Back out for another day’s work, Blake Lively on location at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City for the filming of “Gossip Girl” on Thursday (August 6).
Toting her pet puppy in her arms, the Serena van der Woodsen actress looked in a cheerful mood as she prepped for the day’s workload.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, Miss Tyra Banks also was on-hand for the day’s filming, making her first appearance as a guest star.
New episodes of the CW hit show are scheduled to begin Monday September 14th at 9pm EST so get ready for plenty of drama-filled action.

Showing off her lovely smile, LeAnn Rimes went to Kreation restaurant this morning for some breakfast in Brentwood.
In a seemingly good mood as she passed by paparazzi, the country singer looked comfy in a navy blue dress and belt.
Yesterday, Rimes went shopping in Malibu while she posed for pictures with fans, not wearing her wedding ring. Husband Dean Sheremet and the country star have been reported that they split last month, just a week after LeAnn spoke about broken hearts and ending relationships at her concert in Utah.
The singer will perform at Grand Strand Freedom Fest on September 11 where Freestyle Music Park is helping sponsor the patriotic music festival that is hoping to bring tourists to South Carolina’s coast.
Lifetime Television Network also caused a stir when then re-aired Northern Lights on August first which stare LeaAnn and Eddie Cibrian. Rumors were that the two were having an affair off-set and then were both separated from their spouses after.

The couple arrived at Club 55, proceeding to load up on a yacht alongside musician Sting and his wife before setting to the water.
While out, Cindy and Rande shared a snuggle session, also watching on as Sting and his lady went parasailing near Pampelonne beach.
The previous day, Miss Crawford drew the eyes of onlookers, showing off her fabulous bikini body while relaxing alongside her man.

Not long ago, “Sex and the City” star Kristin Davis and husband Kyle MacLachlin separated.
Although they have gone their separate ways, the actress is still a goodwill ambassador for the human rights group Oxfam.
The New York Post reported that she parted with Oxfam claiming that Davis “is no longer working as a spokeswoman for human rights/relief organization Oxfam International because she also endorses the Ahaya cosmetics line-which is manufactured in what Oxfam regards as ‘disputed’ territory.”
Oxfam says that this is not true and denied any separation between the two.
“Kristin Davis remains an Oxfam ambassador and supporter. Oxfam values its on-going relationship with Kristin very highly. The NYP headline is inaccurate.”

Ashley Olsen gave a great interview to Marie Claire in which she talks about style, her fashion empire, and Britney Spears. How?s Britney relate? Ashley?s talking about her childhood and how overly-regimented her life was as a result of being a child star. And she ends the discussion of her military-like existence by saying she?s surprised she didn?t end up like Britney Spears. Meaning all messed up.
The actress, who graces the cover of Marie Claire’s September issue, admits of the pressures of her childhood stardom: “I look at Britney, and I’m surprised I didn’t end up like her.”
Although she is, in fact, far more put together than the troubled pop star, Olsen did get pretty racy for the photo shoot - in one shot, she rocks nothing but a bra and panties. Between poses at her Greenwich Village townhouse, Ashley spoke about how far she’s come since her days as baby Michelle Tanner on “Full House” - days she doesn’t always remember fondly.
“[Growing up,] it was almost like I was in the Army,” she laments. “School, work, homework, fly to New York, get in at 2 in the morning, do a morning show at 5 a.m., then another one at 7, then a radio interview at 10.”

I don?t think the comment was meant as a passive aggressive insult. It?s sort of a given that Britney Spears? childhood fame did a number on her as an adult. In a way, it could be construed as Ashley saying it?s just good luck or something. She doesn?t say anything like, ?Well of course my parents helped keep me and Mary-Kate grounded.? She just says it was hard and exhausting as little kids, and she?s surprised she turned out alright. Really I?d say the comment is more of a slam on her parents than anything.
Ashley and Mary-Kate have received nothing but praise kudos for their fashion work and all of their lines are doing ridiculously well. Ashley’s managed not just to work here and there in show business when she wants to but also become immensely respected not just for wearing other people?s work but for designing her own. She says she gets why people were so fascinated with her and Mary-Kate’s style a few years ago when the twins first moved to New York.
“I think you’re either born with a sense of style or you’re not,” Ashley says in her small, soft voice, giving her knuckles a loud crack. “Either you care or you don’t. And we”?she and Mary-Kate?”love fashion. When we were going to NYU, I think that was the first time we were aware of the power of our personal style. Not the power of it, but the result of it. Between the big sunglasses and the Starbucks cup and the big sweaters, the hobo-chic thing, we were more shocked than anything”?by the endless commentary and tabloid coverage. “I get it; we were fortunate enough to have really nice clothes, and we put them together in this raggedy way.”

