Over the weekend, Victoria Beckham celebrated her 50th birthday in style. The family gathered in London, and the Beckhams hosted a blowout, celebrity-intensive birthday party at Oswald?s, a private-member club. All of the Spice Girls were there. Tom Cruise was there. Marc Anthony was there. Gordon Ramsey, Salma Hayek, Eva Longoria, Guy Ritchie, Jason Statham and many more were there. Most importantly for Victoria, all of her kids came out and they all dressed to the nines. Hilariously, Brooklyn?s wife Nicola Peltz did not attend. She sent a supportive Instagram but stayed away. I wonder if Brooklyn was like ?babe, don?t come.?
I have a completely different view of the Beckhams after watching David?s excellent Netflix series. Victoria and David are so family-oriented and maybe even trauma-bonded after everything they?ve been through. It?s amazing that they?re still together. I?ll say this too I think Victoria got completely wasted at her party. She arrived at the party on crutches, and then David gave a piggyback ride to his clearly sh-tfaced wife after the party. Twelve-year-old Harper looked haunted by what she saw at the party. What she saw was a Spice Girls reunion:

| Victoria Beckham: 'David has never seen me without my brows' | Added 532 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Victoria Beckham recently gave a lengthy interview to the Times of London to promote her branded makeup line. After years of financial struggle, her fashion line is finally making money, and Posh has branched out into a VB makeup line, which she loves. I?d even say she?s more passionate about her makeup line than her fashion line. Much of the interview is spon-con, but she talks about some interesting family stuff, and I was fascinated with what she discussed about non-invasive skin procedures she?s done, plus her eyebrow drama. Some highlights:
She?s super-involved with her makeup label: ?Look, some people are singers or actresses or models and they happen to have a licence deal where they?re going to put their name to make-up, and there?s nothing wrong with that. But, for me, this is what I do every single day. I split my time between the fashion and the beauty. I?m not a singer. I?m not doing anything else. This and fashion are my job.?
The makeup line was successful from the start: Her fashion line, launched in 2008, finally turned a profit last year, with revenues up 42 per cent to 58 million. Her private equity investor said that, but for Covid, it would have been in the black two years earlier. The beauty line was profitable ?after a year?, according to Beckham. Beauty lines often fund their fashion siblings; she says, ?We?re one and the same company. Fashion has had its challenges, so the fact that we have turned a profit is very exciting.?
Why she?s obsessed with brow pencils: ?Because over the years my brows have been so overplucked that if you saw me without it you?d be horrified. David has never seen me without my brows. They?re the first thing I do: wake up, put on the brow. Mine aren?t even, either ? they?re sisters, not twins. I?m very self-conscious about the overplucking because brows change your whole face. I remember a make-up artist shaving my eyebrows when I was in the Spice Girls. Shaving my eyebrows! When you?re 22 years old and you?re excited that you?re doing a shoot, you don?t think to say, ?Oh, hey, how about you don?t shave my eyebrows?? Then you get to 49 and you?re like, ?Sh-t.? I also did some laser hair removal on my eyebrows. That seemed like a really great thing to do at the time.?
She used to have acne. ?There was a time when you couldn?t put a pin in between them [the spots]. It was severe, severe acne. Thankfully I have quite oily skin, so I didn?t scar, even though I used to enjoy a good old pick. I wouldn?t touch them now, obviously. Or put toothpaste on them overnight, remember that? But I didn?t understand about skin back then, or about cleansing properly, and I certainly didn?t understand the importance of what you put not just on your skin but in your body. For me eating correctly is so important. That and hydration.?
Her strict diet: ?I mean, look, I have a strict diet. I have quite an obsessive personality in everything I do, whether it?s beauty, fashion, working out or eating. I am very, very disciplined. But it?s about eating healthy fats, so lots of avocado, fish, vegetables, but some other things too. I know it makes me sound incredibly boring. I don?t eat any sugar unless it?s in a glass of wine.?
Skin treatments: ?I like to try some laser treatments when I?m in LA, and I do a bit of Collagenwave [a noninvasive skin tightening treatment using radio frequency]. What I have had done, which is quite good, is when they lightly ?burn? the underneath of your eyes. It?s not intrusive, there?s no downtime, so it?s not overly dramatic.? She is unlined but doesn?t have Botox ? ?you tend to get that quite shiny forehead, plus your eyebrows go too high. I?m not trying to turn back the clock. I?m 49 and don?t have a hang-up about it. I want to look like a good version of myself, rested and fresh. I think it?s about little things. Same with make-up ? it?s about not doing too much, which can be really ageing. I went to an event recently and people had very ?big? [overfilled] faces. There are some scary options out there.?
[From The Times]
I agree that whatever she?s doing, it looks good and she looks pretty natural. For the most part, British women aren?t the ones going overboard with fillers and Botox and I believe Victoria when she says that she?s not into that stuff. But sure, she?s had stuff done, which she admits freely, and I appreciate that she?s talking about that. The conversation about her eyebrows cracked me up: ?Mine aren?t even, either ? they?re sisters, not twins.? I?m going to say that from now on, because mine are the same. They don?t ?match.? I have a natural arch in my left brow, and I have rogue hairs which appear at will, regardless of how many times I?ve plucked those fkers. Whenever women are like ?don?t overpluck, you?ll never get your brows back,? I?m like ?HOW?? I pluck and pluck and they just grow back worse. And I guarantee that David has seen her without her eyebrows, OMG.

