Taking a break from filming scenes, Sofia Vergara was spotted grabbing a cup of Joe at Brighton Coffee Shop in Beverly Hills on Wednesday (October 10).
The 40-year-old actress donned an off the shoulder sweater with a pair of comfy leggings and tennis shoes for her quick snack stop.
In a recent interview with the UK edition of OK Magazine, the ?Modern Family? star was asked how she felt when people mistakenly assumed that her 20-year-old son is her sibling.
?I love that! Especially when they say he's my brother,? Miss Vergara said. ?But he hates it if I'm with him and someone says, 'Oh tell your sister to come,' and I don't correct them. He's like, 'Tell them you're my mom!' But I don't."

?Nymphomaniac? is currently in production in Cologne, Germany under the direction of the infamous Lars von Trier.

Flying solo for an official visit, Kate Middleton showed up at the Newcastle Civic Centre in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England today (October 10).
Looking smashing as usual, the Duchess of Cambridge spent plenty of time personally engaging the folks who showed up to greet her, flashing her fabulous smile for the cameras.
During her visits, Kate got to meet with Olympic volunteers and several fans who suffered from different disabilities.

I don’t have a lot of sympathy for the Hogan family after the way they handled their son Nick’s drunken drag racing accident, which left his passenger, a former Marine and Iraq war veteran, in a permanent vegetative state. The Hogans defended their son at every turn, with Hulk even calling it God’s Will that his son ended up basically taking the life of his friend through his own preventable negligence. I find them trashy and tasteless, so I thought it was amusing when Hulk Hogan’s sex tape, with his best friend’s ex-wife, got released. But now that I see how Hulk is handling the situation, I have a smidgeon of sympathy for him. Hulk was on The Today Show yesterday describing how the tape came about. He said he made it with “friends,” that it was taken without his knowledge, and that both he and his new wife are mortified by it. He also took full responsibility for it and I’ll be damned if he sounded sincere. But then on The Howard Stern show he blamed his then-wife, Linda Hogan, for the fact that he was cheating on her back when the tape was filmed six years ago. So Hulk is still an ass, although no one deserves to have their private moments broadcast on the Internet.
“It’s just something that has devastated me and totally … I’ve never been on something on this level,” he told them.
Hogan says he was at a “friend’s house” when the incident occurred, and “I had no idea there was a camera in the room.”
Hogan says he was at a “very low point” when he was taped without his knowledge, but added, “I’m not making excuses, I’m accountable, I was the guy, I was there, I made the choice.”
Hogan appeared on The Howard Stern Show on Sirius/XM earlier on Tuesday and confirmed that his sex partner was Clem.
Calling the tape ?appalling? and a ?bad choice,? he vowed to find out who secretly shot it and made it public.
?I’m going full-blown to try to find out who did this to me and why and what’s the motivation,” he said.

On Howard Stern, Hulk explained how he ended up having sex with his friend, DJ Bubba The Love Sponge’s wife, who he also considered a friend. He said that Bubba had offered him sex with his then-wife Heather for years, and that he took advantage of it when he was at a low point in his marriage to Linda, before she filed for divorce.
As for who leaked the footage, of course it was that Bubba guy. It was all filmed at his house. On TMZ live, they told Hulk that the end of the tape (which was not shown on Gawker) shows Bubba saying “If we ever did want to retire, all we’d have to do is use this footage.” Up until that point, Hulk believed Bubba’s claims that he was innocent and still considered Bubba his friend. That footage was originally released earlier this year, right around the time that Bubba was divorcing Heather, suggesting he did it out of revenge. It’s unknown why it’s resurfacing now.

These are some new photos of Salma Hayek at last night?s NYC premiere of Here Comes The Boom, that by-the-book, dumb-looking Kevin James comedy. Salma is ?in? with that group now, having done a few films with the Adam Sandler/Kevin James low-brow comedy crowd. I guess we?re supposed to be impressed that Sandler and James hire such a quality actress to play ?the girl/the wife? parts in their movies? But all I can think about is how low-brow all of this is.
Anyway, this is just a fashion post. I looked through Salma?s recent interviews to see if there were any asinine quotes that I?ve missed, and I hadn?t missed anything. So at least we don?t have another Goopy Salma interview to pour through. We just get to talk about her Valentino dress/outfit. With the blazer, I think this is an unfortunate and unflattering look. But without the blazer? it?s okay. Not great. The dress looks kind of cheap and stiff, but Salma looks pretty in general. I still can?t believe she considers herself to be ?at the limit of chubbiness.? Ugh.
Do you notice something weird? I noticed something weird. Salma supports her husband at all of the fashion events he has to go to, but Francois-Henri rarely shows up at her premieres. Hm.

