Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s kid, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, makes a cameo in the newWorld War Z. But unlike Jaden Smith who keeps coming back to do worse and worse movies with Will because he refuses to accept that Jaden is a terrible actor, Maddox’s career ends in about 10 minutes as he gets shot in the head a bunch of times.
“He gets shot in the head . . . multiple times. But he gets double tapped,” Pitt said of Maddox. Angelina Jolie’s fiance joked, “I don’t know what that says about me as a parent.” Pitt said his sons Maddox, 11, and Pax, 9, “have already seen it and they love it.” (Indeed, alongside their mom, 38, the siblings attended the World War Z in London June 2.)
I suspect putting their kid in a movie just so they can shoot them in the head is the dream of any parent at least once in their life. I mean, of course they don’t want to really kill their kid, but just seeing the dark, twisted fantasy of their child getting double tapped and hearing glorious silence is all some parents need.

I have some distressing news for you guys. There’s a new Lifetime original series calledDevious Maids premiering. It’s about 4 Latina maids who work for rich people in Beverly Hills. It kind of looks likeDesperate Housewives but in maid form. That is to say, altogether terrible. On the bright side, there are a lot of girls in the show and they all showed up for the premiere party in the Palisades last night. Eva Longoria also showed up even though she’s not in the show but I don’t think she had anything else to do anyway.
Not that that’s a bad thing. If I was between jobs as a celebrity, I’d drive around the greater LA area the entire day looking for red carpets to walk on.

If you go to KanyeWest.com and wait a few seconds, you’ll be treated to a short film promo for Yeezus starring Scott Disick and Jonathan Cheben directed by Kanye West himself. The video is a send-up of the famous scene fromAmerican Psycho that everyone loves to parody or “pay homage” to.
Anyway, Scott Disick plays Patrick Bateman in the scene (fitting considering everyone says he looks a little like him without the beard) and he is god awful at it. Watching Disick act makes you appreciate even terrible actors like Lindsay Lohan. Not much, but a little. He emphasizes random words and stilts his speech so much that he sounds half retarded.
Hopefully this will be his acting reel and producers everywhere will watch it and never ever say to themselves, “Hey, maybe we should put this second string Kardashian in a movie.”

On Monday, we covered Katy Perry’s July Vogue cover, which featured a lovely Rodarte dress and a subdued, albeit moderately photoshopped Katy as photographed by Annie Leibovitz. The full spread has now been released, and it’s more of the same — Katy in flowery dresses and largely set in a farm and nature setting. Annie has had a thing for barns in quite a few of her recent celebrity shoots, and I’m instantly reminded of the picture where Daniel Radcliffe was photographed farting sunshine atop a puzzled looking horse. This shoot isn’t bad though, and I’m glad to see a side of Katy that isn’t obnoxiously in our faces. Actually, Katy looks really lovely here, so good on her.
I really do love this red leather skirt. Damn, it is gorgeous.
In addition to this new editorial, Vogue has posted a video clip on its site of Katy’s co-called beauty routine that basically shows her getting made-up by an entire arsenal. In the voiceover, Katy claims that she’s gone from “dramatic makeup” to a “more age-appropriate look.” She also claims that her skin is much better than it used to be, so she doesn’t wear as much makeup anymore. Hmm.
The interview is a mixed bag. Katy admits to being madly in love with John Mayer even though they were broken up at the time of this talk, which was conducted before the Met Gala (Katy mentions that she’ll be wearing Dolce & Gabbana), and of course, we’ve since learned that Katy and John are back together for a third round of grossness. The interview covers a variety of topics that are simultaneously enlightening and predictable. Katy talks both about her failed marriage to Russell Brand and her grand love affair with John, and she talks about her sanctimonious parents even more. Let’s do this:
Is superstardom overwhelming? “Of course I get fazed. And when I am in between records, sometimes I doubt myself. I?ll be like: Did I just get lucky, or did I mass-manipulate the world into thinking that seven songs were worth a number-one position? And then I go back into the studio and I start writing, and the true essential oil of who I am comes bubbling back up and reminds me that it?s always been inside of me, that nobody can take this away no matter what comment anyone makes. It’s going to be there because it?s what I was born with and it’s what I?ve worked on my whole life.”
More about her childhood: The atmosphere at home, she says, was “not fun.” She told me, “My parents did not spare the rod. I wasn?t going to great schools, because my parents didn?t believe in public education. They wanted the education to be influenced by their religion, so I was going to these halfway education-slash-Christian schools that were like pop-up shop–style education. My father is hilarious. That?s where I get my sense of humor from. Sooo, he?s very funny and a practical joker, but he?s more emotional and driven. I mean, my mother is very emotional as well, but my dad is more of the guts of the family. He was the main preacher, so he kind of had this little Pentecostal flair, but they are born-again. So there?s a little bit of my background.”
Russell Brand was a “magical man” at first: “He’s a very smart man, and I was in love with him when I married him. Let’s just say I haven?t heard from him since he texted me saying he was divorcing me December 31, 2011. I mean, I have to claim my own responsibility in things. I do admit that I was on the road a lot. Although I invited him time and time again, and I tried to come home as much as I possibly could. You saw that in the movie.” Katy Perry: Part of Me, a documentary released last year that has garnered $32 million worldwide to date, covers the period before, during, and after her time with Brand. “That wasn’t edited to leave footage out–there wasn?t any footage of him.”
On their 14 month marriage: “At first when I met him he wanted an equal, and I think a lot of times strong men do want an equal, but then they get that equal and they’re like, I can?t handle the equalness. He didn’t like the atmosphere of me being the boss on tour. So that was really hurtful, and it was very controlling, which was upsetting. I felt a lot of responsibility for it ending, but then I found out the real truth, which I can’t necessarily disclose because I keep it locked in my safe for a rainy day. I let go and I was like: This isn’t because of me; this is beyond me. So I have moved on from that.”
Is her thing with John Mayer ongoing or over? “Over.” Oh, my. I had made the tabloid reader?s assumption that she was stepping out with Mayer as a classic “revenge” relationship, to show ol’ Rusty Brand what he was missing–but she cuts in: “No, not at all. No, I was madly in love with him. I still am madly in love with him.” With John Mayer? That wasn?t what I expected to hear at all. “All I can say about that relationship is that he’s got a beautiful mind. Beautiful mind, tortured soul. I do have to figure out why I am attracted to these broken birds.”
On her future love life: “I hope I don?t have to live as a widow.” Whaaat? “An emotional widow. No, I don?t believe that. But I think that I can just right now focus on me and strengthening myself and my emotional support system. I’m not in a relationship, I’m just on my own–I am myself in my own bed. I have to be happy being alone, and I am happy.” She tries so hard, Katy Perry. It?s what she does. “I believe that I will be loved again, in the right way.” Bright-eyed, she looks up. “I know I?m worth it.”

