Selena shared, ?I definitely have so much respect and love for him, and going in the studio [to record ?The Heart Wants What It Wants?] is just very therapeutic? It was my way of having it be a message more to people in general. People everywhere feel this feeling, and they should understand when anybody goes through that.?

The ?Forgetting Sarah Marshall? starlet told host Craig Ferguson that her little daughter Wyatt Isabelle is doing quite well so far as she hasn?t gotten into any trouble yet. Ferguson chimed in that girls are ?easy? up until they hit their teenage years, and Mila replied, ?That?s not my problem. That?s daddy?s problem.?
Previously, a source told E! News, "They are loving being new parents. Ashton is already mentioning baby number two. Mila laughs and tells him to slow down! But she wants another baby and to have it close to Wyatt's age so they can be close."

These are photos of Mark Wahlberg and Rhea Durham The Gambler, which is a remake of the classic 1974 movie starring James Caan. Nobody’s talking about the movie. It’s all about Mark Wahlberg and his desired pardon. Was that intentional? I kept wondering about that last week. Mark should have known that his petition would leak around the same time he needed to promote this film. Critics are underwhelmed by it. That’s the worst kind of movie. You can’t love it or hate it, and Variety reveals that it’s simply a pointless remake: “stylish but disappointingly glib.” So I can buy that Wahlberg is coordinating his crusade for rich man justice to give this film a boost.
Mark’s victim has spoken, by the way. I’ll get to that in a moment. When news of Mark’s petition surfaced, I assumed this was another one of his bucket list items. Simply a feather in the Wahlberg cap after earning many millions of dollars for Entourage and flashy action movies. There was a followup story about how Mark wanted the pardon so he could join the LAPD as a reservist. Without a pardon, he can’t legally operate a gun. Anyway. Mark has done a crap ton of red carpet interviews about why he badly wants that pardon:
To the NY Daily News: “I’ve worked extremely hard for the last 27 years since I woke up sober and realized the horrible mistakes I had made and the horrible pain I had caused so many people Every single day I try to better myself as a person. This is not something I just decided to do overnight, two years later, well I’m a big celebrity so I should feel like I can do whatever I want. No, I’ve worked really hard to be a better person and to be a good influence on kids growing up in situations like mine.
Why he wants a pardon now: “Everyone has an opinion and has a reason why they think I’m doing it. I’ve been working very hard to correct a lot of mistakes that I made since the day that I woke up and realized, ‘You know what? I need to be a leader instead of a follower.”
He’s not asking for special treatment:“In no way shape or form was I trying to use my celebrity or success to say, ‘Well, I feel entitled to get this because of the fame and fortune.’ Every day I wake up trying to be the best person I can be. I’ve worked really hard to be a positive influence for kids growing up in communities like mine who don’t really have a chance, and try to provide an opportunity for them to be more successful and that’s why I’m doing it.”
If the pardon isn’t granted: “Whether it happens or not, it won’t change how hard I’ve worked at becoming a better person. I will continue to do that whether the pardon is granted or not.”

The role model thing is kind of hilarious. I am pretty sure that troubled youth aren’t watching the internet with baited breath, waiting to see if Mark Wahlberg received his silly pardon.
There is a wrinkle to this story. There’s no question that Mark’s assault was racially motivated. The Smoking Gun has always had Marky Mark’s rap sheet available. During this particular crime, Mark smashed a large wooden stick over Thanh Lam’s head after calling him “Vietnam f***ing sh*t.” This is all widely available common knowledge. But. Nowhere in that report did police indicate that Lam was blinded. That detail somehow seeped into the public consciousness.
The Mail has spoken with Thanh Lam in an exclusive interview. Lam says Mark did not blind him. He was already blinded in one eye during the Vietnam War. Lam believes Mark should be pardoned because “He was young and reckless. He should not have the crime hanging over him any longer.” Mark’s victim has already pardoned him in his mind. Maybe that’s what matters most, but I’m not saying Marky Mark deserves a pardon. Thoughts?

