Stepping out to do some post-promotions shopping, style-savvy Selena Gomez took to All Saints in Oxford, England earlier today (July 6).
The 18-year-old songstress, who later went for dinner at a nearby spaghetti house, looked stunning in a shiny silver top, blue jeans, and gray suede heels.
Gomez's shopping/dinner excursion followed a morning in which she helped launch the new channel Disney HD in the UK.
Meanwhile, while things continue to heat up between Selena and beau Justin Bieber (who both born to teenage parents), their families have spoke out to warn the duo of the importance of safe sex.
According to one Gomez-Bieber insider, it's important that the teens understand how their current decisions could impact them forever, telling press, "Everyone knows their intentions are good, but they also know how easy it is to get worked up when you're young and in love...It would only take a few moments of weakness to cause what could be a lifetime of regret."

I feel like I see new photos of Jessica Alba every other day, almost all of them ?candids? - like, Alba and Honor going to the doctor, Alba and Honor playing in the park, Alba and Honor walking down the street. It is my belief that Alba is trying to work out the same kind of ?Every Mom? likeability that Jennifer Garner has and maintains through her endless candid photo shoots with her daughters. The problem? No one really gives a crap about Jessica Alba. Most people aren?t even interested in her second pregnancy, which has to be a big letdown for Alba. After she gave birth to Honor, she gave lots of interviews about how her body was ruined, and she often came across like she was martyring herself, all for motherhood (and public adulation). It was kind of funny. Anyway, Alba covers the new issue of Latina Magazine, and she?s once again trying to get us interested in anything having to do with her bump. Oddly enough, I find her comments about race to be the most interesting things:
On preparing for her second child: ?The first time around, every moment was so new and terrifying and now I know what to expect. It?s like ?It?s fine, I?ve been there before.? With Honor, I was constantly asking myself ?Is she moving? Is her heart beating?? I?d worry about everything, and with this baby I don?t have the same anxieties.?
On balancing motherhood & her career: ?After I had Honor I didn?t leave the house for a while. It was all about changing diapers and feedings and still trying to get back in to the routine of my [acting] thing. I love what I do. But unless it?s worth it, I?m not going to spend time away from my daughter. Before I had her, work was all I had. Now it?s not.?
On the possibility of more kids: ?I just have to feel it out,? she says with a wink. ?See how my 30s treat me. I just try to live in the moment.?
On showing off your shape: ?If you are sporting a pregnant belly, it?s better to show it than to hide it. If you look in the mirror and you look really wide and frumpy, then you?re going to appear really wide and frumpy. The more figure forming your clothes, even though you have more curves, the better. I like long, thin sweaters that kind of hide my hips and my booty, so there?s not a huge emphasis on how big they?re getting.?
On her insecurities: ?I was a lot more insecure when I was younger. I was very sensitive to criticism. Now I?m definitely a lot more self-assured.? In 2008, she told Latina: ?All of the stuff I got made fun of as a kid? bubble butt, fish lips, the dark skin ? I?m proud of now.?
On landing her breakthrough role: ?I certainly knew the significance of Dark Angel because I knew how difficult it was just to get to that point. A lot of people didn?t even give me a chance based on how racially ambiguous I looked.?
On studying Spanish: ?I?ve definitely considered moving to a Spanish-speaking country for a little while, even if it?s just a month or two, because I think at the end of the day that?s how you really learn.?

That quote is driving me crazy, mostly because I interpret Alba as blaming her own “ambiguous” ethnicity on the fact that she doesn’t get the kind of roles she wants (as opposed to her being a crappy actress). CB thinks Alba is saying, “I’m not easily classified as Latina or girl next door American, so I didn’t get considered for parts because of that.” Perhaps Alba is just trying to explain why no one wants to work with someone who thinks that because she?s so amazing, she gets to make up her own lines to any script?
By the way, going back to the race thing - Alba has gotten in trouble (”foot in mouth” trouble) for talking about her Mexican roots in the past - it was in 2007 when she talked about how she didn?t self-identify as ?Latina? I just don’t see a casting director sitting on his couch and telling Jessica Alba that she wasn’t good for this part because no one could figure out if she was Mexican, Puerto Rican or a really tan white girl. His raging erection would have clearly undermined his argument.

I don?t understand that at all - it?s like she?s trying to say that she doesn?t look like she?s Hispanic (like looking Hispanic is some kind affliction), but that she?s still the Victim of Cruel, Racist Hollywood - even though she doesn?t look ?ethnic? (in her mind). Trying to follow this ridiculous logic is mind-numbing. Perhaps Alba is just trying to explain why no one wants to work with a marginally talented actress who thinks that because she?s so amazing, she gets to make up her own lines in any script?

