Both US Magazine and People have stories about a budding romance between Nina Dobrev, 27, and Scott Eastwood, 30. (I could have sworn Scott was younger than that.) Scott has posted photos with Nina on his social media, including one after the Teen Choice Awards last August (when Nina was engaged) and another from Coachella this weekend. In case you might assume they’re just friends, People has a confirmation along with some insider quotes about how it’s casual for now. Of course it’s casual, this is Scott Eastwood we’re talking about. Nina just split with her fiance, Austin Stowell, earlier this year.
Scott’s dating history is varied and he’s been linked to country singer Jana Kramer and Playboy model Brittany Brousseau (whom he met at Coachella a couple of years ago). Last year he was rumored to be dating Charlotte McKinney (of the Hardees ads) but sources denied that it was serious and said they just hung out a couple of times, just like this potential hookup with Nina Dobrev:
[Nina Dobrev] has been casually hanging out with actor Scott Eastwood, 30, a source tells PEOPLE exclusively.
“They’re flirty and have been spending some time together,” says the source, who adds that it’s “not serious.”
Dobrev ? who split from actor Austin Stowell earlier this year ? have been friends for a while…
On Saturday, the duo were spotted partying together at Neon Carnival (sponsored by Levi’s, Re/Done and Tequila Don Julio) with friends including Derek Hough and Josh Hutcherson.
“They were all in great spirits and had a blast dancing together,” says an onlooker.

Last year, Eastwood told People Magazine that he might settle down “someday” and that his laundry list for a potential relationship included “Trust, similar passions ? and the sex has to be great.” He added that “If any one of these things is off, it just might not work.” He also complained in an interview around that time about a “chick” he was “casually dating” who “came to my house all she could talk about was money.” I get the impression that casual dating is all Eastwood does while Dobrev seems to prefer more committed relationships, judging by her history. Maybe this is just a fun fling for them though. I hope Dobrev does her homework on Eastwood.

Hot on the heels of Nicole Beharie?s sudden exit from Sleepy Hollow ? an exit that should not have surprised anyone, considering her vocal displeasure over the years ? comes another high profile ?split.? Stana Katic is leaving the long-running ABC drama Castle. Since I have a bizarre affection for police procedurals of varying quality, I?ll admit that I?ve pretty much seen every episode of Castle seasons 1-6. I like Nathan Fillion and I always thought he and Stana had a lot of chemistry together, although there were always rumors that they hated each other from the very beginning of the show, and that Fillion was sort of a diva about screen-time. Now that Stana is suddenly leaving, those rumors have cropped up again.
There’s a major change underway on ABC’s Castle. Leading lady Stana Katic and fellow original star Tamala Jones are exiting the ABC procedural, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. Meanwhile, the network and producers ABC Studios are in talks with lead Nathan Fillion to return for a potential ninth final season. While the drama has not yet been renewed for a ninth season, producers are considering multiple avenues to shake up the aging procedural and renew the series for a ninth season.
“Kate Beckett has been a beloved character on our hit series Castle for the past eight years. We are grateful for Stana Katic’s talent and dedication to the series and we hope to continue our relationship,” ABC said in a statement. “Tamala Jones has also been an integral part of the series and we are grateful she was a part of Castle.”
News that Katic would exit the drama ahead of season nine should come as little surprise. Sources tell THR that the actress, who negotiated a last-minute return for season eight, has been unhappy on the series and has had repeated clashes with lead Fillion. That led producers to split up the on-screen couple this season ? drawing the ire of dedicated fans who had been waiting eight years for the couple to marry. Insiders stress that it was ABC and ABC Studios’ decision to let Katic and Jones exit the series as they look for avenues to reduce costs on the pricey drama and return it for a ninth season.

THR goes on to say that ABC is looking to do more police procedurals like Castle, and that ABC is starting to get a bit wary of focusing so much on the ?prime time soap opera? shows. As in, they?re looking to move beyond the Shonda Rhimes model of prime time programming, which is a development just as interesting as the Stana-Nathan beef. As I said, I love a good police procedural, and one of my saddest days as a TV viewer was when NBC dragged the corpse of Law & Order out into the woods and buried it. I do think that the world needs more police procedurals, damn it! And not of the CSI-variety.
As for the Stana-Nathan beef? I want to believe Nathan Fillion is a good guy, but the stories about the on-set drama over the years have made me wonder about him.

Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West at JFK Airport over the weekend. No, I have no idea what Kim is wearing in these photos. This is how girls dressed circa 1996 ? satin slip dresses over t-shirts or turtlenecks. I can?t believe that look is coming back, but it might be. This is not the best example of it though! Anyway, Kim and Yeezy were flying out of New York to go to? Iceland! I don?t know if it?s an E-sponsored trip, but apparently the trip involves Kim, Kanye and Kourtney. They left their kids at home ? allegedly, Aunt Khloe is looking after the whole brood. Aunt Khloe probably needs a stiff drink right about now. You can see some photos of Kim in Iceland here. She wore a nude jumpsuit and a fur coat and she looked totally deranged.
Meanwhile, Aunt Khloe?s talk show has been canceled, but Kim and Kanye have already taped their part of Khloe?s last show. It?s basically just Kim, Khloe, Kanye, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend sitting around a table talking about babies and stuff. But Kim did say something interesting ? she?s already stopped breastfeeding four-month-old Saint West! It?s because North West was so jealous.
Kim Kardashian has revealed she stopped breastfeeding Saint because her daughter North West was jealous. When Khloe asked if Kim was still breastfeeding, the 35-year-old replied: ?Nope. North West stopped that for me. She would cry so much and try to pull him off me. She was so jealous she took her little milk box and put it in my bra with the straw sticking out and she wanted to drink while he was drinking. This week she goes to me ?Mommy I’m not mad anymore, you can feed baby brother I won’t cry? and I was like ?look honey, the milk is all dried up.??

I?m guessing that sibling jealousy is a real thing that happens to parents around the world, but it seems pretty extreme to stop breastfeeding your baby just because the older kid is jealous. Man, Kim has her hands full. Here?s that clip:
And here?s a clip of Kanye basically admitting that he bought his first phone after he heard about Kim?s engagement to Kris Humphries and he was basically trying to convince Kim to dump Kris. I mean? we?ve heard before that there was overlap between Kris and Kanye, but Kanye really sounds like he was doing everything to convince Kim not to get married.

Bazaar has a new “day in the life” feature with Liv Tyler. Tyler is currently pregnant with her third child. She made the announcement in January so I assume she’s due sometime this summer. I love Liv but the hourly play-by-play she gave Bazaar of her average day is a bit exhaustive. She divides her time between New York, where she lives when she’s filming, and London, where her fiancee, David Gardner, is currently living. She told Bazaar that she spends about a week in London every month and is moving there in September. The nice thing about Liv is that she gushes about the people who work for her, including her assistant, trainer and chef, and mentions them all by name. She also owns up to some seriously indulgent practices including two hour baths every night and hiring a manicurist to come over after her kids are asleep. She lives a charmed life.
On being pregnant
I’m pregnant now, I’m allowed to eat what I want, which is really fun. It’s crazy?I’ve been pregnant for two years straight. I feel more balanced when I’m pregnant, strangely, and less pressured. It’s like a nine-month vacation when I can prioritize being home.
Her fitness routine
In New York I work out with my trainer, David Kirsch, either in the morning or later on. Since I’m pregnant again, we do light weights and the medicine ball, but I take it easy.
Her assistant helps her with her work with fashion brand Belstaff
She was Alexander McQueen’s assistant until he passed away, so she’s great at helping me understand the fashion side of things.
Her afternoons
In New York, I have this incredible cook and superwoman, Claudia, so I’ll eat at home and run errands while Sailor naps
She loves to take photos
I take hundreds of photos every day and send David tons of videos of Sailor doing something crazy, like right now he’s whirling a pot around. I also love to FaceTime with my grandmother. She is so sweet with her correspondence. She calls me “Baby Girl,” which became “BG,” and signs her texts “With devotion.”
She takes two hour baths at night and watches movies while she’s in the tub
I’m a major bath person. It’s a full-on couple-hour process every night, while the boys watch football or after they go to sleep. I add salts and Kneipp oil to the water, put a face mask on, and exfoliate my skin with gloves. I wash my hair with Pantene every other day unless I have gorgeous hair left over from an event… I can read a script in one bath, and sometimes I’ll pull up a stool and watch a movie on my computer while I soak.
She drinks wine with her manicurist at night
My favorite thing is to get my nails done or get a facial. Nobody can find you for an hour. This amazing woman Gina comes to the house and does my nails while the kids are asleep, and we sit on the couch and drink wine.

