Just when she thought she was in the clear, Lindsay Lohan may still have to deal with drama from the Riverside District Attorney stemming from an alleged incident with Dawn Holland, a former Betty Ford Clinic worker.
According to Owen McIntosh, Holland?s new attorney, ?As far as I know the Riverside District Attorney?s investigation is still ongoing.?
He continued, ?They briefly spoke with my client last week but we have not heard anything more from them relating to any charges them may or may not be pursuing.?
"As far as I am concerned the real issue here is that Betty Ford has ?dropped the ball? as far as my client is concerned with this case. I have put in around six calls to their insurance carrier Sedgewick CMS and have yet to have a response regarding my client?s workers compensation claim which is ridiculous. She is living off temporary disability benefits just now while they are stalling about the ?cause and scope? of her work at Betty Ford at the time of the incident.?

Seeking out the perfect place for her daughter to grow, Halle Berry was out school hunting in Hollywood, California on Wednesday (January 26).
The Oscar winning actress made her way over to ABC Little School for a staff-guided tour of the facility as she decides where to send her little girl, Nahla Aubry.
The outing comes as Miss Berry continues to be courted by Aretha Franklin - who desperately wants Halle to portray her in a movie based on her life.
Relaying the message through Wendy Williams via letter, the Queen of Soul wrote, "Many actors have portrayed vocalists by lip-synching to the artist's original recordings. I would have liked Halle Berry to portray the older Aretha in the upcoming biopic of my life based on my memoir 'Aretha: From These Roots,'"

Lakshmi and Dell share custody of their 11-month-old daughter Krishna Thea, but Adam is unhappy with the current setup.
A source close to the situation told press, "Adam wanted to avoid going to court, but it was so frustrating trying to find a co-parenting agreement [that] he had to take this action. He's seeking sole custody of his daughter ? but he's hoping for a shared custody agreement."
And Adam?s lawyer Bill Zabel added, "Adam is not seeking publicity. He's a private person. There was no desire for publicity and Adam regrets that there is some ? but [he] can't help it given that he was forced to go to court to assert his rights as a father."

Yesterday, there was a big dinner held by Vogue Paris, in honor of Carine Roitfeld. Fashion girls Jessica Alba, Diane Kruger and Kate Moss were all there. Alba and Kruger both wore Gucci, and both looked very different. I completely and totally adore this grey-blue dress on Alba, honestly. This is one of the best dresses she?s ever worn, right up there with the Versace she wore to the 2006 Oscars. Alba can be hit-or-miss - I get the feeling that she still isn?t sure what silhouettes look best on her, and she usually has a color problem - in that she doesn?t wear a ton of color on red carpets. But I LOVE this dress on her. Also, since I?m getting grandiose, I just wanted to point out one of the finest examples of Alba Bitchface EVER. This is how Alba looks when she gets to sit next to Kate Moss:
As for Diane - people are saying this dress is Gucci, so I?ll buy it. To me it looks too fussy to be Gucci, but whatever. This is definitely her style - Diane likes dresses with lots of detailing, which can get very fussy. Somehow, it usually works on her, though. I like this dress, but I don?t love it.

They hosted a family party at a London hotel on Monday after jetting from Los Angeles to celebrate.
Muse frontman Matt, 32, and Kate, 31, confirmed last week they were expecting a baby.
A source said: “It was an intimate party. They kept their engagement secret as they wanted to celebrate with their nearest and dearest before it became public knowledge.”
Kate’s mum, actress Goldie Hawn, 65, is already in the UK and presented a gong at the British Comedy Awards on Saturday night.
Recently she revealed her delight at becoming a grandmother again. Goldie said: “I’m excited – happy for them both.”
Kate has a son, Ryder, seven, from a previous marriage to Black Crowes singer CHRIS ROBINSON.
Who knows where this all will end. Maybe the ultimate groupie goal would be to have kids by enough different musicians so that your kids can form their own band. They could call themselves The Offspring. Oh crap.

Well if it’s true - congratulations. People like to point out that Hudson flits from man to man, but maybe she just hasn’t found the right guy since splitting with her first husband in 2007. Who am I kidding? She’ll be married a few more times in her life. She won’t rival Liz Taylor, since Liz was working on her fifth husband at Kate’s age, but she’ll on numbers three and four in less than a decade. Hope she gets a prenup with this one.

