Enjoying some quality mommy/daughter time, Jennifer Garner was spotted shoe shopping and grabbing pizza with her 6-year-old daughter Violet in Brentwood, California on Friday (July 13).
Sporting a casual look in skinny jeans and a loose light blue sweater, the "13 Going On 30" actress walked out to her car with her daughter carrying a plastic bag with Pink shoes in it while a gal pal carried a box of Italian eats.
Earlier this week (July 11), Jennifer stepped out to volunteer for Frigidaire?s "Adventures in Clean" event to benefit Save the Children charity at Griffith Park, telling SheKnows, "I feel more compelled (to help) the longer I have children, I feel like my kids are so privileged, not just financially? in books, in literature, in libraries, in people who believe in them and encouragement. It makes me more and more driven."
The actress also dished about how she stays in shape after popping out three kids with her husband Ben Affleck and credits her trainer saying, "I start my day with Valerie Waters every day that I can. We?re not in a fancy gym, we?re just in a room in my home. We use 5- to 8-lb weights and do a little cardio. I try to go for a run when I can, and hope for the best."
As for how she wards off unhealthy eating, Garner admitted, "One thing I always do is right around 3 o?clock when everyone starts to get hungry, I make sure there are cut up vegetables out on the counter. There are carrots, bell peppers, sugar snap peas, lots of fresh vegetables. You have to have the food out in front of them."
The 40-year-old busy mom also says, "Time with your girlfriends is the most regenerative thing." talking about her guilty pleasure adding, "After everyone is in bed, I?ll go to a girlfriend?s house and have a glass of wine, and chocolate, and just dish," Garner said. "Then I switch to tea because I have to drive home! Time with your girlfriends

Looking to add her cinematic resume, Jessica Biel has reportedly signed on to the forthcoming "X-Men" sequel, "The Wolverine."
According to sources, the soon-to-be Mrs. Timberlake will join alongside the flick's current star, Hugh Jackman to play the role of Viper.
While details on the plot are still a bit foggy, we do know "The Wolverine" is set to hit theaters July 26, 2013.
In other career news, Miss Biel can next be seen in the action/adventure flick "Total Recall," out in theaters August 3rd.

Stepping out for a promotional appearance, Heidi Klum visited the Barnes and Noble bookstore in New York City today (July 13).
The beautiful blonde supermodel was in the house to sign copies of the newly-released ?Project Runway: The Show That Changed Fashion? book.
While Heidi has been busy gearing up for Season 10 of her uber-popular reality show, it seems her ex-husband Seal has been padding his little black book with ladies to help him get over his failed marriage.
According to a report Klum is furious that Seal has been ?womanizing? while their kids are in the vicinity, specifically during a recent wild night at the Darling Hotel.
A gal pal told press, "Seal can do what he likes, except when the children are there. Heidi and Seal have not finalized their custody agreement, and this may be brought up."

One of the producers of Brendan Fraser’s new movie “The Legend of William Tell” has filed a lawsuit against him, claiming that the actor assaulted him on two separate occasions (legally, watching “Encino Man” does not count as assault, or I’d be suing him, too). TMZ says:
In his suit, [producer Todd] Moyer claims he was hanging out at the Hilton Hotel in Indianapolis on July 27, 2011 when an “intoxicated” Brendan Fraser began to “physically push, verbally threaten and poke [Moyer] in the chest repeatedly.
Six months later, on January 31, 2012, Moyer says Fraser struck again during a meeting about the movie at the offices of Brillstein Entertainment Partners. Fraser allegedly went nuts — screaming threats and striking Moyer in the chest at least 20 times.
Moyer said he suffered extreme mental anguish and physical pain — and wants at least $25k in damages.
For what it’s worth, Fraser was already embroiled in an ongoing lawsuit with Moyer, but in this case, he was the one doing the suing. TMZ says:
Fraser sued Moyer back in May claiming Moyer has bungled the film, causing delays that forced Fraser to pass up other work. Fraser is demanding more than $3 million in damages.
What other work is Brendan Fraser passing up, exactly? Was there a sequel to “Furry Vengeance” in the works that I didn’t know about? If that’s the case, then tens of people are really gonna be disappointed. And it’s not like the $5 movie bin at Wal-Mart fills itself, you know!