This is kind of an odd interview for Vogue and features Katy taking the journalist to her favorite taco place for dinner where they run into Orlando Bloom, Miranda Kerr, and Flynn (journo notes that they act weird around each other, and “everyone’s performing except the baby.” LOL). Then Katy talks a lot about how she’s currently working on her third studio album (she plays a few songs for the journo, who nearly cries tears of happiness). Strange.
So what do you make of Katy’s discussion of Russell Brand? I think she’s hinting that he either cheated or just gave up on their marriage too early. He may have stepped out on her (dude isn’t one for monogamy and freely admits it) while she was on tour, but I think the even bigger problem is that these two got married before they even really knew each other. They were both enamored with each other’s public images and never imagined how they could “make it work” until they realized, very quickly, that it wasn’t working. As Rusty recently told Esquire, “you’ve got to really, really want” a successful marriage, and he just didn’t. Katy seems like she was upset he didn’t give it more time before throwing in the scarf. I am a Rusty fangirl, but I’ll admit that texting her about the divorce is pretty harsh. I’m sure that he’d already decided he wanted out no matter what, but Katy at least deserved a phone call.
That’s pretty hilarious how Katy calls John Mayer “beautiful” and tortured” though, isn’t it? Maybe she really meant “good in bed” and “douchey.”

As you may have heard, Brooke Mueller quit Betty Food rehab right around the time that Lindsay Lohan ignored the fact that her rehab was court-ordered and went to a more crackhead-friendly facility. Lohan’s freedom hangs in the balance, but you know nothing is going to happen to her. Brooke, on the other hand isn’t likely to ever gain custody of her twin four-year-old boys. She’s tried twice and failed to have the boys removed from Denise Richards’ care and put in the custody of her own family, so she can keep Charlie Sheen’s child support money in the family. It’s not going to happen. Like Lohan, she’s probably not going to kick her (meth) addiction, either. Brooke reportedly quit rehab because she was expected to do chores and found it “too hard”
The 35-year-old Palm Beach socialite did not like the manual labor asked of patients at the famed Rancho Mirage, Calif., center, such as chores, a source said.
?Brooke didn?t tell anyone, including her lawyer, that she had left Betty Ford,? an insider close to the situation told Radar.
?Brooke hated Betty Ford because she was required to do daily chores, which she resented. She complained that Betty Ford was just too hard. Betty Ford is hardcore and Brooke just doesn?t respond well in situations where she can?t call the shots.?
But her abrupt move to leave the facility and enroll in a clinic in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. ? her 21st stint in rehab ? could have severe consequences in her bid to regain custody of her four-year-old twins with the Anger Management star, Bob and Max.
On Tuesday, there will be a routine hearing in the ongoing custody battle, where the judge is expected to grill Mueller?s lawyer about leaving Betty Ford.
?This could have a serious impact on Brooke?s bid to get custody of the twins. Brooke just doesn?t seem to be taking get sober that seriously,? the source said.
?Her doctors at Betty Ford advised her not to leave, but she did anyway. Her counselors will be submitting an extensive report about Brooke?s time at Betty Ford and it won?t be glowing, that is for sure.?
Neither Sheen or the twins? guardian, the actor?s second ex-wife, Denise Richards, are expected to be in court for the hearing.

Doesn’t AA have a saying “it works if you work it?” This is Brooke’s 21st stint in rehab. Obviously she is not working a program at all, since she thinks that she shouldn’t have to do anything. She expects to get high, live off Charlie Sheen’s money, and let everyone else raise her children. The thing is, if she doesn’t have custody of her children she loses out on the $55k a month Charlie pays her in child support. It looks like Charlie has been taking pity on her for a while, because it recently came out that Denise Richards has been caring for Brooke’s twins since last summer. Thank goodness for that. Chances are low that Brooke will ever regain custody, especially since she couldn’t hack Betty Ford. That’s surely for the best, and she needs to get cut off from Charlie’s money so she won’t be able to afford drugs. She’ll find a way though I’m sure.

She starred in the Jack Kerouac flick ?On the Road? last year, and it seems Kristen Stewart picked up on some of the story?s wanderlust for herself.
The ?Snow White and the Huntsman? hottie hit up a Hooters restaurant in Amarillo, Texas on Saturday where she ended up posing for photos with the wait staff and a few customers.
An eyewitness told press, "She was trying not to be noticed, so she sat with her back to the restaurant. When she was eating, a guy asked her if she was Kristen Stewart. She said, 'Yes.' When the guy asked her if he could take a photo, she asked if she could take it after her meal."
The next day, KStew arrived in Memphis, Tennessee where she enjoyed some down-home cooking at Blues City Caf before showing up at the Coyote Ugly Saloon.
A source at the bar shared, "She walked in with friends around 1 a.m. It was a slow night and we were about to close when they came in. The girl with Kristen told me that she was moving to New Orleans. [They drank and played pool and] I am pretty sure she won a few games. She was excited about that, seemed like a good pool player."
"She was on the patio at one point and then said, 'Oh hi, I'm Kristen,' introducing herself. She was very nice...She was so cool. Really down to earth."

