The 41-year-old actor was joined by his father Donald Sutherland, as well as his friends from the hit show “24,” who came out to cheer on their co-star as he received the 2,377th star on the famed walkway.

T.R. Knight is itching to get out of his ?Grey?s Anatomy? contract, according to several sources. The reason, however, is up for debate. Some sources say it?s because he?s still upset over how long it took ?Grey?s? producer Shonda Rhimes to publicly chastise Isaiah Washington for his f-word slur against Knight. Others say it?s because his character?s story line sucks ? which is very true. He really doesn?t have a story line at this point. According to Entertainment Weekly, Rhimes is likely to let Knight out of his contract.
The revolving door at Grey’s Anatomy has taken another shocking spin. Multiple sources confirm that T.R. Knight has asked to be released from his contract, a request that both ABC and Grey’s show-runner Shonda Rhimes appear poised to grant. “They’re working out the details now,” whispers an ABC insider. (A network rep was unavailable for comment.)
There’s no word on when Knight would make his final appearance, but, contrary to a report on the gossip blog crazydaysandnights.com, he has not walked off the show. “He’s still working,” maintains my Grey’s mole.
Rumors of Knight’s unhappiness at Grey’s date back to the early days of Isaiahgate. Per an insider, the actor was disappointed that it took Rhimes so long to publicly condemn Washington’s use of the F-word, even as his co-stars (Katherine Heigl, Patrick Dempsey, etc.) rallied to his defense. (The incident led Knight to come out as a gay man.) The boss lady eventually released a statement denouncing Washington’s behavior, but word is, it was too little, too late. Nonetheless, my Grey’s source insists Knight does not want out of his contract for that reason, adding, “He just feels it’s time to move on.”
Knight’s probable exit comes at a time when his character, George, has been given little to do, save for express concern over Izzie’s mental state. There’s no word if he’ll be given a big on-screen send-off or be banished to Seattle Grace’s parking garage with fellow gay Dr. Hahn. (I smell a spin-off!)

The referenced report from website Crazy Days and Nights doesn?t sound like total bull to me. But it does sound like the kind of thing people would want to keep under wraps. They first reported that Knight had walked off the set, and then said he?s barely been participating in the show for most of the season.
So, I got a little more information from my source and they say, “He hasn’t attended table reads since episode 2. He is pissed and miserable and thinks his story line is stupid. He said goodbye to his hair and makeup people last week. He says he is done and has quit. ABC has not released him. Shondra Rhimes, the producer called him and he told her he had nothing to say. He has packed his dressing room.”

A rep for ABC has publicly denied that Knight’s leaving the show, but that doesn’t really seem believable at this point. I?m just as inclined to believe the version from Crazy Days and Nights as I am to believe Entertainment Weekly. Both of the stories agree that Knight hates his character?s story line. I can barely manage to watch his scenes because they?re so dull, so I can imagine it?s even more annoying to have to act them out. The writing really has suffered in the last few years - Katherine Heigl withdrew her Emmy nomination because of the lack of quality material she was given. It sounds like everyone is ready to part ways somewhat amicably, and hopefully before there?s any more of that quintessential ?Grey?s? off camera drama.

