| Taylor Swift's business model is dependent on Mayochella controversies & shade | Added 5 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I?ve always known that Taylor Swift is one of the smartest businesswomen to ever enter the music industry. It?s true even if Tay?s haters want to criticize her for everything else, they have to give her credit for understanding her business model and for understanding how to promote herself and her music. One of the most fundamental parts of the Business of Taylor is controversy, hype and headlines. Bad or good, any gossip helps her sell music. So that?s why I?m starting to wonder if the whole Mayochella thing was perhaps too convenient. My theory: Taylor knows on some level that ?ME!? is perhaps not her best single, and she knows that the conversation about ?what is this rainbow-vomit twee mess? would only last for so long. So like all smart businesswomen, she gave people a new controversy: Mayochella, the Billboard Music Awards performance.
I honestly didn?t come up with this theory on my own Vanity Fair pointed it out, that this is always the early cycle of Taylor Swift?s promotion. VF posits that Taylor Swift would rather be part of a ?copycat/appropriation? conversation than being ignored altogether. Plus, Swift understands her fanbase, and she knows they?ll charge forth to defend her honor no matter what, so Tay stokes controversy then sits back and plays the victim. She gets to ?copy? Beyonce, get dragged for it, then watch her fans defend her vociferously, and all she has to do is sit back and give a few ?pity poor me, everyone was MEAN to me!? interviews. And we fall for it every damn time!
Desus & Mero mocked Taylor last night. Just go ahead and mock her, this is part of her business model.
Also, I hadn?t seen this before, but before Mayochella, there were people saying that Taylor was copycatting Kacey Musgraves? imagery and pastel vibes.

| Sophie Turner & Joe Jonas' Las Vegas wedding was just a legal thing | Added 5 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I was pleasantly surprised but not shocked yesterday morning when I saw, bright and early, that Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas had eloped in Las Vegas. They got engaged in 2017, and they?ve been together for so long, they?re a pretty established couple among ?young Hollywood.? She purposefully tamped down wedding expectations last year, saying that she wasn?t going to plan her wedding while she was filming Game of Thrones because it would just be too much. Well, Sophie is currently on the promotional tour for X-Men: Dark Phoenix, but I guess there was a gap in her schedule, because she and Joe really did spend a week planning this Vegas wedding. As it turns out, this is just their official, legal wedding though they still plan to have a big to-do in France soon enough.
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner tied the knot Wednesday night in a surprise Las Vegas wedding ? but they?ll soon walk down the aisle again. A source exclusively tells PEOPLE the singer, 29, and the Game of Thrones actress, 23, wed in the U.S. so that their marriage is legitimate when they say ?I do? at a bigger ceremony in France.
?They had to get married in the States to make it legal, but the wedding is still in Europe,? the source tells PEOPLE.
Reps for Jonas and Turner did not immediately respond to PEOPLE?s request for comment.
The former DNCE frontman previously confirmed to PEOPLE that he and Turner are planning a wedding in France. Per the U.S. Embassy & Consulates in France, ?At least one of the parties to be married must have resided in France for at least forty days immediately preceding the marriage. This precludes a wedding in cases where both parties are only visiting for a short stay?; furthermore, ?In France a religious ceremony does not constitute a legal marriage.? Because of such residency restrictions, international couples often have a legal wedding before a religious or symbolic ceremony in France.

Ah. So because neither Sophie nor Joe are French citizens or exist in some kind of permanent-alien status in France, their French wedding was never going to be legal. That makes their Vegas wedding even cooler, in my mind it was necessary and a formality, yet they made it fun and special too. They invited their friends to come over after the Billboard Music Awards, they got Dan & Shay to perform, Diplo was there, and I bet it was just a really nice little ceremony. Sophie even wore a white dress and a veil! They took it somewhat seriously and they had a half-serious, half-quirky special moment. I kind of love this.
can we please discuss how joe Jonas got married to Sophie Turner in Vegas at an Elvis-themed wedding 2 hours after their billboard performance, had Dan & Shay perform Speechless, had Khalid in attendance AND we found out all this through DIPLO live-streaming this? pic.twitter.com/FrslR7ZmBG