Ashlee definitely has an unusual style that’s all her own, and she can pull off looks the rest of us can’t. But she still seems to have a good sense of fashion that, while not high, per se, also isn’t quite for the masses. From most accounts Ashley is an exceptionally hard worker who runs a good deal of the business end of her companies with Mary-Kate. I?d say she didn?t just avoid the pitfalls of childhood stardom, she?s managed to use all of it to her advantage.

I wonder what she?s planning on doing with this degree? According to Wikipedia, Ashley has a long history of being involved with charitable causes. Perhaps Ashley wants to take on a bigger role in the non-profit sector. It?s definitely an unusual route for an actress to take, and I?m excited to learn what her ultimate goal is.

As she continues her impressive turnaround, Britney Spears is being rewarded for her accomplishments in the entertainment business.
The “Gimme More” singer will be taking home the Ultimate Choice Award at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards show on Monday night (August 10).
The show airs Monday and the “Radar” singer holds the record as the female artists with the most Teen Choice Surfboard awards.
Spears told on her Web site today that she’ll also be performing on the show. She is nominated for Choice Music: Single for “Circus,” Choice Music: Female Artist, and Choice Music: Tour.

Loukoumi’s Good Deeds received the iParenting Media Award in the 2009 “Outstanding” category.
The book is based off of a true story that involved a cleaning lady named Daisy who works in the same office as author Nick Katsoris. Daisy was voiced by Aniston and gives Nick a pair of gold cuff links because he says “good morning” to her every day.
The father daughter duo’s CD will be released October 24th on National Make a Difference Day. Proceeds will go towards Aniston’s favorite charity, St. Jude Children Research Hospital.

Katie recently insisted she believes it is possible to be a good mother and have a successful career.

Katie?s career really seems like it could go either way at this point. If she chooses good projects and works with the right people, it could pick back up again. I seriously doubt we?ll ever see her making an Oscar acceptance speech, but you never know. If Tom Cruise had dialed down the crazy at the beginning of their relationship, his connection could have been good for her. Instead it seemed to really hamper an already dimming career. It sounds like Katie has a good plan in terms of focusing on her career right now. She seems like the kind of mom who always puts her child first, and it doesn?t look like Suri?s suffering from any lack of love and attention while Katie?s on set. But another baby could put her out of commission just as things are starting to pick up for her again. Kutcher continued, “The great thing about Mischa for this show is we have a lot of young cast. She’s done it before. On The O.C. she was one of the leads in this big soap opera.”

In other news, Barrymore loves her favorite animal, which happens to be dolphins, so much that she is pretty sure she was one of the water mammals back in her previous life.
“They are just really special creatures and highly evolved. To tell you the truth, I’m convinced I was a dolphin in another life and that’s why I’m so attracted to them,” she told a friend.
The actress’s home is all about dolphins, having over 200 statues and figurines of them placed all over her house and property-even some that are carved from crystal and wood!
She also got to spend time with her animal friends, swimming with them while she visited the Bahamas and Hawaii.
Drew also has had some incidents with squirrels. It was reported that she was being played by squirrels after she started feeding a few in her backyard.
“At first three or four squirrels visited Drew when she went outside for a cigarette break - she called them Luke, Fab and Spike after a trio of her ex-boyfriends. But now more than a dozen flock to her each day,” a source said.

A blogger is claiming that Oprah Winfrey pirated some of his poetry and used it in her internet-published work “Pieces of My Soul,” and now he wants recompense — to the tune of one TRILLION dollars! The National Enquirer says
In an intellectual property case filed July 31 with the US District Court in Washington, D.C. author Damon Lloyd Goffe of the Bronx, New York is suing the talk show titan and her production company Harpo, Inc for damages he claims to be worth $1 trillion.
In the legal papers, Goffe says that “in April 2008 Oprah confessed to seizing original works of authorship” and published on the internet the first draft of his work ” A Tome of Poetry” under another title “Pieces of My Soul.”
The suit also alleges Oprah sold over 650 million editions of the work online
for $20 a copy which “calculates for 1.2 trillion dollars.”
Then Damon went on to say, “The details of my life until this point are quite inconsequential… My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner and my mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. Sarah Jessica Parker may be in a smelly situation – as Universal Perfumes and Cosmetics of Farmingdale, a company in Long Island, is facing a lawsuit for trademark infringement by the makers of Parker’s perfumes.
The perfume manufacturer, Coty, who has the trademark, claims the company sent cease-and-desist letters to Universal Perfumes and received no response.
Universal Perfumes Vice President Danim Islam has no comment on the filed suit and says, “We’re not even aware of this case.”
The “Sex and the City” star put out her fragrance “Lovely” in 2005, and have had five other fragrances under her name since.

