Making her way around the city, Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted out and about in the Big Apple yesterday (September 20).
The always-stylish "I Don't Know How She Does It" star looked polished as she ventured through SoHo, pairing a cropped Pink jacket with gray wash skinny jeans and a blue handbag.
Obviously needing the midday walk to get away from it all, the uber-busy mother of three has opened up about dealing with the stresses of her demanding schedule, telling People, ?I talk to myself. Constantly. Both my baby-sitter and I talk to ourselves, and we?re constantly apologizing for it.?
Miss Parker notes that, while life can get rather hectic, females are wired to handle their never-ending duties, as she explains ?Frankly, I think women are accustomed to doing a lot. We can talk on the phone and tie a shoe and pack a lunch and change a diaper.?
And despite how crazy her things may seem, SJP says she really doesn't have it too bad, telling, "There are millions and millions of women in this country that do it far better than I do with far less resources and far less support.?

Taking her beloved pooch to get some pampering, Ashley Tisdale was spotted dropping off her dog Maui at L.A. Mutt grooming in Toluca Lake, CA on Wednesday (September 21).
The ?Hellcats? hottie looked darling in workout wear as she handed over her pup to a canine beautifier before continuing about with her day.
Aside from doting on Maui, Miss Tisdale recently spoke to the Wall Street Journal about her upcoming reality show on Bravo, ?Miss Advised,? which revolves around three single female relationship experts who are looking for ?The One.?
Of the effort, Ashley said, ?Reality shows are my guilty pleasure. For me it?s about finding the right script, the right writers, the right comedy but I very much want it to be a comedy.?

Apparently crew members can’t go around slapping the asses of celebrities anymore. Damn you, zero tolerance sexual harassment policies!
TMZ reports a crew member on Charlie’s Angels was fired after slapping Minka Kelly on the butt like a cheap stripper. Rumor has it that he was holding a hundie when he did it and that Minka slapped him back.
Sources explain it didn’t happen exactly like that. They say the man did slap Minka on the ass but she responded by telling him, “Please don’t ever disrespect me or any other woman like that again.” A calm, cool, collected, but overall disappointing response. A swift kick to the nuts would have been better.
Witnesses told the bosses at ABC and the guy was immediately banned from the set and fired. Oddly enough, Minka didn’t want to get the guy canned and had nothing to do with the decision. She was friendly with the guy and upset that he lost his job after moving his family to town for it. ABC sources say the guy was a serial ass slapper and had done it to other women.
This goes to show how nice Minka Kelly is. Some guy slaps her ass and she doesn’t even want him fired. A stern lecture would have been enough. Until today, I didn’t know it was possible to be more in love with Minka. But here I am, scribbling hearts around her name in my Trapper Keeper.

Hayden Panettiere hasn’t starred in anything of note since Heroes ended. Scream 4 was probably her biggest movie so far and she was barely in it. She did gain a little notoriety for dating heavyweight boxer Wladimir Klitschko though but she broke up with him so that’s over.
Hopefully Hayden’s star will rise again when casting agents see her new spread in Interview magazine where she shows off her versatility as an actress. See? She can be slutty AND modest at the same time. Someone give this girl a job. Or a sex tape. I’m fine with either.

“We want to do a musical together,” Murphy told me at the Emmys. “An original?I want to write an original movie for Gwyneth and Maya Rudolph, both of whom I’m great friends with.”

Last week’s In Touch reported that Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock had sort-of moved in together, which I believe is possible. At least Ryan was said to have moved some things into Sandra’s Austin home and to be living with her in both L.A. and Austin “until he figures out a permanent situation.” They seem like they’re getting serious, or at least Sandra is, and they’ve been seen out together several times. We’ve heard rumors that they’re talking about adopting a baby, and now Star is reporting that they’re already planning to marry. I think that both of them are gun shy after their failed marriages, and I doubt this is even partially true. Here’s Hollywood Life’s report:
Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock are ready to take their relationship to the next level and get married, according to Star magazine!
Star reports that during their Wyoming vacation, Ryan brought up the subject of marriage.
?Ryan told her he was ready to tie the knot whenever she wants,? a source told the magazine. ?And after seeing how quickly she?s bonded with baby Louis, she decided she?s ready to pull the trigger, too. So they started discussing the logistics of pulling off a low-key, barefoot wedding that would reflect their laid-back lifestyle.?
The wedding will be small with only 25 guests, Sandra?s son Louis will be the best man the pair will feed the party with BBQ from Sandra?s favorite restaurant in Austin.

