Making the most of her day off, Eva Longoria went house-hunting with her beau Ernesto Arguello in West Hollywood this afternoon (July 24).
Holding hands as they continued their search, the "Desperate Housewives" beauty rocked a black-and-white stripped dress covered with a white button-up.
Recently, the 38-year-old actress spoke about the importance of Latino education at the 2013 National Council La Raza (NCLR) in New Orleans.
Miss Longoria pointed out that although the college graduation rates for Latinos are high, they are not keeping up with the demographic changes.
Also discussing the research from the Urban Review that shows minority students dropping out because they don't feel supported, Eva commented, "I call it a push-out rate not a dropout rate."

Bruce Willis and Mary Louise Parker were being interviewed by Jamie Edwards for Magic 105.4 forRed 2. It was one of those cattle lines where actors will do 30 or however many interviews they can fit in a day.
On this day, Willis was annoyed by Edwards for some reason and he started giving him a hard time. A few may even describe him as being an asshole. Well, not a few. Most. The interview took a nosedive almost immediately. Right after Edwards reminded Parker that “the mic’s here.” That could be what set him off. Maybe he thought he was being snide when he was just completely nervous.
Right in the beginning, Edwards asks what their favorite place to film was. Willis replied, “Instanbul,” which confused Edwards for a second when he pointed out it wasn’t one of the locations in the movie. “At least it proves I’ve seen the movie,” he added.
That’s when Willis turned on his full hardass mode. “Has any actor ever told you this, Jamie? This part is not acting, what we’re doing right now. You might be, but we’re just selling the film now. Sales. The fun part was making the movie.” Oh, well excuse me, your majesty.
At one point, Bruce said he’d rather slash his hooves than promote this movie and was dreaming of driving away. Suffice to say, the interview went swimmingly.
This brings us back to last week when Mary Louise Parker said she was quitting acting because people were getting too mean to celebrities. Uh, gee, you don’t think stuff like this has anything to do with it?

Just take this as evidence that Prince Crumpets has blown every other gossip story out of the water and we?re struggling to find stuff to talk about. Ordinarily, I would have ignored these photos of Ellen Pompeo, who I have no strong feelings about either way, but I decided to write about them because her daughter is adorable and why not.
Her daughter, Stella Ivery, will turn 4 years old this September. She looks like such a happy little girl, doesn?t she? Just? joyful and adorable. Stella is mixed-race, obviously. Ellen?s husband is Chris Ivery, and they?ve been together since 2003, married since 2007. There are some rumors floating around that he has a wandering eye, but I?ve never seen anything verified and their marriage seems low-key and solid, I guess. Who knows? Stella really takes after her dad ? she looks so much like him!
As for Ellen?s weird dress? I guess she?s comfortable. It looks like she just wandered out of her house in a giant t-shirt, possible the t-shirt nightgown that she slept in, except she accessorized it like it?s a real dress.
PS? I don?t watch Grey?s Anatomy and never have, so I?m shocked to learn that it?s still on the air! How? Are people still watching it? Is it going to end after this season?

Michelle Williams is the newest face of Louis Vuitton handbags. Does this union make sense? Honestly, I don?t hate it, even though I don?t really associate Michelle with handbags or accessories or even the most sophisticated fashion. Her personal style seems ? at times ? comically girlish. More often than not, her style seems reminiscent of Mia Farrow in Rosemary?s Baby. But! Looking at these ads? it works. They styled her correctly. It feels lux and even edgy.
Continuing to add new elements to its advertising mix, Louis Vuitton has tapped actress Michelle Williams to appear in a campaign spotlighting two new handbags, the W and the Capucines.
The campaign is slated to break in Marie Claire France, due on newsstands on Aug. 2, followed by an array of September and October magazines worldwide.
Best known for her roles in ?Brokeback Mountain? and ?My Week With Marilyn,? Williams is currently filming ?Suite Franaise,? based on the novel by Irne Nmirovsky. Peter Lindbergh lensed the Vuitton spots, with hair by Sam McKnight, makeup by Stphane Marais and styling by Jacob K.
While handbags are the central focus ? the W, a graphic blend of monogram canvas and multicolored leather, the Capucines, a tote exalting Vuitton?s leather craftsmanship ? Williams wears looks from Vuitton?s fall collection by Marc Jacobs, and occasionally leans on a vintage trunk.

