Kicking off the week with some promotional duties, Anne Hathaway headed over to the Ziegfeld Theatre in Manhattan on Monday night (September 21).
Joined by her costar Robert DeNiro, the ?Dark Knight Rises? dame had all eyes on her as she plugged the New York City premiere of her new film ?The Intern,? sporting a sexy black dress.
?The Intern? is slated to hit theaters on September 25th. Per the synopsis, ?70-year-old widower Ben Whittaker has discovered that retirement isn't all it's cracked up to be. Seizing an opportunity to get back in the game, he becomes a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin.?

Despite the gradual drop in temperature heading in to fall, Jessica Alba still looks sexy and sun-soaked on the front page of Self magazine?s October 2015 issue.
The gorgeous ?Good Luck Chuck? actress works her magic in the beach-themed photo spread, including plenty of skin-revealing ensembles.
Of her billion-dollar Honest Company, Jessica explained, ?I?ve always been business-minded. I approached Hollywood like a business ? I?ve been building my own personal brand over time. For a long time, I didn?t think I was smart. I felt like an imposter. It?s not until you feel whole in yourself that you fit in anywhere. And it took me becoming a mom to actually feel that way.?

Here are some photos from last night?s NYC premiere of The Intern, the Nancy Meyers comedy starring Anne Hathaway and Robert DeNiro. I kind of want to see this. I think the conceit of the film is really interesting ? having the core relationship of the film between a younger career woman and her much older intern, with no romance and just life lessons. It?s surprisingly smart.
DeNiro and Hathaway walked the red carpet separately, then happily posed together, holding hands (at various points, Anne was also holding on to DeNiro?s arm). These photos are sort of a prime example of sexism on the red carpet ? it?s perfectly acceptable for DeNiro to walk the red carpet looking like he?s about to go to a Yankees game, meanwhile Anne probably spent two hours getting read. Anne?s dress here is Rodarte Fall 2015. I?m not a fan. I generally think Rodarte is pretty overworked and gimmicky. That being said, from the neck up, Anne looks fantastic. Beautiful makeup and I love her hair this length.
Guess who else walked the red carpet? This was the red carpet couple-debut of Mariah Carey and James Packer. They did not hold hands. They did not seem affectionate in any way. Packer merely stood close to Mariah while he clasped his hands behind his back and she smiled awkwardly. Their body language is definitely off. Um, do you think Packer has ever seen her naked? I?m really asking.

Ryan Reynolds covers the October issue of GQ. Even though the orange is really strong with Ryan at all times these days, I still think this is a nice editorial. The October issue is GQ?s ?How To? issue, and Ryan?s interview ? which he did to support Mississippi Grind ? is mostly about fatherhood, marriage and how his life has been completely changed by Blake Lively and baby James. For what it?s worth, I think he absolutely adores his life now and this is probably the happiest we?ve ever seen him. You can read the full GQ interview here. Some highlights:
Fatherhood advice: ?The one piece of advice I would say is: Don?t listen to any advice. Because there?s nothing you can do to prepare for it. I?ve learned that an inordinate amount of clichs are completely true. Like, there is this kid here that I would walk through fire for. Or maybe not fire. Like, a very hot pavement, I?d walk through. A shag rug.?
Whether he?s surprised by how he took to fatherhood: ?I think I am, yeah. I can?t say I had an easy relationship with my father, and I can?t say my brothers did either, but I look at each of my older brothers, and they?re all fathers, and they?re all great fathers. So I had some good examples. But I don?t think you really necessarily need examples. You just try to not be a complete pile of sh-t and just be there for them. You know, I like it: I mean that in the heaviest context. I genuinely like it. I like being a father. I like having a daughter. I would like to have more kids. You know, it seems to suit me pretty well.?
They still don?t have a nanny: ?I?m surprised how patient I am with it. I feel like I could sometimes have a bit of a short fuse, but there?s just been this weirdly endless supply of patience. I have no problem waking up five times in the middle of the night and changing diapers, and as exhausted as you get, I have this stupid grin on my face all the time. And that?s not because I have a nanny or something like that. It?s just us right now, and I love it.?
He?s trying not to brag about his kid: ?I get why parents have that sort of predisposition to talk about their child as if they?re the only people that have ever copulated and pumped out a kid. I understand that. I don?t f–king fall victim to it, because, especially celebrities, when they talk about their kid, they talk about their kid like they?re the Chosen One, or they?re the only people who have ever had a child? I find it to be really obnoxious. In fact, every time I talk about my kid in public, I?m generally talking about how average she is. But at home, I?m like, ?You?re a genius! Oh, my God! You just took a sh-t in your diaper that came out as a perfect musical note!??
Judgy mommy bloggers judging him: ?Yeah, ?Can I just make some mistakes and all of you just f–k off?? Yeah. You want to be able to say that. But you can?t say that. There is almost no community on Earth as intense as the parent-child online community.?