Yeah, Sandra had a horrible experience with her last marriage and Ryan is loving being single. I can see him being ready for a commitment, maybe, but not being ready to walk down the aisle again.
All of this sounds a little ridiculous when you consider that Ryan was just spotted out in New York over the weekend with none other than serial dater and his co-star whose boobs he loved to grab, Olivia Wilde. They looked annoyed to be papped together, and their reps claim they’re just friends and don’t have a relationship. Sure, just like Sandra and Ryan are “just friends.” It could be the case, though. Either way, this wedding story is bunk, but you know that I would freaking love for it to be true. My brain has been addled by way too many romcoms.

A “Charlie’s Angels” crew member was fired last month after “inappropriately touching” actress Minka Kelly’s ass on set of the show. Girls can be so uppity that way. The Daily Mail says:
The member of the crew is believed to have approached the 31-year-old and slapped her across her bottom while clutching a $100 bill in his hand on August 23.
An set insider [said], ‘It seems like it was meant to be a joke, but clearly it was inappropriate. Minka was shocked and absolutely irate. She was still fuming about it hours later.’
When the crew member tried to apologize to Minka the next day, she slapped him across the face.
He was then removed from the production by TV executives the following day.
That sounds like a hundred dollar dare that didn’t go so well. He should be thankful that all he got was bitch-slap and a Pink slip, not Derek Jeter with a knife or a bunch of cops and an assault charge on his record. I’ve said it so many times, but you gotta be careful about who you grope on a dare, people. Otherwise I wouldn’t have devoted a whole chapter to it in my new book, “Sexual Battery for the Soul.”

Beautiful mind AND body! Stepping out at Tuesday’s “Every Woman, Every Child” for Save the Children benefit at NYC’s Grand Hyatt Hotel, Jennifer Connelly walked her first red carpet since giving birth to daughter Agnes Lark Bettany May 31.
The stunning Oscar-winning actress, 40, wasn’t shy to reveal a bit of her post-baby weight loss in a black sheer top (with a black bra underneath) tucked into flattering, pleated black pants.
Connelly told Us Weekly she felt compelled to step out for the benefit, which supports a cause near and dear to her heart. “I gave birth to my daughter Agnes three and a half months ago, like many women, I gave birth to her at home,” the Dilemma star told Us.
(Agnes was born via schedule home water birth at the NYC apartment she shares with husband Paul Bettany.)
“But unlike many women around the world, my birth was attended by a skilled midwife,” she continued. “I’m very excited to be here to support Save the Children and to support mothers around the world that don’t have access to health care.”
Agnes joins big brothers Kai, 13 (his dad is Connelly’s photographer ex David Dugan) and 7-year-old Stellan, Connelly’s son with The Tourist star Bettany, 40, whom Connelly wed in 2003.

This is a disturbing story. According to Star Magazine/Radar, Minka Kelly got a crew member fired on the set of the Charlie?s Angels reboot. A source tells Star that a crew member came up behind Minka, slapped her ass and held up a $100 bill. Minka was irate, as you could imagine, and she fumed for a day. When the dude tried to apologize the next day, Minka slapped him, and then I guess producers stepped in and the guy was fired??
The reboot of iconic ?70s show Charlie?s Angels has been rocked by an incident of sexual harassment, Star magazine is exclusively reporting.
A crew member was fired from the Miami production after he inappropriately touched Minka Kelly, who plays street racer Angel Eve French on the show, which premieres this Thursday on ABC.
The staffer came up behind the 31-year-old actress and slapped her across the rear end while holding a $100 bill in his hand on August 23, an insider tells Star.
?It seems like it was meant to be a joke, but clearly it was inappropriate. Minka was shocked and absolutely irate,? the on-set source reveals. ?She was still fuming about it hours later.?
When the crew member tried to apologize to Minka the next day, the ex-girlfriend of Yankees star Derek Jeter slapped him in the face. Television executives had him removed from the production the next day, Star has learned.
?The whole set was buzzing about the incident,? the source dishes. ?It was quite a scandal. One day he was there, and the next he was gone.?
The axed worker ? whom Star has declined to identify ? confirmed there was an incident when contacted but refused to elaborate further, beyond insisting: ?It was just a misunderstanding.?
Reps for Minka and the production company behind the remake of the show declined to comment on the scandal.