?Keanu was really patiently waiting,? the driver told us. ?I don?t think he said anything to the bouncer, like, ?I?m Keanu.? No one recognized him.?

You know how I was just bitching at Kim Kardashian for not knowing how to dress her figure? Well, look what we have here. Kim attended the ACRIA Holiday Dinner last night in NYC, and she wore this Ulyana Sergeenko ensemble which is just NO. Don?t put this on God either, Kim. She just likes to show off her midsection and I don?t understand why. Imagine this look if it wasn?t a two-piece. Imagine if it was just a body-con cocktail dress made out of that teal material? wouldn?t that have looked good on her? Instead, I?m trying to figure out how much of Kim?s size 2 is spilling out of her stupid satin skirt!
Kim was at this event for a nice reason though ? she was presenting her friend, photographer Bruce Weber, with an Artists Ending AIDS award. She wrote on her Instagram: ?Was such an honor to give my dear friend Bruce Webber the Artists Ending AIDS award at the Acria Foundation event! The fight is NOT over! So many young people get infected every day so please educate yourself to stop this awful disease.?
Meanwhile, Hollywood Life says that Kanye and Kim spend so little time together that Kim often has to ?beg? Kanye to have sex with her. A source says:

They spent the past six years in a storybook romance but sadly Freida Pinto and Dev Patel have decided to go their separate ways.
According to multiple outlets, the ?Slumdog Millionaire? costars broke up earlier this fall and in October Ms. Pinto celebrated her birthday without Patel. Back in 2008, Dev and Freida announced their relationship and ever since they?ve both been very complimentary of each other in the press.
Pinto previously told Interview magazine, ?I don?t think anybody ? not even family or friends ? can understand what the two of us have been through. As beautiful as it is, there are parts of it that just become a bit tiring to deal with. The paparazzi, for example, and not having privacy. He made a statement unknowingly once and he said, ?Oh, she is like my soul mate,? and we were not dating or anything back then, and it became this big hoopla. Like, ?Oh my god! How could he have said that? What does that mean?? But I guess he was right in a way; we are soul mates.?

A new story from Radar Online says Kendall is making big changes in her life. She moved out of Kris’ home in the spring. Now Kendall has reportedly given Kris the boot as manager. Kris must have been livid. If you take away KUWTK as a show, Kendall must be the second biggest earner of the siblings. Those brand ambassador gigs pay very well. Here are the details:
Kendall Jenner is fed up with her mother Kris Jenner’s controlling ways and is no longer “keeping up” the faade. RadarOnline.com has learned that she?s dumping the family momager to hire a professional management team!
“Kendall has made it very clear to Kris that she is no longer managing her career,” a source close to the family tells Radar exclusively. “Kris is aware of this … Kendall has moved out and moved on months ago.”
“She sees straight through all of her mom’s BS and she will not let Kris exploit her like Kris did Kim,” the insider adds, referring to Jenner’s 34-year-old half-sister, sex tape star Kim Kardashian.
According to the source, the stunning 19-year-old runway model “has been shopping around for her own team, not affiliated with the Keeping up with the Kardashians brand at all. That includes a new manager, rep and agent of her own.”
As Radar previously reported, 59-year-old momager Kris has gotten a lot of heat for promoting Kendall’s Love magazine online Advent calendar. “These photos were tame compared to what Kim has done and everyone is making a big deal out of nothing,? the source tells Radar.
“She did not ask Kris to promote this in any way,” the insider says. “Kris has been investing a lot of time in Kendall and Kendall does not invest any time in Kris. She’s done.”
Kendall isn’t the first family member to jump ship: Last fall, Kim hired high-power rep Ina Treciokas to oversee her publicity.