Hugh Jackman covers Men’s Fitness in a t-shirt, which is somewhat disappointing to me. However I know that Hugh Jackman shirtless photos occasionally come out, and that we’ll have lots of opportunities to admire his manly chest when Wolverine comes out at the end of next month. Maybe, if we’re lucky, he’ll do some frolicking beach candids as part of the lead-up. Here’s hoping! Also, Hugh fills out a t-shirt much better than meathead Joe Manganiello, who can’t act his way out of a paper bag. I was just reminded of that in the season premiere of True Blood. Someone needs to put those stupid methhead wolves out of their misery.
Getting back to Hugh, he’s gorgeous, he’s thoughtful, he’s polite, and he’s an all-around decent guy. He knows this too, and he explains it in a very matter-of-fact way, saying that it’s easier to be nice to someone than to tell them off. I’m going to try and keep this in mind in my day-to-day life, not that I have an anger issue but I will tell someone off for being rude. (Cutting in line is a pet issue of mine.)
On Dwayne Johnson?s fitness advice: ?He told me that if in a six-month period you want to put on 25 pounds of lean muscle and not fat, eat natural and eat 6,000 calories a day. There were times when I would literally eat with the mind set of working out. ?One more mouthful, one more, come on, come on, you?ve got to finish this meal!??
On being referred to as the Nicest Guy in Hollywood: ?As an actor, I?ve always believed that any label is your enemy. Look, I was brought up in a way where you treat people with respect. So it?s certainly easier for me to be polite and respectful to people than to be an asshole. Like, if I?m walking down the street with my family and the 29th person says, ?Hey man, can I get a photo?? for me to say, ?No photos, get f?ked?? for the next hour I?ll be thinking I shouldn?t have said that. Whereas, if I say either, ?Yeah, no problem,? or, ?Listen, I?m with my family now, but it?s nice to meet you,? then I move on, in a way it?s easier. It?s a mixture of that and also not being a wanker.?
On trying to be himself: ?I try to be myself as much as I can when I?m not acting, for better or worse, but I?ve had publicists who?ve told me it?s a bad idea: ?You move your hands too much, you did this too many times, you should do this, you shouldn?t talk about that.??

I love him so much! I want to have Hugh’s babies and make whichever constant recipes he needs for his latest fad diets. I know he’s happily married and it’s not to be, but that just ads to the attraction for me. He is good, committed husband and father, and while Hugh is widely admired he just doesn’t get enough love. You know why that is? Because he’s not controversial. As he said, he’s just who he is and he doesn’t try to be anyone else. He’s a genuine person and that comes through in everything he does. Also, he better win an Oscar in the next handful of years.

Jay-Z has been all over the place recently, and for good reason. On Sunday, he announced that he would be putting out a new album called Magna Carta Holy Grail, because of course that?s what it?s called. I actually think the ?Carta? is a play on ?Carter? right? Like, Jay is saying he?s the Magna Carta (Carter). What?s interesting about this album release is that Jay has teamed with Samsung in a HUGE way. Samsung produced the commercial announcement for the album, and Samsung is buying and ?giving away? one million copies of the album three days before the album officially drops (on July 7). Apparently, this deal has lead a lot of people to complain about Jay ?selling out?. RLY? Are those people not aware of how Jay and Beyonce roll these days? Even their farts have corporate sponsors. Believe it or not, I do get tired of bashing Kristen Stewart. I mean, I?m not her biggest fan or anything, but there are certainly worse celebrities who piss me off on a more regular basis. Kristen is just a try-hard emo hipster who needs to stop giving interviews and stop boning married men. So, I?ll still defend her about some things. With that in mind, I have to say that Kristen has been handling her breakup really well. She?s been stepping out for regular candid photo-ops, she?s been looking clean-ish and sober-ish, and she hasn?t issued any public statements. Good for her. All of that is really, really smart.

It looks like K-Stew went on a road trip to Amarillo to see the Cadillac Ranch, a public art installation. While in Amarillo, Kristen stopped into the local Hooters for some wings too, which is where these Instagram photos come from. According to eyewitnesses, Kristen was in a good mood, agreeing to pose for photos with fans outside of the Hooters. She even bought herself a Hooters t-shirt!

On Saturday night, Robert Pattinson’s ex had some of the Texas breastaurant’s famous Daytona chicken wings and a beer, a source tells E! News. Although she reportedly tried to keep a low profile, the star agreed to take some pictures after dinner with fans and the “delightfully tacky, yet unrefined” ladies themselves.
“She was trying not to be noticed, so she sat with her back to the restaurant,” says a source. “When she was eating, a guy asked her if she was Kristen Stewart. She said, ‘Yes.’ When the guy asked her if he could take a photo, she asked if she could take it after her meal.”
And, true to her word, K.Stew went outside to a group of fans outside and took pictures. “She was really nice,” says the source, adding that the 23-year-old star “smiled and said bye before she left.”
Although the Twilight beauty reportedly asked fans not to post their snaps on social media, a few just couldn’t resist. One supercute pic shows Kristen and a young girl smiling together, and another shows the actress mid-laugh surrounded by Hooters employees.
Kristen’s not the only celeb who’s a fan of orange shorts and cleavage! Selena Gomez, who frequented the chain as a child with her father, recently hit up the Hooters in Boston.