Meanwhile, have we talked about Michelle?s new boyfriend? She?s dating an artist named Dustin Yellin. This is her first relationship since she and Jason Segel split earlier this year. Lord, I have become a late-in-life Celine Dion convert. I used to get so annoyed with Celine and her schmaltzy personality, but I?ve grown to love her over the years. I had actually forgotten that Celine has twins now ? she gave birth to twins Nelson and Eddy in 2010, but we rarely see photos of them, and of course there is her oldest son, Rene-Charles, who is 12 years old now! Anyway, Celine has a new interview with Vegas Deluxe and it?s all about how she keeps her marriage, to Rene Angelil, so strong. Here?s a hint: he?s 71 years old! I mean, let?s be real. He?s super-old. That?s why their relationship ?works?.
Love is grand! Communication keeps love alive and well! Celine Dion and Rene Angelil have one of the most tender of love stories and longest of marriages in show business. Their relationship began 26 years ago, and they became engaged 22 years ago in 1991.
To this day, they still smooch, sometimes unabashedly in public with a peck on the cheek or a full-on lip lock. They still hold hands and wrap their arms around each other?s waists. In fact, it was a mutual love tap or gentle pat on their backsides that prompted me to ask Celine a question about her secrets to a happy marriage.

I saw Rachel Bilson at the To Do List premiere in this bright blue embroidered Oscar de la Renta and thought “maybe she’s pregnant.” I mean, she doesn’t look pregnant at all, but she looks like she might be trying to hide something under that dress. Then I looked up some of her recent photos, including some airport candids in which she’s sporting a new (temporary) neck tattoo with three stars. She’s been wearing loose clothing and recently talked about having kids with her longterm boyfriend, Hayden Christensen. It’s a working theory, but a weak one. She was just rocking a bikini three months ago and from many angles there’s no suspicion of a bump in this dress. Oh well, I would love to hear some pregnancy news about her.
Other than the full bodice peplum thing this is a cute, flattering dress and it suits her well. She looks adorable, but the cat eye makeup is a little too much. Some thinner eyeliner would have been prettier. I like that Rachel didn’t over accessorize and compete with the dress, but she could have worn some minimal earrings or a bracelet.
The To Do List is out this weekend and stars Aubrey Plaza of Parks and Recreation as an awkward teen trying to lose her virginity, step by step. (You might remember Plaza crashing Will Ferrell’s acceptance speech at the MTV Movie Awards.) The film is set in the early 90s and it looks goofy and predictable. There’s plenty of recognizable talent in it, including Bill Hader of SNL (his wife, Maggie Carey, wrote and directed this), Donald Glover from Community and Nashville’s Connie Britton.
Aubrey is in Calvin Klein. I’m not a fan of the structured bra thing at the top and think it fits her poorly, but that’s probably how this dress looks on everyone. Her shoes are a little too bridal matchy.
Rachel’s Hart of Dixie costar, Scott Porter, is also in this film. It took me all the way until the end of the trailer to realize who he was. He looks so different! Scott is hot on the small screen, but the newlywed is looking beat here. I think it’s his upswept hair and patchy, one-note beard. As Kaiser says, shave your neck!
Here’s the trailer. It’s all kind of meh to me, but I might see this on DVD just for nostalgia purposes. They got a lot of the fashion and hair right.