I was actually pretty pleased that so many of you commented on the Sarah Palin post yesterday, and that we managed to keep it mostly about superficial things. My intention was not to discuss Palin?s politics whatsoever ? I was just startled by these recent photos of her, in which she looked drastically thinner. Most of you agreed with me ? she?s lost a lot of weight recently. Some pointed out that her hair style is doing her no favors, and that she seems to have gotten some kind of dental work that?s changed her face. But dental work and new hair doesn?t explain why she?s barely filling out these super-slim jeans.
Well, Sarah Palin reads Celebitchy (maybe?!) and she wants us to STFU. She emailed People Mag to tell them that she?s doing fine, thank you very much, and that she?s even planning to do a book about ?fitness and self-discipline.? Er??
New photos of Sarah Palin looking very thin have caused a stir online, and now the former Alaska governor and 2008 VP nominee tells PEOPLE she’s just fine and is, in fact, working with her family on a new fitness book.
In an email to PEOPLE on Tuesday, Palin ? who’s known to treat houseguests to a smorgasbord of homemade treats such as moose chili, chocolate cream pies, pecan pies and lemon meringue pies ? wrote, “Our family is writing a book on fitness and self-discipline focusing on where we get our energy and balance as we still eat our beloved homemade comfort foods!”
Palin, 48, says she will discuss the topics in “our unique and motivating book.”
“We promise you what we do works and allows a fulfilling quality of life and sustenance anyone can enjoy,” she adds.
It is unclear if Palin has a contract for the upcoming book or when the work will be published.

This feels strange. Like, a strange PR move if it is in fact a PR move. So, Palin was photographed looking really, really skinny all of a sudden, and when various blogs and sites carried the photos, Palin?s first reaction is to email People Mag and describe how she?s going to do a book about fitness and ?self-discipline?? Obviously, I doubt the whole ?Sarah Palin is sitting there, trying out recipes and dutifully taking notes in some kind of scientific method? thing. I?m sure this book will be ghost-written. But that still doesn?t answer the fundamental question: what?s going on with her? Why does she looks so different so suddenly?

Here are some photos from about a week ago of Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise out with one of Suri’s school friends (according to one of our photo agencies, but that can’t be right) for a spot of shopping. Notice that Katie has a new pair of fug booties in her arsenal, and I imagine we’ll be seeing those for at least the next year or so. Also, while Tom Cruise is alternatingly so lonely and miserable and cruising for da ladies, a new story from Radar would have us believe that Katie has decided to lay low and not leap back into the dating game for awhile. While this will come as very sad news for those of you who wish she would just get back with Joshua Jackson already, Katie has decided she’s had enough of the opposite sex for awhile, and she’s not merely referring to “old geezers” like Tom either. Call it the Gollum effect:

“Katie believes in love and hopes to get remarried one day but has absolutely no plans on dating anytime soon. Can one really blame Katie for not wanting to jump back onto the market so soon? Her last experience culminated in her transformation into a mail-order bride where she was essentially married to both Tom and David Miscavige. She’s probably got a good case of PTSD to work through, and dating would obviously only complicate her recovery. Yes, I am saying that being married to Tom Cruise and his cult was a highly traumatic experience, and there’s also the distinct possibility that she had sex with Tom too, which couldn’t possibly have made things any easier. Hell, Tom probably shouted “I feel the need for speed!” at crucial moments. Poor Katie probably needs a good, long break before she’ll ever be able to sleep with anyone again after that little nightmare.

They separated in February 2011, after which Olivia had a lot of praise for her ex. She also spent many months dating around and being seen with various eligible men (Ryan Gosling, Justin Timberlake, etc). Olivia finally settled on Jason Sudeikis at some point, and they?ve been inseparable ever since. This is the backstory for this Olivia Wilde interview/monologue. Apparently, Olivia has now taken to discussing her lack of a quality sex life during her marriage to Tao. Which really sucks for him, right? After all, HE MADE HER A PRINCESS.
Olivia Wilde’s ladyparts cannot tell a lie. At These Girls (an evening of monologues, hosted by Glamour mag) in NYC Monday night, Wilde discussed trying to fake happiness with her ex-husband Tao Ruspoli towards the end of their eight-year marriage (the couple divorced in 2011). Ultimately, she says, she should have just listened to her, well . . .
“I felt like my vagina died,” she shared (via Vulture) of her sex life with the filmmaker and Italian prince, 36. “Turned off. Lights out . . . you can lie to your relatives at Christmas dinner and tell them everything on the home front is just peachy. But you cannot lie to your vagina.”
Wilde, 28, has since moved on from the heartache surrounding her split from Ruspoli; now, the Butter star (and her you-know-what) are happier than ever with her love of nine months, Jason Sudeikis.
Explaining that she is currently “blissfully, hopefully, wildly in love,” the actress boasted that she and the Saturday Night Live standout “have sex like Kenyan marathon runners.”
After delivering her monologue, Wilde caught up with Vulture, where she elaborated on her personal relationship manifesto.

