Gwyneth Paltrow posted some photos and video from her garden party launch of several Goop-branded products over the weekend. She?s not only launching GOOPGENES, her skincare line, but she?s also got a new ?season? of her G. Label Dress Collection. Blythe Danner and Apple Martin were at the party and they were all wearing G. Label dresses, I assume. Gwyneth only posted the photos which were most flattering? of her. Also, in the video? I don?t think she wanted Apple to be on camera very much even though Apple did want to be on-camera. Interesting mother-daughter dynamic! Apple is gorgeous.
Meanwhile, did you know that Gwyneth Paltrow wasn?t simply the first person to ever get a divorce, she was also the first person to ever remarry in her 40s?
Gwyneth Paltrow is counting her lucky stars to have found love again after her divorce from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. The Academy Award-winning actress, who admits her amicable split from Martin in 2014 after a decade of marriage was hard to swallow, had thought she might never experience another special romance in her lifetime.
It was great to fall in love again at a mature age. It was a wonderful surprise and I didnt necessarily think that it would happen for me and I got very, very, very lucky ? very lucky, the Goop businesswoman, 47, recently revealed to Heat! Magazine. With some careful thought and introspection, the mother of two confessed she learned some life lessons when she fell in love again after turning 40.
So Im very, very grateful and I think when it happens to you when youre a bit older in life you place a value and an importance on it that you dont do when youre in your 20s because you dont know the difference at that age.
I?m very much the marrying kind. I love being a wife. I love making a home, the Shakespeare In Love star revealed about her personality. Paltrow and Martin have remained friendly and have made it a priority to put their children first as co-parents. In fact, over time, theyve had blended family outings with Falchuks two children and Martins girlfriend, actress Dakota Johnson.
It?s been amazing, she proudly professed. I dont think I would define myself as a trendsetter. but I suppose if I look back at everything Ive said and done I guess I am in a certain way.

I wouldn?t call myself a trendsetter but other people call me that and I am. I wouldn?t say I invented yoga but I invented yoga. I didn?t really invent divorce but when I got a divorce, it was the biggest and most important thing to ever happen and I did, in fact, invent it.
As for the Brad Falchuk stuff? it?s still amazing to me that Gwyneth was allowed to completely whitewash her affair with Falchuk and the fact that their affair ended both of their marriages. It even seems like his kids fking hate her. That was what all of the ?Brad and Gwyneth don?t live together? stuff was about his kids didn?t want to move in with their stepmother.

Back in May, we heard that Selena Gomez was one of the unusual picks to get her own quarantine cooking show. The idea, as we were told, is that Selena loves food but doesn?t know her way around a kitchen, so a bunch of accomplished chefs were going to educate her over Zoom and we?d see the results in real time. Well, now it?s here and we can see just what all the yelling is about:
I?m still not totally sure what I?m supposed to expect. According to the blurb under the trailer, it says Selena is learning to cook, so this is the rudimentary basics of cooking? I guess that could be helpful since it looks like quarantine will never end, but the trailer doesn?t talk technique or ingredients at all. The review in Variety gives a little more information, claiming this show, with all its imperfections on display, is the perfect commentary on 2020.
Admitting to how much one doesn?t know, in an era bent on proving our incompetence, is humbling enough for most of us. But it seems especially difficult for celebrities.
Which makes ?Selena + Chef,? a new HBO Max series, the second of its type in this period, seem like a proportional, frank, and real response to the moment, as well as the second to be truly about living in 2020 without addressing the terrors of the present head-on. Here, the celebrity-profile aspect is intact, as the singer and actress Selena Gomez comes to learn to prepare various dishes with the help of a different pro chef, teleconferenced in for the occasion, each episode.
Gomez is treated with a sort of careful gentleness by her tutors, who urge her on through the preparation of genuinely complicated dishes with tones of soft, loving ministration. These are chefs who?ve been through the fire of restaurant kitchens and bring as little of that competition as they can to their engagement with their new charge. It?s a brief that fits some chefs more comfortably than others: Gomez?s first episode, in which she admits to not having used her kitchen yet before just bringing an omelette over the finish line and undercooking souffls, sees her mentor coaching her, by the end, in slightly more clipped tones than those with which he?d begun.
Not merely is Gomez forcing herself through a challenging mission, learning to cook, she?s also doing so while learning to show us aspects of herself she?d resisted giving up thus far. For anyone who?s found layers of self-protection stripped away during the COVID era, it?s the mere fact of this, more than any one disclosure, that seems like a powerful statement by a uniquely guarded star. And it?s that act ? marshalling her power as a public figure by being willing to come down to our level ? which may be the skill, learned in isolation and practiced over weeks, that ends up serving her more than cooking for one ever could.