I can’t blame Kendall at all for trying to get out from under Kris’ kontrol. Not only is Kris pure evil, but she leaks everything (true or not) to the press. Remember how Kendall was supposedly mean girled at NYFW by fellow models? I suspected all along that Kris was the source on that story. Sure enough, Kendall told Dazed & Confused that no one put cigarette butts in her drink, and everyone was nice to her. I say make a run for it, Kendall. Run like the Victoria’s Secret-seeking wind.

I had to check through our photo archive just to remind myself of what Kim Kardashian looked like while pregnant. I mean, obviously, I remembered that she gained a lot of weight and she looked completely uncomfortable throughout her pregnancy. But I had actually forgotten just how terribly she dressed and how she attempted to look ?thin? or sleek throughout her pregnancy and how she failed so miserably. Anyway, the reason for my trip down memory lane is that Kim told Elle UK that she thinks God was punishing her (for being hot) by making her gain so much weight during her pregnancy. I mean? God cares enough about Kim Kardashian?s hotness that he would try to destroy her body?
In a recent interview with Elle UK, Kim Kardashian reveals her battle with her weight took an enlightening turn while she was pregnant with North West. The reality star said she was steadily gaining pounds during that 9-month period, which she deemed as God teaching her a lesson.
“I?d think God was doing this for a reason. He was saying: ?Kim, you think you?re so hot, but look what I can do to you.? My body just went crazy,” she said. “After five months I swore I?d never get pregnant again. I got so huge and it felt like someone had taken over my body”
The 34-year-old also mentioned that she’s had a battle with her physical appearance over the years, noting that it was a long journey to finally becoming comfortable in her skin. “It?s taken me a long time to be happy with my body and for my confidence to grow to what it is today. I grew up when the body to have was the tall, slim, supermodel one, like Cindy Crawford?s. No one looked like me.”
Kanye West’s wife later admitted that her self-confidence was tested over the years. “I?m an Armenian girl, I have shape, and it turned out people liked that. That makes me feel good about myself and about other women for being so supportive. What I always say about Kim still holds true: she would feel a lot better about her figure if she could figure out flattering ways to dress her curves. She really doesn?t understand what looks good on her body, thus she dresses like a fool and thus she looks awful. As for God punishing her? no. God didn?t punish her. It was just instant karma for all of the lies and horsesh-t she?s said over the years. She?s a size 2, she doesn?t have butt implants, she doesn?t Botox or get plastic surgery, etc. Karma was all ?eat all the donuts, it will be fine, Kim!? I wish God would stop letting me buy mini Kit-Kats.

I?m not trying to sound mean, but I?m actually surprised that this breakup didn?t happen sooner. Dev Patel and Freida Pinto got together while filming/promoting Slumdog Millionaire back in 2008. Freida was in another relationship at the time, and I?ve always believed there was some overlap between the first guy and Dev. But whatever happened, Dev was the one to ?stick? and they ended up having a six-year relationship. And it?s now over! Sad face.
Fans are not going to like this one. Slumdog Millionaire costars Freida Pinto and Dev Patel have called it quits on their relationship, multiple sources confirm exclusively to Us Weekly. The now-exes, who met on set of the Oscar-winning movie in 2008, were together for almost six years.
“Dev and Freida have broken up,” one source tells Us of the couple. “They have been done for a while.”
Pinto, who is six years older than Patel, recently celebrated her 30th birthday without the actor this past October. The Immortals actress instead rang in her milestone birthday with billionaire Siddharth Mallya.
“Freida is single and happy,” another source tells Us of the newly available star. “Friends are setting her up.”
During happier times, the two considered themselves “soul mates” — in Patel’s case, even before they were dating. “We’re soul mates because we’re both in this surreal situation. She is very beautiful… I haven’t got a girlfriend but Freida, my costar, is gorgeous,” the Newsroom star, 24, told Contact Music in 2008. Years later, during a chat with Interview mag, Pinto agreed: “I guess he was right in a way; we are soul mates.”
The couple were so in love, in fact, that last year, they told Us Weekly they don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day because “every day should be a celebration of love.”