Yes, the first thing that came to mind was that Kristen is ?copying? Selena Gomez. Selena has been very vocal about feeling at home at Hooters, since her father used to take her there all the time. After walking the red carpet in Times Square last night for his big-budget zombie epic ?World War Z,? Brad Pitt was expected to slip off to an intimate VIP dinner for 30 at Meatpacking District hot spot Catch. The hush-hush dinner was for the cast and filmmakers, as well as Paramount boss Brad Grey, we hear. Pitt?s partner, Angelina Jolie, was not at the premiere, and Pitt told us she was with their kids and getting ready to embark on a trip for UN World Refugee Day, June 20.
Following the dinner, Pitt was to head to a Catch Rooftop after-party for 200 sponsored by Esquire magazine and DeLen tequila. Earlier yesterday, after Pitt appeared on ?Good Morning America? ? and reported that Jolie?s ?doing great? after her double mastectomy ? he headed to Forty Four at The Royalton for coffee.
A witness reports, ?A group of fans then approached him in the lobby and begged for photos. Brad?s security team gave him a look, but Pitt replied, ?Of course ,I can take a photo ? I would love to.? ?

Melissa Etheridge is a breast cancer survivor and has been cancer free, by her own account, for nine years. She was with her last partner, Tammy Lynn Michaels, throughout her chemo and breast cancer battle and then she got better, cheated on Tammy with a mutual friend, left her and tried to get out of paying alimony or child support. That’s not conjecture, Tammy pretty much aired all their dirty laundry when she found her lifestyle massively downsized in the wake of the split.
I wouldn’t give that full unflattering intro to Melissa if she had just said that she disagreed with Angelina Jolie’s choice instead of painting her own cancer struggle like the best choice. She has every right to disagree with a preventive double mastectomy, especially as someone who dealt with cancer. What she did was shade someone else’s health decisions and act as if hers was so much nobler. At least that’s how I’m interpreting it. Here’s what she said:
BLADE: As a breast cancer survivor yourself, what did you think of Angelina Jolie?s announcement?
ETHERIDGE: I have to say I feel a little differently. I have that gene mutation too and it?s not something I would believe in for myself. I wouldn?t call it the brave choice. I actually think it?s the most fearful choice you can make when confronting anything with cancer. My belief is that cancer comes from inside you and so much of it has to do with the environment of your body. It?s the stress that will turn that gene on or not. Plenty of people have the gene mutation and everything but it never comes to cancer so I would say to anybody faced with that, that choice is way down the line on the spectrum of what you can do and to really consider the advancements we?ve made in things like nutrition and stress levels. I?ve been cancer free for nine years now and looking back, I completely understand why I got cancer. There was so much acidity in everything. I really encourage people to go a lot longer and further before coming to that conclusion.

Cancer survivors, do you find it offensive that she said “cancer comes from inside you” and that you could turn it on or off with “stress” and “acidity levels”? That’s what she said, isn’t it? While there are legit environmental factors, it wouldn’t have killed her to be a little more diplomatic about it. I get not agreeing with preventative mastectomies, but it’s offensive to imply that cancer patients brought it on themselves or can somehow control it just because that was her experience. Yes there are probably things people can do, but health issues can be random and scary and sometimes it’s just genes and horrible luck. Sometimes people do everything they’re supposed to, get the short end of the stick and die way before their time. Can you blame a woman who lost her mother and aunt to breast cancer for deciding to take matters into her own hands, to be proactive instead of reactive, to get the test, and then essentially erase her chances of having a disease that runs in her family? Angelina took control of her health, and just because she did it in a way that didn’t jibe with Melissa Etheridge’s cancer experience, that’s somehow wrong and “fearful.”

We still don?t have an official name for Baby Kardashian-West. If you?re anything like me, you?ve been checking E! News several times a day to see if they?re going to get the exclusive. For what it?s worth, there?s a theory that Kim is going to save the big reveal for the E! reality show, but I doubt it. I doubt Kim will wait that long. They?ll reveal the name (at the very least) this week, in my opinion. So for now, we?re just left with breathless updates on exactly what down in the delivery room and beyond:
Even though Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s bundle of joy decided to arrive earlier than planned, the reality star didn’t require a cesarean section to deliver her daughter, a source confirms to PEOPLE.
“She was admitted with medical complications and her doctor made the decision that her baby needed to be delivered. Kim had a natural birth,” the source says. “If Kim would have had very serious complications, her doctor would have decided to do an emergency c-section instead.”
As for the baby girl’s name, Kardashian, 32, has mentioned in the past that it will likely begin with a ‘K,’ but so far, she and West, 36, remain undecided, although a second source tells PEOPLE that they are close to a final decision.
“Kim is being very protective of the baby and she says there is no official name,” the first source notes.

I?ve seen some of the gossip/urban sites are throwing pre-emptive shade on Kim, claiming their sources say she definitely had a C-section, so I guess that?s what this People Mag story is about. Personally, I don?t think an optional OR a necessary C-section is something to be ashamed of ? every woman gets to make her own birth choices, for the love of God. For now, if Kim is claiming she delivered vaginally, so be it. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if Kim’s labor was induced though.
As for the name, there?s a source claiming that Kanye and Kim have settled on Kai Georgia Donda West. I didn?t really get the ?Georgia? reference, but apparently Kim?s father?s middle name was George. One of Kim?s friends, Larsa Pippen, told E! News that the baby girl is ?so cute? and that Kanye is also ?so cute? He doesn?t leave the room. He?s, like, in love with the baby.?