This is the real reason Jesse James?s engagement to Kat Von D sucks so hard - it has nothing to do with Kat being a psycho, or Jesse being a womanizing douche, or even how much sympathy we have for Sandra Bullock. It has everything to do with Jesse?s kids, and how Sandra Bullock tried to be a great step-mother, and how screwed up those kids are going to be when Kat gets her hands on them. According to PopEater, Sandra Bullock is trying to prepare 6-year-old Sunny for her new step-mom. Well? at least Sandra still gets to spend time with Sunny?? Ugh. What an awful situation.
Now that Sandra Bullock’s cheating ex, Jesse James, is engaged to Kat Von D and getting remarried as early as next month, the actress has the heartbreaking task of preparing her beloved stepdaughter, Sunny, for another mommy in her life.
“Sandra loves Sunny with all her heart and will always be in her life. However, she also knows that [Sunny] will have a new mommy soon and will do whatever she needs to do to make sure Jesse’s new wife and Sunny have a great relationship even if that means taking a step away,” a friend of the actress tells me.
Jesse was granted full custody of 6-year-old Sunny while he was still married to Sandra after her mother, former porn star Janine Lindemulder, was jailed for tax evasion. Sandra was instrumental in that court decision, telling the court she considered Sunny to be her own daughter.
“Sandra thought Jesse would never be able to hurt her again, but she was wrong,” an insider tells me. “When Jesse was in rehab it was Sandy who was a mother to his little girl. Despite what Jesse did, Sandra never walked away from Sunny.”
But now Sandra has the awkward task of prepping Sunny for her third mother figure in less than a year.
“She has given that sweet child nothing but love,” my source says. “As difficult as this will be, once again Sandra will prove what a lady she is.”

Ugh, God. I mean, I get that I shouldn?t just assume that Kat will be a horrible step-mother, but thinking about this situation just gives me a stress headache. I know I?m putting too much emphasis on Kat versus Sandra, when really Sunny is probably already screwed up just from having Jesse as a father (can you imagine?), and having Janine WhatsHerPorn as her mom. Sandra must seem like a calm, sane anchor in the hurricane of this child?s life. It?s all so sad.

They've been anxiously awaiting their first child's arrival, and it's being reported that Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem are officially proud parents!
According to Spanish newspaper El Pais, the 36-year-old actress gave birth to her and Javier's baby on Tuesday (January 25) at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles, California.
With no gender or name having been announced as of yet, Miss Cruz was first outed as being pregnant after debuting a baby bump on the set of "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" back in September.

Making her way back to the States after promoting "Tangled" in Europe, Mandy Moore was spotted passing through the terminal at LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Tuesday (January 25).
The singer/actress looked happy to be back home, as she's in recovery mode following an assuredly unpleasant bout of food poisoning thanks to an unsavory seafood dinner.
Tweeting about the overseas illness, Miss Moore wrote, "Food poisoning is the worst. It will be a long time before I can even look at a piece of fish."
The 26-year-old also voiced her happiness over learning of the Oscar nomination for the Alan Menken and Glenn Slater original score "I See the Light" - which was performed by Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi in "Tangled."
Of the honor, Mandy tweeted, "Just landed to the good news of "I see the light" getting an oscar nom! Wish the movie had too! Bittersweet."

Landing herself a brand new gig, Vanessa Hudgens has been selected to be the new face of Candie's.
The "Sucker Punch" sweetheart accepted the offer from the clothing brand which currently boasts singer Britney Spears as their spokesperson.
Miss Hudgens has already received a big congrats from Miss Spears, who tweeted, ?So fun being a Candie?s Girl! Look out for the @Candiesbrand pics of their new girl, Vanessa Hudgens!?
Flattered by the shout out, Vanessa replied via Candie's Twitter page by writing, ?Thnx, @BritneySpears, you?re a tough act to follow ?but, I?m so excited to be the new Candie?s girl for 2011!! ? xo?

Having made the short trip from London the previous day, Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez were spotted leaving their hotel in Paris, France on Tuesday night (January 25).
The "Knight & Day" actress and her Yankees slugger beau made separate exits as they loaded into an awaiting car en route to a romantic dinner at Hotel Costes.
Making the most of their visit to the City of Lights, Cameron and A-Rod spent the earlier part of the day checking out the artwork at the Modern Art Museum of the City of Paris.
The duo also dropped a little cash during a post-museum shopping session at the upscale Chanel boutique.

Australian “actress” Sophie Monk isn’t even D-list on a good day, but I literally have nothing else to write about unless you want to review a two-page analysis of Justin Bieber’s latest haircut (no, really), so just shut your stupid piehole and quit with the “who?!’s” and “zzzzzz’s” already. Anyway, she just got engaged to some old dude I’ve never heard of. The end. Us Magazine says:
Sophie Monk, 31, announced her engagement to 50-year-old American businessman Jimmy Esebag on Tuesday.
“I got engaged,” Monk revealed during an Australian radio interview (via Sydney Morning Herald). “It feels right — I think you know when you know.”
Describing Esebag as her “soul partner,” the Spring Breakdown star added that she’s “marrying a male version of myself, which is dangerous but good. He’s a keeper.”
Did you catch that? She’s 31 and he’s 50. Which means when he was 31, she was just going into the sixth grade. Sorta makes my hanging out by the middle school soccer field seem a little less creepy now, doesn’t it?
