He's one of Hollywood's most recognized actors, so it comes as no surprise that Johnny Depp is stingy when it comes to choosing his next role.
Sources told The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday (May 30) that the "Dark Shadows" actor parted from Barry Levinson's upcoming flick "Black Mass" after rejecting their salary offer.
The production was set to pay him $20 million, but due to low sales at this year's Cannes Film Festival, the budget was cut down to $65 million dollars. In turn, the crew asked Johnny is he would accept $10 million for the role.
Unfortunately, Johnny's reps at UTA refused the offer and backed out of the project. UTA has no comment on the matter at this time.
Meanwhile, Johnny is wrapping up his latest sci-fi project "Transcendence" and preparing for the premiere of his upcoming film "The Long Ranger" slated to hit theaters July 3rd.

Emma Watson has a new interview with Rookie, an online magazine. The interview is super-long ? you can read the whole thing here. What?s interesting about it is that the interviewer is a couple of years younger than Emma, so it?s like two very young women just gossiping with each other and it?s sort of revealing for Emma. There?s stuff that I already knew about her ? she?s an anal retentive little thing, she?s insecure about her fame and talent, but she?s also sort of full of herself (in the way that most young women are hyper-self-aware and full of themselves). The Bling Ring people: ?Sofia filmed it in such a nonjudgmental way, though?she never tells the audience how they should feel about these characters, which I think might be quite unsettling for people who want to be told, ?We should hate these people.? She made it so true to life, it almost feels like a documentary.?
She?s obsessed with The Carrie Diaries: ?My final is tomorrow, so I?ve been living like a hermit. The only thing I have been watching?such a guilty pleasure, it?s the perfect study break ?cause you just don?t have to concentrate too hard?is The Carrie Diaries? So embarrassing to admit that! A 23-year-old that?s fully been watching The Carrie Diaries.
On Sofia Coppola: ?It was a real dream of mine. I came to the part in a very roundabout way: I told my agent how much I loved Sofia?s work, and she?s like, ?You should meet with her producer and [unofficial] casting director, Fred Roos,? and I did, and we got on really well, and that led to meeting Sofia, and she told me she was working on a project with young people in it. I read the script for The Bling Ring and I just got obsessed. For Sofia Coppola to be making a film which is a meditation on film and celebrity culture and what that all means, how it impacts society, and the psyches of young women in particular?I was just like, ?OK, I have to be in your movie. I really, really, really want to be in your movie.??
Feeling like an impostor: ?It?s called the impostor syndrome. It?s almost like the better I do, the more my feeling of inadequacy actually increases, because I?m just going, Any moment, someone?s going to find out I?m a total fraud, and that I don?t deserve any of what I?ve achieved. I can?t possibly live up to what everyone thinks I am and what everyone?s expectations of me are. It?s weird?sometimes [success] can be incredibly validating, but sometimes it can be incredibly unnerving and throw your balance off a bit, because you?re trying to reconcile how you feel about yourself with how the rest of the world perceives you.?
She?s an obsessive diarist and journaler: ?I don?t know what it is. I?ve always kept and collected things, and I?ve always been interested in the idea of diaries. I must have 10 different personal diaries: I keep a dream diary, I keep a yoga diary, I keep diaries on people that I?ve met and things that they?ve said to me, advice that they?ve given me. I keep an acting journal. I keep collage books. They?ve given me a place in which I can try to figure myself out, because those kinds of ideas feel too personal to put out into the public or even discuss with anyone else. It allows me to get things out of my head and work them out in a way that feels safe, which is really helpful. I can kind of try things out and play around with things.?
She?s going back to Brown after taking a couple of years off: ?I got famous very young, and [college] gave me a safe zone where I could figure things out without people projecting onto me their ideas of what they wanted me to be, or thought I should be. I really like the fact that [Brown] has a very open curriculum, that there aren?t any requirements. Really, I?ve kind of been in charge of my own education since I started out on Potter when I was 9 or 10, and I liked that I could design my own major if I wanted to, and I could take independent studies if I wanted to on subjects that weren?t necessarily in the curriculum. I did an independent study on the psychology and philosophy of how and why we fall in love, which was awesome.?
What she wants to do next: ?In terms of my next project, I really want to do a romantic comedy. I?ve been looking for the perfect script. I?m getting to the point where I?m like, ?I just need to write the damn thing myself,? because it?s so hard to find something that?s original and really funny. But I?d love to do something like that, just because the last two or three movies I did were kind of heavy.?
Director-chaser: ?I?m a real director chaser. I really want to work with Danny Boyle or Ang Lee, I?d love to work with Lynne Ramsay, I?d love to work with Tom Hooper, David Fincher?I have this endless list. I?ll do whatever as long as I can be part of someone else?s creative vision, someone who isn?t just creating something as a piece of entertainment, but is genuinely creating a piece of art. Though it?s nice if it?s commercially successful at the same time. [Laughs] I?m big on directors, more than I am about working with particular actors.?