Amy Adams covers the July issue of Allure Magazine. This is a terrible photoshoot. But I usually think Amy?s photoshoots are bad. No disrespect to Amy, who I adore. But her fashion editorials usually suck and I think she?s not the best ?model?. While I like the fact that Allure didn?t Photoshop her eye crinkles, this cover in particular is like some Grey Gardens shiz. In the interview, Amy admits that her natural features don?t really lend themselves to a strong editorial look:
Without makeup: “I have no features without makeup. I am pale. I have blond lashes. You could just paint my face?it’s like a blank canvas. It can be great for what I do.”
On perfection: “Perfect isn’t normal, nor is it interesting. Some of these actresses or public personas who very public about their disciplined diets, more power to them. I just don’t see the point. I’m just not going to be one of those people photographed in a bikini where people are like, ‘OMG, look at Amy!’ I mean, it might be OMG, but not for the reasons I want. Do you know, the people I love as actresses, I’ve never, ever sought out pictures of them to see what they look like in a swimsuit.”

I have sensitive skin too, and I break out in rashes depending on soap and lotions too, so I can feel her pain with the razor burn and no-waxing thing. The last time I tried to wax a part of my body, it was terrible. I still have the scar. And Lois Lane is not a ?a little chubby?! Amy?s Lois was adorable and her body was completely normal. I wasn?t even really looking at her body, which is fine with me. That means that Lois didn?t frighten me with her jutting bones.

Everyone has been praising Angelina Jolie for getting that double mastectomy after finding out she had the gene mutation that raised her risk of breast cancer. Everyone except for Melissa Etheridge, that is.
Etheridge is also a breast cancer survivor but went a different route. Instead of the double mastectomy, she underwent chemo and has been cancer free for 9 years. She tells theWashington Bladevia Us that Angelina wasn’t courageous in undergoing the procedure, she was fearful. She also knows exactly what causes cancer. Because she’s a scientist now.
“I have to say I feel a little differently,” the Grammy-winning chanteuse (who, incidentally, performed at Brad Pitt’s wedding to Jennifer Aniston) said of the choice to get a preventive mastectomy. “I have that gene mutation too, and it’s not something I would believe in for myself. I wouldn’t call it the brave choice. I actually think it’s the most fearful choice you can make when confronting anything with cancer.”

Here are some photos from last night?s London premiere of Hummingbird, the latest Jason Statham film. I have to admit, I?m not a big Statham fan, but I know that some of you like him, and I aim to please. Even though his films aren?t my cup of tea, I think Jason is an interesting study in film stardom and celebrity. He?s a little guy who has managed to carve out a niche for himself, starring in an endless stream of action films where he?s always the one running around, kicking ass and shooting guns. He?s sort of like the UK?s version of Mark Walhberg, right? Which is funny because I think Jason and Mark are pretty tight.
Jason is also fascinating to me because he knows the value of having a beautiful, somewhat interesting girlfriend. Jason is not George Clooney ? Jason is not dating cocktail waitresses and shady Vegas types. Jason previously dated Kelly Brook and Sophie Monk ? he likes beautiful women with profiles of their own. His current lady is Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Rosie is 26. Jason is 45. So, there?s that. But his appeal is something else, right? I think he must be really amazing in bed. I?m not even joking. I think he must be mind-blowingly awesome in bed.
As for what Rosie wore to support her man? the dress is Emilio Pucci Fall 2013. Shoes are Casadei. It?s a pretty little minidress, not really my taste but it looks fine on her. She has the body for it and not many women have the body for it. The shoes are awful.
Here?s the trailer for Hummingbird. It looks incredibly violent and the nun is overkill, but I would probably watch this if it came on TV.

Does it seem like it’s been over two-and-a-half years since the dramatic rescue of the 33 Chilean miners from a San Jose mine after they were trapped for 69 days? Time really does fly, and I still freshly recall watching the live feed of all of the miners emerging, one at a time, from the bowels of the Earth to feel fresh air on their faces and find themselves ensconced within the arms of Chilean President Sebastian Pinera. From the very beginning of the end of the day-long rescue, there have been buzzings of this tale being brought to life on the big screen. Now that day has arrived (or at least, the pre-production phase is happening), and Jennifer Lopez has been tapped as part of the ensemble cast.
Last week, Lopez revealed that she was circling a small indie flick, and now it’s emerged that she has signed on to appear in The 33, which will tell the (supposedly) true story of what happened during the more than two months that these miners were trapped. What role will JLo play in the movie? IMDb provides no clues, but it can’t be a huge role. Maybe she plays one of the miners’ wives … or maybe one of the mistresses. There was also a nurse who spoke to many of the miners while they were trapped, and she said she got hit on a lot. That seems like a decent role for JLo, but I question whether she has the gravitas to treat this subject matter with dignity. Here’s a bit of good news though — Antonio Banderas is starring in the movie:
Jennifer Lopez has signed on to join Antonio Banderas in the Chilean miner film The 33.
Mike Medavoy is producing the drama, based on the true story of the 33 Chilean miners who were rescued after being trapped for 69 days in 2010.
The film will mark Lopez’s first big-screen role since starring opposite Jason Statham in this year’s action-thriller Parker.
Martin Sheen and Brazilian actor Rodrigo Santoro also have boarded the ensemble film, which was presented to foreign buyers at last month?s Cannes Film Festival. Good Universe is handling international sales.
Patricia Riggen (La Misma Luna) is directing from a screenplay written by Mikko Alanne and Jose Rivera, with production scheduled to begin in the fall in Chile.
In 2011, Medavoy nabbed the rights to the 33 miners, whose remarkable rescue from the San Jose Mine garnered headlines worldwide. The men were trapped half a mile beneath the Earth?s surface. Banderas is playing the role of Mario Sepulveda, the charismatic miner nicknamed “Super Mario.” Sheen will play a miner’s father, while Santoro is tackling the role of a trapped miner.