Liv’s life sounds amazing and I enjoyed how grateful she is for all the people who help her out. I can’t believe she takes two hour baths every night that’s incredible. Also, I just learned a life hack for watching movies in the tub – get a stool and put your computer next to the bath. I’ve never thought of that, although I can only bathe for about 20 minutes before guilt sets in and I start thinking of all the things I have to do. Liv also says that she does transcendental meditation for about 20 minutes every night. She enjoys her down time that’s for sure.

It always sort of amazes me that Sophie Turner was cast in Game of Thrones when she was just 13 years old, and she?s grown up to be such a tall, regal-looking young woman. I also think it?s amazing that she looks so much like Michelle Fairley, who played her mother Catelyn Stark on GoT. I?m just saying, Sophie was a great casting choice. And while I love the vibe of Sophie?s editorial for The Edit, I don?t get why they did her hair this way? The vibe could have been faux-Victorian lady-of-the-manor, but then they just screwed up her hair so badly. Anyway, Sophie is promoting GoT as well as X-Men: Apocalypse, where she plays a young Jean Gray. You can read the full interview here at The Edit. Some highlights:
Her mom put her in a drama class when she was little: ?She just wanted a place to put us kids so she could go and hang out with her friends and basically stay sane, so my brothers [James, 28 and Will, 26] went to rugby and Mum sent me to drama class?.I wouldn?t say hello or goodbye to anyone? I was so nervous that I would shake and nearly pee myself before I went on stage. The reason I kept on was that it was an excuse to go somewhere on a Saturday and swear and kiss boys. You get so much freedom from acting ? no boundaries, no judgement.?
Auditioning for GoT at the age of 13: ?I?d go into my mum?s room every night crying, saying, ?If I don?t get this I?m not going back to school! This is everything to me!? But then I got it, and it was the best day of my life ? it still is.?
She cares about Sansa: ?I really care about this character; she?s like my best friend, my other half. I worry for [Sansa] because she?s a real person to me. I?m constantly saying to David and Dan [Benioff and Weiss], ?What?s going to happen to her? You have to tell me!? I almost think about her more than I do myself. It?s like a split personality; sometimes I slip into her by mistake.?
She?s been exposed to everything through the show: ?It was brutal. I remember being at the read-through and being like, ?Oh my God!? But once I had watched the first season, I was numb to it all.?
The new season: ?This season blows my mind! A lot happens to Sansa and by the end of it she?s totally different. She has to take command because Theon [Greyjoy, played by Alfie Allen, who assisted Sansa in her escape from Winterfell at the end of season five] is a shell of the man he was, so this is her realizing that she has to take things into her own hands. Until now, it?s just been about her survival and seeing her family again, but last season broke her, so I think she is gunning for revenge now, too.?
Getting to work with Jennifer Lawrence on X-Men: ?[Jennifer] was like, ?I?m so excited to work with you, I love Game of Thrones!? She was amazing, a lot of fun. But because she was shooting other movies she was going back and forth on weekends, so while the rest of us were going out and partying, she had to work. We all felt bad for her, she was exhausted.?
She asked Famke Janssen for her blessing to play Jean Gray: ?I would hate someone else to play Sansa, so I can?t imagine how Famke feels. I emailed her straight away to say, ?Are we cool?? I thought she did an incredible job so I said, ?I hope I can do justice to your character.? She sent me such a lovely reply ? ?I?m handing that honor over to you? ? that I cried.?
Getting a trainer for X-Men: ?Before I got [the trainer], I went through a bit of a dark place, I was not happy with myself. I think for me, and for every young girl out there, body image is such a big thing, especially if you are in the public eye. People comment on [your appearance] and… Eugh. So when I was forced to get into shape and eat healthily, my skin cleared up and I felt energetic all the time. It totally changed me.?

This just reminded me of how the GoT producers chose really well when they were casting the kids and the younger adults. Between Sophie, Maisie Williams and the kid who plays Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright), they got smart kids who have been able to transition to young-adulthood with a great deal of grace. Sophie also told The Edit that she can?t say if Sansa is going to make it through this season (but she has to, right?), and that Jon Snow is super-dead. Like, really dead dead dead. Also, Famke Janssen sounds like a nice person.