A while ago PETA said they weren?t going to go after Britney Spears for any of her PETA-perceived crimes against animals ? because she had enough problems in her life. And when PETA tells you they?re going to back off because you?re too crazy to handle them, then you know you?ve really hit rock bottom. But it appears that with Britney?s massive mental, physical, and career improvement comes the news that she?s doing well enough to be back on PETA?s attack list. I guess in a way that?s a sign of progress in her case.
PETA is pissed that Britney used elephants in her music video for ?Circus.? They compare Britney?s lifestyle of feeling caged to the pachyderm?s literal caging, and say Britney should be able to understand and empathize with the elephants.
Sadly, I still remember the first time I heard Britney Spears’ “Baby One More Time.” I was in the eighth grade and TRL was still wildly cool. My skinny, stirrup-tights-wearing, headgear sportin’ 13 year-old self just couldn’t get enough of the song. I remember thinking we had found a true pop princess.
But man, how quickly America’s sweetheart fell from grace. And it wasn’t pretty. Now, at the bottom of the barrel, she’s sporting elephants dressed in circus attire for her new video titled?what else?”Circus.”
As Britney is such a victim of the paparazzi and always complaining and crying about how she hates to be held up in her guarded house and can’t feel free, she of all people should be able to relate to the horror that captive animals go through when they’re used for entertainment. Except Britney chooses to perform, and the lifestyle just comes with it. Animals are ripped away from their mothers at a young age, kept in chains, and prodded with electric shock devices to make them perform. That doesn’t sound so voluntary to me.
Britney is now just an “outrageous” and “toxic” mess. I certainly don’t want her to “gimme more,” and neither do the animals who have been abused so that she can feel “lucky.” Well, we’re not takin’ this sitting down. I honestly don?t think much of anything is going to get Britney to take PETA seriously. She seems pretty good at ignoring things when she wants to, and no matter how much improvement she appears to have made, she still has much bigger issues to think about. I can?t help but wonder how many celebrity converts PETA gets through their tactics. If someone went after me with the same gusto PETA does, I?d be more inclined to dig in my heels and tell them to go to hell out of spite. They do seem to have toned down some of their tactics lately: in their published letters appear to try to use reason instead of the threat of paint throwing. But I still don?t think it?ll do any good in Britney?s case.

Once again the Grey's Anatomy spokepeople have lied to us. First they said that Isaiah Washington was not fired from the show, and then he was. Today comes word from Michael Ausiello that TR Knight is negotiating his out of the show even though ABC and Grey's Anatomy said the rumors of him not attending table reads were not true and walking of the show were not true.

Never did I think I?d say this, but Lindsay Lohan may actually have done something right. Though she?s not exactly known as the most professional actress in Hollywood, Lohan might actually turn out to be a good businesswoman. And possibly a good designer, depending on how hands-on she is with her new leggings line. Lohan?s pricey collection is selling incredibly well, surprising both fashionistas who say that leggings are over and regular folk who say they?re overpriced.
Lindsay Lohan’s got a leg up on the competition when it comes to her fashion line. While some style mags have heralded the end of the leggings trend, the “Mean Girls” star is trotting her 6126 footless tights all over the world. And she’s apparently doing something right. Despite a very hefty price tag in tough economic times, Lohan’s debut legwear line is selling like hotcakes, retailers tell the Daily News.
“They’re blowing off the shelves,” says Jill Lowe, publicist for high-end Hollywood boutique Intuition. The Marilyn Monroe-inspired leggings - which cost anywhere from $44 to $132 - are also flying out the doors at Henri Bendel, Nordstrom, Intermix and Lisa Kline. Across the board, stores say, Lohan’s best-seller is her Mr. President leggings - the most expensive and unique-looking option. Black with grey knee patches, the $132 tights are a big hit from coast to coast.
Many items from Lohan’s line are firmly in the $75 and up price point, with several costing more than $100; By comparison, popular legwear brands Danskin and Hue offer cotton/spandex leggings for a mere $25. “The leggings are made of top quality materials,” says 6126 publicist Ali Brubaker. “Many have accents like 100 percent leather patches and 100 cashmere leggings which also contribute to the price range.”

Lohan?s leggings come in 35 styles. I never knew there were 35 different things you could do with leggings, but I?ll take their word for it. They?re also dry clean only, which adds to the cost significantly. Lindsay is planning on rolling out four collections a year ? one per season. The long-term plan for 6126 is to eventually add more products to expand the line beyond leggings. Which seems like a good idea ? I highly doubt leggings are going to be as popular as they currently are for much longer.
It?s always hard to know just how much a role celebrities have in designing their products. I really doubt Lohan is at home sketching crocodile patch leggings all night long. But I?m guessing she does more than just throw some ideas out there and walk away. 6126 is obviously at the top of the line in terms of creativity and quality, and if Lohan has anything to do with that then good for her.