Sudeikis sat in the audience to show his support during his girlfriend’s impassioned Monday night speech. (Recently, a source close to Wilde and the comedian, 37, told Us Weekly that the pair are “totally inseparable” and “living together now.”)
Although they’re going strong, marriage is something they’ll most likely hold off on, for now. (Sudeikis has also been married before; he divorced actress and screenwriter Kay Cannon in 2010).
“They’ve both been married, so they’ve already experienced that and know what it entails,” the insider shared. “It’s something for down the road.”

I understand the point she?s trying to make when she says men ?are not allowed to be the only ones thinking with their genitals.? I get it. She?s saying that sex/intimacy is important in any relationship and in any healthy marriage, and that men shouldn?t be the only ones who get to use the ?biological necessity? excuse. The problem? It?s certainly f?king deeper than that, isn?t it? Olivia is making it absurdly simplified ? like, ?I didn?t have much of a sex life with him, but I have a great sex life with my new guy, so it was obviously my ex?s problem.? It might very well have been Tao?s problem. But very rarely is it so cut-and-dry. It feels like Olivia is just throwing her ex and his (malfunctioning?) dong under the bus and declaring victory for her vadge. What about self-reflection and communication? Or should we just applaud her for getting out of a marriage because of sex? Eh. How would we feel if a man had said this? Like, a dude comes out and says that his ex-wife made him feel like his dong had died, and he wasn?t going stick with a woman if he couldn?t get his rocks off? I feel like the reaction would be very different.

Brad Pitt appears on the cover of the October/November issue of Interview Magazine. I?m including some of the more interesting shots from the Steven Klein pictorial ? you can see the slideshow here. I guess the theme of the shoot is ?Brad playing weird characters? ? like, a Rastafarian, a dandy with a little mustache, a beer-drinking rock dude, a guy with an eye patch, etc. My favorites are the beer-drinking rock dude pics. This is Brad?s first major interview in support of Killing Them Softly, his new mobster film directed by his Jesse James director, Andrew Dominic. The interview is decent ? Guy Ritchie interview Brad, and they seem reasonably tight in real life. Guy managed to avoid being sycophantic or ass-kissy, which is nice. Brad on how he decides to do a film: ?Well, listen, I think I’m at a point now where I feel like I can jump into anything and lay something down that’s quality. Someone may be better at it?or maybe not?but I know that if I have a feeling for it, then I can make it interesting. But even more as I get older, it’s about the company that I keep. That’s the most important thing to me?that if I’m gonna spend however long it takes to make a movie, give up 14 hours a day for however many weeks or months, then it’s very important for me to know that I’m working with people who I respect and enjoy and that we’re going for something together. That’s it, really.?
Brad on accent work: ?Well, you know, I like a bit of song, and dialect is a song. I’m most comfortable with the Southern dialects, really. It’s easy, for example, for me to do Irish because we’ve got Irish heritage where I come from. We also have some German heritage. The Upper East Coast, though, is a little bit more connected to a British heritage. I’ve never done a proper Brit.
Brad on media and politics: ?Well, it’s what we were talking about, how so much of what’s in the media?at least in American media?falls in line in this way where it’s just parodying the mission statement. Again, so much of it seems to be about perception. We are a country that needs a story. You know, marketing is the word that I used earlier, but it’s really just a new term for propaganda. It might be a very human thing across the board, but we, in America, love a story?we need a story to get involved in. But then everything becomes more about how the story protects a certain perception as we pick sides? And, by the way, most people’s daily lives are just about surviving. Their lives are about making the weekly nothing and taking the kids out on a Sunday. Most people don’t have time to really study the issues. And the media could help us, but there’s capitalistic interest in the media outlets as well. I mean, the Internet has done a wonderful thing for us. But democracy doesn’t work unless people are well informed, and I don’t know that we are. People just don’t have the time.?
On ?The Assassination of Jesse James?: ?The Assassination of Jesse James remains one of my favorite films that I’ve done. You know, it’s still labeled a loser. In fact, Dominik couldn’t get a job for several years afterward because it got labeled that way after the opening weekend. But then we always knew, “That one’s a fine-wine film. It’s gonna age well.??
Family first: ?Yeah. I want it to be worthy enough of a story to leave the family, you know? They’re everything. The family is first . . . I also don’t want to embarrass them.?
How he feels about himself as an actor: ?Pretty damn solid. I’d say pretty damn solid.?
He enjoys producing more than acting: ?Yeah. I’d rather be behind the camera. As a producer, obviously, you’re part of a team that brings the story to the screen. It wouldn’t be there if you didn’t champion it or if you and a group of people weren’t championing it. I like that.?
On World War Z?s neverending production: ?We’ve got some tidying up to do there, but that one is gonna be big and entertaining. My boys are gonna love it.?
He?s still an Obama supporter: ?Well, I just want to avoid confusion with this film and say I’m a big supporter of Obama, and I think he’s our best answer for the next four years.?