Everyone thought Michael Jackson was broke and in debt when he died two years ago. He was signed up to do those thirty concerts in order to earn some much-needed money, having already squandered hundreds of millions on his insane lifestyle. His estate was in foreclosure, his amusement park was left empty and in desrepair like a setting for a horror movie. There wasn’t even enough money to pay for the upkeep of the exotic animals in his zoo. I remember when his nanny, Grace Rwaramba, was interviewed after his death and revealed that they’d been sponging off the King of Bahrain until 2007 and later lived with friends. She said that they stayed for weeks in a small home of a friend of Jackson’s in New Jersey, with all three of the kids staying in one room with her.
Grace also revealed that Jackson remained foolish with his money even when they were homeless. She said that he’d received some money and instead of using it to buy a home Jackson told her to spend it on antiques. “Suddenly… he received some money. Instead of buying a small house, so that we won?t go from one hotel to another or stay with friends, he told me, ?Grace, you have to go immediately to Florence to buy antiques.? He wanted me to spend 1m. [$1.6m USD]… We didn?t even have a home to live in so we had to put the antiques in some storage.”
So Jackson had no clue how not to spend money, but apparently he bought some worthwhile art in his spending sprees. Star Magazine is reporting [via Radar] that art valued at nearly a billion dollars has been uncovered as potentially belonging to his estate. Only Jackson supposedly gave it all away to some friend of his and now his estate is trying to recover it.

Lawyers running the late Thriller singer are moving to block the $87.7 million sale to an undisclosed international businessman, in a desperate attempt to return the incredible treasure to Prince, 13, Paris, 12, and Blanket, 8, and their guardian, Jackson’s mother Katherine.
In an astonishing appraisal of the 182-pieces, obtained exclusively by Star, the ?rare intact major collection? was valued at a whopping $902.52 million, with ?an invaluable pedigree for future sales in the international art market.?
?Michael?s mystique in life combined with this exposure of his wonderful fine art creations following his tragic death will escalate the value of these works and the popularity of his artistic vision worldwide,? appraiser Eric Finzi, a certified member of the International Society of Appraisers, wrote in a document obtained by the magazine.
?I do not think we have begun to see the true value of this fine art yet.?
The loot is so valuable that it?s worth almost more than Jackson?s other assets combined, including copyrights to his pop hits and the Beatles’ catalog, which he purchased in 1998 for $47.5 million.

It gets more complicated than just a bunch of previously unaccounted-for art and antiques that Jackson owned. Apparently Jackson gave it all away to a friend of his, Australian artist Brett-Livingston Strong, and Strong is the one trying to sell it. Only the document in which Jackson’s business manager told Strong he was entitled to the art wasn’t signed by Jackson and his family is questioning whether the transfer of the goods was legal and if Jackson was aware of it. So it’s a big mess at this point, just like everything else in this guy’s life.
These are actual photos taken from inside Neverland in December, 2003 during a police investigation. They show Michael Jackson?s bedroom, dressing room and bathroom. The place was filled with trash. Some rooms were surely habitable, but no one was cleaning up after Jackson’s clutter at that time. This is some hoarders-level chaos. No wonder Jackson and/or his people just gave it away. Check out the weird mannequin of the kid doing a handstand. I wonder how much that painting of Jackson as Jesus at a table full of luminaries recreating The Last Supper is worth.
Here’s the question, even if Jackson had access to all this additional money (which was tied up in the crap he bought), would he have been able to buy another home and live within his still enormous means? He’d already wasted probably a billion dollars. He could have easily blown through hundreds of millions more, and it probably wouldn’t have taken him long. I mean that’s how he ended up with all that stuff in the first place.