A few months ago Angelina Jolie said that her children watched the movie ?Shrek? and were confused as to why Shrek and Fiona were married but their own parents weren?t. She said she thinks at some point the kids will ask Brad and her to get married, since they?re already questioning their status. Brad was recently asked if that whole discussion made him feel some matrimonial pressure or changed his mind at all, and apparently it didn?t.
When Access? Maria Menounos asked Brad about reports that the animated film ?Shrek? had caused his kids to question why he was not married to Angelina, the actor had a good chuckle. ?You know more than I do,? Brad said with a laugh. Maria explained reports of an ogre-inspired marriage conversation that the Pitt-Jolie kids supposedly had with he and Angelina. ?Yeah, oh then, then it must be true,? he said smiling.
Maria pressed further asking if the kids had changed their stance on marriage. ?No, I mean, it?s something? the idea of it hasn?t helped or hindered us at this time,? Brad said. ?There may [be] a time when we feel it?s important.?
Brad, who donated $100K in the effort to defeat California?s anti-gay marriage initiative, Proposition 8, in September, said he still longs for marriage equality. ?I?m a believer that it should be [important],? Brad continued. ?It?s important for everyone and everyone should be able to.?

Something tells me the pair will eventually get married. Brad started off by saying no, but then opened up the possibility for it someday with the comment that, ?There may [be] a time when we feel it?s important.? So that was kind of a no and a yes answer. Combined with Angelina?s previous comment that, ?sooner or later it will be the kids who ask us [to get married,? it seems like they?re very gently laying the groundwork to more seriously considering the idea without coming out and directly saying so.

Thanks to falling for Alex Rodriguez, it seems like Madonna is never going to get another piece of good press again. To be fair, it?s not like she?s gotten much good press in a long, long time. But she?s coming off as more unlikeable than ever, and that?s really saying something.
Madge and A-Rod have been reported to be looking at new homes in Manhattan for quite awhile. Madonna wants to keep Alex close enough that she can have him whenever she wants, but not so close that they?re living together. She also has a bunch of other requirements, like a non-nosy doorman. But despite the way they?re shifting their lives around for each other, a source told the Daily News that the pair doesn?t have the deep, mystical, soul-stirring connection they want everyone to think they have.
Alex Rodriguez insists that he’s not moving in with Madonna - but a source says Her Madgesty is on a mission to find him a new home base just a stone’s throw from her own. “Before his divorce, Alex was searching for houses on the upper East Side and Madonna offered to help him,” an insider tells us. “She wanted Alex to have a big house that would be suitable for kids, and she didn’t want a building with a nosy doorman who would talk. Madonna wanted a place where they could go and be together without prying eyes.”
Added a pal of the slugger: “They don’t want to be in the same apartment, but they do want to be near one another.” In addition to Madonna’s apartment sleuthing, A-Rod’s friend says, “Both sides have sent their reps to look at places.” Regardless of all the house-hunting, A-Rod claims that he and Madonna are “just friends,” despite the fact that both were conveniently in Mexico City last weekend. Rodriguez says his time was focused on running a baseball clinic for kids, but one source has a slightly different view of the all-star’s relationship with the Queen of Pop.
“Alex and Madonna are very, very cozy,” the insider reveals. “Yes, they are intimate, and they are intoxicated with one another. Alex can’t get over that he’s with Madonna.” But the insider has some sage words of wisdom for Rodriguez: “This isn’t a deep and serious love affair. It will last as long as Madonna wants it to,” our leak predicts. “She could get five or six years out of it - but only if it’s in her best interest to keep him around.”

Well I think that sums up Madonna pretty well. She?ll be into Alex for a while and use him while it benefits her, but as to the long-term, there?s nothing substantial there. It sounds like Rodriguez has a bit of puppy love going on. Which is funny since he?s long been reported to be quite the player. Now it seems like he?s being played. Madonna ultimately needs someone who is more complex and will challenge her and stand up to her. Though she?s drawn to people that follow her commands, in the long run they?ll likely get tired of her, or she?ll tire of them. No matter what, it sounds like A-Rod and Madge shouldn?t be exchanging keys quite yet.

It’s been a good while since I’ve seen much about Jennifer Lopez. It only makes these pictures of Jennifer so much more wonderful. I dare you to think of something that you care about less than the following statement: Mariah Carey might really be pregnant. Science says it can’t be done! Page Six says
Spies in LA saw the songbird coming out of a well-known ob/gyn’s office “clutching what looked like a sonogram and being greeted by her entourage with cheers. She was ebullient.” It was the same type of paper that Minnie Driver was holding when she found out she was pregnant at the same doctor’s office. A rep said, “As far as I’m told it’s not true.”
I don’t know if I trust this “source.” Who among Mariah’s circle uses the word “ebullient” in everyday conversation? None of her former collaborators, that’s for sure. If they had said something like “Skeet skeet skeet biyatch” or “Aww, he supersoaked dat ho!” I might believe it. As it stands, though, I don’t buy it one bit.