Mmm, Rodrigo Santoro. Dude does have a nice booty (as did Antonio in his Original Sin days), and this film will surely have plenty of eye candy because you know they’ll handsome-up the miners a great deal, but I still can’t get over the casting of Jennifer Lopez in this movie. Surely, there are plenty of other Latina actresses (albeit unknown ones) with a lot more acting cred than JLo, but it could’ve been worse … say, if Eva Mendes were cast. Still, it really sounds like JLo signed onto this film to try and rebuild her acting career, which hasn’t been worth anything more than cheesy romcoms since the days of U Turn and Out of Sight. I wish her luck, but JLo would be better off releasing mediocture dance club tunes than attempting to be a “serious” actress on the backs of these miners.

I?m starting to wonder if Henry Cavill has Michael Fassbender Syndrome. In my way of thinking, ?Michael Fassbender Syndrome? is where a man is very attractive, even mind-blowing sexy, but in still photos and on red carpets, he can look rather odd. It?s not a simple issue of being ?photogenic? ? it?s how the man is being photographed. Henry Cavill in motion, on film = HOT. Michael Fassbender in motion, on film = HOT. Fassbender on a red carpet = hit or miss hotness. Cavill on a red carpet = almost always vanilla and overly groomed.
Anyway, these are some nice photos of Henry and Russell Crowe at the Madrid premiere of Man of Steel yesterday. Henry looks? um? not all that great. There has been some concern on Twitter that he?s wearing too much foundation on red carpets. I?m not sure if it?s that or if his skin is just really flawless and we?re not used to it? I?m trying to be nice. As for Rusty? God bless him. I know I?m a broken record about this, but I love him and I would still hit that. Henry was definitely hot as Superman, but Russell?s Jor-El was AMAZING.
Meanwhile, I thought you ladies would enjoy seeing this commercial that Henry made about his extensive physical training for MoS. I guess the commercial is, like, sponsored by the National Guard? That?s weird. It seems to be part of a series and this one is called ?Soldier of Steel?. There?s lots of sweaty Cavill and shirtless Cavill.
I just ignored the militaristic message at the end because I was still perturbed by the fact that Henry?s chest hair is so lacking in this video. In Man of Steel, he had chest fur and it was glorious. So? was he shaving his chest during training? Is that really weird or really common?

One would have thought that Charlie Sheen had learned his lesson after warring with Chuck Lorre to such a ridiculous degree that he was finally fired from “Two and a Half Men” in 2011 and then replaced with surprising success by Ashton Kutcher. Sheen also has another reason to despise Ashton, who is banging Mila when Charlie so desperately wanted her to join the “goddesses” back during their spring 2011 “winning” heyday. Of course, Mila was grossed out by Charlie and chose to be with another (slightly lesser) douche instead. Say what you want about Ashton, he definitely is less of a d-bag than Charlie.
Now Charlie is still looking to settle the score and get Mila on his side in a different manner, and he thinks that waving $10 million dollars will bring her running. You see, Charlie wants Mila to take over for Selma Blair’s role in “Anger Management” after Charlie fake-fired her for complaining about his chronic tardiness and “shoddy work ethic.” Can you blame Selma for being fed up with working at the mercy of the warlock? Not that she didn’t know what she was getting into in the first place:
Charlie Sheen and Selma Blair are in an all out WAR on the set of “Anger Management” … so much so, Sheen says he fired the actress and REFUSES to shoot if she comes to set today, this according to sources connected to the show.
We’re told it all started when Selma complained to “AM” execs that Charlie was a menace to work with — claiming he’s late all the time and has a shoddy work ethic.
Problem is … the actor found out about it and was super pissed. We’re told Charlie felt Selma was out of line considering he’s the star of the show. And he specifically referenced himself learning 40 pages of lines per episode compared to her 2.
But sources close to Sheen tell us the actor did more than just complain … he told everyone HE FIRED SELMA altogether — although it’s unclear how official it was.
Charlie then made it clear to “AM” honchos … if Selma shows up to set Monday — when the show is scheduled to shoot — he’ll refuse to work.
And there’s this … we’re told Charlie now wants to extend an offer to Mila Kunis (a.k.a. Ashton Kutcher’s GF) for a 10 episode arch … at $1 MILLION per episode.
As for the network honchos … our sources say the execs are hoping it will all blow over. But we’re told Charlie specifically asked FX to support him in his decision. Calls to Selma’s people were not returned.

Anyway, I was wondering yesterday why Prince William and Harry were playing polo while Duchess Kate was nowhere to be seen on Sunday. As it turns out, she was celebrating Father?s Day with her dad Michael. Which is sweet:
Before her husband becomes a father, Kate Middleton spent Father’s Day with her dad, Michael Middleton, a source tells Us Weekly. The pregnant Duchess of Cambridge, 31, who is expecting her first child with Prince William on July 11, enjoyed a little quality time with her father in her hometown of Bucklebury, Berkshire on Sunday, June 16.
An insider tells Us that the father-daughter duo went out to lunch together “at a local restaurant.” It’s unclear if Middleton’s siblings, Pippa, 29, and James, 26, or mother Carole joined them on the low-key holiday outing. William, meanwhile, spent Father’s Day competing against brother Prince Harry at the Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club Charity Cup in Tetbury, England.
On June 15, Middleton made her last royal appearance before her baby arrives at the Trooping the Colour ceremony in London. Ahead of her 26 weeks of maternity leave, the royal mom-to-be was glowing in a pale Pink Alexander McQueen coat.
Middleton and William, 30, are now focused on preparing for the arrival of their little one.
“They’re both so excited and have so many questions,” a Middleton family source told Us of the royal couple. “They want to know what the baby will look like and who it will take after.”
While William wraps up his Royal Air Force duties in Anglesey, Wales, Middleton is splitting her time between their Welsh home and London’s Nottingham Cottage, where the baby will live before the September move to Apartment 1A of London’s Kensington Palace. “Catherine wants to be near William in the final weeks,” a source tells Us. “It’s important to her.”