Natalie Portman gave birth to her son nearly three weeks ago, but until now, we haven?t heard much about what she named the little boy. Some people said that not announcing the name is a Jewish tradition?? If it is, I guess I understand. So? if we ever did find out the baby name, how would Natalie do it? A simple confirmation to People Magazine would have been my guess. Here is the August cover of Cosmopolitan, with a surprisingly pretty photo of Kim Kardashian on the cover. I hate that about Kim - in candid photos and red carpets, she tends to look jacked and crazy kat-faced, but in so many photo shoots, she actually looks gorgeous. Natalie Portman gave birth to a baby boy earlier this year but details have been scarce. No one even knows his name. Until now maybe. A report from Israel’s top daily newspaper claims Natalie named the kid Alef. Do we need an explanation or can we go straight to making fun of him?
The first letter of the Hebrew alphabet, Alef (or Aleph) apparently also means leader. Though neither Natalie or Benjamin have commented on the report, the name was reportedly confirmed by the Oscar-winner?s cousin.
Natalie, whose real last name is Hershlag, was born in Jerusalem and lived in Israel until her family moved to the US when she was 3. She maintains dual citizenship and has said that though she ?really love[s] the States? my heart?s in Jerusalem. That?s where I feel at home.? She also studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Yesterday, the biggest show in town (for Paris Fashion Week) was Chanel, of course. Karl Lagerfeld wouldn?t have it any other way. But here?s what surprises me: none of the standard-issue famewhore fashion girls dropped everything to fly to Paris to be with Karl. There was no Kate Bosworth, no Rachel Bilson, no Kirsten Dunst and NO Blake Lively. What?s up, fashion girls? But of course, Alexa Chung showed up, looking like hell. The biggest ?names? at the event were Diane Kruger, one of Lagerfeld?s favorites, and little Elle Fanning, looking out of place.
I guess I like Diane?s gown the most - I really love the top part, with the studs, but the skirt is rather meh. I also feel bad for Joshua Jackson. Poor guy has to escort his girl to all of these fashion events, and I bet he doesn?t even give a crap.
Here?s Elle Fanning - the outfit is cuter without the little jacket thing, but I still don?t care for a girl this young A) wearing Chanel and B) Attending a Chanel runway show in Paris. Elle just turned 13 in April.

I was just telling my mom that Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth have been married for over ten years. She’s a big Nurse Jackie fan and was recommending him for Hot Guy Friday. He’s not really my cup of tea, particularly as that strange-looking doctor vampire on Twilight. (Why did they have to dye his hair blonde? He just looks freaky that way.) I get Peter’s appeal though, and there are surely plenty of other women who would jump at the chance. If Perez Hilton is to be believed, Facinelli (and Garth) admirers may have their opportunity now that the couple is separated. They’re supposedly living apart. They were married in January, 2001 and have three daughters together: Luca, 14, Lola, 8, and Fiona, who turns five in September. Here’s the story from Perez:
Sources close to the couple reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Twilight star Peter Facinelli and 90210 alum Jennie Garth are currently on a “break”.
The pair, who have been married since 2001, are currently living apart, insiders tell us.
“Jennie is living in the family home in Toluca Lake and Peter has been renting a home in Santa Ynez,” according to our source. “It’s not looking good!”
Insiders insist that no third party is involved, but divorce is looking like the final outcome.

That’s sad for their family. I’ve heard too many stories lately about couples not being able to work it out.
Back in November, 2008, Jennie said that divorce was not an option and seemed to hint that she was having problems in the marriage:
“In this industry, there?s always going to be someone more beautiful out there. It?s easy to be tempted. I?m not interested in taking the easy way out. Divorce is not an option for us. I want to be with my family.”
Jennie also said back then that she wanted more kids, but implied that Peter wasn’t on board. She joked “Will you talk to my husband for me please? I want to have a baby or adopt. My body keeps telling me to have babies.”
So it sounds like these two have been having problems for a while, and are disagreeing about whether they should have more kids. I hope that this report is wrong though. They seemed so solid. These photos are from May and June of 2010. A lot can change in a year.

A gust of wind lifted Reese Witherspoon’s shirt and revealed what appeared to be a huge belly tattoo as she walked along the beach with her children and new husband over the weekend (slightly better version of it here). According to Google Trends, this is something you all care DEEPLY about. It’s not my fault you don’t have a life. The Daily Mail says:
She’s known as a prim and proper Southern belle, but it seems America’s sweetheart Reese Witherspoon has been hiding a rebellious side.
Reese had a small blue star tattoo on the left side of her pelvis for a number of years and it appears as if the new design is covering up her old inking.
However, she appears reluctant to show off her new etching – which looks to be two birds joined together – and kept her torso largely hidden during the beach getaway.
I thought you had to be Latina to get a belly tattoo. Just like you have to be Mexican to get a portrait of Jesus and black to get an eight-ball. Honestly, there are rules, people. You start getting tattoos all willy-nilly like this and I’ll never be able to racially stereotype with any accuracy again.