Mary-Kate Olsen and Kirsten Dunst got into a fight last Wednesday in Miami, according to Page Six. Both were in town to attend the Art Basel convention, and were sitting together at a party. It?s not clear whether they were sitting by each other because they were friends or because someone sat them next to each other, but either way some sort of argument broke out between the two of them.
THE Art Basel convention in Miami has always been more about the parties than the art, but some revelers seem to be taking the concept to a whole new level.
Pint-sized Mary-Kate Olsen has cut a particularly wide swath through the town. On Wednesday night, Olsen and Kirsten Dunst got into a heated argument while sitting together at Audi’s party at the Delano in South Beach. “They just kind of stared at each other for a long time and then started exchanging nasty words,” says an onlooker. “Then Olsen just got up and left. She’s been going really late every night.” Olsen and her boyfriend, artist Nate Lowman, were also out until dawn with DJ Paul Sevigny at club Bella Rose the night before.
Says another partygoer at the Delano: “She looked like she had not brushed her hair in a week and she was chain-smoking the entire time and sitting like a sourpuss with her boyfriend. She was acting very oddly.”

I would really love to know what the nasty words were. I imagine Kirsten Dunst can throw out some low stuff. Just something about the look of her. These girls actually strike me as very similar. They both have odd fashion senses, look waifish, have gone to rehab, and are still known to really love their alcohol. The only significant difference is that Kirsten is about a foot taller.
In other Olsen news, Mary-Kate?s been fighting pregnancy rumors because she?s gained some much-needed weight recently. However it seems she put on a few pounds for some other reason, because she was seen downing quite a lot of alcohol during Art Basel.
TINY twin Mary-Kate Olsen is drowning the recent rumor that she is with child. The other night, Olsen and boyfriend Nate Lowman hit the Art Basel scene at the opening of The Station, an art exhibition in Miami that he helped curate. A spy told us Mary-Kate was smooching with her beau and smoking and drinking vodka cocktails all night, supporting her spokesperson’s recent announcement to Page Six that “there is absolutely no truth” to the rumor.

If you haven’t heard, Mark Ruffalo’s 39-year-old brother, Scott, a hairstylist, was shot a week ago in the head in his own apartment in Beverley Hills. Police suspect Shaha Mishaal Adham was the assailant but have not discussed a motive.
The AP reported today that Scott died late Monday night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA. Calls to Ruffalo’s publicist went unanswered.
Another suspect and friend of Adham, Brian Burton Scofield, was named a person of interest. Both Adham and Brian turned themselves in. Adham is being held on a murder warrant while Brian is being held on a misdemeanor traffic warrant.

In an effort to keep Britney Spears away from bad influences and focused on her comeback tour in support of her new CD “Circus,” her backup dancers will be required to submit to drug testing. We all know that Brit has a weakness for two things: backup dancers and drugs. I’m guessing that her dad, Jamie, is behind this rule - since he’s pretty much behind anything that keeps Britney in check.
Who knew that the first thing you would hear after being hired to dance for Britney Spears would be, “Fill this, please.”
A source tells E! News that, in an effort to keep the on-track pop star free from negative influences, her camp is requiring that all of her backup dancers submit to drug tests.
“They all had to be drug tested and, if they didn’t pass, they were fired,” the insider says.
“I think they only do it for her because she is under strict watch. I think they just want good influences around her,” the source adds, noting that drug testing is not common practice.
Considering Britney spends a hefty chunk of time with her fellow performers?and is going to be heading out on tour next year with a number of them?it’s understandable that those who look after the Circus star want to screen her stagemates ahead of time.
“It’s going to be a pretty big tour,” says Robert Baker, the studio director at Millennium Dance Complex in North Hollywood, where Spears frequently rehearses. “They’re going to have a three-ring circus with live animals, so it’s probably stricter liability.”
“I don’t think it’s a common practice, but each artist is different,” Baker tells E! News, referring to the drug-testing issue. “Everyone is just trying to safeguard against any foreseeable problems.”
A rep for Spears didn’t respond to requests for comment.