Spending some time with the family, Catherine Zeta Jones was spotted outside a CVS pharmacy with her 11-year-old son Dylan in Malibu, California on Friday (July 13).
Layering up for the unseasonable weather, the "Chicago" actress stepped out wearing a jean jacket over an open white blouse and brown tee-shirt with a long colorful skirt and matching heeled boots, while her son donned a preppy look in a striped polo, blue shorts and sandals.
Earlier in the day Catherine was spotted grabbing lunch with Dylan and her 67-year-old husband Michael Douglas in the seaside enclave of Malibu.
With the couple's 9-year-old daughter Carys was no where to be found, the family casually made their way down the street after dinner with Michael looking much healthier since revealing he beat his battle with throat cancer just 18-months ago.
During an interview with "Stylist" magazine last month, the 42-year-old actress assured she's just a regular mom and not caught up in the celebrity lifestyle revealing, "I?m much more down to earth than people think. You know, I?ve worked very hard for it and I appreciate it but I?m just regular old Cath. I?m certainly not a snob and I don?t take anything for granted. I just thank my blessings and pray to my god every day."
"Regular old Cath" seems to be doing much better since undergoing treatment for bi-polar disorder last year admitting, "I?ve suffered from depression for years. I?m in a much better place now, things are going great and long may they continue because it?s been a tough road. But it?s a road that millions of people go down every day. Just because it?s us, doesn?t make it any worse."

Taylor Swift is on the hunt for a new guy to write songs about, y’all. Or rather, she’s looking for a new boyfriend, if you will. Have you ever noticed that it’s always about Swifty being the pursuer, not the other way around? Kaiser once framed the issue in terms of Taylor being quite “predatory” in nature, but maybe I’d be the same way if I were a rich, successful country singer who could have her (temporary) choice of any boy in the room. I mean, a girl needs artistic inspiration. Now two of this week’s tabloids have it on special authority that Taylor now has her sights set upon Patrick Schwarzenegger. Let’s start off with In Touch’s story:
Taylor Swift is known for high-profile romances with the likes of Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner and John Mayer, but this time she seems to have her sights set on America’s royal family. Taylor, 23, spent the Fourth of July with 18-year-old Patrick Schwarzenegger and his famous family at their compound in Cape Cod, Mass — the two were seen laughing and walking on the beach. Patrick is the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, a Kennedy cousing. Taylor is a fan of the family — she says she once got “starstruck” meeting Ethel Kennedy, Patrick’s 84-year-old great-aunt.

Meanwhile, Maria Shriver will have none of this nonsense and fears that Taylor will break Patrick’s heart. LOL.
Maria Shriver doesn’t want Taylor Swift singing any love songs to her hunk son Patrick Schwarzenegger — and she’s told the country supersar to take a hike. Maria fears Taylor will chew him up, spit him out and then write a song about him as she’s done with previous famous boyfriends.
“Maria got word to Taylor and warned her not to get any ideas about dating Patrick,” revealed an insider. “She basically told Taylor to ‘back off.’”
The singer was photographed cozying up to recent high school grad Patrick at an Independence Day gathering at the Kennedys’ Hyannis Port, Mass., compound.
Taylor is a longtime Kennedy family friend, and an excited Patrick tweeted that the festivities were “the best 4th of July I could ask for.”
Said the insider: “Maria is worried that Taylor will lead Patrick on and then leave his heart shattered in a million pieces, like she’s done with other guys.”
While Maria thinks Taylor is a sweet girl, “she’s 100 percent opposed to Patrick dating her,” said the insider. “He’s entering the University of Southern California in the fall and she doesn’t want anything distracting him.”

Obviously, the danger here isn’t that Patrick (who’s a good-looking kid, no doubt) will fall helplessly in love with Taylor, who will mercilessly kick him aside like yesterday’s brunch leftovers. Nope. Instead, what would happen is that they’d have a semi-passionate affair for a few weeks, and then Patrick would get tired of the cling factor and dump Taylor over the phone. Finally, Taylor would include the requisite humiliating song on her next album and move onto the next guy.
So Maria has the right idea about discouraging this romance. Will she be successful? Who knows. But no one messes with Maria; that is, except for Arnold.

Yes, this ended up being a story about Jennifer ?cheating? on her hairdresser. I fully expect Chris McMillan to end up on the cover of Vanity Fair wearing next to nothing and crying about how he really did want babies. This might be my new favorite tabloid story, quite honestly. Is it just me, or is it completely weird and random that Star claims Jennifer feels she has to ?cheat? on her loyal hairdresser? to get her hair braided? Is ?braiding? really that much of a specialized task that Jennifer had to go to someone new to get it done?
As for Justin?s chest waxing? well, we already knew that Jennifer likes him super-groomed. I don?t get why some women don?t like a little chest fur, though. A man should have some hair and not be some completely waxed, sucked and plucked Ken Doll. I guess Jennifer likes a clean workspace. Ew.

