Always willing to lend her celebrity for a good cause, Lauren Conrad was spotted at the children?s benefit in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday night (December 15).
The ?LA Candy? babe looked cute and casual as she posed for pictures solo and also with two special guests, Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
The event, which was sponsored by Disney on Ice and AEG, was called ?Let?s Celebrate? and was in support of the Starlight Children?s Foundation.
Later in the night, Ms Conrad tied on some ice skates and carefully skated around the ice rink at L.A. LIVE.

Stepping out of her comfort zone, Leighton Meester stars as Chiles Stanton, an up-and-coming country singer in ?Country Strong.? And she said the performance-heavy role was a bit nerve-wracking.
The ?Gossip Girl? actress explained, "It's terrifying and it's just, it's an incredible adrenaline rush. It's not bad, by any means, it's just terrifying."
She continued, ?I've never done what Chiles does [in the film]: get up onstage and not a single note comes out. That hasn't happened. For her, that was another aspect that was incredibly fulfilling. She changes. She starts off a certain way and she ends up completely the other way. She grows up."
As for her new album, Leighton seemed sketchy about a release date. "I don't know. I recorded three songs recently. I have, like, 20 more to do. So I don't know when that's going to happen. I just really want it to be perfect. I'm not in any rush. It's all in my heart, and I'm really happy how it's going. I've been very inspired, even with this movie, how I write."

So I thought it would be cute to use some older photos of Liz Hurley and Hugh Grant to illustrate this story about how Liz homewrecked her own marriage to Arun Nayar, and how Hugh Grant has already ?stopped by? Liz?s house to pay his respects (with his dong). Anyway, as I was looking through the old photos, I was transported to a time when they were a seriously hot couple. The photo of Hugh?s hand on Liz?s leather-clad ass is my favorite, I think. Anyway, yes, Hugh has stopped by, and Liz has already done a round of post-split photo ops (see here at The Mail) - and surprisingly enough, the British tabloids aren?t really smearing her. Yet. Probably because they know she?s good for scandal, and because everyone secretly wants her back with Hugh anyway.
There are some new developments in Liz and Arun?s marriage drama. According to British sources, they are set to do a ?quickie divorce? and neither Liz nor Arun will be asking for financial support from the other. Arun?s family has allegedly cut off Arun for the most part, so Liz walks away from the marriage with more money, maybe. A source says: ?’It will be an amicable settlement with no party giving out large portions of money to anybody. Liz doesn?t want Arun?s money and neither is Arun interested in her wealth.? Also: apparently, Liz called the Nayar family in India to personally apologize for being a dirty whore with the Australian Paris Hilton, Shane Warne. Another source says: ?’Liz was very matter-of-fact. She just said that there are certain irreparable differences between her and Arun and that she intends to separate from him. She also said that she?s sorry.? I?m sure that call was AMAZING. Anyway, the American tabloids are getting into it too - Us Weekly has a report that Liz?s ?we separated months ago? story wasn?t the whole truth:
Elizabeth Hurley’s marital drama isn’t quite over yet. After the model-turned-actress, 45, was photographed kissing Australian cricket player Shane Warne, 41, she Tweeted that she and businessman hubby of three years Arun Nayar had “separated a few months ago.” (Warne made a similar announcement about his marriage shortly after.)
But a source tells UsMagazine.com the split wasn’t exactly that clean.
“They had been having marriage problems for some time, but Arun wasn’t prepared to give up so easily,” says the insider. “Liz, on the other hand, gave up and didn’t tell her husband. Instead she went out and found someone else and then broke the news to him. He is gutted.”
Behind the breakup? “He wanted children so badly,” says the insider, while Hurley, who had son Damian with Steve Bing in 2002, “didn’t want to go through the pain of IVF. Liz doesn’t compromise, everything was her way or no way.”
Now, says the source, Nayar is scared he won’t be able to see Hurley’s son. “He doesn’t want to lose Damian,” says the insider. “They are so close — he is ‘Daddy’ to Damian. And he’s embarrassed that his marriage fell apart so publicly. He feels Liz intentionally humiliated him.”
As for Hurley’s new romance, “It’s a rebound,” sniffs the insider. “They’ll be over before you know it.”

