Having recently been enjoying the pleasures of newlywed life, Anna Faris was back in work mode in New York City on Tuesday (September 15).
The “House Bunny” hottie showed off her platinum blonde locks as she waved to paparazzi following a stop at MTV studios in Times Square.
As for the reason behind her stop, Miss Faris is promoting her new animated flick, “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” – which hits theaters this Friday (September 18).
Also starring the voices of Benjamin Bratt, Mr T and James Caan, the Phil Lord/Chris Miller directed film is inspired by the beloved children’s book of the same name, focusing on “a town where food falls from the sky like rain.”

Megan Fox isn’t afraid to speak her mind, recently dishing about bullies while chatting about her new movie, “Jennifer’s Body”.
Sharing her sentiments, the sexy actress stated that “usually the bullies are the most insecure.”
And, although she may be gorgeous and famous, even Fox was bullied in her life. “I was bullied and it’s hard, you feel like high school’s never going to be over. It’s four years of your life and you just have to remember the person picking on you had their own problems and their own issues. And you’re going to be OK.”
Fox has also had to deal with Internet bullying after crew members left mean letters online about how Megan is “thankless, classless, graceless and dumb as a rock.”

Dropping a bit of a bombshell, Katie Price says that she was raped by a “famous celebrity.”
The British glamour model reported that she was a victim of a sexual assault, but did not want to talk about further details of the story.
She did confess that the person who committed the crime is in the public eye and her ex-husband, Peter Andre, knows the identity.
“A famous celebrity raped me and Peter knows who it was. It was years ago, before I was with Pete, and my friends and family knew about it at the time.”
Katie also announced it has happened “more than once,” after defending new boy toy Alex Reid against allegations after starring in a movie that glorifies sex attacks.
“I was appalled by the headlines claiming he’d taken part in something which glorifies rape. This is completely untrue. Rape is a subject very close to my own heart.”
Continuing on, Price added, “I was raped when I was younger, more than once. Needless to say, I’d never be associated with anyone or anything so sick. I’ve never talked about this before, but I feel I have to now because I was so hurt by those accusations that I would not take a subject which affects many women seriously.”
Peter, however, said he had no idea about the incidents that Katie claimed to tell him about - causing Katie to accuse him of lying and being cruel.
“I have no idea why he said he didn’t know. He’s not the Pete I knew anymore. He’s being really cruel when he knows exactly who did it,” she said.

Staying busy in the Big Apple, Taylor Swift was spotted greeting fans in Times Square as she made her way back to her hotel this afternoon (September 15).
The “Should’ve Said No” songstress was all smiles as she signed autographs and posed for pictures following an action-packed morning schedule.
As for the tension between Taylor and Kanye West following the ‘incident’ at the MTV Video Music Awards, Mr. West has reportedly made a personal apology to the country crooner.
Taylor told ABC News Radio, “Kanye did call me, and he was very sincere in his apology, and I accepted that apology.”
Kanye also apologized publicly on last night’s “Jay Leno Show.” “I’m just ashamed that my hurt caused someone else’s hurt — and I don’t try to justify it because I was just in the wrong. I need to, after this, take some time off and just analyze how I’m going to make it through the rest of this life, how I’m going to improve. Because I am a celebrity, and that’s something I have to deal with.”

Yes, the whole Kanye West-Taylor Swift story is happening. I keep waiting for it to die down, but this is a good example of how the aftermath of a scandal is as important as what actually happened during the scandal. I mean, the whole Kanye grabbing the mic from Taylor thing? Yes, it was so painful, it felt like forever, but in reality the whole incident was less than two minutes. The aftermath was key. Personally, I tend to think Kanye made the whole situation so much worse by how he acted in the aftermath with his half-hearted ALL CAPS non-apology. But people were already pissed, and there was always going to be a Kanye backlash. I think Kanye gets it. His apology on Leno seemed sincere enough, and I?m starting to agree with Russell Brand - no one died.
We can be more magnanimous to The A–hole Formerly Known As Kanye because we?ve gotten the signal from Taylor Swift to live and let live. Her immediate post-incident interviews were very classy, and she dropped by The View this morning to show off more of her gracious nature. Taylor admitted that Kanye hadn?t apologized to her personally, but she seemed to invite him to call her and say ?Hi?.
Kanye West may have apologized publicly, but he still hasn’t said anything personally to Taylor Swift.
Swift, who appeared on The View Tuesday, said that while she would accept a face-to-face apology from the rapper ? “Sure!” ? he has made no effort to get in touch with her since disrupting her best female video award acceptance speech at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards.
“He has not personally reached out or anything,” she said, “but if he wanted to say hi…”
The singer explained what was going through her mind Sunday night as she watched West grab the microphone and announce that her award should have gone to Beyonc.
“My overall thought process went something like, ‘Wow, I can’t believe I won. This is awesome. Don’t trip and fall. I’m going to get to thank the fans, this is so cool … Oh, Kanye West is here! Cool haircut! What are you doing there? And then, ouch. And then, I guess I’m not going to thank the fans.’ ”
West apologized on his blog later that night, and on Monday, he told Jay Leno that he’d like to apologize to Swift in person.
“I’m not going to say that I wasn’t rattled by it,” said Swift on The View, “but I had to perform live five minutes later so I had get myself back to the place where I could perform.”
Swift said she was touched about the outpouring of support from fans and fellow singers like Kelly Clarkson, who blogged that West was “a sad human being.”
“All the artists came and showed me love and all the people Tweeting about it … all the fans … I just never imagined that there were that many people out there looking out for me, so it was really wonderful to see that people were out there defending me so I didn’t have to.”