A few things? one, why wasn?t the dude fired immediately after he slapped Minka?s ass and treated her like a hooker? Two, was the $100 bill a really tacky reference to Minka?s late mother, who was a stripper and presumably lived on tips? Three, I don?t like the idea of Minka slapping the dude when he was trying to apologize, but maybe she thought she had to fend for herself if the guy was still there after sexually harassing her. And four, God knows if this is really what went down.

A few years ago, in the early days of Gwyneth Paltrow?s GOOP newsletter (what halcyon days those were), Dame Goop deigned to name-drop, as she often does. Except that the name she dropped made everybody do a big ?WTF?? Goop made reference to Billy Joel?s then-wife, Katie Lee Joel, and mentioned Billy in passing, writing, ?The summer before last, a mutual friend brought the lovely Katie Lee Joel and her husband William over for dinner. Much to my delight, she brought a fresh batch of these cookies with her. I adore the contrast of the dark chocolate and the cherries — heaven.” William Joel. Because Dame Goop thinks it?s gauche and peasanty to refer to someone as their nickname or stage name or the name they prefer to be called. At the time, Billy Joel?s rep basically said that no one ever calls him William and that Goop is an idiot (I?m paraphrasing).
Anyway, yesterday Lenny Kravtiz tweeted this photo (below) with the message, ?The only person in the world that calls me Leonard.? You guessed it.
Is the point that Gwyneth simply is too elegant and classy to exist in our modern world, what with the abundance of tacky ?nicknames?? Probably. I think there?s another point, though: that Gwyneth is super-cool. She?s so cool that she hangs out with Leonard Kravitz and William Joel and Beyonce Knowles and Christopher Martin. She?s so super-cool that not only does she hang out with all of these super-cool people (who all think she is amazing, did she mention that?), she also tries to teach these super-cool people some old-fashioned class, like calling people by their proper, Christian names.
Also: I wonder if she refers to her exes as William Bradley Pitt and Benjamin Geza Affleck? Does she always call her husband Chris, or Christopher?

These are some new photos of Sarah Jessica Parker, out and about in NYC yesterday. I hate to admit it, but I really think her outfit is cute. I couldn?t pull this off, but it looks good on a petite little woman like SJP. The jeans, the heels, and especially the hot Pink cropped jacket? it all works on her. Usually, SJP?s casual, out-in-NY outfits aren?t this cute, but I think she might be pouring herself into fashion after the commercial and critical failure of I Don?t Know How She Does It. She promoted that film for weeks internationally, she became the face of the ensemble film, and so she?s getting the bulk of the blame for its failure. Part of me feels bad for her, genuinely, because I think she tries and it would be nice to see her succeed. Another part of me thinks that if she?s going to be hellbent on convincing everyone that she?s a movie star who can carry her own film vehicles, she needs to work on finding better scripts.
SJP was recently talking about failure to Stylist, saying that she finds personal criticism “distasteful” and “vulgar”: “I’m criticized all the time. I’m not even circumspect about it. The idea of it all is very painful because I think, ‘How can they make assumptions about me that are so untrue?’. Proper film or theatre criticism is part of what I do; I don’t read them but I don’t begrudge a critic an opinion. But personal criticism I find distasteful. We think it’s funny to be mean and women say awful things about other women and use terrible language and call each other awful names. It’s so uncivilized and vulgar; it’s not good for our souls.”
Part of me agrees with her about the difference between personal criticism and legit film critiques. But the problem is bigger than people just being mean to SJP - her biggest problem at this point is that people no longer give a crap about her, or they are actively annoyed/filled with hatred when they see her on-screen or read one of her interviews. I?ve said it before: I would like SJP a lot more if she stopped talking. I would also like SJP a lot more if she stopped trying to be a big movie star. Her best career move was doing television - she?s a stellar television actress, especially when she has a great ensemble around her.

