She certainly knows her way around the fashion world, and now Jessica Simpson is offering up her designs in a different field.
Aside from her clothing and accessory lines, the ?Come On Over? singer recently released a range of special occasion and prom dresses for David?s Bridal.
The frocks will range in price from $139-$229 and feature a collection of silhouettes including short, slim, A-line and ballgown dresses.
In a statement, Ms Simpson said, ?Inspired by the fabulous designer gowns I?ve worn to red carpet events, my affordable collection is designed to fit and flatter a variety of body types and help girls achieve their own red carpet style for Prom.?

She?s always a treat to see on-screen, and Zooey Deschanel is set to star in an upcoming comedy on Fox.
According to Dead Line, the ?Elf? cutie has closed the deal on the untitled single-camera comedy pilot from writer/producer, Liz Meriwether, 20th TV and studio based Chernin Entertainment.
While in negotiations for the pilot, Deschanel was also considering a spot on NBC?s ?The Office? but decided to stick with the pilot.
The show, which was originally titled ?Chicks and Dicks,? is described as a young ensemble comedy about the sexual politics of men and women.

Of course she’s not raised to steal. Never mind about that little incident where Dina Lohan was abusing that special Carvel Ice Cream card to get free ice cream after being told repeatedly that it was only supposed to be used by the person named on the card. It’s not like she was stuffing ice cream in her purse, for God’s sake. They reserve those measures for necklaces. The Lohans have standards, dammit!

Christian Bale’s representative has dismissed suggestions that his behaviour following the Screen Actors Guild Awards caused tension with his wife.
This week, Star magazine reported that the actor, who is tipped for an Oscar for his role in The Fighter, has been “hitting the party scene”.
The publication also suggested that the star had received a “sharp rebuke” from Harvey Weinstein during his company’s SAGs after-party last month.
According to a source supposedly close to Bale and wife Sandra Blazic, his drinking “is straining his relationship”.
However, Bale’s representative told Gossip Cop: “[There is] no truth in the story in the Star,” adding that the actor was not present at the Weinstein event.
Heaven help the audience at the Academy Awards if he doesn’t win that Oscar. At the rate he’s going, he’s liable to strip down naked and charge the crowd with a chainsaw.