A vampire is getting married! Thankfully it?s not Sparkly McDiet-Coke-of-Vampires (aka Robert Pattinson). It?s none other than True Blood hottie Stephen Moyer, who proposed to girlfriend and costar Anna Paquin. The engagement news was released yesterday to People Magazine. Anna and Stephen have been dating since the first season of True Blood began filming in 2007. There are even some questions about whether there was some overlap between the end of Stephen?s seven-year relationship with British journalist Lorien Haynes, and the beginning of his relationship with Anna. Stephen and Lorien share custody of a daughter, Lilac, and Stephen has an older son, Billy, from another previous relationship.
It’s true love for True Blood couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer. The two are engaged to be married, reps for both actors on the HBO vampire series confirm to PEOPLE exclusively.
No further details were available.
Paquin, who plays telepathic Sookie Stackhouse on True Blood, is originally from New Zealand and won a 1994 Supporting Actress Oscar for her role as the precocious child in The Piano.

Why he won’t marry Angelina Jolie: “I have love in my life, a soul mate–absolutely. The right to love: “Man, I resent people telling others how to live! It drives me mental! Just the other night, I heard this TV reverend say that Angie and I were setting a bad example because we were living out of wedlock, and people should not be duped by us! It made me laugh. What damn right does anyone have to tell someone else how to live if they’re not hurting anyone? How many times do you think real love comes to someone in a lifetime? If you’re lucky, maybe two or three.”
Knowing real love: “Do you know how you tell real love? It’s when someone else’s interest trumps your own. I like to put it that way: trumps your own. Love of somebody else–of family, of your kids–becomes the most important, most worthwhile thing in your life. It’s what you foster and protect. You have to recognize real love when it’s there and know that in going after it there is always risk. To live with love, you have to chance losing it. That’s also true when you decide to have kids. It’s the risk you take for love.”
Lessons learned: “As I’ve gotten older I’ve become aware that time is fleeting. I don’t want to waste whatever I have left. I want to spend it with the people I love, and I want to do things that really mean something.”
Admitting his fears: “Angie’s mom died a couple of years ago of cancer. I haven’t had to face a lot of death. I’m untried in that way, and I don’t know how I will deal with it. My real fear at this point is the safety and health of Angie and the kids. The fear of losing them is what keeps me up at night.”
Owning up to his biggest role: “I don’t know who or what is meant to be in my life, but this is certainly where I want to be. Here with them. I think this is the pinnacle. Even as I’m bound to this thing, in a way I’m freer than I’ve ever been.”
Becoming a family man: “My life has been about big changes. It’s always been that way. When I go down a path, I take it to the end. Then I take another one. I took the path of not having kids–now it’s time for family. Children are a dominant value in my life now, and they weren’t before. They were always something I thought I’d get around to having when the time was right. It wasn’t what I was really seeking. In a way, I think I had to go and exhaust me before I could be good at being a parent. This family is full of life! There are laughs, aggravations, irritations, but at the end of the day, it’s fun. When life is really good, it’s messy.”
His early days in Hollywood: “I liked to smoke a bit of grass at the time, and I became very sheltered. Then I got bored. I was turning into a damn doughnut, really. So I moved as far away from that as I could. I was done. In Missouri, where I come from, we don’t talk about what we do–we just do it. If we talk about it, it’s seen as bragging.”
Building his dream house: “This was my first architectural experience where I tried doing something myself. It is something I wanted to do for decades. This is like play to me. It’s the only thing that can take me away from any problems I may have. After a few years of work, it came out so nice. Now I’ve got so many damn kids, it’s the only place we could all fit in. We’re double-bunking rooms as it is.”
About the secret stone grotto behind the waterfall in his pool?: “[It's] a great place for sex.”
Raising an international family: “I travel a lot. I don’t feel restless, I just like to travel. I like to see it all. We’re trying to spend more time in the South of France, because our kids have a more normal life there. I don’t believe there is any way around our kids being international. So we have projects in each of their respective countries, and we put a big emphasis on their learning their native languages.”
His foreign fantasy: “I wish there had been an emphasis on learning a foreign language where I grew up. It frustrates the hell out of me. I’ve studied French. I don’t speak it. I’m working on it. It’s real slow going. Oh, how I suffer! Those synapses never formed! They’re dry-docked for good!”

