Showing some love to her Windy City fans, Kristin Cavallari showed up at Nordstrom on Michigan Avenue in Chicago on Saturday (October 18) for some promotional duties.
The ?Hills? star received a warm welcome from her loyal followers who waited patiently for her to show off her signature shoe collection from Chinese Laundry.
During her meet and greet, the gorgeous mother-of-two wore her own Cassie boot from the Kristin Cavallari by Chinese Laundry line and talked about her other fabulous footwear creations.
And of course, Kristin was more than happy to pose for photos and sign autographs for her fellow shoe seekers.

She?s not someone with whom to be trifled, and when Jada Pinkett Smith decided she wanted a role in the hit television show ?Gotham,? she went all out.
During her panel at PaleyFest over the weekend, the ?Collateral? cutie recalled her audition for the gig, when she met executive producer Danny Cannon for the first time.
?I said, ?Forget it, instead of talking about who Fish Mooney is, let me show you. I went method.?
As it turns out, ?method? meant that Jada wore a long gown with a wig and brought a shirtless man on a leash with ?Liar? written in lipstick across his forehead. And she got the part.

There?s all kinds of domestic bliss going on in Kristen Bell's household, and as she prepares to give birth to her second child with Dax Shepard, she?s back in craving mode.
The ?Veronica Mars? mommy told Us Weekly, "I just like food. If it can be digested, chances are I'll want it. Pretty much what I normally eat, which is fairly healthy, but I give in a lot more to cravings.?
?It occurs to me more often how delicious Kettle chips are when I'm pregnant. I give into my cravings more often because if I'm not going to do it now, when will I do it?"
Still, that doesn?t mean she?s ignoring her physical fitness- "I've been more active this pregnancy I think because I chase around a toddler. I really benefited from applying prenatal yoga.?
And it sounds like her daughter Lincoln can?t wait to get a baby sibling- "She's very interested in the shape of my belly. Very interested in offering it water and crackers and giving it smooches. She could just be mimicking what we're doing but I have a hunch she knows what's happening."

There have been plenty of rumors regarding Bethenny Frankel's decision to appear on ?The Real Housewives of New York City? again, and now it?s been made official.
According to E! News, the ?Bethenny? host is making a triumphant return to the Bravo series and everyone is thrilled.
Frankel told press, "I'm genuinely excited, with a side of slightly nervous, for my return to The Real Housewives of New York City. Bravo has always been the place on television where I have the freedom to be unfiltered, honest and inappropriate, with an audience who has been with me from the beginning. I can't wait to see what this next chapter brings for all of us. Watch what happens!"
Andy Cohen also weighed in- "Bethenny is one of the most popular Housewives in the history of the franchise, and I couldn't be more excited she is coming home to Bravo.?
Additionally, Carole Radziwill, Kristen Taekman, Heather Thomson, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer and LuAnn de Lesseps will be coming back as well!

Kristen Bell is pregnant with her second child with husband Dax Shephard. The couple already has daughter Lincoln, 18 months, and is expecting a second child. (I assume Kristen is due around Christmas because she announced in June.) In a new interview with People, Kristen talked about her easy pregnancy and about how her daughter, Lincoln, is a champ with sign language.
?[She can say] a lot of two-syllable words, but she signs mostly because she?s really good at it,? the actress told PEOPLE at This Party Saves Lives event hosted by her company, This Bar Saves Lives, on Thursday night.
She adds, ?People recommend doing signs because the baby can communicate with you and say, ?I want an apple? or ?Look at the black dog,? and you can actually form sentences.?
While Lincoln works on her signing skills, Bell, 34, and husband Dax Shepard, 39, are preparing for the upcoming arrival of their second child. The actress says her pregnancy has fortunately been a breeze ? just like her first.
?Thank my lucky stars, it?s been a virtually identical pregnancy,? she shares. ?Pregnancy can be really hard for women, and I?m lucky that I?m not really symptomatic. I?m okay with being on my feet and I?m lucky that my body feels really good.?
Her secret to a feel-good pregnancy? Yoga.
?I?ve found pre-natal yoga to be really unbelievably therapeutic,? she explains. ?The days that I do it ? even I find in my mental attitude ? I?m so much happier. All pregnancy really does is contract your body in these weird ways, so that?s one thing I?ve tried to commit to.?
And while she typically maintains a healthy lifestyle, the mom-to-be has been known to occasionally indulge in what she loves most: snacks.
?I suppose I give in to more cravings because I eat pretty healthy normally, but I?ll give into a lot more snack food and potato chips here and there because why not,? Bell says.
Fortunately, the family has found a fall favorite that has plenty of flavor without the added sugar.
?The whole family is really into organic honey crisp apples in the fall ? I know that sounds weirdly specific,? Bell shares. ?We try to stay away from sugar and when you haven?t had a ton of sugar in a while, having an organic honey crisp apple feels like you?re having a Snickers bar.?