Yesterday, I put up some of the earliest photos we had of Katie Holmes at the Armani show in Paris. Thankfully, we got some better photos so now we get to see how much Mr. Armani secretly disliked the Kate-bot. He put her in this slouchy black outfit - although to be fair to Mr. Armani, Katie might have picked it out for herself. Ill-fitting slouchy pants? are they meant to be Capri pants? Or is the hemline just wonky? And that shiny faux-menswear-style shirt. It?s all pretty bad. I was wondering why this outfit seemed so particularly hideous to me, when really, it?s far from the most terrible thing Katie has ever worn. I think I hate it so much because A) Katie?s style has actually been improving lately, and it hurts me to see her take a dip, and B) because Katie rarely does that all-black thing, nor the all covered-up thing.
I will say this, though - in addition to being (generally) more stylish lately, her hair has also been consistently AMAZING lately. I don?t know what she?s doing with it, but it looks so good. Her makeup is great too lately, What?s up, Kate-bot? She really needs to work on not looking like she?s rebooting though:
Next up: Katie?s casual look for an outing to the Dior children?s boutique, which she went to after the Armani show. The outing deserved a costume change! You know what? If Jennifer Garner was wearing this ensemble, I would probably find it dated and cloying, but on Katie, it?s not bad. I dislike skinny jeans, but she?s working a pretty good pair, and that blouse looks feminine and sweet on her, rather than immature.

Here are some new photos of Anne Hathaway today at the Valentino show for Paris Fashion Week. Annie is wearing Valentino, of course. At first, I was all ?Meh, Mob widow much?? But check out the bottom of the dress - it?s totally transparent! Not Anne?s usual style, at all. Of course, I?d be hard-pressed to really define Anne?s style - Rachel Zoe is her stylist, and Rachel has put Anne in some horrendous things in the past, almost like Zoe is hypnotized by Anne?s pale skin and dark hair and eyes, and doesn?t know how to dress someone not blonde and tan. Over the past year, Anne has been working a more sophisticated style (especially during her fashion show at the Oscars), but this Valentino number just shows that Anne still needs to learn the power of saying ?NO.?

OK! Magazine has a new piece about all the problems Jessica Simpson is supposedly facing ahead of her wedding, which is rumored to be taking place this fall. The article focuses on whatever competition she may be feeling as her ex, Nick Lachey, marries his longterm girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo this summer. I would say that’s overblown, but remember that Jessica announced her engagement to Eric Johnson just a few days after Nick and Vanessa did. Nick couldn’t give a crap, though. It’s not a race for him. So I think Nick’s upcoming wedding may bother Jessica, but maybe not to the extent the gossip press would have us believe. She’s probably wanted to remarry for ages and the fact that it coincides with Nick’s wedding this year is just earning her more publicity.
Anyway some of OK!’s story sounds fake to me. They claim that Jessica wanted to have her wedding on July 2 but found out that Nick’s bachelor party was then so they rescheduled. We’ve heard that she’s having it on 11/11/11 for superstitious reasons so that doesn’t seem likely that it would happen this summer. I’m not above repeating this though of course.
They couldn’t agree on a venue
“Jessica had her heart set on a tropical destination,” a longtime pal tells OK! “She was pushing for Turtle Island resort in Fiji.” But that’s where she went on her first honeymoon with Nick. “Eric felt like it was a bad omen,” says the pal. That upset Jess. “She said she didn’t want to go through with the wedding if it was going to start all these fights,” adds the source.
She’s losing the weight war
Although Jessica thinks she’s good the way she is, weight is still a sore point. “She gets irritated that if you google her name, all that comes up is ‘Jessica is fatter than Vanessa [Minnillo],” says the source… “She feels like it’ll haunt her forever, so she’s insecure about it.”
She didn’t want to compete with Nick’s party

This is a different process: There’s a beginning, an end, and then it’s over, it’s done.” At first I really thought he was talking about his first marriage to Jessica.

Cue the adoption and pregnancy rumors, Jennifer Aniston just announced through a “source,” aka her publicist, that she’s taking a year off work starting this fall. Doesn’t it seem like celebrity actors make this announcement whenever they have some unplanned-for down time, and then reneg once a half decent project comes along? I predict a similar outcome for Aniston.
There are a few of things that I took away from this brief article. 1. Aniston wants us to know how happy she is, as usual. 2. Her people want us to think she’s planned the fact that she isn’t in another romcom right after her Horrible Bosses gig. And 3. it’s clear that US has been running publicist-planted stories from her camp for some time. I mean, we didn’t need even more confirmation of that, but it’s just painfully obvious now. (Revisit some of their past articles trumpeting her new relationship and fabulous lifestyle.)
So Aniston meant to do this with her career, and Huvane is giving us the heads up on it. (Note: Kaiser just reminded me after I wrote all this that this blurb was in last week’s US Weekly print edition and we mentioned it in an earlier post. Maybe they’re also hoping that all this news will help advance her projects within the industry as well. Goree Girls was announced in the summer of 2009 and filming was supposed to take place in January of 2010, but it was supposedly delayed so that Aniston could film Just Go With It. Now she’s done yet another movie and has all this down time where nothing is scheduled. It seems like the project is on hold indefinitely for some reason. IMDB has the release date for Goree Girls listed as 2013.