I?m very interested in seeing who the baby takes after too. If the baby is a ginger? well, it was foretold. BY ME. I do wonder if the baby will be a blonde ? William was super-blonde (like, white-blonde) when he was a baby. We?ll see. As for Kate and Michael Middleton going out for a low-key meal on Father?s Day? as I said, I find that cute. I have a lot of shade to throw at Carole Middleton (she really does seem like the British version of Kris Jenner), but Michael seems like a nice man and a loving father.
Meanwhile, Kate was named #1 on yet another ridiculous list. This list was done by some random style site in the UK, and Duchess Kate was named the #1 Modern Day Style Icon. She came out ahead of (in descending order) Victoria Beckham, Cheryl Cole, Kate Moss, Kelly Brook, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Zooey Deschanel, Amy Childs and Cara Delevingne. Brad Pitt appeared on Good Morning America yesterday to promote World War Z, which comes out two Fridays from now. Brad has been hustling WWZ hard for a while ? this film really needs to make major money so it can at least break even with the crazy production costs. I?m considering seeing it to support Brad?s project, although I think the buzz/excitement level for the film has dimmed considerably now that critics have actually watched the film. Which means that Brad has to shill a little harder, and that he was open to taking questions about Angelina?s double mastectomy. Video and transcript below:

Just over one month since Angelina Jolie announced to the world she had undergone a preventive double mastectomy, the actress and mother of six is back to “business as usual,” according to her fiance, Brad Pitt.
“She’s doing great,” Pitt, 49, said today on ” Good Morning America.” “When she wrote her piece we had already come out the other end and we’re feeling very good about it.”
Jolie’s essay in the New York Times explaining how she had both breasts removed after being diagnosed with a rare mutation of the BRCA gene that put her risk of developing breast cancer at nearly 90 percent sparked a global conversation on genetic screening and preemptive medical procedures.
Pitt called the reaction to Jolie’s decision to go public with her very private decision a “beautiful thing to watch.”
“We were really surprised and moved [at] how many other people were dealing with the same issue,” Pitt said. “Her idea was that someone could learn from her story and she would love to share that. I’ve been moved by it from every stage of this thing, especially now, and it seems to be a galvanizing moment for people dealing with this. She’s certainly shown that if you do your research that you can make a decision that’s the best for you. It doesn’t have to be a scary thing. It can be an empowering thing.”
Pitt says the movie, in which he plays a United Nations troubleshooter trying to defend the world against a global zombie invasion, struck a chord for him as a dad in real-life.
“That’s the only thing that keeps me up at night [as a dad],” he said. “Is everyone safe? We tried to make this thing as real as possible when we put in those fears, certainly.”
While Pitt thinks about keeping his kids safe, they, specifically his sons, Knox, 4, Maddox, 11, and Pax, 8, inspired him to create the much-anticipated thriller, in theaters June 21.
“My boys love these things so they were the first impetus to start exploring,” he said of the film, a project Pitt has pursued for several years. “If we were going to do it we want it to be authentic,” he said. “We want to originate it in some way. We worked really hard at it and that’s why it’s taken so many years to get it to the screen.”

Brad also says that the next stop for the film is Moscow! Hopefully that will be this week, and hopefully Angelina will come to Moscow with him. I love Angelina in Russia. She always brings it, and I do think her look is very ?Russian? or Russian-friendly. If anyone has the dates for the rest of the premieres, please post them! Many of Beyonce?s fans want to believe that she not-so-secretly hates Kim Kardashian. I believed that at first, but I don?t anymore. I think Kim has managed to finesse and impregnate her way into the Cool Kids Table, which includes Jay-Z, Beyonce and Gwyneth Paltrow. Beyonce and Kanye West are like siblings, and I think that?s a good way to think of Bey?s relationship with Kim ? they?re like sisters-in-law who are nice to each other on holidays and concert tours. Sometimes they even have fun together. As for Gwyneth ? well, Kim is Tracy Anderson?s client, and by extension, that means Kim is Goop?s client. Goop?s relationship with Kim is business, and since Goop?s business is ?lifestyle? that means she has to be nice to Kim.
Anyway, Beyonce posted a congratulatory message to Kimye on her Tumblr yesterday. She posted the black-and-white image (above ^^) and the message ?Congratulations Kim & Kanye. Enjoy this beautiful moment together.? Do you think Blue Ivy and Knuckle West will be friends growing up? Probably not. But I bet Knuckle will try to hang out with BIC and use BIC for added fame. Obviously, Kim and Kanye are not going to name their baby girl ?Knuckle? but I was just having fun in the gossip vacuum that is the baby name speculation. I?m a little bit surprised they haven?t announced the name yet, but I?m sure we?ll get it sometime this week. I am not surprised that we haven?t seen a photo yet though ? I really do think Kim will be able to talk Kanye into a photo shoot with People Magazine. It will happen. Believe it.
Incidentally, Kris Jenner is already speaking about her new grandbaby. Kris told HLN, ?We?re all fine; we?re all good? and extremely happy and thrilled for the new baby. She?s doing great and she?s beautiful.?
PS? My new guess for the baby name is ?Kami?. It?s a K name, it?s Armenian, and Kami West sounds very ?Kardashian?.

Believe it or not, I do get tired of bashing Kristen Stewart. I mean, I?m not her biggest fan or anything, but there are certainly worse celebrities who piss me off on a more regular basis. Kristen is just a try-hard emo hipster who needs to stop giving interviews and stop boning married men. So, I?ll still defend her about some things. With that in mind, I have to say that Kristen has been handling her breakup really well. She?s been stepping out for regular candid photo-ops, she?s been looking clean-ish and sober-ish, and she hasn?t issued any public statements. Good for her. All of that is really, really smart.
Also smart? She?s getting away from LA! These photos ? the Instagram photos ? are from this weekend, where Kristen was spotted in Amarillo, Texas. It looks like K-Stew went on a road trip to Amarillo to see the Cadillac Ranch, a public art installation. While in Amarillo, Kristen stopped into the local Hooters for some wings too, which is where these Instagram photos come from. According to eyewitnesses, Kristen was in a good mood, agreeing to pose for photos with fans outside of the Hooters. She even bought herself a Hooters t-shirt!

