Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds have an adorable Hollywood friendship. They met while filming X-Men Origins: Wolverine way back in 2009 and started a fake feud that?s provided some pretty fun moments for their fans. They?ve supported each other?s business ventures and are reportedly genuinely good friends IRL. This past summer, they also filmed Deadpool 3 together. As you all know, Jackman and his wife of 27 years, Deborra-lee Furness announced their separation last week. On Monday, Hugh and Ryan were seen taking a walk together in New York City.

The actors and close friends were spotted on a walk together in New York City on Monday. The pairs outing comes a few days after the X-Men star and wife Deborra-lee Jackman announced their amicable split following 27 years of marriage.
Jackman, 54, and Reynolds, 46, are soon set to reprise their Marvel characters Wolverine and Deadpool, respectively, in the upcoming Deadpool 3 movie, which was in the midst of filming before Hollywood actors went on strike in July.
We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,? they said. ?Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.?
The statement continued, Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives.
A day after announcing the news, Hugh was spotted on a walk in New York City without his wedding ring on. Although it was a mutual decision for the Aussie pair to separate, a source close to Hugh and Deborra-lee recently told PEOPLE that they are devastated and that the split is very hard for them.
It was not a snap decision ? they took a lot of time and consideration of everything, and they made this decision together, the insider said. They are going on separate journeys, but they will always be a family. They?ll always be co-parents and best friends.

I must admit that I always assumed their friendship was one of friendly coworkers who get along and joke around for free publicity, but it?s good to know that theyre friends on a deeper level. It?s always nice to see friends supporting one another during difficult personal times, especially when it?s two men who are breaking societal taboos by providing emotional support for each other and all. I?ve always liked Hugh and Deborra together and was one of those people who was shocked when they announced their split. I really hope that we don?t find out anything icky involving their divorce. I wish the Jackman family the best and hope Deborra and their children also have a good support structure around them.

Gisele Bundchen gave an exclusive interview to People Magazine this week. I think the point of it was her new sponsorship she?s the Wellness Ambassador for Gaia Herbs, so much of the conversation is about wellness and how she?s very centered and healthy one year after her divorce from Tom Brady. Gisele moved on quickly, probably because the divorce was her idea. She and Tom worked out everything very quickly and quietly with a private judge and Gisele has never looked back. She talks about that and more with People Magazine, plus she brags about her alcohol-free and caffeine-free lifestyle. I?ve been alcohol-free for many years, but I would truly die if I tried to go caffeine-free. Some highlights:
Homeschooling her kids for several years: With the pandemic, Bndchen transitioned to homeschooling her son Ben, 13, and daughter Vivian, 10, with ex-husband, retired football icon Tom Brady. She also dealt with uprooting the family to move to Tampa Bay, Fla., for Brady?s final seasons of football before settling down in Miami after finalizing their divorce last October. In the background, she was also privately dealing with two ailing parents. ?Its been very tough on my family. Its been a lot ? in every area of my life,? she says. ?I feel like whenever it rains, it pours. With all the different twists and turns that life takes, all we can do is the best we can given what happens in our surroundings.?
Giving up alcohol: ?Right after I turned 40, actually, I felt a huge difference between when I had the glass of wine and when I didnt have the glass of wine. Its socially accepted to have a glass of wine. And people even say, ?Oh, its healthy for you.? Well, it is not healthy for me. If you want to ask of your body what I ask of my body, which is a lot, I cant be having all these things (alcohol, caffeine) because they add up? I became more clear [after I stopped]. I felt a bit more foggy before. Now Im very sharp and very present and I notice things that I didnt notice before. When Im not drinking, Im sleeping much better. You have to be loving to yourself. You ask a lot of your body, you?ve got to do a reset. You have got to take care of this only vehicle you got, right??
The importance of self-care: ?No one is going to do it for you. The only person thats going to make those choices is you. Because ultimately, youre the first person whos going to be impacted by it. But then, its your children, its your husband, its your family. You got to put the oxygen mask on you first?. Its not a selfish thing. People have been teaching us that its selfish if you take care of you. How is that selfish? When you feel good, youre a better mom, youre a better friend, youre calmer, youre more patient, youre more loving, youre more grounded. So you cant feel guilty about prioritizing yourself. Because thats loving you and loving the people you love the most, which are going to be impacted by how well you are. Because if youre sick, everyones hurts.
Her kids are enrolled in school in Miami now: ?Theyre getting to know friends in school. They like it. It?s just all new. But theyre really liking it and theyre getting into their things,? Bndchen says. Vivi, 10, has joined the school swim team and Benny, 13, has been playing football for the first time. (He?s No. 12, just like his dad.) ?He just started. I just feel so proud of them. Theyre so loving. Theyre growing up to be just so thoughtful and considerate of others.?
Vivi is into horse jumping. ?Shes like, ?Mom, Im going to be a professional horseback rider.? Thats all she wants to do. When I was getting into it, people were like, ?Gisele, get out while you can.? I was like, ?I dont think I can get out. Shes obsessed.' Bndchen recently purchased a horse farm where Vivi can ride her horse, Item, in privacy, but she says she puts her foot down when her daughter asks for another. ?Now shes already trying to get other horses. shes already like, ?Mom. They told me I have to have a new horse to jump higher.? Im like, ?Youre 10, calm down.? Her horse jumps like a meter 20. ?Youre going to be fine.? I think its fine where youre jumping right now.? But shes so courageous.?