You know, it’s not a bad idea, but something tells me that if Brit wants drugs bad enough, she can find them someplace other than her backup dancers. I wonder if Jamie Spears will be accompanying his daughter on this tour? I can’t think of anything I’d rather not do than spend night after night watching my daughter half-naked, lip syncing to crappy music. But the only way this tour will be a success is if Brit has constant supervision. If you remember, her last tour, the Onyx Hotel, was when everything started to go wrong for Brit- she had a certain backup dancer delivered to her in Europe after meeting him in a club, and the rest…well, you know.

Divorced mom of one Kate Hudson, 29, says she doesn’t have a lot of experience dating and that she doesn’t have a list of things she’s looking for in a partner. She calls it egotistical to look for specific traits or characteristics in a partner and says she’s open to what comes her way:
Good news for the millions of men out there that wouldn?t mind dating Kate Hudson ? the stunning blonde has just one pre-requisite and that is leave your ego at the door.
“I?m not a judgmental person, if I had a checklist it would be dangerous and I would probably date nobody,” Hudson recently told Tarts. “I think that?s an egotistical approach and egos ruin relationships. You have to be open to everyone.”
Well, almost everyone ? there is one guy out there somewhere who didn?t get much of a chance to prove himself to the A-list actress?

Speaking of dates (or lack-there-of), Hudson also said she isn?t so skilled in that area and claims to have only dated three people (Owen Wilson, Dax Sheppard and Lance Armstrong) since divorcing rocker Chris Robinson in 2006.
“I got married so young, when I was only 21 and was married for seven years so I don?t know that much about the dating game. I?ve only dated three people in two-and-a-half years, the big transition for me after being married was actually living alone,” the “My Best Friend?s Girl” star said. “Now I love it but the transition of getting there was different and it was hard to settle into it.”
On the surface that sounds reasonable and like you want to keep your options open, but a lot of relationship books for women will tell you it’s a foolish way to conduct your love life. If you don’t know what you’re looking for how can you judge if a partner is right for you? You should have standards and some kind of guidelines for yourself. You wouldn’t just let anyone babysit your child - why would you let just anyone into your life in any kind of capacity? I understand being open to possibilities and the negative connotations of being demanding or having rigid requirements for a partner, but just going along with the flow and winging it makes it sound like you don’t think you deserve certain things.
A boyfriend can make you “feel” great and still be completely wrong for you. I have seen so many friends in this situation making excuses about how they love the jerk. Maybe Hudson is just trying to seem like she’s down to earth and is overstating how approachable she is.
Hudson also recently said “I don’t know if I’ll ever get married again… It depends on who you end up with.” If she was my friend I’d tell her to get her butt in gear and decide exactly what kind of man she wants instead of being vague about it and leaving it up to chance. She’s a gorgeous, successful woman who has the world at her feet and she’s still meekly saying she doesn’t have things she looks for in a partner.

You can tell that talk show queen Oprah Winfrey has lost some weight. She’s been making appearances at plenty of events this month and is said to be trying to shed pounds in time for Obama’s inauguration ball at the end of January. Now that Oprah is getting fit again and moving toward her goal she wants to share her struggles with her audience. She discusses it in the upcoming issue of O Magazine and is said to be planning a show which will cover her weight battle to air early next year:
As the media mogul, 54, writes in the January issue of her O magazine hitting newsstands Tuesday (and provided in advance to the Associated Press by Winfrey’s Harpo Productions): “I’m embarrassed ? I can’t believe that after all these years, all the things I know how to do, I’m still talking about my weight. I look at my thinner self and think, ‘How did I let this happen again?’ ”
For starters, the fact that her thyroid was out-of-balance gave her “a fear of working out,” she says. “I was so frustrated I started eating whatever I wanted ? and that’s never good.”
Having slimmed down to 160 in 2006, she admits, “Yes, you’re adding correctly. That means the dreaded 2-0-0…”
Choosing a gown for the Barack Obama inauguration coming up in January, however, made Winfrey realize her self-image was no longer jibed with the person standing on the scales ? though the real low point occurred last April.
“I felt like a fat cow,” Winfrey writes of the occasion when she sought to skip out on a Las Vegas show taping with Cher and Tina Turner. “I wanted to disappear.”
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Winfrey’s weight and height rank her as obese, with a body mass index of 31.8 ? putting her at “at higher risk for chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol,” says the CDC.
Winfrey intends to address the issue on The Oprah Winfrey Show, which will kick off “Best Life Week” Jan. 5.