That bit about her diaries and journals is interesting ? there?s something kind of ?Beyonce?s 24-7 Archive? about it, only Emma?s version is still kind of cute. As for Emma returning to Brown? I kind of lost interest in her stop-go education after she took that second or third hiatus from school. She went to Oxford for a year, right? And she?ll be coming back to Brown next school year, like in the fall? We?ll see. I bet those plans change a few more times.

She?s been having a blast serving as stepmom to her husband Eddie Cibrian's sons Mason and Jake, and LeAnn Rimes hasn?t ruled out having some kiddos of her own.
During an interview with Us Weekly, the ?How Do I Live? singer assured fans that it?s quite likely that she?ll be preggers in the years to come.
LeAnn noted, "We talk about having kids all the time and I would love to, but it's gonna be a second. I'm still young and fertile -- it's all good!"
"I was just with the kids for the last two days taking care of them on my own, and trust me . . . I have a newfound respect for working moms who do it all by themselves. It was my birth control for a little bit -- so overwhelming!"

Cameron Diaz has been spending time with billionaire Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk, sources exclusively tell Page Six.
Diaz, 40, and Musk, 41, got to know each other after she bought one of the electric sports cars earlier this year, we hear.
But sources tell us Musk ? said to be the inspiration for ?Iron Man? genius billionaire Tony Stark played by Robert Downey Jr. ? has gotten close to Diaz and has been increasingly traveling to Los Angeles from Tesla headquarters in Palo Alto. He?s been going to LA so regularly, Musk often arrives without giving his colleagues a heads-up he?s in town. The reason, we?re told, is because he?s ?visiting Cameron.?
Sources said Diaz, who is filming the romantic comedy ?The Other Woman? alongside Leslie Mann and Kate Upton, is a big fan of Musk, a South African-born entrepreneur who launched software companies Zip2 and PayPal and space exploration firm Space X before launching Tesla Motors.
Diaz bought a Tesla Model S EV earlier this year, an energy-friendly electric sedan with no emissions and a top speed of about 130 mph.
Musk, worth $4.5 billion, has been married and divorced twice, most recently to British actress Talulah Riley, 27, with whom he split in 2012 and later reconciled. The couple in mid-May attended the Maxim Hot 100 party together in LA, where Riley is living.
Diaz, meanwhile, split with New York Yankee third baseman Alex Rodriguez two years ago, and appears to have been unattached since.
While reps for neither Diaz nor Musk got back to us, perhaps the single Diaz is looking to settle down. On Monday, passengers on a Delta flight from Nice, France, overheard the actress going ?gaga? over Uma Thurman and Arpad Busson?s daughter Luna, whom Busson held close to his chest in a Baby Bjorn.
After Thurman showed off Luna to Diaz and fellow passenger Nicole Kidman, Diaz ?gushed how she?s wanted to have a baby,? an onlooker told us.

I?m including a photo of Elon and Talulah together last year (below). Elon Musk is worth a reported $1.5 billion (give or take), but his settlement to Talulah was a mere 2.5?million! That?s interesting. So is Camy getting on some other lady?s man? Or have Elon and Talulah called it quits again, or is Elon just dating both of them at the same time? Huh.