Vivienne begging her mom for a second horse after Gisele literally purchased a horse farm so Vivi can ride in peace? The rich really do not live like us. There?s a huge horse culture in Florida though, a whole competitive jumper/rider community where professionals train together and have affairs and such. Just ask Athina Onassis. As for the drinking thing she?s right about not feeling foggy, and once you stop drinking completely, you realize how often you?ve been operating with a lowkey hangover and how often your sleep cycles have been affected by alcohol. There?s a period of adjustment too, where you?re like ?wait, how am I supposed to get to sleep without a nightcap?? You?d be surprised by how quickly your body adjusts though.

Hayden Christensen used to get a lot of crap for his performance as Anakin Skywalker in the Star Wars prequels. I think he did his best with the material that he was given. Anakin comes off as a whiny, petulant brat a lot of the time and some of the dialogue that George Lucas wrote for him has become a punchline in the fandom. Whenever the occasion calls for it, Mr. Rosie and I actually still put on our best whiny voices and joke, ?It?s all Obi Wan?s fault! He?s holding me back!?
But, time has a way of changing our perspective and lending fondness that wasn?t there before. Unlike when Lucas digitally replaced Sebastian Shaw with Christensen at the end of Return of the Jedi, people were excited when Hayden Christensen popped up as Anakin/Darth Vader in ?Obi Wan.? I think the character in ?Star Wars: The Clone Wars?? being drawn to look like Christensen?s Anakin went a long way in conditioning viewers to finally accept him in the role, even though he did not voice the animated version. So when Christensen popped up to challenge Ahsoka in the World Between Worlds in episodes 4 and 5 of ?Ahsoka,? fans were beyond ecstatic. Turns out, Christensen is also happy to be back in the Jedi robes.
Disney is sharing a behind-the-scenes look at Christensens return. In a featurette recorded before the start of the SAG-AFTRA strike, Ahsoka series creator Dave Filoni explains why he wanted to resurrect the man who would become Darth Vader for a climactic conversation between Master and Padawan.
You know, as I was figuring out the story for Ahsoka, I just really thought, Well, theres an opportunity,' Filoni says in the video. I could bring Anakin and Ahsoka together. Its just awesome.
Off screen, Christensen and Dawson have a long history: Not only did they star together in 2003s Shattered Glass, but Dawson explains that theyve known each other for decades, bringing real-life emotion to their onscreen reunion. (The pair can be seen rehearsing and filming their big lightsaber battle, high-fiving afterward.)
I met Hayden when I was 16, Dawson says. We were in an acting school together over a summer. To have that kind of history with him, it really was like seeing my old friend.
Ahsoka isnt Christensens first time revisiting Anakin: The actor reunited with his prequel costar Ewan Mcgregor in last years Obi-Wan Kenobi, playing Vader and also appearing in a flashback as a younger Anakin. But Ahsoka might be his meatiest Star Wars role since 2005s Revenge of the Sith, following Anakin as he teaches his former Padawan one last lesson in the ethereal Force dimension known as the World Between Worlds.
Putting on the Anakin costume, getting to wear those Jedi robes, it kind of blows your mind every time, Christensen says. I just feel very grateful.