On Saturday night, Robert Pattinson’s ex had some of the Texas breastaurant’s famous Daytona chicken wings and a beer, a source tells E! News. Although she reportedly tried to keep a low profile, the star agreed to take some pictures after dinner with fans and the “delightfully tacky, yet unrefined” ladies themselves.
“She was trying not to be noticed, so she sat with her back to the restaurant,” says a source. “When she was eating, a guy asked her if she was Kristen Stewart. She said, ‘Yes.’ When the guy asked her if he could take a photo, she asked if she could take it after her meal.”
And, true to her word, K.Stew went outside to a group of fans outside and took pictures. “She was really nice,” says the source, adding that the 23-year-old star “smiled and said bye before she left.”
Although the Twilight beauty reportedly asked fans not to post their snaps on social media, a few just couldn’t resist. One supercute pic shows Kristen and a young girl smiling together, and another shows the actress mid-laugh surrounded by Hooters employees.
Kristen’s not the only celeb who’s a fan of orange shorts and cleavage! Selena Gomez, who frequented the chain as a child with her father, recently hit up the Hooters in Boston.

Yes, the first thing that came to mind was that Kristen is ?copying? Selena Gomez. Selena has been very vocal about feeling at home at Hooters, since her father used to take her there all the time. Selena stops into Hooters often enough and poses with the local waitresses, and it?s all very cute. I guess Kristen really likes the wings too.

Ivanka Trump is currently pregnant with her second child. She recently admitted that she works 16 hour days, and that she only sees her two year-old daughter on weekdays in the mornings before she leaves for work and for an hour and 15 minutes in the evening, from 6 to 7:15 before she returns to her office around the corner. As I said in my coverage of that story, I can’t shade her for that. She didn’t present her crazy work schedule as some ideal to live up to, just her own personal choice and she’s been surprisingly candid about it.
In a new interview with US Weekly, Ivanka talks about disciplining her daughter, Arabella, and says that it hasn’t really come up since Arabella is just 2. Ivanka adds that she won’t tolerate Arabella “being spoiled or bratty or having poor manners.” A lot of parents agree.
“She’s really good at telling me I have to share with her. She’s less good about actually sharing back. She offers to share and then when you get close, she pulls it back and says ‘no.’ Particularly when food’s involved.”
“Arabella isn’t even 2, so she hasn’t thrown me the challenges of a teenager . . . but I have a feeling I’m going to be pretty strict. My mother [Ivana Trump] laid down pretty concrete guidelines and the concept of ‘because I said so’ was a totally viable option.”
“The one thing I won’t tolerate is her being spoiled or bratty or having poor manners. That’s one area [in which] I’ll be very strict.”

Well again I can’t fault her for this. I strive to teach my son good manners, and to say “please” and “thank you” and be polite to adults. I would say that you can’t use “spoiled” or “bratty” to describe two year-olds, they’re pretty impulse driven, but she did concede that her daughter is just two. The sharing thing is difficult. I don’t think my son was able to “share” until he was a couple years older than that, although I tried. I think it’s a stage beyond where a two year-old is developmentally. I may not agree with everything Ivanka Trump does or says but she doesn’t act like her way is the only way. She doesn’t proselytize or try to convert people to her way of life. If only more celebrities would realize that the world doesn’t revolve around them and their choices.

Speaking from her own experience, Melissa Etheridge shared her opinion on Angelina Jolie's preventative double mastectomy in a recent interview with the Washington Blade.
A breast cancer survivor herself, the musician answered a question about the actress' choice, saying, "I have to say I feel a little differently. I have that gene mutation too and it?s not something I would believe in for myself.?
Seeing the decision in a different light, Ms. Etheridge continued, "I wouldn?t call it the brave choice. I actually think it?s the most fearful choice you can make when confronting anything with cancer. My belief is that cancer comes from inside you and so much of it has to do with the environment of your body. It?s the stress that will turn that gene on or not.?
Encouraging people to think carefully, the 52-year-old songstress explained, "Plenty of people have the gene mutation and everything but it never comes to cancer so I would say to anybody faced with that, that choice is way down the line on the spectrum of what you can do and to really consider the advancements we?ve made in things like nutrition and stress levels."
Finally, hoping to inspire others with her own story, Melissa concludes, "I?ve been cancer free for nine years now and looking back, I completely understand why I got cancer. There was so much acidity in everything. I really encourage people to go a lot longer and further before coming to that conclusion.?

Last week during an in-studio radio interview with Washington D.C.’s Hot 99.5, one of Jennifer Lopez’s people pushed a phone in her face while she was talking with the host. At first she was kind of taken aback telling the dude that she was live. The host said that it was okay and they weren’t live so Lopez took the call. The host should know everyone is on Jenny’s time.
Turns out she got the role in a film. “I just got this movie I wanted! It’s a great role and a lot of people wanted it. For a little actress like me that’s a big deal!”
Today we find outthe part she got was for the filmThe 33, about those 33 Chilean miners trapped for 69 days in a caved-in mine. She’ll star opposite Antonio Banderas, Martin Sheen and Rodrigo Ssantoro. This will be her first role sinceParkerand probably her most dramatic since, um, that bathtub scene with George Clooney. No word on which character she’ll play but my guess it’ll be a female character. Just call me Nostradamus.