| Victoria & David Beckham caught Covid in March, were they 'super-spreaders?' | Added 4 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

In March, it felt like the pandemic learning curve was pretty steep for most people. What was socially acceptable on March 5th was completely unacceptable by March 25th. We learned so much in such a short time. All of which to say, I can sort of understand how people were partying and acting like nothing was wrong in the first week of March. We were so innocent then. David and Victoria Beckham weren?t paying attention to the pandemic around that time as well. Their son Brooklyn Beckham turned 21 on March 4, and the Beckhams had a big party in the UK for his birthday. In the days before that, Victoria and David were in Miami for some massive parties for David?s Miami football club. So? yeah, turns out that David and Victoria caught Covid around then, and Victoria feared they were early ?super-spreaders.?
David and Victoria Beckham secretly battled coronavirus after catching it schmoozing in the States. Several relatives and staff members also came down with the killer bug following the launch of Becks? new football club. Victoria, 46, feared they may be ?super-spreaders? after flying back to the UK for son Brooklyn?s 21st birthday do, with guests such as Stormzy and Emma Bunton. Tests later confirmed the couple?s Covid diagnosis.
Last night a friend said: ?It was an absolute nightmare scenario. David was on duty for his club Inter Miami, and Victoria and the family flew down to support him. They attended a couple of swanky networking events as David had promotional duties, and were shaking hands and kissing fans and various club dignitaries. They then flew back to London, and were whisked straight to their Cotswolds mansion.?
The source said the couple celebrated Brooklyn?s 21st before a short trip back to the States, this time to Miami. When they returned, the source went on, ?David started to feel ill and then Victoria developed a sore throat and high temperature. At the same time, several of their team including drivers, bodyguards and assistants fell ill ? a couple of them very badly so. Victoria really panicked and made the whole family quarantine rigidly for more than two weeks. She was utterly petrified they might be super-spreaders, and did all she could to minimize all future risk. Not only was she poorly in bed, she was also completely panicked. It was a rough few weeks.?
After making full recoveries, Posh and 45-year-old Becks checked in regularly with their team. They are understood to have sent ?care packages? to at least two staff members who were particularly badly affected.
The couple spent the entire summer holed up in their country manor ? complete with swimming pool, football pitch and hot tub ? and declined several party invites. They later had swab and antibody tests before holidaying in Greece and Italy to ensure they were safe to travel. The pair also canceled middle son Romeo?s planned 18th birthday last weekend over fears they would break social distancing rules. Their nightmare COVID ordeal is believed to have begun on March 1, when Becks? Inter Miami side played their first game away at Los Angeles FC.
[From Page Six]
I mean? considering all of the back-and-forth traveling, I?m struggling to understand why everyone believes that Posh and Becks absolutely caught the virus in Miami. In the first week of March, they were mingling and partying with everyone in the UK AND America. It?s pretty likely they caught it in America, sure, but it?s also clear that they didn?t take any of the pandemic talk seriously until they started feeling like sh-t. Anyway, I?m glad everyone involved in the Beckham household and support staff is feeling better.

| Victoria Beckham: 'It was a sign of insecurity' that I used to wear tight clothes | Added 4 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Victoria Beckham recently did a Q&A session with fashion students all around the UK. She?s apparently a patron of ?Graduate Fashion Week,? which I guess means that she went out of her way to make videos and send best wishes to fashion-academy graduates this year. Victoria ended up chatting about her own personal style, her fashion regrets and whether you?ll ever catch her in elastic-waistband sweatpants and sneakers. Some highlights:
On her Spice Girls style, which involved corsets & bodycon clothes: When I was in the Spice Girls there were stylists who dressed the group, but in my personal life, I have never worked with a stylist. I used to wear lots of structured dresses with corsetry, and I do still have some of those dresses, but my personal style has become more relaxed. Looking back, I guess it was a sign of insecurity that I would always wear clothes that were very tight, very fitted.?
She?s wears sneakers often: I just can?t run around the studio doing everything in high heels. I?m juggling a lot: being a mom, being a wife, being in the studio every day. I remember one time at a show in New York where I wore a pair of masculine trousers and trainers, and everyone went crazy, Oh my God, she?s wearing trainers!
Advice to younger people, what she would tell herself at that age: I always say I can handle mistakes that were made by me, but not mistakes that were made against my instinct. Trust that gut ? it?s there for a reason.
The future of fashion: I?m looking forward to the future in this industry, actually. I feel like we can all come out of this better, personally and professionally? The generation coming into adulthood now will have experienced something that none of the rest of us have. I feel like this has taught all of us a lot about how to work together as teams, both in our home lives and professionally. This crisis will have expanded the horizons of all of us, in a way.
No elastic waists? yet: ?I still get up early and exercise every day, then I dress for work and for comfort. A pair of old jeans, a T-shirt or a jumper. I?m not quite at the elasticated waistband stage yet ? I still want to feel good about myself. We?ve been going out on country walks every day, so the only shoes I wear are an old pair of trainers. It?s so nice just to do things with the family and not think too much about getting dressed. So, definitely no heels.
[From People]
I?m about to say something harsh but true: people who have spent the past three months quarantining in HARD PANTS are the crazy ones. I?ve bought clothes in quarantine, and all of them have been much-needed loose-fitting shorts & sweatpants/lounge pants. It?s not a fking crime to want to wear comfortable clothes with some elastic in the waist while we?re stuck at home, God! As for wearing tight clothes and that somehow equaling ?insecurity,? I can?t really tell if she was speaking generally or about herself in particular. If she wore tight things because she was insecure, so be it and I?m glad she changed up her style. But some women just like to wear tight clothes or revealing clothes or short skirts and it has nothing to do with insecurity.