E! Online has a very interesting sort-of conspiracy theory that Paula Abdul isn’t leaving Idol at all and that her exit was orchestrated for maximum publicity. It’s even possible that Idol producers are in on it, they claim. E! has a rundown of the possible evidence that Paula isn’t leaving at all and that we’ll soon be seeing her back on the hit show.
I don’t think that’s true for a few reasons, primarily because Paula and Idol producers have a long-standing beef that was most apparent when she trash talked them to the press for letting her stalker audition. That doesn’t mean that Paula is definitely leaving, just that it probably wasn’t a big ploy for ratings. TMZ has a brief but probably accurate account of events, and in their version Paula abruptly stepped away from negotiations by Tweeting that she was leaving the show. She may have regretted it afterwards, but Idol honchos took her seriously and issued a press release confirming the news. (TMZ’s account is supported by MSNBC’s The Scoop column, which also mentions that Paula’s departure was a surprise.)
As we already reported, we’re told Paula was pulling in somewhere between $2 and $3 million a year and she wanted more. Our sources say “A.I.” made her an offer that she didn’t like at all. Paula countered but producers didn’t want to pay that much, so they countered with another offer.
Rather than responding to the second offer, Paula shocked everyone by tweeting her goodbye. The weirdest thing … “A.I.” took the tweet seriously and responded with an official sayonara.
We’re told Paula made it especially difficult during the negotiations because she changed management twice.
One person at “Idol” called her reaction “an emotional tweet.” You don’t learn that in law school.
As for what she’ll do, we’re told producer Nigel Lythgoe has given her a standing offer to be a guest judge on “So You Think You Can Dance.” Here’s what we’re thinking — he’d kill to make her a regular.

TMZ also reported that Paula was upset that she was still making 2-3 million a year while Ryan Secrest just signed that $45 million, three year contract. I don’t agree that entertainers should make that insane amount of money, but on the other hand Paula is just as valuable to the franchise as Ryan and deserves equitable pay. The National Enquirer reported last month that Paula wanted $20 million a year, but they also claimed she was making $10 million with her existing contract. That figure doesn’t jibe with TMZ’s report.
As for what’s next for Paula, Radar Online is reporting that she’s working on developing a Las Vegas variety show in the vein of Cirque du Soleil and that she’s considering a stint on “So You Think You Can Dance.” I still think that Idol producers really screwed up by playing hardball, but it seems like the decision to leave the show was ultimately Paula’s. Whether it’s final or not, we’ll have to wait and see.
Meanwhile Idol producers are lining up some celebrity judges to bring interest to the show. Victoria Beckham is set to appear next season, but just for one episode.

Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have insisted that their new private school, The New Village Academy, is not a Scientology school despite the fact that it uses some of Scientology’s unproven educational methods and textbooks, including “Study Tech,” a system developed by the cult’s founder, L. Ron Hubbard. Five out of seventeen of the teachers at the school are known Scientologists, and the language on the school’s website, including it’s motto “Spiral Up,” borrow heavily from the Scientology lexicon. Smith has consistently said that it’s not a Scientology school and has even spoken to protesters from the group Anonymous, many of whom were impressed by how approachable and earnest he seemed. According to Smith he’s just using a variety of educational methods and seeing what works. “You can take different parts of things you like and put them all together,” he explained.
Radar Online has an exclusive that Jada recently fired the head of the school, experienced educational administrator Jacqueline Olivier, primarily because she disagreed with the use of Scientology’s Study Tech. Study Tech has never been independently verified as effective, and many educational experts say that it teaches the basic tenants of the cult to unsuspecting children, and is essentially religious education in disguise. Olivier’s replacement, Piano Foster, has unsurprisingly taken Scientology courses and is not likely to question the use of Study Tech:
Jacqueline Olivier - the woman the famous husband and wife enlisted to set up their Calabasas campus - was axed from her $200,000 a year position via a telephone call from the Matrix actress.
“Jada phoned Jaqueline and told her that they had ‘decided to go in another direction’ with the school,? an insider told RadarOnline.com. ?As head of the campus her position was becoming untenable as she did not agree with Study Tech and felt uncomfortable with it.? Olivier ?thrashed-out? a severance package with the couple and ?it?s understood that she signed a confidentiality agreement with regard to her time at the school.?
Calls to Olivier were not immediately returned but it is understood that she has taken-up another position within the educational recruitment field.
The school head and the superstar couple were said to have clashed about the school’s mysterious Study Tech curriculum which was devised by Scientologist founder Ron L. Hubbard. While the school?s official website simply reads ?Coming Soon!? under Head of School, RadarOnline.com has learned that Piano Foster is the new woman tapped for the role.
“They have appointed somebody else who is more ‘in-line’ with their thinking as to how the school should be run,” the source added.
When contacted by RadarOnline.com, Foster confirmed: “I officially took over on July 1, 2009, and I’m looking forward to the challenge. I’ve been working in education for the past 20 years at various public and charter schools so I feel I’m ready for the job.”
Foster remained tight-lipped when asked about her famous employers or any other controversies surrounding her school.
When The New Village Leadership Academy opened last September it attracted several demonstrators who protested outside the main gates that it was a front for Scientology teachings. Will and Jada had previously been home-schooling their two children Willow, 7, and Jaden, 9, at their nearby $20 million Calabasas mansion. The couple signed a deal to lease the campus for $889,000 for a three year period while re-naming it and picking up all other additional costs. Both their kids attend the school whose motto is Spiral Up! - tuition ranges from $7, 500 to $12,500 for pupils from pre-kindergarten through grade 6.