Like I said above, for most viewers, I think ?Clone Wars? saved the character of Anakin after the dismal treatment he was given in the prequels. I?ve seen Christensen in other movies, like his performance in Life As a House, and thought the blowback on his stiff acting wasn?t entirely fair. Its not like Natalie Portman turned in her best work, either. I?m glad the character was redeemed and that Hayden was game to come back to a fandom that didn?t receive him well 20 years ago. I?m almost as happy he returned as I was to see Ahmed Best (voice of Jar Jar Binks) finally get his redemption and due in ?The Mandalorian? last season. That dude had it even worse than HC did.

Months ago, when Danny Masterson was convicted of two counts of rape, sources insisted that his wife Bijou Phillips had no plans to leave him, and that she still supported him completely. Then Masterson was sentenced to 30 years in prison at his sentencing hearing two weeks ago. Once again, ?sources? were trotted out, swearing up and down to People Magazine that Bijou loves Masterson and ?has no plans to file for divorce.? Sh-t got real with the sentencing, that much is clear, but I didn?t expect the turnaround this quickly Bijou has filed for divorce.
Bijou Phillips has made the decision to end her marriage with Danny Masterson, less than two weeks after he got 30 years to life for rape.
According to legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Bijou filed to end things Monday in a California court. Her attorney, Peter A. Lauzon, tells TMZ, Ms. Phillips has decided to file for divorce from her husband during this unfortunate time. Her priority remains with her daughter.
He continues, This period has been unimaginably hard on the marriage and the family. Mr. Masterson was always present for Ms. Phillips during her most difficult times of her life. Ms. Phillips acknowledges that Mr. Masterson is a wonderful father to their daughter.
Bijou stood by Masterson throughout his rape trial and re-trial even accompanying him at his sentencing hearing.
Bijou Phillips lists the estranged couples date of separation as TBD in the legal docs, and says it was irreconcilable differences that led to the end of their marriage. She asks for spousal support, attorneys fees and that her legal name be restored to Bijou Phillips.

The elephant in the room which even TMZ does not want to address is Scientology and what CoS will do to Bijou now that she?s seeking a divorce. Like, it?s abundantly clear that CoS was ?protecting? Masterson even as he drugged and raped other Scientologists, not to mention drugging and raping women outside of CoS. They were still protecting him when his victims went to the LAPD and LA County DA?s office and charges were brought. Now that he?s going to prison, is CoS cutting their ties with him? I doubt it. Bijou needs to be so careful here.

It?s interesting to watch the evolution of this storyline in real time. For months, we?ve been told repeatedly that the Princess of Wales would join her husband in Singapore for the Earthshot Awards in November. It was supposed to be Kate?s big outing of the year, especially given that she hasn?t left the country on official business since last year?s Earthshot Awards in Boston. Then, over the summer, the Mail had that curious story about how Prince William is ?increasingly happy to go solo,? seen by many of us as William soft-launching his ?divorced dad? brand. Even in that story, sources insisted that Kate would go to Singapore though. Except it?s not happening. Camilla Tominey was the first to report that Kate would not join her peggy husband at this year?s Keenshot. Now the Mail is seemingly confirming it:
The Princess of Wales will not travel to South East Asia in November for the final of The Earthshot Prize, according to reports.
Despite previous speculation suggesting the contrary, Kate Middleton, 41, is not expected to accompany William, 41, to Singapore, the destination of the third annual awards ceremony for the Princes environmental prize, says the Telegraph.
Following the Wales decision not to undertake a foreign tour this year, Kates presence is not to be expected, it is believed, and so she will not attend the ceremony which is also set to feature performances by world-renowned musicians and artists.
No specific reason has been confirmed for why Kate is not expected to attend, but some have speculated that it may be due to her parenting duties.
It marks a change from last year, when Kate travelled to Boston for the ceremony.

These are the same people who spent weeks writing hundreds of stories analyzing the travel plans of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex this month, yet all we?re getting here is some terse, minimal statements in two publications, the Mail and the Telegraph? William has been on a briefing spree in the past fortnight ?Prince William Wants To Be A Global Statesman? so this is coming from Kensington Palace. In the same breath as all of his talk about being a revolutionary keen statesman who never puts a foot wrong, he?s also like ?yeah, I don?t want the Wiglet in Singapore.? And no one will speculate in the British media, no one will say ?hey, maybe there are significant issues in the Wales marriage.?
One positive for Kates absence is that at least Williams ass will be ungroped in Singapore.