Here are some new photos of Jennifer Aniston (sans wiglet and avec wiglet) in New York City yesterday, either going to or coming from the set of Squirrels to the Nuts. I know I?ve spent some time shading Aniston for pulling that ?I love NYC!? bait-and-switch on Justin Theroux, but I?m actually starting to see her point. Since she?s started work on this film, she?s been pap?d on a daily basis ? the paparazzi must wait by her trailer, I guess ? and it?s not her fault. So, she?s sort of right about being able to be more ?private? in LA as opposed to NYC. Of course, there are plenty of celebrities who live and work in NYC without getting pap?d on a regular basis. But do any of them have super-sensitive nips? HM?!
Maybe that?s why the most recent reports have Justin finally relenting about where they should get married. If you remember, they postponed their wedding because Justin was still having issues with everything being all about Jennifer and what she wanted, and she wants to live full-time in California and she wants a California wedding. Well, sources claim Justin finally gave in and now they?ll pretty much live in LA (she bought and renovated an enormous mansion in Bel Air) and Justin is allegedly cool with a California wedding too. A source said:
?Jen has always made it clear LA was her first choice,? a source says. ?And Justin has compromised and agreed to marry in California. Justin?s reservations with LA are well known and he wanted to marry on the East Coast where his friends and much of his family is based, where he proposed to Jen and where he feels most comfortable.?

The source goes on to say that the current plan is to get have the wedding ceremony somewhere in LA and then do the reception at the renovated Bel Air mansion. I believe the renovation is still happening, although it?s probably in the final stages at this point. So maybe a fall or winter wedding in California? Why not.

The last time we checked in on Amanda Bynes, she showed up to a New York courtroom wearing a blue wig and gym clothes. That court appearance was about how she (allegedly!) threw a bong out of her window in front of a NYPD officer, and that case is still pending. That was two weeks ago. At some point, Amanda flew back to California and she?s still acting weird/crazy. So much so that she was put on a 5150 hold (also known as a ?psychiatric hold?) on Monday night after she set a fire in the driveway of a stranger. Oh, good. She?s a pyromaniac now.
Amanda Bynes is currently hospitalized on a 5150 hold … after starting a small fire in the driveway of some random person’s house Monday night, TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell us, the fire department responded to the home in Thousand Oaks, CA around 9pm — near where Amanda was just accused of trespassing — after someone noticed the small blaze in the driveway. The sheriff’s department was subsequently called when Amanda was found standing near the campfire.
When sheriff’s deputies arrived, they questioned Amanda about what she was doing, and why she was doing it — and based on her answers, they determined she needed to be hospitalized on a 5150 hold. Translation: her answers were really wacky.
A 5150 hold is an involuntary hospitalization for mental evaluation. Amanda can only be held for 72 hours though.
Britney Spears was famously taken in on a 5150 in 2008 during her pre-conservatorship period.
TMZ just spoke to the woman whose driveway Amanda built the fire on, and she tells us, she had no idea what was going on until cops knocked on her front door. She says cops asked her, “Do you know anyone by the name of Amanda Bynes, or why she would have some vendetta against you?” She said no … not surprising because the woman is elderly.
Cops then described to her that there was a young lady in her driveway, who had lit a fire and was carrying a “little red gas tank.” The homeowner says cops told her Amanda had burned part of her clothing.

Sounds about right. And by that I mean that absolutely none of this surprises me given Amanda?s behavior in the past year (and longer). The only thing that surprises me a little bit is that it?s the California justice system that is like, ?Hey, this chick needs some psychiatric help!? New York didn?t do that. Is it because Amanda?s antics weren?t all that out-there in New York?

Just the day before, the 38-year-old actress also spent the day with the pair, tweeting their adventures for her fans.
First, Eva wrote, "Why is it my mom always comes to LA and first thing is to see @MarioLopezExtra at the grove!!" Later, she shared an adorable photo of her little nephew holding an "Extra" microphone with the caption, "Watch out @MarioLopezExtra my nephew is taking over your job!!"

Nick Cannon talked to Toofab and revealed that Mariah Carey might have nerve damage in her arm after dislocating her shoulder while filming her new music video.
She?s doing a lot better, but she still doesn?t have movement in her right arm, there?s nerve damage. Her shoulder is definitely a lot better, back in place, but she also had some cracked ribs. She can?t move. The fact that she doesn?t have use of her right arm right now has been pretty tough on her, but the doctor said with a lot more rest and relaxation she?ll be fine.
I like how Nick puffs up her injury and then explains that as long as she rests, she’ll be fine. It went from “OMG, nerve damage! This sounds serious!,” too, “Eh, it’s just a few nerves, dude.” This guy blows more things out of proportion than a porn camera.