If weight problems can affect one of the most wealthy, self assured and presumably self-actualized women in the world, a woman who many people consider an expert and look to for advice in all matters, then they can affect anyone. Oprah doesn’t even have kids to complicate things by adding stress and convincing her to stock the refrigerator with junk food. I’m not a fan of Oprah and generally consider her to be full of crap, but good for her for speaking out about this. She doesn’t have anything to be ashamed of. We all have issues and for some people one of them happens to be food.

Horrific news: actor Mark Ruffalo’s brother has died from injuries sustained by a gunshot wound to the head. Scott Ruffalo, 39, died late last night, just hours after the prime suspects in his shooting turned themselves in to police for questioning. He was mysteriously shot in the back of the head on Dec. 1 in front of his home, and has been in serious condition since.
Scott Ruffalo, the brother of actor Mark Ruffalo, died last night after suffering a gunshot wound last week.
Brian Scofield and Shaha Mishaal Adham turned themselves in to the Bev Hills PD yesterday. Adham was named a “suspect” and Scofield was named a”person of interest” in the shooting.

Police have been very tight-lipped in this case, particularly regarding any kind of motive for the shooting. All the police have said is that there was “suspicious activity” going on outside the home. That could mean just about anything. I’m sure that the stakes are even higher now that the victim has died. In any case, I’m sure the Ruffalo family is devastated. According to reports, Mark and his family have been spending every minute since the shooting by Scott’s bedside and were in total shock over the incident. This kind of violent ending to a loved one’s life certainly isn’t something you expect or plan for. Scott Ruffalo was a hairdresser and leaves behind his wife and a stepdaughter. Condolences to the family.

How did Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson ever get together long enough for a quickie, let alone a drive-by marriage? They both seem to despise the very essence of what the other stands for outside of their respective celebrity. Kid Rock, avid hunter and meat eater, is the polar opposite of over-the-top PETA representative Pamela Anderson. And now, maybe out of principle, and maybe just to piss off his ex even more, Kid Rock is declaring “war” on PETA and their disapproval of his beloved fur coats.
Kid Rock has hit out at animal rights advocates - insisting their campaigns will never stop him from wearing fur.
The All Summer Long hitmaker is known for his love of hunting and frequently wears lavish fur coats during his performances.
He tells Britain’s Mail on Sunday, “I want to go to war with Peta. My biggest extravagance is fur coats - I’ve got every kind of animal in my wardrobe.”
The rocker also slams Peta’s activism tactics - which have included throwing red paint on fur-wearing stars - and urges the group to try the same protest with him.
He adds: “I’m just willing the animal rights protesters to chuck some red paint on me. I understand people’s problems with it but to throw paint on someone is just wrong. They do it to little Hollywood actresses who can’t defend themselves.”

That is going to make one hell of a papparazzi payday. If Kid wills the activists into destroying one of his furs and he goes all Kid Rock on their asses the photos will end up splashed all over the internet and tabloids. Rock isn’t afraid of confrontation and he doesn’t seem to care about the repercussions, as evidenced by his VMA and Waffle House fights last year. He will certainly react differently thaLindsay Lohan did n when they threw flour on her.
I think Kid Rock looks ridiculous in his fur coats. There’s something about a man in fur that is very off putting to me, in more than the whole wearing dead animals way. The only guy fur ever looked appropriate on was Huggy Bear.

If only the rest of us had these kinds of disagreements. One of them befriends the household help, giving them gifts, including them in their life, chatting, even asking advice on things. The other thinks they’re employees, not friends, and believes it’s unprofessional to treat them otherwise. And both of them feel so strongly about their take on it that it causes the occasional argument.
They look like a happy family, but it’s not all hearts and flowers in the Jolie-Pitt household. A source close to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie says that they do argue?and the fights are usually over their household staff.
While Angelina treats her employees like friends, buying them presents and inviting them to dinner, Brad keeps his distance and reprimands Angelina for being so open. “Brad thinks Angelina is too generous with their employees,” says the source. “She gives them extravagant gifts and once had personalized T-shirts made for all of them to wear to a party.”
The family has a large team (including bodyguards and nannies) and the insider says Angelina often asks her employees for advice, on anything from what to wear to more serious matters regarding the children?which Brad thinks is totally inappropriate.