I taught my son sign language and I remember him using basic signs for things back when he was about one. (That’s when he first “got it”) He would use the signs for simple things like bird, dog, eat or drink. It wasn’t a big deal and he didn’t graduate to full sentences, we encouraged him to speak more than sign. It can be great for a child’s development to learn how to sign.
Some commenters on People are trashing Kristen for trying to protect her daughter’s privacy on one hand (by not allowing paparazzi to photograph her) yet telling personal stories about her. I disagree that there’s disconnect between those two topics. Celebrities can talk about their children and not want them to be recognized. It makes sense that Kristen and Dax want to protect their daughter.
Also, that’s nice that she’s working with This Bar Saves Lives. It’s a snack company that donates a pack of food to children in the third world for every bar that’s purchased. I watched their concept video and it really got me.
Kaiser pointed me to this cute commercial for Samsung that Kristen did with Dax. It’s very cute and well done, but it doesn’t make me want a Samsung. I pretty much do the same thing daily with iPads.

I?m enjoying the fact that Beyonce is really trying to convince people that she really has bangs these days. Like, she heard that most of us were like ?Eh, give it a week and she?ll have a completely new hairstyle,? and she took that as a Bangs Challenge. These are photos of Beyonce, Jay-Z and Adele out to dinner at Harry?s Bar in London on Friday night. Adele wore her most comfortable poncho, leggings and flats. Meanwhile, Beyonce wore a peasant blouse and heels and that?s about it. I can?t tell if she has anything on under that very short blouse. She must, right? Like, booty shorts or something.
Beyonce and Adele have been friends/friendly for years now. Adele has gone to Beyonce?s shows in London and they occasionally meet up for dinner or drinks every so often. I?d like to think that Beyonce appreciates the fact that Adele is off doing her own thing and it?s not a competition. Adele is pretty funny too, and she seems like a fun person to party with. I can only imagine what Adele thought of the bangs.
In other Bey-news, Page Six says that Bey and Jay are getting all kinds of arty up in here.
After checking out Paris? Louvre, Jay Z and Beyonc headed to London to shop at the Frieze art fair. Jeanne Greenberg-Rohatyn of New York?s Salon 94 gallery was seen squiring the hip-hop royals around town, including a stop at the London outpost of New York gallery David Zwirner, where Jay and Bey were led on a private tour by artist Kerry James Marshall of his work.
They were also spotted at sculptor Anish Kapoor?s studio and gallery White Cube ? which sold a Damien Hirst shark at the fair for $6.5 million ? where they viewed works by David Hammons. During Frieze, which wrapped on Saturday, Greenberg-Rohatyn also hosted rapper A$AP Rocky, Brooklyn artist KAWS, auctioneer Simon de Pury and others for lunch aboard a barge.
The boat trip was the brainchild of Michle Lamy, the wife and muse of designer Rick Owens. Meanwhile, a 7-foot KAWS sculpture sold for $300,000 at Galerie Perrotin?s booth at the fair, where up to $2.2 billion in work was up for grabs. Salon 94?s booth had art with a smiley face theme.