So, that?s the kicker. Taylor got so much more exposure and goodwill, and won more fans because of this incident than she ever would have if Kanye had just kept his drunk ass in his seat. I think it would be a nice touch for Kanye to personally call Taylor and offer his apologizes - this young woman is so classy, you know she?s already forgiven him, and they could probably have a nice conversation. If he called, she would probably ask him to send her an autograph - I get the feeling that?s the kind of sweet kid she is.

The Invention of Lying premiered at the Toronto Film Festival last night, and its three biggest stars showed up to walk the red carpet - Ricky Gervais (who not only stars, he?s co-writer and co-director), Jennifer Garner and? Rob Lowe. I?m not a huge Rob Lowe person, so I tend to think Rob showed up to promote his smaller, supporting part in the film just because he really didn?t have anything else to do. The film is about a guy (Gervais) who lives in a world where no one ever lies, so the guy invents lying for his own gain. The film also stars Tina Fey, Jason Bateman, Jonah Hill and a slew of other comedians and character actors. It actually looks really good.
Jennifer Garner walked the red carpet for the premiere in a rather stunning, strapless, tiered, green cocktail dress. I can?t find who designed this dress to save my life - to my eye, it looks like Prada, or maybe Oscar de la Renta. Jennifer accessorized with beige and gold platform heels that kind of wash out her legs. But I love her hair when she actually puts some effort into it. She looks really cute - even stunning - when she tries.
My favorite from the red carpet was Ricky Gervais though. I love this man. I love the silly faces he?s making on the red carpet. I like that his version of dressing up is a nice pair of pants, a nice sweater and no tie or jacket. He still looks awesome though!
At the press conference before the premiere, and on the red carpet, Jennifer and Ricky were acting out, of course. Jennifer told reporters that her favorite lie about herself (told by the tabloids) was ?There was a lie, just recently, that I have had my lips done, I felt like, have you seen my mum, or my sisters?” Jennifer also gave the lie she?d like to spread around: ?I saved a family of twelve by myself as they were burning in a car. I pulled them out and saved them all.?
Rob, Ricky and Jennifer also discussed the Kanye incident, with Jennifer saying, ?that?s not honesty, that?s just bad manners. You can choose at any time whether to be civil or not civil ? what is the point of thinking it’s cool to wear your honesty on your sleeve at the expense of everyone else?” Ricky praised Jennifer as inherently good, noting ?Jen doesn’t even swear. She says things like ‘darn’ and ‘dang’. I asked her what her favourite swear word was, and she said ‘rats’.”
Ricky Gervais talked about the high-concept foundation for the film, saying ?A world without lies actually wouldn’t be a very good world?because it would be artless. There would be no white lies, no flattery ? I mean, losers don’t need to be told they’re losers every day.” In case you didn?t figure it out, Ricky identifies with ?losers? - which makes me wonder why he cast Jennifer Garner as his love interest?

