Here are pictures of Katie Holmes at last night’s afterparty for the opening of Dead Accounts on Broadway. I decided that showing Katie’s happy, beaming face in the above photograph would prepare you for a full shot of her dress, which is below, and it is atrocious. First though, here’s an update on Suri, who is back in town after allegedly visiting Tiny Tyrant Tom Cruise, who somehow managed to be on the All You Need Is Kill set over the entire weekend. Wherever she went (and I’m still not certain), Suri is back strutting the streets with Katie, who was wearing a really great red coat a few days ago. Suri almost lost her favorite stuffed rabbit, but it was retrieved just in time before their cab pulled away. That poor bunny could really use a run through the washing machine, but that’s just the germaphobe in me talking.
Now onto Katie’s appearance last night. I actually do like the fabric of this dress in theory, but the cut is quite matronly, and Katie could have pulled off a more youthful look for her big celebration night. Also, whatever’s going on in the “bib” area is really a deal breaker. So awful. Otherwise, she looks good with her long, flowing, and lovely hair. The makeup (especially the eyeliner) is a bit heavy-handed, but I’m assuming that a lot of it is leftover from her stage makeup for the evening.
Really though, I’m so happy for her Katie Holmes. She broke away from Tom, and she’s finally back to doing what she wanted to do — act onstage. Here’s a photo from the curtain call with Josh Hamilton, Norbert Leo Butz, and Jayne Houdyshell as well. Katie needs to get with this Norbert dude even if it’s only a fling.

Surprise, surprise, Miley Cyrus has been tweeting again. This time though, it’s not all about emo declarations, duck lips, and hair. Instead, Miley is posting photos of her adorable new rescue puppy, which is a teacup dog of some sort (anyone know what breed?) that Miley has named Penny Lane. Miley is a huge dog person and even takes her dogs along for plane trips when she visits Liam Hemsworth on set. Although supposedly, Miley has insisted that she and Liam’s pre-nuptial agreement cover cover custody arrangements for the dogs, so these are really her babies. And that’s fine because if it keeps Miley from deciding to have a few bandaid (human) babies to keep Liam’s attention in a few years, so be it. Isn’t Penny Lane the cutest though? Just to give you an idea of how tiny this dog really is, here’s a picture of Penny Lane next to one of Miley’s other dogs.
Here are some more photos of Miley’s various pups. As far as I know, all of these dogs are either of the stray or rescue variety, and she’s also been honored by PETA (if that means anything at all) with a cute pet pig. Say what you want about Miley and her attention-seeking antics, but I’ll take a celeb who promotes adoption of rescue dogs over one who pays $12,000 for a Goldendoodle any day.

From what I know of Kuwait (which is honestly not that much), it?s one of the more ?modern? countries in the Middle East. Which means a lot when you?re talking about women?s issues, specifically when seen through the prism of Islam. Still, if I was visiting Kuwait, I would still make the effort to dress and act conservatively. I?m not saying I would wear a hijab, I?m just saying? I would cover my cleavage and try to show some modesty out of respect. When in Rome, and all that. Or ?when in Kuwait City? as it is.
So here are some photos of Kim opening a Millions of Milkshakes shop at a huge mall in Kuwait City yesterday. True, this outfit is ?modest?? for Kim?s usual trashy, showy style. But I?m still kind of uncomfortable with all of the skin she?s showing. Maybe that?s wrong on my part? maybe what she?s doing here is incredibly feminist, only in a famewhore-y way that is hard to recognize. Kuwaiti religious figures are pissed off because? you know. She?s a twice-divorced, scantily-clad woman famous for a sex tape. Kuwaiti cultural activists are pissed off too because Kuwait regularly bans artists, musicians and actors from entering the country and Kim?s entrance is being called an ?unacceptable hypocrisy.?
Something nice: Kim was mobbed by fans at the shop opening, and I genuinely think it?s nice that she made the effort to personally go to Kuwait to open a milkshake shop. You know? Real celebrities (meaning, movie stars) wouldn?t do that. Kim posed for lots of photos, she signed autographs and made milkshakes. She has fans there, and she treated them with respect.
Next stop for Kim? Bahrain. And the Bahrainis are PISSED. Bahrain?s Parliament tried to pass a resolution banning Kim from stepping foot on Bahrain?s soil, but the resolution didn?t pass. I wonder why it didn?t pass? Could it be that many of the politicians actually watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians?
PS? That gold belt is hideous.