The rest of the piece is a really good read too, so I?d highly recommend it. Ryan comes across as a dick a few times, then he catches himself and clarifies. He talks about how he?s never been nominated for an Oscar and why that?s not his priority. He even acknowledges that even with all of the false starts in his career and all of the bombs that have been put on his shoulders, he still likes where he is and he?s lucky to still be working so much, and that probably wouldn?t be the case if he was a woman or a black actor. All in all, it?s one of the best interviews I?ve ever read with him.

We?re still playing catch-up on some of the photos that came out just before the Emmys, like these pics of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian back at home in LA. Actually, these photos are from Kimye?s outing in Malibu on Sunday, where they went to lunch at Caf Habana then ran a few errands together. They returned to LA after spending about two weeks in NYC, where Kim spent time with Serena Williams and Kanye debuted The Yeezy Collection Season 2 (which got dismal reviews). Here?s something I didn?t know: North West caused a minor commotion at her daddy?s fashion show AGAIN. At the first Yeezy Collection show, North cried her eyes out. At last week?s show, North kept yelling ?mommy!? at the models. Which is cute, right?
Anyway, as you can see, Kim is still very, very pregnant. She?s not due until December, reportedly. And Kim is still wearing too-tight clothes, she?s still using jackets and coats to cover her butt, and she is still (I believe) wearing Spanx to make sure that she?s not spilling out all over the place. There is one photo (below) where you can see her from behind, and all I have to say is that Kim is still wearing the wrong bra size. This is a consistent problem with Kim, pregnant or not. Surely it?s not that difficult to find a bra that fits?

Here are some photos of Emily Blunt at last night?s London premiere of Sicario. I?m including a bonus photo of Benicio del Toro, just in case anyone is still into him, and for what it?s worth, people are really into Benicio in Sicario. Like, he?s the critics? favorite in this film. As for Emily, the one-time star of The Devil Wears Prada actually wore Prada to this premiere. I?ve been bitching about Prada gowns for a while, so my complaints about this dress should be nothing new. I?m astonished that it doesn?t have major darting issues. I?m not surprised that it looks cheap, especially the tomato-red bows at the back.
Blunt recently stepped in it when discussing her recent naturalization to the USA. During early promotional interviews for Sicario, Blunt joked about how watching the GOP debate made her question why she became an American, and she also said she was ?sad? about becoming an American. Fox News jumped all over her and Blunt ended up apologizing on the Today Show last week. While promoting Sicario in London, Blunt was asked about the dust-up by the BBC and she said: ?It was an incredibly innocuous joke in a light handed way, so the heavy-handed reaction was a bit surprising to me.?
Meanwhile, did you know that Emily has been cast in the film adaptation of The Girl on the Train? The massive bestseller was set in London, but they?re moving the action to New York. The film will be directed by Tate Taylor and Blunt will be playing Rachel. She just confirmed to the BBC that she will be playing Rachel as a British woman too. There are also reports that Chris Evans and Jared Leto will be taking roles in the film. I have the book sitting in a pile by my bed, waiting to be read, so no spoilers, please! I?m going to read it, I promise.

Here are some assorted photos of Cara Delevingne in London over the past few days. There are three different fashion looks to discuss. The ultra-short black feathered dress is Burberry, and that?s what she wore to Sunday night?s London premiere of Pan photos. I forgot Cara is in Pan ? she plays Mermaid (Rooney Mara plays Tiger Lily, because of course). A big to-do happened at the premiere because Cara, in full view of the cameras, leaned over the barricades to take some photos with fans and since her dress was so short, she flashed some butt cheek and her underpants ? go here to see.
I?m also including photos of Cara at the Louis Vuitton launch event this weekend ? she wore a baggy suit and brought her girlfriend St. Vincent. I?m assuming the suit is LV, right? And Cara and St. Vincent were also at the Burberry show on Monday, and Cara was once again wearing head-to-toe Burberry. She?s starring in the My Burberry perfume campaign alongside Kate Moss. If you?re forcing me to choose my favorite look, I guess it?s the Burberry show look, just because I like that jacket.
