Back in April, we talked about how January Jones was going stir-crazy in lockdown in California. January had been using her Instagram to show how she had been not-so-quietly going bonkers. While California has eased up on some restrictions, I think January and her son are probably still in a state of some kind of lockdown and it?s amazing. Her Instagram is hilarious. So the latest thing is that January loves baths. She loved baths before the lockdown and she often talked about her various DIY bath ?stews,? which previously involved baking soda, salt and vinegar. YIKES! But now she?s trying something else for her baths: beer.
It seems like January Jones, 42, has been experimenting with new bath ingredients lately, revealing on Tuesday night that she decided to pour in a bit of beer after reading up on how beauty icon Cleopatra bathed.
?I put a lot of questionable things in [the tub], and I?m gonna put one more questionable thing in it,? she said in an Instagram video. ?I?m doing that because I feel like it?s going to be hydrating for my body,? Jones added, pouring in a dash of the drink and saving the rest to sip. ?And I recently read about what Cleopatra would put in her baths. I just feel like, depending on who you?ve dated, it can?t be that much different, right??
The beer bath marked the end of what Jones called her ?four-step process to lift your mood and get skin right,? which began with the actress laying in her closet with sparkly eye makeup and layers of jewelry before applying a slew of skincare products by True Botanicals and taking a sip of beer before drawing the bath.

I?m not going to get into the science of whether or not beer would be good for your skin in a bathing situation because I honestly don?t know, and I honestly don?t care. My issue is with the smell even if you?re only putting a negligible amount of beer in your bath, you?d still be able to smell it, right? Think about when you?ve spilled a little beer on your shirt or something you smell it all night long. That pungent stale-beer smell hangs around. Now imagine that on your body for hours after your bath. Gross. Also: Egyptian beer in Cleopatra?s day would have been different, right? I fully expect beer historians to come into the comments and yell at me! I?m looking forward to it!!
At some point we also have to talk about how January is from South Dakota and she basically has a regional Minnesota accent.

Last week, we learned that Demi Lovato dumped her fiance Max Ehrich, likely because he had a history of sending crazy thirst-tweets to other famous women. That was just the tip of the bonkers iceberg though as soon as their split was confirmed and their engagement was officially broken, Max went full-tilt nutburger and accused the people in Demi?s life of abusing her and turning her against him. He?s been making all of these public accusations and Demi and her team have issued a flurry of statements to shut him down. This whole drama reads as ?when a famous woman accidentally ends up dating her stalker.? It?s messy, but I?m happy that Demi got out before she actually married the guy. It sounds like she really is embarrassed about the whole debacle though:
Demi Lovato has learned the painful truth about her ex-fianc Max Ehrichs intentions for their whirlwind relationship. Just hours after PEOPLE exclusively confirmed that Lovato, 28, and Ehrich, 29, had made the ?tough decision? to call off their engagement and go their ?separate ways,? the singer appeared on her Instagram Story ? notably without her engagement ring.
The pop star also seemingly threw subtle shade at her now-ex by zooming in on the words displayed on her T-shirt which read, ?Dogs over people.?
Multiple sources say that Lovato and The Young and the Restless alum ? who got engaged in Malibu on July 22 just four months after they started dating ? were having ?conflicts? over the past few weeks. One insider close to Lovato says, It was very hurtful to Demi when she realized that Maxs intentions werent genuine. The source adds, ?Breaking off the engagement was not an easy decision.
When Ehrichs previous tweets professing his love for Lovatos former best friend Selena Gomez, 28, resurfaced on Twitter earlier this month, Lovato publicly supported him. She even slammed the posts as ?fake? in her Sept. 13 Instagram Story. Soon after, the singer began to believe that Ehrich was really just ?trying to further his career by using her name behind her back,? according to the insider.
With her loved ones support, Lovato broke off the engagement. The star has been open about her battles with mental health and addiction, but she is ?doing okay,? the source says adding that ?[the breakup] is a good thing.? Sadly an insider says, ?It was hard for Demi to admit she made a mistake when it came to Max.

That insider sounds like a judgy B! Granted, I?ve never dated a stalker, but TONS of women end up dating guys who seem lovely, nice and normal and then we find out that they?re gigantic creeps. And yes, it?s sometimes hard for women to reconcile that and admit that we?ve made bad choices when it comes to men. But let?s sprinkle this conversation with ?it?s up to men to not be fking creeps? too. Demi?s not responsible for Max?s words and behavior.

Jennifer Lopez has been under contract with Coach for a year now. She?s the global face of Coach, and while I don?t really associate her with the label immediately, it?s not a bad fit at all. Coach is, to me, neither low-end or high-end. They make good-quality products which are somewhat affordable. I guarantee that more than half of us have a Coach purse in our collection. My current favorite purse is a large black leather Coach shopper/tote with shoulder straps.
Anyway, Jennifer was not content to simply be the face of Coach. No, she also got to design a purse in association with the brand. And can I just say? I HATE IT!! It pains me to say that! I was a big fan of Jennifer?s Kohls collection because she did have a knack for making lots of cute, affordable mass market pieces. I guess this purse was supposed to be slightly more higher-end, but it really doesn?t look like a Coach piece, nor does it look like a cute purse.

Just a few hours before Donald and Melania Trump tested positive for the coronavirus, Melania?s former friend Stephanie Winston Wolkoff appeared on Anderson Cooper?s CNN show. Wolkoff wrote Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship With the First Lady, a tell-all about their friendship and falling out. Wolkoff had given a portrait of Melania like no other: the real Melania is just as much of a small-minded, petty bigot as her husband. Melania is constantly beefing with Ivanka, and constantly trying to screw people over. Wolkoff always said that she could back up everything she wrote in the book with all of the emails and documents she saved, plus she always played coy about the existence of some secret tapes she made of Melania. Well? Wolkoff released the tapes!! WOW.
This taped conversation happened in July 2018, and basically Melania is just bitching and moaning about how hard she works:
?I?m working like a ? my ass off at Christmas stuff? You know, who gives a fk about Christmas stuff and decoration? I say that I?m working on Christmas planning for the Christmas, and they said, ?Oh, what about the children?? That they were separated.? She used another obscenity to express her exasperation, asking Ms. Winston Wolkoff, ?Give me a fking break? Where they were saying anything when Obama did that??
?They say I?m complicit. I?m the same like him. I support him. I don?t say enough. I don?t do enough,? she tells Ms. Winston Wolkoff in a conversation that sounds as if she is confiding in a close friend.
The conversation took place only weeks after Mrs. Trump ? who was born in Slovenia and became a United States citizen in 2006 ? made headlines when she traveled to an immigrant shelter for children in Texas along the Mexican border and wore a jacket that read, in white capital letters, ?I really don?t care. Do U?? At the time, the president and the first lady?s spokeswoman said that the message on the jacket was aimed at reporters, not at the children she was visiting. Asked by Ms. Winston Wolkoff why she wore the jacket, Mrs. Trump said she did it to annoy her husband?s critics.
?I?m driving liberals crazy, that?s for sure,? she said. ?And that, you know, that?s ? and they deserve it, you understand. And everybody?s like, ?Oh, my God. This is the worst. This is the worst.? After, I mean, come on. They are crazy, OK??

I mean, I?m not shocked by anything she?s saying here, but it?s still sort of startling to hear Melania basically bitch and moan about how tough her life is and how everyone hates her because of her husband and how little she actually cares about *any* of it. The ?You know, who gives a fk about Christmas stuff and decoration?? part is particularly damning for a Republican wife considering the Republicans? obsession with making ?the War on Christmas? happen.