| Wait, Victoria Beckham has 14 'engagement rings' at this point' | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Honestly, I?ve never thought much of Victoria Beckham?s style and styling. Even now that Posh is ?classy? and Vogue-friendly, I still find her look to be pretty unnotable. The trousers are usually too big and too long, the color choices are questionable and she replaced the flat-ironed ?90s hair with a string of artfully messy chignons. Blah, boring. But maybe I always thought Posh was boring because I never really clocked her jewelry? As it turns out, Victoria has been quietly hoarding major jewelry this whole time. She?s all about the big rings, and she always wears them on her left hand, which makes The Sun believe that Posh has ?14 engagement rings.?
Victoria Beckham has revealed her 14th engagement ring from her 18-year marriage to David. Seemingly not content with the original 65,000 diamond he proposed with back in 1998, Victoria has changed her rock multiple times ? with the collection now totalling an estimated 8.9million.
The couple celebrated their anniversary earlier this week and Victoria unveiled her latest addition to her extensive collection of jewels. As she touched down in Paris Fashion Week she showed off a stunning yellow diamond which was set in a platinum band. The piece is thought to be worth over 120,000 but it?s just one in a long line of upgraded engagement rings Victoria has shown off over almost two decades.
[From The Sun]
You can go to the Sun to see all of her ?engagement ring upgrades.? Personally, I don?t believe we should call them engagement rings at all. They?re cocktail rings or anniversary rings or JUST RINGS which she happens to wear on her left hand. Maybe her ring fingers are different sizes on each hand mine are and she prefers to wear rings on her left hand, just in general. I?m right-handed, and I don?t like to wear jewelry on my right hand or wrist. Hm.
Here?s a close-up of the allegedly new ring, the ?14th.?

| Victoria Beckham: 'I try really, really hard' I am trying to be the best wife' | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

This month has been full of rumors about the state of Victoria and David Beckham?s marriage. I honestly don?t think that David is doing the most to deny those rumors, but Victoria is. I go back and forth and Victoria, quite honestly I think sometimes she gets the short end of the stick because she actually cares, she cares about her image, she cares about her marriage, she cares about keeping her family together. While she cares so much, David often seems somewhat disengaged from the marriage. So do we dislike Posh for caring? For not giving up? I don?t know. I do know that she continues to do the most to present this happy-family image. Posh has been in New York this week, and she gave a speech at the Forbes Women?s Summit on Tuesday.
Victoria Beckham celebrated her marriage to David Beckham in the wake of reports that the couple was on the road to separation. The fashion designer, 44, who shares four children with the soccer star, 43, spoke openly about how she balanced her personal and professional life.
?I try really, really hard. I try hardest to be the best mother,? Victoria said at the Forbes Women?s Summit in New York City on Tuesday, according to Hello!. ?I am trying to be the best wife and the best professional. When I get home I try to put the phone down and spend time with the children and spend time with David,? she continued.
?I have the support of an incredible husband. We really are equal with everything we do at home with the children,? Victoria said. ?When I?m away he?s the one doing the school run and doing the cooking.?
?When I take Harper to school I tell her, ?Harper you?re a girl and you can do anything.? She?s a strong woman. She wants to be an inventor. She?s a strong smart woman. A little woman.?
[From People]
This just made me sort of sad, because I believe her: I believe that she tries really, really hard. She tries to be a great mom, a great wife, a great designer and a great businesswoman. And then she?s criticized for trying to hard, for caring so much, for striving to be better. We can?t win as women, remember. We have to be all things to all people all the time, and when we try to do that, we?re criticized for A) not being perfect enough and B) trying to be perfect. And where?s David in all of this? He just jets off and hangs out with his bros.