Hulk Hogan will not be taken advantage of. Just because he made a career out of getting knocked around (and probably sustaining a couple head injuries along the way), don?t let that make you think he?s some dummy who can be cajoled out of millions of dollars for fancy lawyers defending his son for nearly killing a friend while drag racing. Because he can?t. Despite Hogan?s attorneys getting a very favorable result for Nick Hogan?s criminal charges (he was sentenced to 8 months and served five and a half), Hulk is seriously pissed at them. Why? Because they didn?t tell him that his then-insurance company was responsible for paying the attorneys? fees, and kept on billing Hogan directly. Hulk also claims they withheld correspondence between the insurance company, which actually tried to do the right thing and see if he wanted them billed.
The harsh world of legalities must be all too familiar for Hulk Hogan, but this time the semi-retired pro-wrestler has decided to sue the professionals whose job it was to stand up for him. Hogan filed a lawsuit in the Pinellas County on Monday against two attorneys, Morris “Sandy” Weinberg Jr. and Lee Fugate, of the firm Zuckerman Spaeder LLP, with claims that the men (who defended him and son Nick Bollea following Nick’s 2007 car crash) for cheating him out of over $1.5 million.
According to the suit, Hulk’s automotive insurance company Progressive was obligated to cover all necessary legal costs, however the lawyers named allegedly failed to notify him of this and continued to bill at excessively high rates. Hulk also claimed that Progressive attempted numerous times to communicate with him over the incident, but the Zuckerman Spaeder legal team did not make him aware of their letters. By the time he understood his entitlements, he claims the relationship with the insurers had been “terminated.”
“It is common knowledge throughout the legal profession experienced in such matters, especially in the area of insurance defense litigation and personal injury law, that automobile insurance policies include the aforementioned duty to defend the insured, as well as any permissive user, should a civil suit arise or the possibility of a civil claim exist,” the lawsuit stated. “Defendants made no effort to advise of this important fact. Defendants were further aware, or should have been, that Bollea had no experience in the area of insurance.”
Consequently, Hogan alleges in the 44 page suit that he not only paid the big bucks for 17 months until he reached a point where he “couldn’t afford” the fees anymore, but he was billed unawares for time spent on the case by paralegals too. “The charges made by Terry Bollea are simply baseless. The Bollea’s came to Zuckerman Spaeder under very difficult circumstances. Both Terry Bollea and his son faced the threat of criminal prosecution and civil litigation. Zuckerman Spaeder, working with a co-counsel, achieved a very favorable result in the criminal case,” a rep from the firm told Tarts in a statement. “We absolutely dispute and will contest the claims made against us.”
Hogan is suing for unspecified damages and Progressive declined to comment on the incident.

Uh, I hate to ever side with the Hogans, but it sure sounds like Hulk has a good case. I love that the lawyers didn?t bother to explain their side whatsoever. They just said, ?Nope. Didn?t happen.? I mean they used some legalese, but they talked about things that had nothing to do with the lawsuit. Just because the Hogans ?came to Zuckerman Spaeder under very difficult circumstances? ? what does that have to do with incorrectly billing them? And getting them a ?favorable result? again has nothing to do with billing. They don?t bother to defend or explain a thing; they?re just throwing out as many generic phrases as they can and hoping a few stick. And what in the world could possibly be the explanation for not telling Hulk that Progressive was trying to communicate with all of them over the bills?
Like I said, I never want to side with the Hogans on anything. But their lawyers didn?t respond to a single specific claim and just said they disputed all of it. Excellent defense. I didn?t realize you could still get a law degree from correspondence courses.

24 year-old Canadian singer Avril Lavigne showed her punk princess fashion line, Abbey Dawn, at fashion week in New York yesterday. Celebrity guests at Avril’s clothing launch included infamous p0rn star Ron Jeremy, designer Tommy Hilfiger, entertainment reporter Maria Menounos, and Nicky Hilton. Abbey Dawn is available at Kohl’s department stores in the US and is affordably priced at $24 to $58 USD. It features plenty of faux-punk wear for tweens, with Pink and purple zebra, skull, and polka dot prints predominating. Hoodies, capri pants and shorts are emblazoned with tough sayings like “Rock ‘n Roll” and “Rock It.”
Last year, Avril explained that “the inspiration for Abbey Dawn came out of my closet. It?s who I am and what I think is cool and anything I?d wear.” She described her design process as something akin to mail ordering. “I can literally come up with anything I want to wear and then it?s made and I get it.?
The name “Abbey Dawn” is Avril’s nickname, given to her by her dad when she was a child. She says that she doesn’t just make clothing for kids though, and that “I?m making sure that I think people in their 20s are going to wear it because it?s going to be a sexy fit, not just, ?Oh, T-shirts and hoodies.? The hoodies are slimming. It?s not a thick, bulky material.” So 20 year-olds are more likely to wear hoodies with doofy prints and dumb sayings on them if they are slim fitting, did I get that right? What about that terrible black pleather jacket with the Pink leopard print lining that the middle model in the top photo is wearing? Would anyone over the age of 13 be caught out in that other than at a costume party?