Of course Liz and Shane have to be over soon. Liz and Hugh FOREVER. But seriously, as I was looking through the old photos, there are so many of Hugh and Liz hanging out post-breakup (their breakup), and lots of Hugh hanging out with Damien, his godson. THIS is why Hugh hasn?t been able to ?settle down? with a woman since Liz (although he did last a while with Liz-lookalike Jemima Khan). Because he and Liz still live in each other?s pockets, so to speak. Another way to say it? They?re still stuck up each other?s asses.

Nick Cannon announced on his 92.3 Now radio show this morning that he and wife Mariah Carey are expecting more than one baby in the spring. Repeat, Nick announced it. Without Mariah’s express written consent. There’s throwing caution to the wind, and then there’s giving the wind the finger and farting in its general direction. Us Magazine says:
“I didn’t even tell my wife I was gonna do this,” he admitted. “I’m probably gonna get yelled at for not getting permission… we are having twins!”
[Cannon revealed that] the very first folks in the world to know about the twins were President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama! After recently performing for the First Family for a White House Christmas special, Carey met with the Obamas backstage, Cannon said.
She hadn’t told anybody anything! Because of the excitement and emotion, she shared [the news] with the President and the First Lady.”
There aren’t enough diamond-studded Hello Kitty accessories in the world for Nick to make up for stealing Mariah’s twin thunder like that. And for the record, this marks the first time I’ve used the words “twin thunder” in a Mariah Carey post without referencing her thighs.

But anyway, let?s get to the fashion - Jolie is wearing black (sailor?!?) pants, a simple black top, and this absolutely HIDEOUS fuzzy elbow-length sweater, in a ghastly shade of buttery blah. Dear Angelina: WEAR A MOTHERTRUCKING JEWEL TONE. Oh, and the bangs trauma? Eh. It?s not as bad as it?s been before, but it?s still not good. This blah, greasy hair might be the worst of the European tour.
You know what?s super-disappointing? Angelina usually wins when she?s doing business-casual gear. That?s her strength, not evening or cocktail. This outfit just sucks.

During his radio show, Cannon confirmed that they?ll be parents to not one, but two beautiful babies in the months ahead.
Nick explained, "In order for my wife and I to have our life, we need to be up front and I need to be able to share things with you and be real. I didn't even tell my wife I was gonna do this. I'm probably gonna get yelled at for not getting permission...We are having twins!"
And apparently President and Mrs. Obama were among the first to know, as Mariah told them while hanging out at the First Family White House Christmas Special. "They actually even questioned my wife about [the twins]. She hadn't told anybody anything! Because of the excitement and emotion, she shared [the news] with the President and the First Lady."

Pamela Anderson may not have the hotness factor going for her at this point, but Photoshop can erase most of her drag queen vibe and restore her to a semblance of her former Baywatch self. Anderson, 43, has earned her 13th Playboy cover with their upcoming January issue, which makes it a new record for the most covers by one woman. There’s no word as to how nude she is inside, but again technology has advanced significantly in all the time that has passed since Pammy should have put it away. Anderson did do a “Dolce Vita” themed photoshoot at the Playboy mansion grotto pool in October, and Playboy.com seems to promise that she’ll be naked inside. I guess older dudes are the only ones left buying magazines. (I am not slamming women’s post-40 hotness factor in any way, just Anderson’s. She’s over the top and has pulled so many half-dressed stunts that I’m over her. I also can’t get over how she does her makeup. She’s a mom but never seems to have advanced, style-wise, past her early 20s.)
US Weekly has some quotes from a poem Anderson pens that’s inside the magazine, and her ‘poem’ is just as ridiculous and full of sexual innuendo as you might expect.

I’m sure Obama is thrilled to have Anderson’s support. She’s thinking of Obama’s “positive parts” that he “spearheaded.” She must be getting some awesome weed in California fueling her sexy deep thoughts about the President and life in general. She’s not as “tapped” as she should be. I’m more interested in hearing what Russian agent Anna Chapman has to say. Now she probably has some excellent seduction and spy tips that she can clearly articulate above a grade school level.
Pamela was reportedly paid only $25,000 for this pictorial. She’s going to donate the money to charity, which may not be the best idea considering that she’s rumored to be bankrupt.
Also, when are Hef’s 20-something sons going to take over Playboy? The dude is not making the best decisions at this point and should hand over the reins already.

