I?ve already gotten tired of hearing all of the gossip surrounding Kanye West and Kim Kardashian?s wedding plans. Some days they?re fighting, some days Kim is just letting Kanye do what he wants. Some days IgNori will be included, some days she won?t. Some days? ugh, you get the idea. But one part of their wedding plans I do want to hear more about is the dress. Kim Kardashian finally nailed down the day in May when she will wed Kanye West.
?She?s telling friends, ?We picked a date!? says a source close to Kim. Now all the fine details are falling into place too. To top the tiara she wore to her last wedding, Kardashian is upgrading to a crown!
?She and Kanye will be in handcrafted headpieces he commissioned for them,? a source tells Hot Stuff. The jewels are only fitting for the rapper, who ?thinks he and Kim are royalty,? says a pal.
And they do have a king-sized budget. ?No expense will be spared? it?ll be over the top!?
They?ve asked Stevie Wonder and John Legend to perform and ?Kanye told John he was inspired by his wedding. He wants the same romantic feel!?

Well, I remember Kim?s second wedding too, which came after Duchess Kate and Prince William?s wedding, and how Kim thought she was ?American royalty? too, like her wedding was on par with Kate and Will?s wedding. So something tells me that she won?t have a problem with wearing a crown this time around. A crown will be a bold choice for Kanye too. I seriously can?t wait to see whatever mess they both wear. It will be amazing.

Taking care of her Royal duties, Kate Middleton showed up at the grand opening of the ICAP Art Room at Northolt High School in the Ealing neighborhood of London, England today (February 14).
The Duchess of Cambridge had all eyes on her as she greeted staff, students and spectators while wearing an absolutely gorgeous royal blue Detroit Dress from LK Bennett despite the rainy weather outside.
And though Kate and her hubby Prince William aren?t together this Valentine?s Day, they?ve been voted the most romantic couple of the UK.
A rep for the Net Voucher Codes website, who conducted the survey, explained, "It's great to see the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge named the nation's most romantic couples. Right from their time at university, to the Royal Wedding through the birth of Prince George we've witnessed their blossoming romance go from strength to strength."

I thought Natalie Portman and her family were living in Paris by now, but I guess not. These are photos of Natalie in Jerusalem yesterday, where she?s filming an adaptation of Amos Oz?s A Tale of Love and Darkness. Natalie is not only the star, she?s the director. And she?ll be speaking Hebrew in the film, which is exciting because I didn?t realize she was that fluent in Hebrew (fluent enough to play a Hebrew-speaking character, I mean). But, as with most things, there?s a controversy. Natalie is currently filming in an ultra-orthodox neighborhood in Jerusalem and now people are mad:
Oscar-winner Natalie Portman has been accused of mounting a “foreign invasion” by protesters from Israel’s ultra-orthodox community after arriving in Jerusalem to shoot her directorial debut, reports the Times of Israel.
Portman is in the city to work on a film adaptation of Israeli novelist Amos Oz’s acclaimed memoir A Tale of Love and Darkness, which has been translated into 28 languages and has sold over a million copies worldwide. The film details Oz’s childhood in Jerusalem in the chaotic period at the end of the British mandate for Palestine, as well as the writer’s experiences during the early years of the state of Israel and teenage years on a kibbutz. Portman, who was born in Jerusalem to an Israeli father and an American mother, will also take a supporting role as Oz’s mother.
Ultra-orthodox residents of the city’s Nahlaot district have written to Jerusalem deputy mayor Rachel Azaria in protest at the decision to shoot scenes there. “The film shooting is set to take place on several sensitive streets close to synagogues and yeshivas, and the scenes being filmed should have been examined first to make sure they don’t offend anybody’s sensitivities,” the letter reads. It insists authorities failed to inform residents about the shoot, and suggests they only discovered it was happening in recent days.
The Times also reports incidents of ultra-orthodox protest graffiti in the district labelling Portman’s film a “foreign invasion”. Authorities said all actors involved in the shoot for A Tale of Love and Darkness would dress modestly, and pointed out the difficulty of balancing the cultural interests of the city as a whole with those of local religious groups.
“There is a constant tension between the desire to celebrate diverse and interesting Jerusalem and the attempts by extremist groups to prevent this,” Azaria said. “The attraction of the city, its unique architecture and the efforts of the film and television industry will triumph and the cinematic growth we’ve seen in Jerusalem in recent years will continue to flourish with Natalie Portman in Nahlaot.”
Portman, received 1.6m Israeli New Shekel (276,500) from the Jerusalem Development Authority to bring her film to the city. Observers report scenes featuring schoolchildren dressed in traditional 1940s clothing ? wool knee-length shorts for the boys and pinafore dresses for the girls ? have already been shot. Portman, who left Israel for the US at the age of three, will speak Hebrew in the film.

Eh, I?m kind of on Natalie?s side. It seems like she did her due diligence and got all of the permits and such that were required, and it seems like some people in the orthodox community are upset with their representatives more than Natalie. Let her make her movie! Besides, if the mess that went down on Jane Got a Gun is any indication, Natalie will likely have bigger problems than some minor protests by the orthodox community. Jane Got a Gun was Natalie?s last producer-credited film, and it was an utter production disaster.