People have the freedom to teach their children any religion they please and to follow any educational method they deem appropriate. Educators and schools have an obligation to be transparent when it comes to other people’s children, and to let parents know if they follow a religious curriculum. There are sure to be parents who send their kids to this school thinking that it’s a secular school endorsed by Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, a couple who has so far avoided controversy mainly because they deny having a connection to the “church” of Scientology. Now that they’ve fired the head of their school for disagreeing with those teachings and have replaced her with a Scientologist, I guess we know how central Scientology is to their school’s curriculum.

Vanessa Hudgens is involved in another mini-scandal over nude photos. Some topless cell phone pictures of the 20 year-old High School Musical star came out earlier this week. These are previously unseen pictures of Vanessa, whose rise to fame was significantly boosted by the leak of frontal nude shots in September, 2007. (Link is safe for work.) We received a legal notice from Hudgen’s attorney in May, 2008 to remove those nude photos so we won’t be publishing the latest ones here. They’re available online, and are on the Huffington Post and Egotastic. WWTDD and The Superficial also posted the photos, and were asked to remove them by Hudgen’s lawyers, who claimed she was underage and only 17 at the time they were taken.
According to E! Online’s Marc Malkin, Vanessa supposedly figured out back when her first set of pictures leaked that it was a stupid idea to take easily identifiable nude pictures of herself. We heard back then that Hudgens was quite fond of sexy self portraits and had even e-mailed some to Drake Bell of Nickelodeon’s “Drake & Josh.”

The pics were apparently taken before her first naked photo controversy erupted nearly two years ago. “She learned her lesson,” a source said. “She hasn’t done anything like that since the first ones came out. These new ones are actually old.”
Either way, Hudgens isn’t planning on issuing a statement the way she did the last time around.
“I want to apologize to my fans, whose support and trust means the world to me,” she said back in September 2007. “I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos.”
But what about tomorrow night when she’ll face an army of press in Los Angeles at the red carpet premiere of her new movie, Bandslam? I’m told she’s still planning to attend.
“She’s not going to answer any questions about them there either,” the source said. “She said what she had to say about taking nude photos.”

It seems like more than just a coincidence that these picture came out while Vanessa is promoting her new film, Bandslam, out August 18. She was on Jimmy Kimmel last night and giggled through the interview. Kimmel did not bring up the nude photos at all and Vanessa didn’t say anything that was particularly notable. (You can watch her interview below.) I like Vanessa and don’t find her particularly annoying for a young scarlet. She came across as friendly and cute on Kimmel. I get the feeling that she’s the one who made sure these photos came out at just the right time. After all, the last set of nude pictures were quite a boost to her career.

As previously reported by Gossip Center, Kim’s sister Kourtney recently chatted with Ryan Seacrest about her sister’s state after breaking up with longtime beau, Reggie Bush.
“Kimmie’s good. She’s fine,” Kourtney said. “I feel like she just needs...alone time and to focus on herself.”
Asked if the two will get back together, Kourtney replied, “I hope so,” adding, “I haven’t talked to him, but my mom just said she’s going to training camp and dragging him back! We all love Reggie. How cute would the babies be?”