The icing on the bicker-cake is confidentiality agreements. Before Brad came along, Angelina was blase’ about her staff sign them, for whatever reason I’m sure will be speculated in depth. Brad, on the other hand is fiercely stringent about who they bring into their circle of help and requires rigorous and binding confidentiality contracts.
This story makes Angelina seem sweeter and Brad seem smarter to me. The bitch-on-wheels image many want to hold onto of Jolie sort of dissipates when you imagine her asking about baby-care advice with the professional nanny or laughing with a handyman about the best way to build a couch cushion fort. And the no-mind-of-his own image many want to hold of Pitt doesn’t exactly hold up when you picture him laying down the law when it comes to his family about safety and privacy, despite what his overly friendly significant other thinks.

Paula Abdul really has feelings, she doesn?t just play the sympathetic sidekick to Simon Cowell?s nastiness. Since the unfortunate death of fan Palua Goodspeed outside Paula’s home on November 12 the American Idol judge hasn?t returned to her home. She was away at the time of the suicide.
“I’ve been staying in different homes and hotels, and I have security with me,” she tells People.
“It was very tragic and very upsetting to hear,” Abdul says of the death of Paula Goodspeed, a fan who auditioned for American Idol’s fifth season. “She had tried to do this before, and it was just heartbreaking … It was in the middle of Hollywood week, and it happened while I was actually working at the Kodak Theatre, and it was devastating to hear.”
While producers were informed shortly after police discovered Goodspeed’s body, no one let Abdul know until after they had finished taping Idol for the day. “It wasn’t fun,” Abdul says.

Paula adds that her house will soon be on the market, and that she has been working on her cheerleading MTV special and new accessories line to distract her from the tragedy.
Paula adds that this wasn?t the first time that she has had to deal with an obsessed fan, and that in 1993 a jailed man was writing her letters saying he was going to “get my mom and I” when he was released. Upon release he threatened the President and was jailed “for life”.
Stalkers seem to be common, or at least getting more press, and it must be terrifying. Think of how you feel after someone breaks into your home or car, or when a mentally unstable person violates your personal space on the street. Then imagine living with that threat 24/7.

Fran Drescher is intending to enter politics, or at least that?s how it seems. While we mostly remember her as the whiny voiced nanny, she?s actually been working fairly tirelessly for new cancer legislation (which she was successful in getting passed by congress) for several years now, following her own bout of uterine cancer in 2000.
?I?ve just been given the appointment of U.S. diplomat,? she said at a party for Le Cirque: A Table in Heaven at that restaurant on December 3. ?My title is public diplomacy envoy for women?s health issues, and I just got back from a four-country European tour of duty. I believe next I?ll be sent to the Middle East.?
Also an anti-cancer activist, Drescher has been considering a run for office. ?I?ve been very successful in getting a bill passed in Washington,? she said. ?I was thinking I?d take the next four years to lay some groundwork, but I?m throwing my hat in the ring.? What else makes her a good candidate? ?I?m an authentic and honest person,? she said. ?And I think Capitol Hill needs more of that.?

Go for it, I say! If Arnold Swartzenegger can be governor of California, why can’t Fran Drescher enter politics?
The international trip she is referring to is to Hungary, Kosovo and Romania, which she writes about articulately on her blog on her Cancer Schmancer website.
The bills she has campaigned for include provisions for a gynecological cancer awareness campaign, funding for cancer research, better health coverage for breast cancer patients, and cancer education and screening programs.
Given that most of us know someone who has suffered from cancer, I think that Fran could find this a hugely successful platform to enter politics. Unlike Sarah Palin she’s already got the clothes - how fabulous does this woman look for 51?

Pink has said she is a firm believer in karma, and to prove it her favorite tattoo is the one that reads “What comes around goes around.”
Pink’s favorite tattoo was created by an artist friend in Philadelphia and reads “What goes around comes around.” As she explains it, “It’s my only truth that never changes. I believe in karma. I believe that it comes around in both ways. I’ve watched really good people have really hard times and then all of a sudden something beautiful happens. I’ve seen instant karma and I’ve seen karma that I think takes lifetimes and I’ve felt a lot of it.”