Here are some new photos of Taylor Swift out and about in LA doing various things with her new bob haircut. She debuted the cut several days ago on her Instagram, and now she?s showing it off in many photo-ops around town. I don?t hate the new hair. I prefer Swifty with either straight and sleek long hair or a wavy/curly mess, but my least favorite for her is any style which includes thick bangs. And that?s not (just) about my usual bangs-revulsion. Bangs on Swifty make her eyes look even more hooded and she just looks extra ?scheming?. La Villainess Swifty!
Anyway, I wanted to tell you about this absolutely hilarious Swifty story in this week?s In Touch. In Touch claims that ?Taylor Swift Breaks Her Own Dating Rules? and then goes on to point out of all of the rules Swifty claims are her hard-and-fast love lessons and how she?s always broken those rules. It?s pretty funny. Some highlights:
*A source says that Swifty ?LIKES to play games? contrary to her ?no games? talk. ?She does weird things that make guys uncomfortable and turn them off. Even worse, every guy knows that if he goes out with her, she?s eventually going to write an insulting breakup song about him.?
*Swifty always advises against being too ?clingy?? but when she was dating Jake Gyllenhaal, she ditched her family to join Jake?s family for Thanksgiving after only a few weeks of dating.
*Swifty advises to let guys be the pursuers? but then she went after Conor Kennedy by befriending his grandmother and buying a compound adjacent to the Kennedy compound.
*Swifty advises to not be jealous? then she trash-talks her ex?s new girlfriend in a song. Joe Jonas, Camilla Belle. Etc.
*Swifty advises to never let the dude become your whole world? but that?s exactly what she did with John Mayer.
*Swifty advises to stay away from bad boys? then she fell for Harry Styles.
*Swifty advises to find an upstanding guy? but then complains about ?wearing the pants? in the relationship and ends up dumping him (Taylor Lautner).
Now, is this all definitive proof that Swifty is full of it? No. It?s only proof that she?s still a young woman and young women are often full of it, especially when it?s about boys. It?s easy to talk a big game about love and all, but Swifty?s a mess. I think it?s a good sign that she hasn?t real-estate stalked anyone recently. That we know of.

These are some photos of John Travolta and Kelly Preston in late January at the Living Legends of Aviation awards. John hosted the event as the official ambassador of aviation, which I don’t understand. He’s a celebrity and a flight enthusiast. He owns several of his own planes. I guess that’s good enough to be a host and ambassador? So be it.
John is currently promoting an onstage special (in London) called “A Conversation with John Travolta.” He’ll discuss his career hits and misses as well as other aspects of his life thus far. Can you believe John is about to turn 60 years old in a month? He sat down with the Telegraph to reveal a few tidbits in advance. Of particular interest is John’s admission that his Scientology minders didn’t leave his side for two years after the death of his eldest son, Jett, at age 16. Poor John is completely brainwashed, or he’s a better actor than I’ve ever given him credit for being. He communicates gratitude for the CO$’s support, but most of us find the idea of Scientology minders very scary in general. Let’s do some excerpts:
On his Oscar nomination for Saturday Night Fever at age 24: “I always knew how lucky I was. So actually I was quite humbled by success when it came. I felt like the decade between 25 and 35 was my most difficult. Then, once Pulp Fiction came into play, I was being offered the most wonderful roles again.”
His feelings on death: “I’m probably less terrified of death than your average fellow now, because people so near to me have suffered before their time and I just feel that if they can do it, so can I. The edge — the panic that most people feel — has been taken off death for me. I almost feel like it’s disrespectful to fear it when others have been able to do it.”
Scientologist handlers followed him for years: “Oh my God. I don’t know what I would have done if I hadn’t had the support of Scientology. I don’t think I could have got through it. They were with me every day after Jett died. They even travelled with me when I needed to get away. And for a solid two years it was like that. It was only in the second year that I started to take a break of a day or two just to see how I was doing on my own.”
His 1985 dance with Princess Diana: Travolta felt that it was “two victims of [fame] dancing together.” “There really was something lovely and girlish about her, and I felt that I had taken her back to her childhood, when she had probably watched Grease — and for that moment I was her Prince Charming.? He wasn’t nervous, he says, “because I?d seen her dance with Charles beforehand so I knew that she was strong. But she looked like she was leading [him] and because I knew that the world was watching I thought that I really needed to give her certainty that I knew what to do. I put my hand in the middle of her back, brought her hand down so that it wouldn’t be so high and gave her the confidence that we would do just fine. She was the real deal. And I think that was partly because she followed the rule that ‘it’s OK to be important as long as everyone else is equally important.’”
On getting older: “I don’t love the idea of turning 60,” he admits of his birthday later this month, “so I had hoped to keep it under the radar.” He won’t really “close the chapter on playing villains,” he says, until he gets cast as a baddy in a James Bond film. “I would love that. They?re going a different way with their villain in this next film but I?ve spoken to Barbara Broccoli about it and she loves the idea, so that would be great.”

Of course Scientologists monitored John (and Kelly) for years after Jett’s death. They didn’t want either parent to go “off message” about autism, which Scientology doesn’t believe even exists. Jett died in January 2009, and then John admitted in April during a sketchy extortion trial that Jett was autistic. Presumably, that’s when the CO$ stepped in to prevent John from publicly talking about it again.
Then in 2012, Kelly blamed chemicals for Jett’s autism. That was a really sad interview where she sounded like she was blaming herself. I even remember watching a late 1990s episode of Regis and Kathie Lee where Kelly was discussing how she believed carpet cleaning fluid had caused Jett to develop Kawasaki syndrome. I guess she eventually accepted that Jett did have autism, and it’s all very sad. Especially since the CO$ doesn’t give a flip about how Kelly or John feels. They just want to control the publicity aspect.