These photos are from?? WENN has the date as the 29th, but I think the ARIA Awards actually took place on the 28th. But the event was in Sydney, Australia and the International Date Line confuses me, so let?s just say these pics are from sometime this week, at the ARIA Awards. I saw the pics yesterday, but WENN didn?t get them in until today, and I?m so happy because I really wanted to talk about them.
Taylor Swift was the big ?get? at the awards show, and of course she dressed like a pretty princess, America?s Virginal Pop Princess, yet again. Swifty is wearing Elie Saab? is it just me, or is this a particularly awful shade of cream/ivory? It doesn?t look ?crisp?. It looks like? bandages. OLD, used bandages. I think this dress is also a bad choice because it?s just further evidence that Taylor Swift DID get bolt-ons around April or May of this year.
When we first started talking about in May of this year, there were a lot of Bolt-On Deniers, and a lot of you said that Swifty is still young, and maybe she just grew them magically overnight and it was all completely natural. I considered your point, and agreed that it might have some validity, mostly because I went up a bra size in my early 20s too. But it didn?t happen overnight, and it didn?t happen without me gaining weight all over, you know? Swifty went from an A-cup to a C-cup (at least) within the span of two weeks.
And now these photos? this is the first time Swifty has worn something this low-cut in months and months. And now we know why. Because that, ladies, is a boob job. Those look like obvious implants to me.
Obviously, her body, her choice, etc. I?m not judging her for getting a boob job. I am, however, giving her a side-eye for getting a boob job all while promoting cotton-candy-sprinkles and sparkle-ponies to young girls.

These are some photos of Ellen Barkin at LAMCA about a month ago, and I would venture a guess that Ellen is probably wearing a Gucci dress since that was basically the whole event. Ellen looks a bit tweaked here (which, sadly, is nothing new these days for her), but her bod looks fantastic. Looks certainly aren’t everything though, and word on the tabloid street is that Ellen is a nightmare on the set of her new television show, “The New Normal.” I wonder if she’s always just like this or if this is something new. Back in 1993, the New York Times painted a wonderful portrait of her: “A visit with Ellen Barkin is not like a visit with a typical movieland diva: no sign of pampered, baroque behavior.” So should we believe this new, nasty Ellen really exists? Here’s the story from Star:

“Ellin is always barking at her castmates and cursing out the crew,” the insider tells Star exclusively. “One time she blasted the poor sound guy, spewing out a string of profanities.” Ellen plays snooty, condescending Jane Forrest on the popular show — which may not be much of s stretch.
“She insists on only high-end designer clothes,” snipes the spy. “At first the crew let it go because she’s famous, but now they are getting fed up,” reveals the spy, adding that producers are also wondering if the show’s success is a gift … or a curse! “The cast is worried that they will be stuck with her bizarre behavior for many seasons to come!”

Hmm, I wonder where Kaiser would place Ellen on the diva scale. Probably somewhere between Jennifer Lopez and Gwyneth Paltrow. I always wonder if diva behavior (especially if it’s new) stems from problems at home. Maybe she and her late 20s boytoy aren’t getting along so well. Or maybe Ellen’s still upset that she couldn’t get into Henry Cavill’s pants. Yeah, that’s gotta be the answer. Get in line, Ellen!

These are some new photos of Jessica Simpson, Eric Johnson and baby Maxwell at LAX yesterday. I guess they were? arriving? Probably. These are the first pics we?ve had of Jessica since Us Weekly proclaimed ? in their cover story this week ? that Jessica is knocked up again. The Enquirer has a big story about it too, for all of you prissy anti-tabloid people who endlessly cry ?Why are you using the Enquirer as a source?!? Because the Enquirer is right sometimes, that?s why. The Enquirer says Jessica is nine weeks along, and Us Weekly only says that she?s still in her first trimester. Considering there hasn?t been a hardcore denial from Jessica or her people, I think it?s accurate. Plus, she?s making sure her midsection is pretty covered up in these photos ? and we remember her first pregnancy, don?t we? She started showing, like, ten minutes after conception.
As we discussed yesterday, Jessica?s pregnancy will definitely mess up her Weight Watchers contract, which never fails to amuse me (how many times did I say that WW was going to rue the day they signed Jessica?). But this pregnancy might have also messed up Jessica?s nuptial timeline. Many thought that Jessica and Eric were waiting to marry until she lost the baby weight, so what now? Well, Radar says it might happen sooner than we think:
A surprise second pregnancy isn?t enough to deter Jessica Simpson?s wedding plans. RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the singer-turned-actress-turned fashion-designer still wants to get married before she has her second child.
Simpson, 32, had planned to walk down the aisle with former NFL beau Eric Johnson before Christmas ? but is now delaying her big day because her best friend Cacee Cobb is getting married in December instead!
?Jessica wanted to get married before Christmas and was thinking of a date in December,? a source close to the Simpson family told RadarOnline.com. ?But then Cacee set a date with Donald (Faison) for December, her father was caught up in the gay scandal and then she found out she was pregnant. Her plans were derailed and the wedding became a secondary detail with everything that was going on in her life.?
?However, she still wants to get married soon and is seriously considering marrying Eric before her baby is due. Jessica isn?t concerned about her baby bump showing in the wedding pictures and feels she has put off her nuptials for far too long. Date-wise, she?s thinking before next summer, possibly February or March,? the insider divulged.
As RadarOnline previously reported Jessica is expecting baby number 2, just seven months after she gave birth to her daughter Maxwell. The National Enquirer revealed that Jessica and Eric recently discovered The Dukes of Hazzard star is pregnant again.
Jess gave birth to Maxwell on May 1 and has been over the moon in love with her baby, but the Enquirer says she?s nervous about becoming a mother again.
?Jessica is only nine weeks into this pregnancy,? a source close to the Simpson family told the Enquirer. ?She?s trying to keep it a secret until she makes it safely through her first trimester.?

