” I can relate to crazy pregnancy weight gain and postpartum depression. I don’t see how anyone can be happy after giving birth and then getting woken up randomly every few hours to care for a newborn, but that’s oversimplifying the situation.

Marion Cotillard covers the October issue of Porter magazine to promote her turn with Michael Fassbender in Macbeth. I’m not really feeling the peasant top on the cover. This is a shame because Marion can wear the heck out of some clothes, but she looks like she’s running through a field, perchance to milk some cows.
The interview isn’t much better, unfortunately, as Marion joins the crowd of ladies who don’t understand feminism. Now, I can respect people who straight up admit they don’t know much about it. Most of the time though, it seems like these women have heard something bad about feminism at some point, and never bothered to research it on their own. Googling is too difficult for some people. Marion says she’s not a feminist because fighting for equality only separates the sexes:
On equality in cinema: “Film-making is not about gender. You cannot ask a president in a film festival like Cannes to have, like, five movies directed by women and five by men.”
She’s not a feminist: “For me, it doesn’t create equality, it creates separation. I mean, I don’t qualify myself as a feminist. We need to fight for women’s rights, but I don’t want to separate women from men. We’re separated already but we’re not made the same and it?s the difference that creates this energy in creation and love. Sometimes in the word feminism there is too much separation.”

I’m nearly out of words for celebrities who don’t understand the meaning of feminism. Publicists should keep the definition in a ready-made kit full of prospective interview questions. This is 2015, and journalists will ask. Some people consider the question a trap, but still, actors and pop stars should always anticipate being quoted on the subject. If they have a well-reasoned explanation for not being a feminist that’s one thing, but there’s no excuse for not even knowing the definition.

The last time anyone paid attention to Kate Hudson?s love life, she had quietly split from Matthew Bellamy and she seemed to be using Derek Hough as her rebound/jumpoff. The first rumors about Kate and Hough were last November/December, and from what I can tell, they were probably dating/fooling around off and on for several months. Apparently, she?s done with Derek. Now she?s getting with? Nick Jonas.
Kate Hudson and Nick Jonas say they’re not dating … but does hooking up count? The 2 were all over the place — together — this weekend, first at Disney World in Orlando and the next day at brunch in Miami.
Kate — who’s 36 — went to Nick’s show at the House of Blues in Orlando Saturday night. Oh, right, he’s 23. It kinda makes sense. She was probably his jam growing up, and she’s still just as hot. The people we spoke with who know them say they’re not dating, but they’ve absolutely hooked up.

He?s like Justin Timberlake without the insane ego and smarm (full disclosure: I?m pretty sure Kate banged Timberlake back in the day as well). So, are you into this as a FWB situation? I kind of like it. I like it just as long as they?re just having fun and getting what they need from each other. If they dress it up as true love, I might have a problem with it. Then again, Kate doesn?t usually play that game. She gets in, hits it and then quits it with no hard feelings. Bless her.
PS… I think Bedhead referenced this in a previous story, but it’s worth repeating because it’s sort of funny: word around the street is that Nick dated Kendall Jenner for a second and then dropped her because she was so boring.

Well, at least we can sleep well knowing that Kaley Cuoco isn?t a total idiot, right? As it turns out, Kaley did have a valid pre-nup. We know because Kaley officially filed for divorce on Monday (after announcing her split on Friday) and she informed the court that she and Ryan had a valid pre-nup in place, signed a month before their December 2013 wedding. Apparently, they already know how they?re splitting up their assets.
Kaley Cuoco has officially called it quits on her marriage to Ryan Sweeting. The Big Bang Theory actress cited irreconcilable differences in divorce documents obtained by Us Weekly on Monday, Sept. 28. According to the filing, the couple?s date of separation is listed as Sept. 3. Cuoco, 29, and Sweeting, 28, who were only married for 21 months, had a prenuptial agreement. Both spousal support and property assets, according to the documents, were agreed upon in their prenup, one month before they said ?I do? on Dec. 31, 2013.
Cuoco, who had taken her husband?s last name, is also requesting her name be restored to Kaley Christine Cuoco.
Cuoco, for her part, has remained in high spirits despite the end of their relationship. With her gal pals by her side, she dined at The Village in L.A.’s Studio City neighborhood Friday night and three days after Us confirmed their plans to divorce, Cuoco was all smiles on Sunday, Sept. 27, at the Bryan Bros. Tennis Festival in Camarillo, Calif.

Kaley is currently the highest paid actress on TV ? she inked a deal last year that will see her rolling in dough for years to come, and I really do believe she makes more than Sofia Vergara now (given Kaley?s profit-sharing on TBBT, etc). So? I?m glad she got a pre-nup and I?m glad she?s using it. I feel like Kaley has a good team of agents/lawyers around her and they probably insisted on it, and good for them. I wonder what Ryan walks away with? My guess is his car and maybe a modest cast settlement (like, $200,000).