Brad and Guy also have a lengthy discussion about the background of the 2008 financial meltdown and whether or not ?business trumps humanity?. Brad makes some interesting points, but I think he over-simplifies the politics of it. It?s one of the most-anticipated films of the fall, and ?Wreck-It Ralph? has just spoiled movie fans with a brand new teaser clip.
Check out the video below, featuring John C. Reilly as Ralph alongside Sarah Silverman, who plays Vanellope von Schweetz.
Per the synopsis, ?Ralph is tired of being overshadowed by Fix-It Felix (Jack McBrayer), the ?good guy? star of their game who always gets to save the day. But after decades doing the same thing and seeing all the glory go to Felix, Ralph decides he's tired of playing the role of a bad guy. He takes matters into his own massive hands and sets off on a game-hopping journey across the arcade through every generation of video games to prove he's got what it takes to be a hero.?
?On his quest, he meets the tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (Jane Lynch) from the first-person action game Hero?s Duty. But it?s the feisty misfit Vanellope von Schweetz from the candy-coated cart racing game, Sugar Rush, whose world is threatened when Ralph accidentally unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens the entire arcade. Will Ralph realize his dream and save the day before it?s too late??
?Wreck-It Ralph? hits theaters November 2nd.

Hitting theaters nationwide on Friday, "Here Comes the Boom" held its New York City premiere at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square on Tuesday (October 9).
Directed by Frank Coraci, the comedy follows a high school biology teacher, played by Kevin James, who looks to become a mixed-martial arts fighter in an effort to raise funds to help his poverty-stricken school. Costarring with the funny man are Salma Hayek and Henry Winkler as well as a handful of MMA stars.
As writer, co-producer, and star, the 47-year-old comedian considers the film a labor of love. In an interview with ESPN, he talked about combining his love of Mixed Martial Arts and teaching.
He explained, "[W]hat got interesting to me was that these professional fighters aren?t just these gladiators that are in the ring. They?re family people on the outside, they?re just like you and me, they just have a really odd job. But they?re the most incredibly trained athletes, and they?re all friends among each other in the community. They hug afterwards and they?re friends. To see what these guys go through and what inspires them to actually do that, to get into a cage and fight like that, risking their lives, was what was interesting to me. I wanted to make a movie about that and try to tie it into the teaching aspect of it, because I had some very cool teachers back in my past. We definitely tried to keep it as real as possible."

Getting into the fall spirit, the chic country star sported a red sweater, black mini-skirt and oxford boots as she exited the store.
Due to an infection, Rimes had rescheduled a performance set for Friday night.
Nevertheless, despite her recent visit to the ER early Sunday morning, she was in good spirits today during her trip to pick up treats.

Just yesterday, the Brazilian model posted a picture of her and daughter Anja smiling at the beach with the comment, "Daughters are angels sent from above to fill our heart with never ending love!!!! Have a beautiful and happy week ahead everyone..."
Last week, her 5-month-old son Noah got some Facebook love when she shared a photo of her in workout gear with the little guy strapped to her front in a carrier. She captioned it, "This really is a workout! so happy to be with my family when i have days off."

After sparking interest in the media with new thin photographs, Sarah Palin has revealed that she is working on a new fitness book with her family.
The former Alaskan governor emailed PEOPLE and wrote, "Our family is writing a book on fitness and self-discipline focusing on where we get our energy and balance as we still eat our beloved homemade comfort foods!"
While the Palins have been known to serve homemade goods such as moose chili and a variety of pies to guests, the former Vice Presidential nominee insists, "We promise you what we do works and allows a fulfilling quality of life and sustenance anyone can enjoy."
As of right now, it is unknown if the family has a book contract or even when the "unique and motivating" guide will be published.

The insider further explained, "While she maintains a small rent controlled apartment in West Hollywood, she uses it as a storage space for mementos and personal items. All her clothes are at George's and she never goes home."