I don?t really get why it wasn?t a big deal to get married before Maxwell was born, but suddenly it?s a big deal to get married before this one comes out. But sure, sooner rather than later, why not? I would love to see Jessica and Eric get married. Mostly because I just want to know what she?ll serve. Ten kinds of cake! Nachos! Brownies! Pop Tarts!
By the way, how cute is Maxi? She?s enchanted by the cameras. She?s a very photogenic baby too.

Teaming up for a stylish night in the spotlight, the stars of "Deadfall" hit the red carpet for their film's Hollywood premiere on Thursday (November 29).
Among the famous faces gathered at ArcLight Cinemas for the Magnolia Pictures backed screening were the always-gorgeous Olivia Wilde and her equally stunning co-star, Kate Mara, as well as their suit clad male castmates, Eric Bana and Charlie Hunnam.
As for the quartet's big screen effort, the Stefan Ruzowitzky directed production "follows two siblings who decide to fend for themselves in the wake of a botched casino heist, and their unlikely reunion during another family's Thanksgiving celebration."
The crime drama - which also stars Sissy Spacek and Kris Kristofferson - is slated for a limited U.S. release on Friday, December 7th.

Exuding that newlywed glow, Jessica Biel stopped by "Conan" to talk about her new movie "Playing for Keeps" on Wednesday (November 29).
The "7th Heaven" star looked radiant in red in a short sleeveless dress while she laughed with the hilarious host. During the chat, the 30-year-old actress talked about movies and her tomboy youth.
After Conan reveals that "Goonies" was shot in the same theater where he tapes, she exclaims, "That is one of my absolute favorite movies. I grew up with that movie and movies like 'Stand by Me,' 'E.T.,' basically just all the cool boy adventure movies."
Admitting she did have dolls, Jessica says, "I had Barbies for a minute, but they didn't really stick around very long. I ended up mutilating them - pulling their heads off, cutting off all their hair, dying them with markers and sticking them on the Christmas tree lights. And they'd like up like these demonic heads."
After the show, she tweeted, "Of all the red headed 6'4" Irishmen that I know, @conanobrien is definitely my favorite. Happy to be on tonight." Watch the interview below.

The reality diva showed some skin in the largely Muslim country wearing heels and a cream colored knee-length dress with cutaways near her cleavage and on her arms while she sipped on a milkshake she helped create.
Excited for her world travels, on Wednesday the 32-year-old star tweeted, "Can't wait to see all my Kuwaiti fans today at Millions of Milkshakes!!!"
However, her trip isn't just all glitz and glamor. On Wednesday, she met with the U.S. Ambassador in Kuwait, posting a photo of the encounter on her Twitter page.

After reports that she's pregnant with a second child emerged, Jessica Simpson and her growing family were spotted at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Thursday (November 29).
The 32-year-old actress looked comfortable in a loose-fitting gray top, black jacket, black leggings, and knee-high heeled black boots as she held baby Maxwell on her hip with hubby Eric Johnson at her side.
A source recently told Us Weekly, "It definitely wasn?t planned. But yes, Jessica is pregnant again."
An unexpected bundle of joy would certainly affect her $3 million Weight Watchers spokesperson deal. In the months since Maxwell's May 1st birth, she's lost an impressive 60 pounds on the program.

During the rant, he mentions having skimmed through the Bible, but then confuses scenes from "The Life of Pi" with Biblical stories.

Next, Alessandra got right back on her diet, saying, "Maintaining a healthy diet is a huge part of the battle when it comes to bouncing back after a baby." Finally, she encourages other moms by sharing, "Anything you can do to get your body moving is a step in the right direction!"

The No Doubt singer looked a bit like Inspector Gadget in a gray trench coat, gray fedora, matching scarf, and black galoshes as she walked her Pomeranian in the rain while her little boy kept dry in a Batman raincoat.
Last Saturday, the band returned to Los Angeles for the first time in three years to perform their first new batch of tunes since 2001. At the Gibson Amphitheatre, the trio is midway through a seven-show run.
Happy to be feeling the energy of the crowds again, on Tuesday the 43-year-old mother-of-two tweeted a photo of herself lounging with the caption, "After show bliss."