Pink is gloriously inked. She has Kanji characters, which she’s checked, double checked and triple checked to make sure the meanings were correct, that read “good luck and happiness”, “strength”, “the will to live” and “mother”. She also wears a tribute tattoo to her beloved bulldog, Elvis, who accidently drowned in a swimming pool. The only tattoos it sounds like Pink regrets are the Pink bows she has on the back of her thighs, which she says she got while she was drunk. I think they sound kind of cute, but “cute” just isn’t Pink’s style.
This is evident in her new cd, intentionally ironically named Funhouse. The album was inspired by the breakdown of her marriage to motorcross racer Carey Hart, so it’s full of anger, sadness, regret and a very strong will.
Pink’s hurt resonates throughout Funhouse, but her lyrics weren’t intended to slam Hart. “When I’m writing the songs it’s just where I’m at. What I’m doing, what I’m reading, what I’m thinking about. This one was different for me. I’ve not been here before in this way? These songs are like wounds? It was too easy to write. There is no edit button. Maybe there should be, but there isn’t with me.”
It’s hard not to look for traces of Hart in every track on Funhouse, such as “Mean” which Pink says is about how relationships change. “Every relationship, whether it ends or not, does that. How did we get so mean? How did I just say that to you? Let’s sit down and come to the love table and be friends again.” Elsewhere on Funhouse she digs deeper into where things went wrong and suggests that perhaps Hart wasn’t there for her enough when she needed him to be. “I don’t know that anyone will be able to give me what I think I need. And, I think I’m a much better friend than anything else,” Pink explains.
Some of the hints about Hart aren’t so subtle. In “So What,” the album’s first single, Pink calls Hart a “tool” and sings “I just lost my husband/I don’t know where he went” and later adds “You weren’t there/You never were.” In the video, she takes a chainsaw to a tree that their initials are carved into. But in a Pink twist, Hart shows up at the end of the video. “The whole world is like, oh she’s a fucking hypocrite, talking shit and I thought it was amicable. And it is, but that’s what I do. I talk shit. I talked shit to him for six years. I’m not going to stop now.”

Pink says that even though her music might suggest differently, she is still very much in love with Carey Hart and things between them aren’t resolved. The album was a way of dealing with something she didn’t want to happen, but for whatever reason had to happen. When I first heard “So What” I was surprised that there would be such public animosity coming from her about him. From what I saw of Hart on The Surreal Life he seems like a genuinely decent person and I just didn’t picture him as the “tool” type. When I saw the video to the song, and him in it, hugging her, playing it up with her, I realized, this was just an outlet for her, a way to find her way through losing her husband that she honestly wishes would have turned out differently. And he understands it, and it was moving to me. I’ve never put energy into wishing and hoping celebrity couples reconcile, but I’m breaking my rule on this one.

These tough economic times are getting harder and harder. Though it generally doesn?t hit celebrities as badly as the regular folk, they aren?t totally immune to the effects of the recession. American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino is about to lose her home. It?s in foreclosure and is going to be auctioned off on January 12th, according to Boogaloo.
…It looks like third season American Idol winner and 8-time Grammy nominated R&B singer Fantasia Barrino is about to get booted from one of her Charlotte, NC homes. According to recent reports and county records, big voiced Miss Barrino’s 6,232 square foot house has been foreclosed on and unless she can make good with a pile of cash will be auctioned to the highest bidder on January 12, 2009.
Property records show Miz Barrino purchased the 6 bedroom and 5.5 bathroom pond-front mansion on Bevington Place in March of 2007 for $1,300,000.
However, the children can rest easier knowing that it does not appear that Miz Barrino will go homeless as records show that she also owns a second house on nearby Seton House Lane that she purchased in July of 2004 for $740,000.

Boogaloo has an image of the bankruptcy papers, so the story is definitely legit. It?s sad, but few people have another house to fall back on, so it?s not like Fantasia?s going to be forced to move in with her family or anything. According to Wikipedia, Fantasia is going to be in the movie version of the musical version of ?The Color Purple.? She starred in the Broadway play after Oprah picked her for the part. So she?s got a project on the horizon. Hopefully this will be the end of her financial troubles.
