Danny Masterson faced a retrial on three counts of rape this past spring. In late May, he was convicted of two out of three counts, and last week was his sentencing hearing. Notably, Masterson did not speak in his own defense in his trial, nor at his sentencing. Instead, he asked his colleagues and friends to write letters of support to the court. Many of his former costars did just that, including Masterson?s old That ?70s Show costars Debra Jo Rupp, Kurtwood Smith, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis. Ashton and Mila?s letters are getting the most attention because they were the most high-profile people to support Masterson, and because Ashton supposedly cares so much about human trafficking and abuse, just not when his bro is doing all of the raping.
Kutcher and Kunis wrote letters in an effort to urge the judge for a lesser sentencing. In Kutcher?s letter, he referred to Masterson as a ?role model.? In Kunis? letter, she vouched for Masterson?s ?exceptional character? and referred to him as an ?outstanding older brother figure.?
Other stars from ?The 70?s Show? who wrote to the judge include Debra Jo Rupp, who played Kitty on the sitcom, and Kurtwood Smith, who played Red. Masterson?s famous family members wrote letters in his support, including his siblings Alanna Masterson (?The Walking Dead?), Christopher Masterson (?Malcolm In the Middle?), Jordan Masterson (?Last Man Standing?), as well as his brother-in-law Billy Baldwin and his wife, the actor and model, Bijou Phillips. Other Hollywood names who wrote to the judge include actor Giovanni Ribisi; Jim Patterson, creator of Netflix?s ?The Ranch;? Masterson?s former publicist, Jenni Weinman; and TV director, David Trainer, who worked on ?The 70?s Show? and ?The Ranch.?
In Kutcher?s letter, he writes: ?While I?m aware that the judgement has been cast as guilty on two counts of rape by force and the victims have a great desire for justice, I hope that my testament to his character is taken into consideration in sentencing. I do not believe he is an ongoing harm to society and having his daughter raised without a present father would [be] a tertiary injustice in and of itself. Thank you for taking the time to read this.?
Kunis? letter adds: ?I wholeheartedly vouch for Danny Masterson?s exceptional character and the tremendous positive influence he has had on me and the people around him. His dedication to leading a drug-free life and the genuine care he extends to others make him an outstanding role model and friend.?
Both Kutcher and Kunis wrote about Masterson?s drug-free lifestyle, and noted he was a positive force on their lives. During the trial, prosecutors said Masterson drugged women before sexually assaulting them.
?One of the most remarkable aspects of Danny?s character is his unwavering commitment to discouraging the use of drugs. His influence on my in this regard has been invaluable,? Kunis wrote. ?In an industry where the pressures and temptations of substance use can be overwhelming, Danny played a pivotal role in guiding me away from such destructive paths. His dedication to avoiding all substances has inspired not only me but also countless others in our circle. Danny?s steadfastness in promoting a drug-free lifestyle has been a guiding light in my journey through the entertainment world and has helped me prioritize my well-being and focus on make responsible choices.?

I?m including a tweet with Ashton?s letter below it?s wild that he writes ?he is among the few people that I would trust to be alone with my son and daughter.? Not to get too nitpicky, but Masterson was not convicted of child abuse, he was accused and convicted of raping multiple adult women. As for Mila raving about Masterson?s anti-drug lifestyle, Masterson was also credibly accused of drugging several of his victims before he raped them.
So, yeah Ashton and Mila fking suck. I?ve known that for many years, especially about Ashton (who still has me blocked on social media because Ive repeatedly called him a racist and a cheater). Mila and Ashton have shown everybody who they are for years. There?s a theory brewing that Masterson basically threatened them with exposure if they didn?t publicly support him though as in, Masterson knows so many of Ashton?s dirty little secrets, it would be mutually assured destruction if Masterson was ever feeling chatty.

One of the grossest stories of the year was Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis proudly declaring that they rarely bathe their children or themselves. Ashton and Mila?s admission about their refusal to shower and bathe regularly started a larger conversation about white privilege, smelly people and how Jake Gyllenhaal thinks people clean themselves like cats. The thing about Ashton and Mila was especially weird because they didn?t seem to be teaching their kids about regular old hygiene, and they said outright that they didn?t wash their kids until you could see the dirt.
Anyway, now Mila and Ashton are known as dirty celebrities. So whenever they go anywhere in public, people are probably going to say something. So it was over the weekend, when Ashton Kutcher stopped by ESPN?s College GameDay as the celebrity ?picker.? College students and college football fans started a really loud chant: ?Take. A. Shower.?