Whenever I say that Carrie Underwood seems like an unpleasant person, Carrie?s fans yell at me and tell me that she?s all lightness and wonder and Christian values and misunderstood sass. Perhaps. Or perhaps she?s just as judgy, catty and Mean Girl-y as any one of us. Maybe we should make our Celebitchy Patron Saint? Anyway, Star Magazine claims that Carrie has been holding a massive grudge against LeAnn Rimes for EIGHT YEARS. Apparently, LeAnn said something mildly bitchy about Carrie in 2006 and ever since then, Carrie has gone out of her way to talk trash about LeAnn and avoid her whenever possible.
She?s considered one of the sweetest stars in country music, but Carrie Underwood isn?t just a pretty little thang! She?s tough, she?s opinionated and she secretly despises fellow country singer LeAnn Rimes.
Carrie?s long-held hostility toward LeAnn emerged prior to shooting a live performance at the CMA Country Christmas Special on Nov. 7 (which aired Dec. 1). A set insider reveals that the Oklahoma native made an angry demand when she found out that LeAnn?s dressing room was right next to hers.
?She immediately had her people call the organizers to get her room switched,? the insider says. ?Carrie can?t stand LeAnn. When they see each other, she puts on a friendly front, but she thinks LeAnn is desperate, unoriginal and a has-been. And LeAnn has no idea how Carrie really feels.?
The distaste Carrie has for LeAnn goes back to 2006, soon after the American Idol winner beat out Faith Hill for Female Vocalist of the Year at the CMAs. LeAnn, who was already an established recording artist after years in the business, was asked about Carrie at the time and quipped, ?To see someone come in and win female vocalist that has been here for a very short time is a little disheartening.?
That statement stung Carrie, and she?s never forgotten it. ?LeAnn?s remarks were a huge slap in the face,? a source close to Carrie tells Star. ?Carrie saw it as a shallow and shameful welcome into the industry and showed LeAnn?s true colors. She?s waited eight years for an apology and has never gotten one. Carrie holds grudges. When they see each other out and at events, LeAnn acts like nothing ever happened, but Carrie will never forget.?
Perhaps what instigated the original comment was jealousy: At least that?s what a source close to Carrie speculates, saying, ?For so long, LeAnn was the only one who could belt out those high notes, and that was quickly taken from her as soon as Carrie entered the world of country music.?
Either way, Carrie believes her poor opinion of her country colleague was confirmed when LeAnn was caught cheating on her first husband with current husband Eddie Cibrian, who was also cheating on his wife, in 2009. ?Carrie was disgusted and couldn?t believe she?d destroy a marriage,? the source says. ?She is very religious and thinks that LeAnn?s appalling homewrecking confirmed everything she?d suspected in the first place.?

Considering the detail that went into this story, I tend to think it?s mostly true. I think Carrie can hold a grudge and she never forgot that LeAnn talked smack about her award win, and I?ll also buy that Carrie was probably disgusted by LeAnn?s behavior with the whole Eddie Cibrian situation. That being said? they performed at the same British country music festival last year. I?ve included the photos of them standing next to each other in this post. So maybe this is all just normal tabloid BS pitting two women against each other? Perhaps. But I still think there are probably LOTS of people in country music who are no longer friendly with LeAnn after her behavior the past five years.