I would love to know if Bey and Jay are buying and what they?re buying. We know they have more money than God at this point and I?d be interested in discovering if they, like, exclusively purchased modern art or whatever. Do they own any Banksy?

She?s an endless source of pop music magic, and Taylor Swift just unveiled her latest track from the forthcoming 1989 album.
The ?Shake It Off? songstress? new ditty is called ?Welcome to New York? and features plenty of 1980s synth and multi-layered vocals.
Swift explained, ?The first song on 1989 is a song called ?Welcome to New York? and I wanted to start the album with this song because New York has been an important landscape and location for the story of my life in the last couple of years.?
?You know, I dreamt about moving to New York. I obsessed over moving to New York and then I did it. The inspiration that I found in that city is kind of hard to describe and hard to compare to any other force of inspiration I?ve ever experienced in my life. It?s like an electric city and I approached moving there with such wide-eyed optimism and sort of saw it as a place of endless potential and possibilities. You can kind of hear that reflected in this music and in this first song especially. This is a song I did with Ryan Tedder called ?Welcome to New York.??

Did Kim Kardashian borrow Benedict Cumberbatch?s unfortunate jorts? OMG. Here are some photos of Kim and Kanye West out and about in Calabasas yesterday (they went to a movie). Kim?s outfit is horrendous from the front, but the back view is particularly? unsettling. I?m guessing that Kanye dressed her, just because this seems like the kind of outfit he enjoys on his Real Doll. We?ve actually seen this braless top on Kim before, so she?s recycling it for this outing. The jorts are? well, I can?t remember a time when I?ve seen Kim in jorts. She should never do this again.
Kim turns 34 years old tomorrow. I always forget her age for some reason, although people made a big deal about it back when she turned 30. I personally think she only married Kris Humphries because she wanted to be engaged/married by her 30th birthday and that was literally the only reason she went with Humphries. For this year?s birthday, Kim is going to have a huge party at the Venetian’s TAO nightclub in Las Vegas. TAO is always paying Kardashians to host parties, so I would imagine Kim is picking up a nice paycheck to host her birthday event there.
After the movie, Kim and Kanye went through the drive-thru of Taco Bell. Ew!!! Something about that outfit and the thought of Mexican food? ew.

I?m just writing about this Joaquin Phoenix photos because of the dog! I know you won?t mind. While I?ve known for a long time that Joaquin is an animal-rights activist, I didn?t know that he actually lived a quiet life in LA with at least one dog. Now that I?ve done some cursory research, I know he lives in LA with two dogs. One of them is this pit bull (or pit mix?) in these photos. The second dog looks like another pit or pit mix ? go here to see. This puppy looks sweet to me. I know some people have an aversion to pits because of the belief that pits are more violent or whatever, but I?ve always believed it?s more about the dog-owner than the dog. Joaquin?s pit looks like a good dog? except maybe he/she is a bolter. I know that alert-earred dog face. That?s a face that says ?take me off the leash, I want to chase after something!?
As for Joaquin?s future projects?the only thing he?s got coming out next year (so far) is that Woody Allen movie he did with Emma Stone. He also has Inherent Vice out this year, and some people think that the film is deserving of an Oscar campaign. Most of the reviews I?ve seen are more like ?it?s a weirdly brilliant and messy film and it won?t win anything? though. As for the persistant rumors about Joaquin and Doctor Strange, the rumors were revisited on Friday with a new article on The Wrap. The Wrap?s sources claimed that Marvel still wanted Phoenix and he was still in the mix, but Joaquin?s rep went to The Wrap and said the Marvel talks are ?dead dead dead. A couple of weeks ago they mutually decided to part ways. It was over before the New York Film Festival.? Yeah, Joaquin doesn’t want to be part of a Marvel franchise. At all.