Charlize Theron and Leighton Meester were the two big celebrity ?gets? at last night?s ?HTC Serves Up NYC Product Launch? event. Charlize looks really weird to me, but I think I?m just being thrown off by the full skirt and the lack of high heels. Allegedly, the green dress is Chloe? and I don?t like it much. Charlize is famous for her amazing legs, so why is she wearing a full-skirted dress that makes her legs look like little toothpicks? The cut and the style is not flattering. That being said, I love the color on her.
Meanwhile, Leighton wore Leighton wore a dress from the Marios Schwab Resort 2012 Collection and Burberry shoes. Um? the outfit is fine, it?s kind of boring, but meh. BUT THE SHOES. Dear God. Those look like some 1970s craft project, all wood beads and bad colors. And don?t get me started on the bangs.
Getting back to Charlize for a moment - have you seen her latest Dior commercial? It?s the one where Dior puts Charlize in the same company as Marilyn Monroe, Marlene Dietrich and Grace Kelly. WTF?

While injuries curtailed Anna's career as a top ten tennis player in the world, she says her relentless years of training for the sport prepared her for her latest gig.
"My mom really instilled the commitment and discipline in me. It's really helped me throughout life and that's why I'm so passionate about sports and fitness and promoting that healthy lifestyle, and spreading the world especially to kids," Miss Kournikova told the hosts.
She added, "You can learn so much through sports. It teaches you all these amazing skills you can use in life, not just while you're playing sports."

The "Drive" hunk and his "Spider-Man" actress co-star were in full costume while running through scenes shot at Griffith Observatory - during which time Gosling wrapped his arm around Stone as the pair walked along with an English Bulldog by their side.

Due out in 2013, "Gangster Squad" boasts an illustrious cast along with Ryan and Emma including Sean Penn, Josh Brolin, Nick Nolte, Giovanni Ribisi, Michael Pena and Josh Pence.

As for the event itself, the Brazil Foundation gala dinner worked to spotlight how "Brazil's economic growth and international prominence must walk hand in hand with the responsibility of its use of natural resources and for the development of its people," according to the soiree's website.
This year's gathering brought together more than 500 people from business, media, academic and diplomatic communities of Brazil, the United States and Europe.

Making sure to tend to her duties as a responsible pet owner, Kate Bosworth spent the day getting her dog Lila medical care in West Hollywood, CA on Tuesday (September 20).
The "Superman Returns" actress slowly exited the TLC Pet Medical Centers facility as her pooch pal gingerly eased alongside her with a bandage wrapped around one of its front paws.
The vet visit comes just after Miss Bosworth's latest film "Straw Dogs" was released to theaters in the States this past Friday - with Kate having chatted with "Chelsea Lately" about a rape scene she had to enact for the project.
The 28-year-old told, "It was nerve-racking because obviously, this was a remake of the [director Sam] Peckinpah original - everyone talks about the infamous rape scene. I didn't think too much about it, to be honest, until about three days before and it was blocked out for two days. It was the type of experience that I just wanted to be present in and not think too much about."
Shot with now ex-beau/co-star Alexander Skarsgard playing the rapist, Kate further explained the difficult shoot to BlackBook, saying, "I told Alex not to worry about me, to just go for it. I said, I need you to lose yourself in this moment. And it was actually violent. He's a huge guy. When he was ripping off my clothes in front of a room filled with men, even though I knew it was make-believe, it was still incredibly violating and terrifying. The panic you see flooding me in that rape scene is real."

One thing women love is getting advice from their ex-boyfriend’s current girlfriend. It just warms their hearts.
E!, trying to instigate, asked Stacy if she had any advice for the current contestants on this season’s Dancing With the Stars, one of which is Elisabetta Canalis.
“You can’t stop thinking about the dance,” she told me at the Appleton Estate Reserve bartender challenge last night. “When you’re sleeping, when you’re cooking, when you are doing whatever you are doing. I think it is important that you put all that hard work into it and when you go out there, you just have to let it go and have so much fun and really try to entertain the crowd and just have a great time.”
You hear that Elisabetta Canalis? George Clooney’s current flavor of the month says you have to focus. Unlike what you did during your relationship with George where you went out and swore in interviews that you’d eventually be married. Maybe if you had your eyes on the prize, you wouldn’t be fading into obscurity and wouldn’t have had a dismal opening performance on the show.
Hopefully I’ve fanned the flames enough to where I can just sit back and watch the cat fight. Muahahahaha.