Last night was the big premiere of The Tourist in Rome. I wonder why they didn?t do it in Venice, where the film is largely set? Oh, right. There would have been a gondola red carpet. Anyway, keeping with the sketchy hair/goth clothes thing, Angelina wore shades of black for the premiere. This time she didn?t go with sleeve-gloves, though, and opted for what looks like an interesting Carmen Marc Valvo black velvet jacket, loose gray-black silk (?) pants, big hair and red lips. I can honestly say that I don?t hate this look in general - this is pretty much the way I ?dress up? when I have to. My only real complaint is about the pants - they only look nice in motion. When she?s standing still, they look lumpy and unflattering. That?s the way it is with silk and satin. Also, the inseam is screwy.
I will say that much like the German premiere, Jolie looks tired. Too much travel? To much hustle? Too many kids? Whatever. My opinion: the red lipstick is notoriously hard to pull off, but she found a good shade. And the big, teased hair is preferable to her usual old-lady coif.
Oh, and here?s Johnny Depp. Once again, Jolie and Depp didn?t pose together in any photos I could find. Depp isn?t wearing his ?dong sheath? kerchief this time. BOO! But the suit is good.

Last night was the bit premiere of Little Fockers, starring Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, et al. There is a new addition to the cast, though - Jessica Alba. She fancies herself a fashion girl, you know, she continued with this season?s winter-white bridal theme, and wore a tiered Valentino on the red carpet. She?s also changed her hair - it?s darker, shorter and sleeker than her last hairstyle, and I hate to be a bitch (not really), but this hair ages her terribly. Also - her date was her husband Cash Warren. They are still my ?wild card? entry for the next couple to split, although they looked tight on the red carpet. And the shoes are Louboutins, by the way. Can we call expensive shoes like that ?stripper heels?? Because that?s what they?re being called.
By the way, remember Jessica Alba?s interview in Elle Magazine, where she disrespected screenwriters with the comment: ?Good actors, never use the script unless it?s amazing writing. All the good actors I?ve worked with, they all say whatever they want to say.? And then she also disrespected her directors too - from Elle:
?I know I haven?t been swimming in the deep end with some of the movies I?ve done,? she says. ?I wasn?t trying to. I knew what they were.? Alba does, however, offer one clinical reason as to why these movies bombed. She whispers it: ?First-time directors.?

Anyway, LaineyGossip has a follow-up on Alba?s stupidity - she?s claiming that Elle completely misquoted her, and that she never said anything like that. Here are some of the quotes coming out of Alba?s Little Fockers? promotional tour:

If it was just one wonky quote in an otherwise boiler-plate interview, I might believe her. But the entire Elle piece was chock full of Alba-isms, meaning that she?s a conceited, moronic bitch with little to be conceited about, and now she?s throwing Elle under the bus.

Also, Alba?s bitchface was in full effect throughout the red carpet. Why does she look so pissed to be standing next to Robert De Niro, for the love of God? Taking care of some promotional duties, Angelina Jolie was spotted at the premiere of her new movie ?The Tourist? in Rome, Italy last night (December 15).
Joined by her hunky man Brad Pitt, the ?Changeling? actress donned a black Ferragamo velvet jacket with matching heels.
The ?Fight Club? stud was also looking stylish, sporting a Tom Ford black three-piece suit and white button-up shirt.
Earlier this week, Angelina got a chuckle out of her Golden Globe nomination. ?We were laughing because it?s the first time that I?ve been in the comedic category so it?s new for me.?

Showing off her red carpet skills, Jessica Alba was spotted at the premiere of her new film ?Little Fockers? in New York City last night (December 15).
The ?Good Luck Chuck? actress hammed it up with her husband Cash Warren outside the Ziegfeld Theatre, sporting a sleek new hairdo and a strapless white Valentino dress with silver Louboutin heels.
Also in the house for the movie showcase were Jessica?s costars Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Dustin Hoffman, and Teri Polo.
?Little Fockers? is the third film in the ?Meet the Parents? series, and hits theaters nationwide on December 22nd.

It took them four years of dating with a breakup in between before getting engaged, but it sounds as if a wedding may be right around the corner for Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo.
Unwilling to offer any specifics, the former 98 Degrees singer visited The Rachel Ray Show - during which time he hinted that nuptials may take place before we ring in 2011.
Lachey dished, "We're going to be in Cincinnati with family, and hopefully having a white Christmas. We're going to be in Tuscany for New Year's. Who knows, we may be married in Tuscany, too!"
Having already been through the wedding planning process once with ex-wife Jessica Simpson, Nick said that he's leaving everything up to his bride-to-be.
"I just basically told her, I said, 'Tell me where to be, when to be there and what to wear, and I'll be there,'" Nick revealed.