Scarlett Johansson agreed to be one of Barbara Walters? Most Fascinating People of 2014. ScarJo actually sat down for an interview and everything! That surprises me. ScarJo plays her personal life pretty close to the vest, and by agreeing to a Barbara Walters interview, you?re agreeing to answer personal questions. I guess Scarlett was okay with talking about her big year ? she gave birth to her first child, she secretly married her French dude in the middle of nowhere, and she managed to star in a few hit films. So what did Barbara want to know? How Scarlett lost the baby weight, obviously.
Breastfeeding is mutually beneficial?just ask Scarlett Johansson! The actress recently taped Barbara Walters’ annual 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014 special. It was Johansson’s first TV interview since giving birth to daughter Rose Dauriac on Sept. 4, and in it, she shared how she shed her post-pregnancy pounds. “[Breastfeeding is] the best way to get back in shape,” the 30-year-old Avengers: Age of Ultron star explained. “[I do] the whole bit. I’m nursing and I love it.”
Scarlett, who secretly married Romain Dauriac one month after Rose’s birth, described motherhood as “wonderful,” “very, very magical” and “exhausting.” So, is her bond with her little girl everything she imagined it would be? “The love is just unbelievable,” the Lucy actress said. “It’s very overwhelming.”
No word yet if Scarlett also talked about her wedding?but if she did, the conversation will undoubtedly appear in the annual special. The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014 airs Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
This wasn’t the first time Johansson has talked about life after baby, however. The Dolce & Gabbana spokeswoman recently did an interview with Germany’s Gala magazine, and just last week, Johansson told Style.com that her workout routine hasn’t become “crazy-different” since welcoming a daughter. “It’s just about trying to find time to go to the gym,” the Nanny Diaries actress explained. “I do the same fitness routine as my big muscle-man trainer. A lot of it is endurance, stability, and strength training. I like to work up a sweat. I’ve tried Pilates and yoga and all that, and I like to dabble in different things, but I always come back to a good old-fashioned athletic, full-body workout.”
Johansson likes to exercise, but even she gets fitness fatigue. “Of course, like anyone, I have days when I don’t want to go,” she admitted. “Those are the days when you should go because then you stick to it. Once I get into a routine of going to the gym every day when I’m working, it’s easy for me to just keep going. It makes me feel good,” the actress continued. “But once I start to slack, it’s so hard to go back.”

For some women, breastfeeding is the best way to take off the baby weight. For some women, it doesn?t really make a difference. Like, I think someone told Jessica Simpson that she would lose the baby weight by breastfeeding and she was startled to realize that it doesn?t happen in every case. As for the rest of it?is it weird that I never really think of Scarlett as being a crazy in-shape kind of person? I?m sure she works out, but she seems more like a ?I?d rather eat real food and drink wine than go to the gym? kind of person.

It wasn’t too long ago that actors considered television to be a major step down from movies. Nowadays, everyone wants a show because tv is cool again. Preferably a cable show where the really dirty, bloody stuff goes down, and audiences get all riled up on social media. FX’s Fargo was a big hit last season with viewers, and it received lots of awards show love too.
Like True Detective, Fargo will shake up its cast every season. According to rumor, one cast member will return for the 2nd season, and no one knows who that will be yet. It definitely won’t be the shifty Billy Bob Thornton or the awesome Allison Tolman. Casting news for the season is starting to roll out, and FX has announced its two leads: Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons. If you watched Breaking Bad, you’ll know Jesse as “Meth Damon” (thanks, CB). This is a big move for Kirsten, who is new to television (other than guest appearances). The new season will feature a jump back in time:
FX has found its new Fargo leading duo.
Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons will topline the second season of Noah Hawley’s FX anthology, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Production will begin in Calgary in January with the 10-episode series set to premiere next fall on FX. Hawley will return as showrunner with exec producers including Joel and Ethan Coen, Warren Littlefield and John Cameron. Additional castings are expected to be announced soon.
The sophomore season will revisit the 1979 Sioux Falls incident referenced in the freshman run’s “A Fox, a Rabbit, and a Cabbage” episode when Molly’s (Allison Tolman) father Lou Solverson (Keith Carradine) was still a state trooper. Season two will take place in Fargo, N.D., Sioux Falls, S.D., and Luverne, Minn., Hawley said, with a new actor coming in to play the younger Lou character.
Dunst will star as Peggy Blomquist, a beautician with big-city dreams who is trying to figure out who she really is and what she really wants as she struggles with societal expectations.
Plemons will play Ed, Peggy’s husband and a butcher’s assistant who wants to be supportive of his wife’s self-discovery — even if he doesn’t quite understand it.
Fargo, which earned the Emmy for outstanding miniseries, has become one of TV’s hottest properties as A-list actors flock to the small screen for roles in anthology series like True Detective and American Horror Story. The approach has worked well for the networks, luring viewers in an increasingly competitive DVR landscape and generating awards season cachet.