I just don?t get it? WTF? Justin Timberlake cheated on Jessica Biel constantly, and Biel was seemingly powerless and weak in the relationship. It?s believed that JT did the dumping too - so why did he go back? And why did Jessica Biel TAKE him back? Ugh.
Breakup to makeup! Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel might have broken up in March, but a source tells the new Us Weekly (on stands Wednesday) their 4-year-romance hasn’t fizzled out just yet.
Timberlake, 30, and Biel, 29, are “quietly seeing each other again,” says a source. “They have been talking the whole time and decided to give it another shot. Jessica really wanted to get back together with him and Justin realized single life is not what it’s cracked up to be.”

So? I have some theories. One theory has Justin Timberlake being one of Those Guys - the guys who don?t know what to do with themselves unless they have an official girlfriend. I?ve known lots of those guys, and while they?re not bad people, just because they have an official girlfriend, doesn?t mean they?re committed. I think JT dumped Biel because he wanted a new official girlfriend, and some of the ladies he had his eye on weren?t interested (Mila Kunis, anyone?). I do think Olivia Munn probably would have loved to be JT?s Official GF, but if given the choice between going back to Biel and trying something new with Olivia, I might have chosen Biel too.
Also: I get the feeling that Jessica Biel?s boyfriend hustle didn?t go the way she and her publicist thought it would. She thought Gerard Butler would play along - Gerry NEVER plays along. And maybe Colin Farrell is giving Biel the brush off too - so going back to JT might be Biel?s best possible option for the moment.

With their holiday in the Land Down Under coming to an end, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were all smiles as they departed Sydney, Australia with their little ones on Wednesday (July 6).
The "Rabbit Hole" actress toted baby Faith Margaret in her arms while her country singing hubby held daughter Sunday Rose's hand as the fabulous foursome entered the terminal for the long flight back to the States.
During their stay in Aussieland, Miss Kidman enjoyed spending time with her family while also throwing Sunday an early birthday bash - as Nicole and Keith's eldest daughter will be turning three on Thursday, July 7th.
Meanwhile, the trip back to the U.S. comes as Keith is all set to head back on the road with big shows lines up this weekend at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday and Sunday night.

Capping off an exciting day overseas, Selena Gomez enjoyed an evening on the town in London with a dinner outing at Nobu on Tuesday night (July 5).
The "Who Says" singer was looking fabulous in a frilly off-the-shoulder top with baggy black pants and an MCM handbag as she and her gal pals noshed on Japanese cuisine at the trendy eatery.
Earlier in the day, Selena made a promotional stop at London's HMV store, as she tweeted after the meet and greet, "Thanks to all of you who came out to see me at HMV me this afternoon. It was so good to see y'all!"
In London promoting her new album "When The Sun Goes Down," Gomez told Billboard of her maturing sound, "I'm still the same person, but I am getting older, so I wanted to create a while different kind of fun sound when it came to the lyrics. The lyrics are a lot more cheeky on this album...and the music's really fun."
She added that the album is "more positive, which I haven't really done a lot of. 'Naturally' and 'Who Says,' which are my biggest songs, are both very positive, but most of my records are kind of intense break-up songs and a little bit repetitive with what I'm singing about. So I guess I'm really excited about the fact that most of (the album) is really uplifting songs about summer and being able to be present and happy with where you are and enjoying the moment. It's a really empowering record and that's just more of the place I was in, so I wanted it to be really powerful and to be something that was inspiring."
As for her upcoming seven-week "When The Sun Goes Down Tour - which starts July 24 - the 18-year-old revealed, "We're dividing it into four sections. We're going to have wardrobe changes. There's going to be dancers -- I will not be dancing most of the time. They'll just be back there getting the crowd pumped up. We're going to have fun screens in the background. It's just gonna be a huge party. I wanted to make it like a PG-13 rave."

Heading out to pick up some odds and ends, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer hit up a Los Angeles CVS earlier today (July 5).
The "True Blood" lovers, who were seen buying an interesting combination of items - an assortment of Cadbury candy eggs and a flag - kept their eyes away from the impending shutterbugs while making their swift exit.
The shopping excursion comes as the duo are readying themselves for the highly-talked about new episode of "True Blood" titled "If You Love Me, Why Am I Dyin'".
In the latest installment airing this Sunday (July 10) at 9p.m. on HBO, Sookie (Paquin) makes a deal with Eric ( Alexander Skarsgard), before he turns on her and kills her fairy godmother.