Getting in her fill of fashionable fun, Katy Perry stepped out with the celebrities at Bryant Park hotel during the Mercedes Benz New York fashion week on Monday (September 14).
The chart-topping singer was clad in a black and white tribal dress, browsing the racks at Alice + Olivia before continuing about with her day.
Meanwhile, Miss Perry reportedly kissed Russell Brand and she liked it! The singer was spotted smooching the British comic after Sunday night’s show at Lady Gaga’s VMA after-party.
“They were sitting together, flirting and whispering to each other with their faces very close,” a source spilled. “Then Russell leaned in for a long kiss. It didn’t look like this was the first time. He was looking extremely pleased with himself.”
The 24-year-old announced that the two have smooched before when filming a cameo for his movie “Get Him to the Greek”.
“I did a little cameo scene for his movie,” she said. “It’s really just a quick clip but I got to kiss him.
“He said, ‘You’re a great actress.’ But that’s all I had to do — kiss him. I had heard all about his reputation and I have to agree he has a certain je ne sais quoi about him.”

According to a report, the “Come on Over” songstress’ dog has gone missing, leaving Jess at a loss for what to do.
Miss Simpson tweeted, “A coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR! We are searching. Hoping. Please help!”
Simpson has also posted signs asking for the return of Daisy and promising a reward. Jessica received Daisy as a gift from ex-husband Nick Lachey several years ago.

Patrick Swayze passed away on Monday, September 14th after a 20-month long battle with pancreatic cancer. He just turned 57 years old in August, and he was still working on his A&E series The Beast just months ago, as he was going through chemotherapy. Swayze had a reputation in Hollywood as one of the nicest, most decent men around. He always made time for his fans, he was always an utter professional, and according to nearly every story I?ve ever read about the man, he never failed to bring out the best in people. His male fans loved him for his iconic work in films like Road House and Red Dawn. His female fans loved him for his iconic roles in Dirty Dancing and Ghost. Everybody loved him as Bodhi in Point Break. Through his career, he worked on more than 47 films and television projects, and he was nominated for three Golden Globes. Swayze is survived by his wife of 32 years, Lisa.
Patrick Swayze lost his battle with pancreatic cancer Monday. He was 57.
“Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months,” his rep tells PEOPLE in a statement.
A gifted dancer, a rugged outdoorsman, a romantic leading man and a loving husband, Swayze was also, as his brother Don put it, “a warrior” in his cancer fight.
The actor continued working on his A&E series The Beast even as he underwent chemotherapy ? and never lost hope. About his prognosis, he did admit in a Barbara Walters interview that aired in January, “There’s a lot of fear here. Yeah, I’m scared. Yeah, I’m angry. Yeah, I’m [asking], ‘Why me?’ ”
A month before, Swayze had issued a statement to PEOPLE in regard to speculation about his health, saying that such questions “cast a negative shadow on the positive and good fight I’m fighting.”

One of five children raised in Houston, Texas, by Patsy, a dance teacher, and Jesse, a champion rodeo cowboy, Swayze grew up dancing in his mom’s studio and met his future wife, Lisa Niemi, when the two teenagers were both students there.
It was the beginning of one of Hollywood’s most enduring romances: Swayze and Niemi, 53, were married 32 years.
Over the years, the couple ? both pilots who often flew together and who shared a love of horseback riding and the outdoors ? would see Swayze’s career take off.
Dirty Dancing and Ghost
After breaking through in 1983’s The Outsiders, he secured a spot in movie romance history with iconic turns in 1987’s Dirty Dancing and 1990’s Ghost. In all his roles, he cited Lisa as an inspiration.
“Lisa and I have built just about every character I’ve done,” he told PEOPLE in 2007. “You have to understand, we have an ease. … We’ve been partners for a long time.”
It was Lisa who proved a “pillar of strength” during the trying past year, said her brother-in-law Don. United in their focus to overcome the awful odds ? pancreatic cancer has just a 5 percent survival rate within five years of diagnosis ? the couple maintained a fierce determination.
In fall 2008, he told The New York Times that although chemo had been “hell on wheels,” he refused to quit fighting.
“There is probably that little bird that flies through your insides and says, ‘I sure would like to make a mark in life,’” he said. “I’ve made a pretty decent mark so far ? nothing to scoff at. But it does make you think: Wait a minute. There’s more I want to do. Lots more. Get on with it.”

Within minutes of the announcement, Swayze?s friends, fans and former coworkers took to Twitter to pay their respects. Two of the best comments, in my opinion: ?So saddened by this news.