This sounds like a wise move for Kirsten. She’s had a taste of television, and now she’ll anchor a whole season. I think she will easily be able to play a frustrated citizen of Fargo, yearning to break free. Does anyone else ever freeze their butts off as they watch this show? It always makes me feel so cold. I hope Kirsten doesn’t mind the cold, as the show shoots in Canada.
Now I can’t get “Meth Damon” out of my head. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

Both Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt boast a collection of tattoos, but the director of upcoming WWII film Unbroken has revealed her new husband is against their kids sharing their love of body art. Of the couple’s children ? Vivienne and Knox, both six, Shiloh, eight, and their adopted siblings Zahara, nine, Pax, 11, and Maddox, 13 ? the actress has already turned down her eldest’s request, but now Zahara is getting inquisitive, a prospect that is horrifying her father.
“They’re already asking me about tattoos,” Jolie tells Radio Times. “How do I say ‘No’? It’s especially hard for dads and girls. For some reason men get a little more sensitive when the daughter gets a tattoo. And Brad thinks the girls can do no wrong. He’s mush in their hands!”
The couple also have strong opinions on whether or not their brood will follow their famous parents into the acting profession. “We’ve always said, if they want to act, we won’t let them only act, because it’s not enough. They’ll have to find a real job at the same time. But I’m hoping that when they see all the other things in the world, they’ll be inspired to be writers, politicians, activists. They’re very individual people. So I imagine they’re not going to follow their mum and dad.”
Jolie and Pitt’s next project is By the Sea, a film penned and directed by the actress who will star opposite her real-life husband. It will mark the first time the pair have acted on screen together since 2005?s Mr and Mrs Smith, when, as Pitt’s marriage to Jennifer Aniston fell apart, they fell in love.
“It feels a little daunting,” says Jolie. “We haven’t worked together for ten years. But all of the reasons why people say we should be scared of it, we feel that’s exactly why we have to do this ? because we can. So we’re going to go boldly.”
Is Jolie anxious about the prospect of being Pitt’s boss on set? “He’s a pretty strong actor! It’s going to be interesting. He’s a really great artist, such an interesting artist, and of course he’s the man I love, so I think we’re going to have a great time.”

Angelina used to let Maddox have temporary tattoos, so that?s not a surprise to me that the kids are interested in tatts. I wonder which of the girls wants some ink? Shiloh, probably.
Also, in Angelina?s People Mag interview this week, she talks about her lack of technological awareness, and how she and Brad had to hire someone to do all of the online monitoring of the kids:
Jolie calls herself “old-school” (she doesn’t use social media), although she understands that her kids are growing up in a more technologically advanced era than she did. As such, she’s made using the internet as safe as possible. “For the kids, we have someone who monitors that,” she explained. “It’s so beyond what we understand. We wouldn’t even know what to look for. It’s a scary new world. I can only imagine the trouble I would’ve gotten into. I got in enough trouble. It just would have been very documented.”

Showing off their sisterly bond, Lindsay Lohan and her sibling Ali headed over to Tramp nightclub in London for some late night fun on Tuesday (December 9).
The ?Mean Girls? actress and her model sister both looked lovely as the mingled at the Sunday Times Style Christmas party into the wee hours.
And it sounds like LiLo and Ali have been busy on a new project as they were both invited to sing on the new Duran Duran record. An inside source told The Mirror, ?Lindsay was in the studio with the boys from 6.30pm right through to 1am. Lindsay's contribution is more of a spoken word part, while Ali is singing on the track - the sisters will feature on the same song which they thought was really cool.?
?[Lindsay] has been thinking of giving music another shot recently after recording with Kate Moss' husband Jamie Hince from The Kills last year.?