If you combine the review and the trailer, this sounds more like a Selena Gomez reality show. Variety likened this to Amy Schumer?s cooking show with her husband Chris Fischer (which the reviewer also likes). The main difference is that Amy and Chris obviously have an affectionate relationship that Amy can lean on whereas the chefs coaching Selena, all of whom came up in professional kitchens, are not letting her off the hook as easily. That could be either interesting or induce PTSD for those of us who?ve worked with high-level chefs in restaurants. However, it sounds like Selena is not asking them to go easy on her, that she signed up to be vulnerable and that?s what she?s giving us. Variety also mentioned the other people in the kitchen with Selena are her grandparents and roommates who provide a good balance between Selena the person and Selena the star.
The show sounds sweet. But is doesn?t sound like a cooking show. To be fair, it?s called Selena + Chef, not Learn to Cook with Selena. I like her, and I?ll probably give this a shot to see exactly what it is. But I don?t need a show that perfectly exemplifies 2020. Every hobby/task/endeavor I undertake is an attempt to escape this year, not embrace it.

Cara Delevingne turned 28 on Wednesday, which she used to promote ocean clean up. Like all popular supermodels, everyone who?s anyone in nepotistic fashion wished her many happy returns. Among them were her very good friends and potential Lockdown Roomies, Margaret and Rainey Qualley and Kaia Gerber. Since Cara and Ashley Benson spilt back in April, Cara has been leaning hard on her friends, particularly Kaia, who attended the LA protests with her and shared the cardigan Taylor Swift sent them (the header photo). Apparently, they have become matching tattoo close. Not just any matching tattoos, but clever play on words matching tattoos.

Delevingne rang in her 28th birthday on Wednesday, and her friend and fellow supermodel Kaia Gerber wished her a happy day on Instagram ? revealing they have matching tattoos on their feet.
Happy birthday to my solemate @caradelevingne, Gerber, 18, wrote atop a photo of the friends hugging feet.
Sharing several more photos of the Carnival Row actress, Gerber shared some more tributes, writing, the only person who wears my face on a sweatshirt, and the best protest buddy, and atop a video of the duo dancing, coolest guys at the function.
Included in the photos was a snapshot of the models feet, showing tattoos of the word solemate along each womans arch of her foot.

I actually thought they were dating, which I?ll admit made me slightly uncomfortable given that Kaia is just 18. But in reading for this post, I don?t see that they have ever said that so perhaps theyre just friends. They do have a lot in common as theyre both models and they come from money. As far as getting matching tattoos, they?re cute and work independent of each other so I?m for it. There?s more chance of your friend relationship working out so it?s a safer bet to sync up friend tattoos. Then again, Cara and Ashley Benson got matching tattoos too.
I have to admit, I am far more curious about Margaret Qualley and Kaia Gerbers friendship. Like, did Pete Davidson introduce them or did they seek each other out as some kind of Pete Davidson?s Ex Support Group? Now that?s the IG story I want to see posted.

Hand to God, just yesterday I was looking at this Entertainment Tonight story about Miley Cyrus and how it was the one-year anniversary of her split with Liam Hemsworth. ET made it sound like Miley was happy as a clam with Cody Simpson, who she began dating ten months ago. Well? they lasted longer than I expected, so I?ll give them that. But yeah, no one saw it lasting. And so Miley?s people blitzed the gossip outlets last night with news of her latest breakup:
Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson have officially called it quits on their relationship TMZ has learned. Sources close to the former couple tell us they split within the last few weeks, and its unclear right now what led to the breakup.
Miley and Cody started dating in October 2019, shortly after Mileys split from Kaitlynn Carter which followed her divorce from Liam Hemsworth.
Instantly, the two were constantly posting pics together all over both of their social media pages. Some of their greatest hits include flirty birthday posts and some fun TikTok dance vids.
It was also Cody who took care of Miley in November of last year when she underwent vocal cord surgery and in March, they got matching tattoos.

I glanced through People Magazine and Page Six?s coverage and no one has any tea about why the split happened, just that it happened a few weeks ago and OH BY THE WAY Miley released her new single and music video last night. So I?m sort of wondering if she broke up with Cody to promote her music? It wouldn?t surprise me at all. That being said, I do feel sorry for Cody. Dude thought it was lasting love. They moved in together too, I bet she?s making him move out of the place they shared.