Yesterday was ?Blackout Tuesday,? and a lot of white celebrities participated in it. Which is missing the point those white celebrities could and should be using their social media to amplify, inform, educate and engage. But so many people did it and many of them weren?t saying much of anything about Black Lives Matter BEFORE the blackout, which is also missing the point. Still, it was absolutely discouraging to see the reaction to all of those black boxes on Instagram and Twitter. The reactions were either ?thank you, you?re doing the most for BLM!? or ?you?re racist because All Lives Matter!? Both of those responses suck.
Anyway, Ashton Kutcher had some time to reflect on the ?All Lives Matter? argument. He made a video, which I cannot access on Twitter because Ashton has had me blocked for years (lol). But I can still access his Instagram, so there you go.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher appeared on at home version of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. They?re promoting their Quarantine Wine, which is apparently very successful, having raised about $1M so far. Since all the profits go to four really good charities, I?m very happy it?s making the money it is. I?d be even happier if Mila and Ashton would stop talking over each other to tell us about it, though. Mila and Ashton are parents to daughter Wyatt, five, and son Dimitri, three. Since it is teacher appreciation week, Jimmy asked them about how their homeschooling efforts were going. Mila said she was a great TA but that Ashton had really found a love of teaching. Theyre also calling in friends via Zoom to teach their kids any lesson of their choice.
How are you with the home schooling?
Mila: The one thing we did do, which I feel is a good hack, is we enlisted our friends to do like 20-minute zoom sessions with our kids. It?d be like teach our kids anything. And it could be anything from making flower arrangements to architecture to anything. And so that gives us 20 minutes of not parenting and also allows our kids to have another type of interaction.
Ashton: And it works really well with people who are single and they?re home, they?re alone, they don?t have kids that they?re chasing around all day. So they?ve got a free 20 or 30 minutes and the kid just engage(s) in them. And so we did like one architecture lesson and we did one recyclable energy lesson and we baked cookies for one, we did a flower arranging for one.
Mila: But we piggy-back off of our kids curriculum. I don?t want to take away, their schools are amazing at helping the parents every week.

Ashton explained their next lesson is about how the human body works with a focus on how long it takes to make poop. Enlisting one?s friend to help teach is a good idea. I remember, long before lockdown when our kids were about Wyatt and Dimitri?s age, my local friend group discussed whether we could make a homeschool situation work with each of us taking a subject. We, of course, thought we were on the precipice of an educational revolution ? until we acknowledged we could handle maybe a week of it and it would all fall apart. But one 20-minute Zoom session on anything I want to teach is right up my alley. I know a lot of grandparents that are reading stories to their grandchildren via Zoom or FaceTime. The families coordinate and get the same books and the child follows along as they grandparent reads. Everyone is so thrilled with it, I know they?ll continue post lockdown. And, as Mila said, it gives the parents a small respite.
I?m sure everyone readily agreed to this arrangement but listening to Ashton describe it (the video is posted below), he almost sounds like he thinks his single friends owe his kids a 20-minute lesson because they have nothing better to do. If his intent was to say that his single friends are stuck at home, alone and desperate for company so they jumped at the opportunity to put together a lesson plan, then great. But if they?re hitting their friends up and guilting them in to giving them a break, they better send a case of their Quarantine Wine as payment for the single person?s time.

Does anyone else consistently forget that Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher named their baby son Dmitri? The baby is only 11 months old! I keep forgetting that A) Mila had a second baby and B) that they named the baby Dmitri, which doesn?t ?go? with their daughter?s name, Wyatt, at all. Anyway, even though Mila and Ashton have been together for years now, and even though they?re married with two young children, we still don?t see much of them on the red carpet together. To be fair, they don?t completely avoid being photographed together – they don?t make it into a ?thing? like some couples. They just rarely walk carpets together. So this was a rare occasion – they attended the Breakthrough Prize Awards at the NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California over the weekend. The awards celebrate the best scientific work of the year, and it?s become an event which many celebrities attend.
Mila wore this Dolce & Gabbana dress to the event, which is the reason why I?m covering this. Does anyone else remember Mila, several years back, when she was killing it on every red carpet? It was around the time she was promoting Black Swan, and her style was pretty amazing throughout that whole tour and awards season. It feels like Ashton and marriage has not been great for her style. Like, I get the idea of this dress, and I?m not opposed to a bustier top with a full-skirted floral bottom. But the reality is that she looks both boobs are wearing tiny little bibs. This would have looked much cuter if the entire thing had been either all-floral or all-black. I hate how this mis-matched/contrasted fabrics look is so ?in? these days.
Something nice: they look very happy together. This was probably their ?date night.?