| Vanessa Hudgens had a 'midlife crisis' at 27: 'I felt like I had no idea who I was' | Added 5 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I?ve noticed an interesting little trend among celebrity women over the past five years or so: the garbage 20s. As in, more and more often these days, women are like ?my 20s were utter garbage.? Everyone tells women that their 20s should be happy and fun times, full of love affairs and drinking and great metabolism, and that they should use their 20s to figure out the next six decades of their lives. The reality is different though crappy jobs, no savings, love drama, horrible mistakes, etc. Maybe it?s the generation, but it feels like more women are coming into their 30s feeling genuine RELIEF that their Garbage 20s are over.
I bring this up because Vanessa Hudgens is one of those 30-year-old women who seems happier now that her Garbage 20s are done. Vanessa is featured in the current Most Beautiful People issue of People Mag, and she told the mag about her ?midlife crisis? at 27.
Vanessa Hudgens has learned to embrace the beauty of growing older. After experiencing a ?midlife crisis? at the age of 27, Hudgens says she now feels more confident than ever at 30.
?I remember waking up at 27 and that was the first moment where I was like, ?Oh. I am not a kid. I?m not a teenager. I?m an adult and I have responsibilities.? I felt like I had no idea who I was or what I wanted or what I was going after,? she tells PEOPLE in this week?s Beautiful Issue.
And while the actress admits the momentary freakout was scary, it ultimately helped her refocus her life. ?I?m very grateful for it because then it forced me to reassess who I am and what I believe in, therefore giving me just a better understanding of myself,? she says. ?Now that I?ve reached 30, it?s so nice feeling free to just speak your mind.?
But one downside to growing older? Realizing that some pesky problems never really go away. ?I thought being 30 I wouldn?t have to deal with breakouts anymore and it?s something that I still deal with,? she says. ?As I?ve gotten older, I?ve realized that my face is the only one I got, so I have to be good to it.?
Hudgens says she?s also learned the value of self-care. ?The first step was just actually taking care of myself,? she says. ?My health, my skin, my body ? I feel like by doing so, you?re showing yourself love, so it?s creating that foundation of love for yourself.?
[From People]
It?s not a mid-life crisis, it?s what?s generally known as a quarterlife crisis. I mean, who knows, maybe she?ll live to be 100. Maybe a third-life crisis would be more accurate, but whatever. The point is that people in their 20s rarely have sh-t figured out and they?re still growing as people. One of the best parts about ageing is that you genuinely lose some of those worries and What Does It All Mean feelings. You just get on with it and stop giving a sh-t about the little stuff. And just when you get to a good place mentally and stop giving a fk about the sh-t you can?t control, that?s when your body starts falling apart. It never ends, really!!

| Blake Lively reveals her third pregnancy at the 'Detective Pikachu' premiere | Added 5 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

People were bizarrely calling this in the comments of some Taylor Swift stories the past few weeks apparently, it?s been something of a Snake Fam ?conspiracy? that Taylor has given her fans some clues about? Blake Lively being pregnant again. Blake and Taylor are friendly, and it would make sense if Taylor knew about Blake?s pregnancy months ago. I guess. Anyway, Blake confirmed her third pregnancy last night on the red carpet premiere of Pokmon Detective Pikachu in New York.
Blake?s not part of the movie, but her husband Ryan Reynolds is the voice of Pikachu. Actors always get props when they really commit to doing voice work in movies like Pikachu. Think of how much good press Bradley Cooper got for voicing a raccoon in the Marvel movies, you know? And kids love Ryan. Anyway, Blake?s presence already made the premiere a big event, but the fact that she debuted her bump makes it an international headline. Well played. In case you?re wondering, their daughter James (the eldest daughter) is 4 years old and their second daughter, Inez, is 2 years old (will be three in October). They?ve spaced out their babies pretty well.
Blake?s maternity look is Retroftes Rebecca Dress. Lots of women wore yellow on this carpet because Pikachu is yellow. She?s always such a glowing pregnant lady pregnancy really agrees with her, right? That being said, I hate this hair trend those curls are not natural, it just looks like she got an ?80s style perm.

It?s a Hollywood baby boom! Or something. At the same time that Blake Lively was wordlessly confirming that she was deep into her third pregnancy in New York, Keira Knightley was stepping out in Paris with her visible baby bump too. Keira stepped out with her husband James Righton in Paris for a Chanel cocktail party. Keira is the face of Chanel?s CoCo Mademoiselle fragrance, so this was an appearance on behalf of her endorsement contract. And I bet Chanel was happy to have Keira debut her bump outside the event:
