I know most of you don?t care. I don?t care about your apathy!! I love covering Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman. I?m fascinated by them. My theory is that Simon and Lauren?s affair (she was married at the time) blew up in Simon?s face when she got pregnant (accidentally/on purpose). Lauren came out publicly with her story through ?sources? and basically used the media to get Simon to drop everything and treat her like she was his one and only. Simon probably thought (correctly) that he would look like a major douchebag if he slammed her or treated Lauren like she was some disposable side-piece.
So, a half-assed fairytale romance was haphazardly pushed in the media. Simon helped Lauren through her quickie divorce (I believe Simon paid off Lauren?s ex-husband) and Simon and Lauren began holding hands and traveling together all over the world. Lauren?s older son was jettisoned so Lauren could focus on Simon and their baby, Eric. Lauren had edged out most of Simon?s harem too ? those women were no longer invited on yacht vacays and furry getaways. So all was well. But a leopard can?t change his spots.
It seems that Simon Cowell single-handedly supports the theory ?once a player, always a player.? Star has learned that Simon, 54, has grown tired of being committed to Lauren Silverman.
?Simon is bored with Lauren,? an insider reveals. ?He devotes all of his time to his son and The X Factor. He has no time for her.?
And Lauren is starting to notice. ?Simon has been incessantly flirting with a member of the X Factor production staff,? continues the friend. ?Lauren feels completely discarded by him.?
But the music mogul is determined to end things on a good note: Pals say he?s already searching for a house to buy Lauren as a breakup gift.
[From Star Magazine, print edition]
Sounds about right. Maybe this was even Simon?s plan all along. Stay with Lauren for a reasonable amount of time, give her a very generous exit package with a non-disclosure agreement and a good custody agreement and all will be well. Except I think Lauren actually had her heart set on becoming Mrs. Cowell. I?m not saying it was love, mind you. I?m just saying that she wants to be his only lady, now and forever.

Simon Cowell and his ?girlfriend? Lauren Silverman are vacationing in Saint-Tropez with their son Eric. If you haven?t seen photos of Eric Cowell recently, OMG he looks like his father. It?s like the Cowell genes are so strong that this baby just has Simon?s face completely. No DNA test necessary. To his credit, Simon seems to be very engaged with his son, which is a good sign, I guess. I never thought I?d see the day when Simon traded in his harem for nappies, but that?s where we are. And it?s fine. He seems happy.
Anyway, there are many photos of Simon?s furry moobs and Simon and Lauren frolicking on the beach. My eyes were assaulted, so I thought I would pay it forward. You are welcome!! Simon and Lauren have always given off this vibe of ?LOOK AT US, WE ARE SO HAPPY? which I always thought was just an immediate by-product of the shady way they got together. But Lauren is seeming increasingly useful to Simon, especially given the recent rash of ?gay rumors.?
I?ve said this before and you guys have yelled at me, but I really do think Lauren is beautiful. Most of Simon?s ladies are beautiful, granted, but I think Lauren has an especially pretty look about her. It wouldn?t surprise me at all if Simon and Lauren wanted to have another baby. Also: Lauren is really good at looking like she adores Simon, right? Get that money, girl.

| Simon Cowell reaffirms his heterosexuality after some dude claimed he was gay | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

At least one person (?) has been repeatedly commenting and tweeting me about this story. And I?m not really sure why. The story is super-complicated and it?s about Simon Cowell and his sexuality, which? most people don?t want to think about that much. So, here you go Person Who Repeatedly Commented ?I Can?t Believe You Aren?t Covering The Simon Cowell-Gay Story.? Without going too deep, there?s some kind of celebrity-tinged trial involving Tulisa Contostavlos, who is on The X Factor with Simon. Someone at the trial said (in open court) that Simon is gay and there are men who will verify that they?ve slept with Simon. Scandal! Or not so much. Simon?s people released a statement about it:
Simon Cowell has released a statement reminding everyone that he?s straight after it was suggested that he was gay in a recording played in a UK courtroom last week. In the taped conversation, fellow X-Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos?s personal assistant, Gareth Varey, tells a man identified as Mazher Mahmood that [Simon], 54, is gay, explaining that he knew because, ?I know people who have,? reports E! News.
?Simon was referred to during the trial without forewarning, resulting in widespread media coverage of untrue claims regarding his private life,? a statement from the television producer?s lawyers said. ?In 2014 the question of whether someone is or is not gay is antiquated. (As it happens he isn?t, though if he were, he would simply have said so).?
The statement went on to say that Cowell addressed the suggestion only because he takes his reputation as someone who is brutally honest very seriously.
?However, the issue was the false suggestion made by Mr. Varey that Simon?who is renowned for his honesty and candidness?had thus not been truthful in the public arena and this is what we have been obliged to clarify,? the statement added.
On Wednesday, Varey released a statement apologizing for the insinuation.
?At some point and utterly out of the blue Mahmood asked me if Simon Cowell was gay. I said he was,? he said in the statement. ?This is not true. I do not know why I said it, but assume it is because I was so drunk and felt that I was giving Mahmood the type of information he was seeking. I am very sorry for this.?
Once known as a notorious bachelor, Cowell has finally settled down with Lauren Silverman, who gave birth to the television personality?s first child, Eric, in February. The couple recently purchased a $10 million luxury apartment on the Upper East Side.
[From Page Six]
So, that?s the story. Here?s what I think: Simon is telling the truth. If he was gay, he would be gay. He would sleep with men. He would have a harem of men, openly and honestly. But he?s straight. He has a harem of women, ex-girlfriends and ex-fiances mostly. He?s so straight, he had a torrid affair with a friend?s wife and got her pregnant, then paid off the husband to clean up his mess. That?s pretty hetero, you know? Anyway, I think Simon?s statement was pretty much as good as it gets. Simon doesn?t have an issue with homosexuality or gay people. He?s just a heterosexual man. (Plus, I seriously doubt the gay men want him. He?s a mess.)

Here are some photos of Simon Cowell and his girlfriend (are we calling her that?) Lauren Silverman in Miami over the weekend. These photos make me uncomfortable. I mean, Lauren and Simon were on a public beach and they were practically posing for happy family photos for the paparazzi, so it?s fair game. But it makes me uncomfortable because I feel like Lauren would probably prefer to be at home with the baby and not feel like she has to pose for nonstop photos when she?s only recently given birth.
Obviously, Simon and Lauren don?t have any problems with the baby getting photographed though. And even Simon?s dogs are in on it. Those dogs are pretty photogenic, I have to admit. However, I could have done without Lauren laying on top of Simon?s furry moobs. Girl, we get it! You ?got? him. For now. I feel like sitting her down and explaining the rules of the Cowell Harem to her. First rule of the harem: the furry moobs are shared.
Simon?s publicist recently explained to People Mag why Simon named his son after his father. Simon was famously very close to his dad Eric Cowell, and Simon ?is striving for is to build the same relationship over the years. It’s the whole family thing ? he got a tremendous amount of comfort from the relationship he had with his mum and dad. They were very, very close.”

| Simon Cowell & Lauren Silverman welcomed son Eric Cowell on V-Day | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Simon Cowell?s furry cleavage gives me life. MOOB REALNESS.
Anyway, Simon Cowell is finally somebody?s father. Simon?s newly divorced girlfriend Lauren Silverman gave birth to the Cowell heir, a boy (quite right), on Valentine?s Day. Simon and Lauren did not name their boy ?Simon Junior? as widely reported on V-Day. They named him Eric, after Simon?s late father (Simon?s father Eric passed away in 1999).
What a happy Valentine’s day! Simon Cowell and girlfriend Lauren Silverman welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Eric, on Feb. 14 in New York City, Us Weekly can confirm. His rep tells Us the baby was born at 5:45 p.m. EST and weighed in at 6 pounds, 7 ounces. A source close says the couple named the child Eric, after Cowell’s father. The little bundle of joy is the British X Factor judge’s first, and Silverman’s second. She and ex-husband Andrew Silverman — whom she divorced in August 2013 — have a 7-year-old son, Adam.
Us exclusively broke the news of the New York City socialite’s pregnancy back in July. She and Cowell were initially reluctant to talk about their baby joy in public, as Silverman was still married at the time — to Cowell’s friend, no less — but he opened up a few weeks later, telling Us he was “happy and excited” to become a father.
Later, in an October interview with Parade magazine, he spoke more about what he was looking forward to as a dad-to-be. “I’m not brilliant with babies,” the acerbic TV personality confessed.
“I never know what to do. But [once he's older] I think I’ll be a good dad in terms of advice. And then I’ll get to do all the things I want to do, like go to Disneyland or Universal Studios, teach him how to drive — I love all that.”
His approach to parenting, he said in a different interview with Extra’s Terri Seymour (his ex-girlfriend), would be something like his father’s. “Be cool about it. You know, don’t worry about things too much,” he explained. “The way me and my brother were brought up, I mean, it was kind of relaxed. There were no self-help books or any of that crazy stuff.”
“I want to teach him how to do my job as quickly as possible,” joked Cowell, whose production company, Syco, launched The X Factor and America’s Got Talent, among other shows. “I want to pass the reins over. I really would like the idea of teaching him how to run the business.”
[From Us Weekly]
My feeling ? with regards to Simon and Lauren?s relationship ? is that Simon is already over it. Lauren had grand plans (some would say ?designs?) to become Mrs. Simon Cowell and travel the world with him, keeping his wandering dong on lockdown and shutting down his ?harem? of current and ex-girlfriends. My feeling is that Simon would be fine with just adding Lauren to his existing harem, but since more eyes are on his peculiar relationship patterns these days, he had to put some effort into making this thing look like a genuine love affair, like he and Lauren were really together and that they had some future together. When in reality, Simon has already bought her a nice apartment in NYC and he?s already moved back to London and he?ll come to visit sometimes and that will nice. Ten bucks says that?s how the relationship will play out ? Lauren will be his NYC girl and he?ll visit but she will never be Mrs. Cowell. PS… Simon just announced that Eric’s middle name is Philip.
Here are some photos of Simon (in mom jeans) on Saturday, visiting Lauren and baby Eric at the hospital.

| Simon Cowell announces 'return to the UK' as 'The X-Factor' USA gets cancelled | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are some photos of Simon Cowell on Friday in England. Why does he look so happy? That?s what I was asking myself. On Friday, Fox finally cancelled The X-Factor? well, the American version. The UK?s X-Factor is still going strong and I believe it?s one of the biggest hit shows in the UK. But Americans didn?t care for our version of it, which also starred Simon Cowell (he executive produced and created it as well). Simon and Fox threw crazy money at the American version, trying to get it to work, trying to buy their way into an audience, but the ratings kept falling.
The X Factor has been crossed off Fox?s schedule. The network is canceling the singing-competition series after three seasons of declining ratings. The news comes the same day judge and executive producer Simon Cowell announced he would return to the UK version of the show.
Cowell, Fox entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly and FremantleMedia North America president of entertainment Trish Kinane released statements pinning the decision on Cowell deciding to return to the UK series. But Fox had an option to renew X Factor and debated for months whether to bring it back. For a while, Fox considered renewing the series for a fourth round with fewer hours per week, mirroring a production-tightening move that ABC?s Dancing with the Stars made this fall. The recent season of Factor averaged 7.1 million viewers and a mere 2.3 rating among adults 18-49 on Wednesday nights, including seven days of DVR playback.
?I?ve had a fantastic time over the last 12 years, both on The X Factor and American Idol,? said Cowell in a statement. ?And apart from being lucky enough to find some amazing talent on the shows, I have always had an incredible welcome from the American public (most of the time!). Last year, for a number of reasons, I had to make a decision to return to the U.K. version of The X Factor in 2014. So for now, I?m back to the U.K. and I want to thank Fox for being an incredible partner and I also want to thank everybody who has supported my shows. America, I?ll see you soon!?
Reilly added: ?To all of us at Fox, Simon is more than one of the most prolific TV personalities of our time ?he?s part of our family. A consummate showman and partner, there?s no one more passionate or creative than Simon, and we feel so fortunate to have enjoyed such a wonderful, collaborative relationship with him over the past 12 years. Unfortunately, there is no X Factor without Simon Cowell, but we understand and support his decision to focus on the international formats and on the next phase of his personal life. We wish him the very best, and it?s our sincere hope that we work together again soon.?
From the start, X Factor struggled to make a positive impression on U.S. viewers compared to overseas editions. It came across as more cartoonish and manipulative than Idol, with a revolving door of celebrity judges that never seemed to truly connect with both each other and viewers. The show particularly suffered by comparison to NBC?s rival start-up hit The Voice, which started airing a fall edition last season and charmed viewers with its warmly engaging panel of ?coaches.? Factor was also blamed by some observers ? fair or not ? for hastening Idol?s ratings decline, since it added to the glut of singing competition shows.
[From Entertainment Weekly]
My interpretation ? and I?m saying this as someone who doesn?t enjoy singing competitions ? is that the audience never showed up for The X-Factor because the personalities weren?t strong enough. I mean, Britney Spears was a big name and all, but she was robotic and not very comfortable with the format. Demi Lovato? Blah. The audience needed powerful personalities that they could either get behind or flat-out hate.
Also: so Simon is now spending most of his time in London? That?s what it sounds like, right? What about Lauren Silverman and her plans to live with Simon full-time and all of that? I think Simon bought her an apartment in NYC and now she?ll be his New York lady. But he has London ladies and LA ladies, and on and on.
Anyway, I keep forgetting that this is prime TV-show-cancelling season. I hope Fox doesn?t cut The Mindy Project. Please, DO NOT.

Making the most of their tropical getaway, Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman went for a stroll on the beach in Bridgetown, Barbados on Tuesday (December 31).
The ?X Factor? hunk and his pregnant girlfriend were all smiles as they soaked in the sun with Simon showing off his hairy chest while Lauren covered her baby bump with a zebra print bathing suit.
Silverman is said to be due in February and rumor has it that Cowell is planning a marriage proposal before she gives birth to their son.
An insider told press, ?It?s not a matter of if, it?s when [will he propose]. Are you kidding? She couldn?t be happier.?

The problem is never that I cannot picture Simon Cowell in sexual situations. The problem is that as soon as I see a photo of him, my dirty mind immediately begins to picture his hairy moobs glistening with sweat and massage oil, bouncing rhythmically as he groans to completion. YOU ARE WELCOME. This is what I live with. That is the image I deal with every time I write about Simon Cowell. I don?t know what?s wrong with me (but I?m absolutely positive there IS something wrong with me). And imagine this ? what if you were Lauren Silverman and you had been boning him undercover for years? What if you were actually intent on having those bouncing moobs on you for the rest of your life? Gross, right? I mean, what?s wrong with HER?
Anyway, these are new photos of Lauren and Simon at The Ivy over the weekend. She?s still pregnant and I can feel Simon?s interest in her waning by the minute ? he just seems like that kind of guy. Still, Simon can?t dump her yet. That would look horrible. So he has to play along and act like this is the best thing ever:
Their secret affair was uncovered when Us Weekly revealed news of her pregnancy, but now Simon Cowell says ?life is fantastic? with girlfriend Lauren Silverman.
?Even with all the drama, this year has been incredible,? Simon says. ?I said to Lauren last night, ?I can?t believe how much has happened.? I never thought I?d be a father.?
And their collaboration extends to the recording studio, adds Simon: ?She brilliant because she gets what my job is and has a great ear. So when I?m choosing a single, I send her tracks and we agree. You have to work with your partner.?
[From Us Weekly, print edition]
Yes, I?m sure she?s ?brilliant? at music producing. Lord, do we really have to pretend that this is a normal relationship? The thing is that Simon and Lauren have known each other for years and they?ve been sleeping with each other for years ? how is it possible that they still have new stuff to learn about each other?
Oh, and it?s not like Simon has called it quits with any of the ladies in his harem either ? he just celebrated his birthday with his exes (and no Lauren).