Even though Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher got pap?d a lot in the past six months or so, it really didn?t feel like we were inundated with news about Mila?s second pregnancy. I have noticed that the tabloids and gossip press tends to go easier with second pregnancies though, so maybe that?s one explanation. Another explanation is that Mila and Ashton just weren?t in everybody?s faces this year. In any case, Mila and Ashton have welcomed their second child: a boy!
Oh, boy: Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are parents again! The married former That ?70s Show costars have welcomed their second child, a son, a rep confirms to PEOPLE.
The new addition was born on Wednesday, Nov. 30. He joins big sister Wyatt Isabelle, 2. A rep for Kutcher, 38, and Kunis, 33 ? who were married in a low-key ceremony in July 2015 ? confirmed the exciting news of their second child on the way exclusively to PEOPLE in June. And in October, Kutcher spilled the beans on baby number two?s sex.
?She points to Mila and she?s like, ?Baby brother!? when she points to the belly,? the star of Netflix?s The Ranch said on the Today show of how Wyatt was preparing to be a big sister.
But Kutcher couldn?t help telling Seth Meyers that he had secretly hoped to have another little girl because he wants a big family.
?First of all ? our first girl is unbelievable. But also I figured if we had a girl second, [Mila] might give me one more shot at having a boy and now I don?t know!? he said on Late Night with Seth Meyers in October. ?It?s even money ? she might cut me off!?

When I was a kid, I was sort of obsessed with when various people?s birthdays fell throughout the year. My birthday generally coincided with the start of the school year, which I actually liked (and I still like my September birthday). But I always felt sorry for the kids who had late November birthdays, because it felt like they had ?Thanksgiving birthdays? and who wants a birthday party with (leftover) turkey? As an adult though, I think Thanksgiving birthdays sound rather nice. Those are the kids and adults who probably get to see their families for their birthdays every year. And who doesn?t like leftover turkey?
Also: do you think Ashton and Mila will have another one? If he wants another, I think he?ll probably be able to talk her into it.

I think Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher chose the wrong evening to announce their second pregnancy. While most of us were focused on The TIDDLES, Mila and Ashton?s reps quietly confirmed her second pregnancy. Unlike Blake Lively?s second pregnancy, my gossip sixth sense was all ?meh? about Mila and Ashton. I had no vibes ahead of time, but maybe that?s because I stopped paying attention to Mila and Ashton? So, yeah, they?re having a second baby.
There?s another baby on the way for Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis! The actors are expecting their second child, her rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively. The couple, who married last July, are already parents to 20-month-old daughter Wyatt Isabelle.

He?s a happily married man with an adorable baby girl, so it?s no wonder Ashton Kutcher can?t seem to stop smiling these days.
The ?Two and a Half Men? hunk dropped by ?The Ellen DeGeneres Show? on Wednesday (March 2) to talk about his secret wedding to Mila Kunis to avoid paparazzi attention- ?It's a legitimate concern. I was, like, posting things on social media that were in different locations to avoid that, because we didn't want to be screaming our vows at each other and be like, 'Forever!? 'Did you say never?' We didn't want to do that thing, so we went really under the radar with it."
As for his 17-month-old girl Wyatt, Ashton shared, "She loves dancing. She's down with dancing. I mean, if I sing 'The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round,' she loses it. That's her thing. She just loves it when the wheels go round. We go to the playground and she gets on the little steering wheel on the playground thing, and the wheels go round. She gets excited. She likes to 'Whip and Nae Nae,' too. I think she thinks she's doing it, because it's whippin' and whippin' and nae-nae-ing. Mama taught her that."