I told you yesterday that LeAnn Rimes had given ?exclusive? interviews to both Us Weekly and People Magazine, and I imagine both pieces include the same BS quotes about ?feeling pathetic? and ?being strong now? and ?not knowing how to process everything.? As it turns out, LeAnn also talked about motherhood and fertility and such too. Fascinating?
She’s got a full house already: a husband, two kids and four dogs, but LeAnn Rimes is ready to expand, when the time is right.
“We have a lot on our plates,” says the singer of home life with Eddie Cibrian, 39, and his children Mason, 9, and Jake, 6, who live with the couple part-time. “But whenever I talk about kids, I’m like, ‘Let’s have one!’ I have a lot of work to do now but I’m totally ready if it happens.”
Timing aside, Rimes, 30, whose new album Spitfire is out June 4, is realistic about her dreams of being a mother.
“It took my mom 12 years to have me. I hope I don’t have that [issue] but if I do, then a surrogate is something I’ve thought about,” she says. “Eddie and I have also talked about adopting. My capacity to love a child doesn’t stop at my own eggs, obviously!”
Rimes and Cibrian married in 2011, two years after separating from their respective spouses following an explosive, and highly publicized, affair.
“I felt like my life was falling apart,” she says. “But now I feel settled. I’m proud of our great family. Eddie is an amazing father and I love my stepsons.”
Still, Rimes says with a laugh, it would be nice to mix things up a bit when it comes time for a new arrival. “Testosterone is all around here so I need a little girl!”

As for the fertility issue, Us Weekly released more of their interview:
LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian have their hands full with Mason and Jake, the actor’s sons with ex-wife and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville. Even so, the spouses of two years are excited about the prospect of starting a family of their very own.
“We talk about having kids all the time and I would love to, but it’s gonna be a second,” Rimes tells Us Weekly. “I’m still young and fertile — it’s all good!”
The “Borrowed” singer predicts that Mason, 9, and Jake, 6, will be “a little older” before she and Cibrian give them a half-sibling. “I was just with the kids for the last two days taking care of them on my own, and trust me . . . I have a newfound respect for working moms who do it all by themselves,” Rimes admits. “It was my birth control for a little bit — so overwhelming!”
The tight-knit brothers are “really active,” Rimes explains, so most afternoons are spent hanging out in the backyard playing “whatever they’re dreaming up at that moment.”
“The little one has a vivid imagination, so we’re usually playing swords and shooting people with imaginary guns. Mason is turning 10 and he’s definitely got that kind of pre-teen thing going on, which is so crazy because I’ve known him since he was 6,” the Grammy winner tells Us. “They ride dirt bikes now and quads. I grew up in Mississippi, so I’ve ridden quads my whole life, since I was like 2-years-old. So that’s kind of like our family thing to do now. Everybody has either a dirt bike or a little quad and we go riding around the neighborhood.”
Rimes, 30, doesn’t mind being outnumbered 3-to-1 when Cibrian has custody of the kids. “It’s fun to be around boys,” explains the singer, whose new album Spitfire is out June 4. “You get to do things that I didn’t necessarily get to do and haven’t gotten to do in a long time. With two boys around, I usually don’t get out of shorts and a T-shirt because we’re rolling around most of the time and jumping on a trampoline. I love it!”

How is it appropriate to pitch a fit about your ex-wife showing your sons (in the background) of a reality show but it?s completely okay for your children?s stepmother to whore out details of her stepsons? lives to Us Weekly. Oh, and I live in the South too and it’s common to let young children ride/drive ATVs and dirtbikes, but that should be a discussion between Eddie and Brandi and it shouldn’t involve LeAnn discussing it with Us Weekly!!! Kim Kardashian has been roundly criticized about everything from her fashion choices to her baby weight gain but a new shocking claim says that she is still getting Botox injections during her pregnancy. The 32-year-old reality star is set to give birth to her first child in July, but according to a new report she has been so obsessed with staying young looking that she is getting the plastic surgery treatment to keep her skin smooth.
?She?s still getting injections even though she?s seven months pregnant,? an insider told In Touch magazine. Kim?s rep denied the claim about her getting Botox during her pregnancy to RadarOnlie.com.
Kanye West?s baby mama has gained a startling 70 pounds during her pregnancy, and it is this that has caused her so much anxiety.
?She?s become more neurotic than ever about her looks,? a family insider told the magazine. ?She?ll do anything to be beautiful.?
Kanye lost his own beloved mother Donda West after a botched plastic surgery operation and a source said it would not bode well for Kim if he found out she?s getting Botox injections.
?It would really set him off if he found out that Kim was putting his baby in that kind of danger just for her looks.?
Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Jon A. Perlman, who does not treat Kim, told the magazine ?the lack of upper facial wrinkling and expression suggest Botox. Her skin is too smooth.?
A source close to Kim dismissed the report, saying ?this is totally not true and she would never do this. It is absurd.?
