Too many cheeseburgers?
Here is Michelle Trachtenberg hitting the stage for the Killing Kennedy panel held during the National Geographic Channels portion of the 2013 Summer Television Critics Association Tour at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
Killing Kennedy focuses on the events leading up to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy (Lowe) and what happened after the killing.

Michelle Trachtenberg starred in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and most recently Gossip Girl and Weeds. Us Weekly caught up with her and found out she was first pick to star as Bella in Twilight, Kristen Stewart’s most famous role, and was even first pick to star in Thirteen, Evan Rachel Wood’s breakout role. None of those worked out because of her other projects.
“There was definitely interest here and there because there’s only so few pale girls in Hollywood,” she explained.
“I’ve known [director] Catherine Hardwicke since the movie Thirteen,” she said. “I was actually supposed to star in that, but I was on Buffy at the time.” (Hardwicke, who went on to directed the very first Twilight film in 2009, directed the saga’s star Nikki Reed in the 2003 drama and Evan Rachel Wood played the film’s primary character. Reed cowrote the gritty screenplay.)
So why did Reed, Kristen Stewart and Ashley Greene end up as Breaking Dawn’s leading ladies instead of Trachtenberg? “I guess schedules never worked out,” she explained.

What are the general thoughts on Michelle Trachtenberg? I think she?s a pretty little thing, but I don?t have an opinion on her talent or her personality. She seems kind of bland to me, but then again, I was never into Buffy. I?ve never gotten the needy-famewhore vibe off of her, and she doesn?t seem to be one of those hyper-ambitious girls just dying to see her name in the press. So this new interview with Michelle seems out of character. Michelle drops this bombshell: she was up for the role in Bella Swan in Twilight. Can you feel the Twihard Fatwa coming down on Michelle? I can.

But the Gossip Girl star doesn’t want to speculate how her life would be different if she’d starred opposite Robert Pattinson in the blockbuster films. “[Hypothetical answers mean] you’re not living in the moment and you’re looking negatively at what you’re doing now,” she mused.

I?ve read way too much about Twilight, but I?ve never heard anything about this. I thought the casting story went like this: Catherine Hardwicke?s first choice for Bella was always Kristen Stewart (who at that point was fresh off of Into the Wild, which got her a lot of attention) – Kristen was offered the part and she said yes immediately. All of the casting drama was with Edward, and it took months for Robert Pattinson to be cast. Isn?t that how it went? Or was there a ?search? to find the right Bella and several actresses were considered, including Michelle Trachtenberg? Or is all of this just wishful (famewhore) thinking on Michelle?s part?
And in a parallel universe, what would the world be like if Michelle had been cast as Bella? Would Robert Pattinson have fallen for Michelle instead??! OMG.

The ?17 Again? babe definitely isn?t shy as she works her magic for the camera in some skimpy outifts.
In the accompanying interview, Michelle shared that she was pumped about scoring the cover of Maxim and hoped some of her high school enemies would see it.
?It?s exciting. I know that everyone at my high school who used to torture me and bully me is going to get a copy of it, so I?m thrilled. That?s going to be really exciting.?
She continued, ?I was rather flat-chested in high school, so I was picked on all the time. I think I?ve made up for it. Maybe a bit late, but they?re here now.?

Earning herself a little extra cash over the weekend, Michelle Trachtenberg was busy tending to party hosting duties in New York City on Saturday night (October 30).
The "Gossip Girl" actress looked lovely as she turned up at SL in a pageant princess costume while doing her best to get the Halloween fete underway.
The Big Apple club outing comes shortly after it was announced that Miss Trachtenberg will be starring in a Josh Schwartz directed series headed to The CW.
With Michelle having written the script, THR tells that "the series follows a young criminology student with a gift for profiling and a dark past."

Teaming up for an afternoon outing, Michelle Trachtenberg and Sarah Michelle Gellar were all smiles in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday (August 25).
Both dressed in business suits, the pair joyfully picked out a few items from the baby boutique Eggy before continuing about with the day's agenda.
The sighting comes as Miss Trachtenberg has been thrown into headlines with rumors that she's dating musician John Mayer.
Denying any such happenings and insisting the two are just friends, Michelle's rep shortly but sweetly told press, "They've known each other for years."

Taking care of some promotional duties, Michelle Trachtenberg was spotted at the Crest 3D White Smile Collection at Macy's Herald Square in New York City today (April 6).
The ?Mercy? actress was all smiles as she posed for the paparazzi, sporting a powder blue dress with black stockings and black heels.
Michelle isn?t afraid to admit that she relies on Crest 3D Whitestrips to help her maintain her perfect smile whether she?s on screen or just getting caught out by the paparazzi.
Ms. Trachtenberg also revealed in a recent interview that her friends tease her for eating too much salt and looking puffy in shutterbug shots. It?s a good thing she?s secure in her hotness!