Hoping to pull in sales from a younger demographic this time around, Shakira is gearing up for the release of her third fragrance, Elixir.
Set to debut at Kohl?s and Sears later this month, the Colombian singer told WWD of her latest scent, ?After my first two fragrances, I wanted to do something different ? I wanted to push the idea even further and develop a fragrance that would express my most sensual and exotic side, and Elixir is the result of that."
"We worked on the concept of a ?second skin,? a fragrance that becomes a part of you,? the 35-year-old continued.
Adding to the "Waka Waka" singer's description, Puig exec, Jose Manuel Albesa, said, ?This scent is aimed at a youthful consumer who wants to explore her power and her mystery."
Meanwhile, Elixir is said to exude "top notes of neroli, white pepper and white flower; a heart of freesia, peony and apricot skin, and a drydown of white cedarwood, amber, benzoin, sugar cane and musk" while packaged in three sizes: 0.5 oz. for $17.50, 1 oz. for $29 and 1.7 oz. for $36.

Ever since Julia Roberts married Danny Moder and started having babies, she?s been ?on holiday? from Hollywood. Which is fine ? a little Julia goes a long way. Over the past eight years, she?s turned in some interesting performances here and there ? she was grossly miscast in Closer and Duplicity, but I actually enjoyed her in Charlie Wilson?s War (which is overall a GREAT movie that I would highly recommend). I recently tried watching Eat, Pray, Love but I kept turning it off because the film was awful, her character was a whiner and Julia was apparently the only actor in the film who got to have good lighting ? everybody else looked like hell. Julia?s last film foray was the disastrous-looking Mirror Mirror, which came and went from theaters earlier this year, making $160 million overall, most of it overseas. That?s not bad ? and probably better box office than the film really deserved. What is my point? My point is that Julia barely works these days, and when she does, it?s rarely some critical darling or huge hit. So if an out-of-work A-lister quits Hollywood, does anyone even care? Well, that?s sort of the point of this Enquirer story. Julia might ?quit? Hollywood because she wants to be a hippie in Hawaii. Who doesn?t?
Julia Roberts has gone from glamorous A-list superstar to country bumpkin at her Malibu eco-mansion ? and now friends say she?s ready to quit TinselTown altogether to run a sustainable farm in Hawaii.
Julia, 44, raises chicken and goats, using the eggs and milk to feed her family. She also grows organic lettuce, celery, squash and tomatoes, and she fig, lemon, peach, avocado and orange trees on her property.
?Julia has been into healthy eating for some time, but she got even more interested in it after deciding to lose the 10 pounds she gained while playing the Evil Queen in ?Mirror, Mirror?,? said the course. ?Julia became really fanatical about the food her family was eating ? everything had to be organic or homegrown if possible. She?s even considering moving to Hawaii where her family vacations every year, so they can live off the land, bask in the sun and surf 365 days a year.?
Julia?s Earth Mother ways aren?t limited to food. She?s banned all plastic, gets 85 percent of her home?s energy from solar panels, and she and her husband Danny Moder both drive hybrid cars.
Julia also hates using e-mail and social networks like Facebook and Twitter and won?t let her kids ? twins Hazel and Finn, 7, and Henry, 5 ? go online. She also severely limits their TV viewing time.

I?m assuming that Julia is not out there, toiling in her fields day after day? She has a farming staff, right? And does she really grow all of that stuff on her Malibu estate? That seems less like a vegetable patch and more like? I don?t even know. And it?s all in Malibu? That?s some valuable real estate, so those are like the most precious vegetables ever. ELITIST! No, I get it. I mean, I understand how someone (rich) could say, ?Screw this Malibu mansion and exquisite Malibu farm, I?m going to go be a hippie in Hawaii and surf every day and run a sustainable farm.? Just as a reminder, this chinstrocity is currently the highest paid actress in Hollywood. She looks like Eddie Furlong in drag, and her best acting to date was the forty-five minutes she spent frozen and speechless in “Zathura,” but she still made more than Angelina Jolie or Charlize Theron did last year. You’d think with all that money, she’d be able to afford a stylist. Or at least a full-length mirror and a hair brush.

The "Last Song" starlet showcased her enviable figure while clad in workout attire consisting of black leggings, an off-the-shoulder grey top, a chic bag and sunglasses.
The sweat session comes a Miss Cyrus garnered herself a nomination for the quickly approaching 2012 Do Something Awards.
Of the 19-year-old's bid as a Twitter topping individual, DoSomething.org staffers posted a message reading: ?Miley urged her 5.7 million twitter followers to each donate $5 to The Onyx and Breezy Foundation animal charities, which seek to promote the humane treatment animals.?
Winners will be crowned during a "New Girl" hosted ceremony set to air on August 21st on VH1.

The "Dip it Low" singer was hard to miss in a neon green baseball hat that matched her tennis shoes, a patterned tank top, and a bedazzled fanny pack. Violet looked sleepy in the shaded stroller, wearing a Pink shirt and jean shorts.
The R&B pop star tweeted earlier, "Bout to do a Mommy Daughter morning hike! We're gonna get it in!"
Tragedy, however, befell the 30-year-old singer last week when she lost her dog Sherah to cancer. She tweeted on July 3rd "RIP My sweet Sherah...she's now in Doggy heaven."