Ever since Simon Cowell?s baby-mama scandal broke a month ago, I can?t stop thinking about Simon in sexual situations. Like, I?m sitting here, writing up a Simon story and for a moment my mind wanders and it?s like my subconscious is like, ?Hahaha, you?ll love this image? here?s a visualization of Simon?s O-Face.? Anyway, that?s what I?m trying to stop thinking whenever I look at photos of Simon and Lauren Silverman and all of their happy-couple photo-ops. Simon?s moob fur glistening with sweat, his waxy Botox-face contorted. HELP ME.
Anyway, a few days ago, Simon announced that he had just seen the sonogram and now we know that Simon and Lauren are expecting a boy. The Moob Dauphin. The Hair Heir. Simon Junior.
Looks like Simon Cowell is going to have a little mini-me! The X Factor judge and his pregnant girlfriend, New York City socialite Lauren Silverman, are expecting a baby boy, a source confirms to Us Weekly. (The New York Daily News was first to report the gender.)
“They’ve known for a while!” one insider tells Us of the news that they’re having a son.
As noted earlier on Sept. 3, the first-time dad-to-be actually got a glimpse of his little bundle of joy via a recent sonogram. “You literally see this thing which is now alive moving around,” the normally tough-talking Brit gushed to the Times of London on Sept. 2, one month after Us Weekly broke the news of Silverman’s pregnancy.
“I feel very paternal right now. So I am very happy,” he said. He added, though, that he wouldn’t let fatherhood change him too much. “I can assure you: I won’t go soft,” the former American Idol judge quipped.
Cowell and Silverman began their relationship in secret while she was still married to Cowell’s friend Andrew Silverman. The estranged spouses settled their divorce a few weeks ago, on Aug. 14; together they have a son, 7-year-old Adam.
Cowell was understandably reluctant to talk about Silverman’s pregnancy at first, but now that everything’s out in the open, he’s increasingly speaking out about his thoughts on fatherhood. “I am good with kids because I like kids,” he told the BBC. “I really do like them and I listen to them. Once I got used to [the idea of becoming a father] I did get excited. I think I will be a good dad!”
A rep for Cowell did not respond to requests for comment.
[From Us Weekly]
Will Simon be a good father? Doubtful. The Moob Dauphin will have all of life?s luxuries, for sure, but Simon won?t be around enough to be much of a father. Especially since in the same round of interviews, Simon declared: “I can assure you: I won’t go soft.” And he?s definitely not going to change diapers: “I’m not doing that, 100% absolutely not going near that!” And when he was told that babies often stay up all night and that he might be sleep deprived for a while, he said: “Can’t I just get a nanny?” Modern fatherhood.

| Simon Cowell, One Direction at the 'This Is Us' premiere: who would you rather' | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are some photos from last night?s UK premiere of This Is Us, otherwise known as ?the One Direction movie that every tween, teen and 20-something girl is going to see a million times.? I kind of want to see it too, even though I?m not Twihardy about 1D. I just like rockumentaries and accents. Anyway, Simon Cowell, who I guess ?created? 1D, came back from his holiday to attend the premiere. Does anyone else think that part of Simon?s holiday was spent having a little nip and tuck? I do. Simon actually answered a few questions about this whole baby-daddy situation too:
Simon Cowell has no qualms about becoming a first-time father. The X Factor judge, 53, addressed his situation for the first time on Tuesday, telling the BBC, “I’m proud to be a dad.”
Cowell ? fathering a child with Lauren Silverman, who wasn’t separated at the time from now-estranged husband Andrew Silverman ? went on to say, “It’s something I hadn’t thought of before, but now I know I feel good about it.”
Keeping his distance from the mother of his unborn child until her divorce drama calms down, Cowell calls Lauren “a very special girl.”
Adds Cowell, “Things are changing in my life right now for the better.”
His positive comments follow an interview in 2009, when he said, “God, no, I couldn’t have children. If I had them here drawing on the walls I’d go nuts. You’ve got to be up at a certain time. Got to listen when all you want to do is sit in a corner thinking.”
But he had a change of heart last year, explaining, “I do really, really like kids, because I can talk to them and listen to them. The problem has always been how much time you need to devote to bringing up kids and I’ve always dedicated all my life to work, and at 52, I’ve probably missed the opportunity.”
[From People]
I?ve heard rumors that Lauren Silverman took only half of her prenup (about $2 million when she could have gotten $4 million) because Simon has promised to buy her a condo and a lot of extra stuff. I?ve also heard that Simon paid off Andrew Silverman to settle the divorce quickly. We might never know what really went down, but I think it?s a good bet that Simon and Lauren will never marry, don?t you?
Which doesn?t matter because ONE DIRECTION HARRY STYLES ZAYN NIALL LOUIS LIAM OMG. Seriously, Harry?s hair is wrong. These poor children.
