Kelly Bensimon is known for being super fit, and very tan, at 49. She’s one of those former Real Housewives of New York and just seems to have some kind of very minor celebrity longevity, like one of the cast members of Laguna Beach or something. You know who she is, she’s around a lot, but she usually seems to blend into the background. Anyway she talked to US Magazine about her workout routine and how she switched it up recently and thinks that’s the answer to changing her body. She already looked chiseled as anything, but apparently she thinks she was running too much and that it was making her look “over worked out,” but that now that she does SoulCycle her body has changed for the better but she’s working out less. OK.
The former Real Housewives of New York City star told Us that her new go-to workout is tapping it back at SoulCycle.
?I actually changed my routine recently,? Bensimon shared. ?My oldest daughter started going to SoulCycle. I started going to classes with her and my body started changing. I?m 49-years-old and by amping up my exercise routine, my body started changing.?
The model explained that she ?noticed everything becoming more toned? and that she used to always just run, which made her look ?over worked out.?
?I think a lot of women exhaust themselves and they age a lot quicker,? Bensimon told Us, adding that switching up her routine to SoulCyle has been a ?game changer.?
?I would say I workout only three times a week,” she concluded. “Which is less than before and I like my body a lot more.?

I don’t buy this women “exhausting” themselves with exercise stuff. I’m in my 40s and I do a lot of cardio and feel better than I have in decades. (I’m sure Bensimon is talking about levels beyond what I do, but work with me on this.) I think it’s an “ass or your face” situation (Lainey introduced me to that but I don’t think she coined it) where women who are very slender and fit start to look drawn and old. You need a little weight on to make sure your face isn’t too gaunt-looking when you’re older. If you are underweight it looks unattractive on older women. Of course a lot of those women who exercise their bodies to perfection also get injectables which can make you look preternaturally old if they’re not precisely done. Bensimon has had some jabs, judging from her photos, but they’re decent so far and she seems to be sticking to the Botox. Also, as far as exercise philosophy my motto is “whatever works for you and keeps you coming back.” There’s no one solution or program for anyone.

Even though America?s Got Talent hasn?t aired the first episode of its 12th season (the season premiere is Tuesday, May 30), the NBC show is already making headlines – and it?s not because of an old man performing scream-o metal or anyone named Tape Face.
After taking over hosting duties of the popular summer series after Nick Cannon?s abrupt departure, Tyra Banks has already generated some controversy of her own. The 43-year-old model/actress is named in a lawsuit against Marathon Productions (the company responsible for producing AGT) filed by a contestant on the show, alleging that her daughter was ?traumatized? after being ?physically manipulated and verbally abused? by Tyra.
In the 18-page lawsuit, which was filed on Tuesday, the plaintiff, simply referred to as Jane Doe, alleged that during the taping of one of the show?s audition episodes on March 19, her daughter, ?Mary,? was subject to treatment that left her ?deeply depressed.?
The suit alleges that during Jane?s performance of an original song with her husband, show producers told Mary ?to act embarrassed and annoyed by her parents? performance.? The song, which the couple wrote about motherhood and the birth of their daughter was a ?bond among the members of her family.? Jane alleged the song was ?especially favored? by Mary.
I?ve not heard the song, but I have a sneaking suspicion it probably wasn?t very good. And, with what happened next, I think I might be right. After the performance, Jane alleged that Tyra not only insinuated that the child was accidentally conceived, she also ?shook Mary?s shoulder, pulled Mary?s hair back and physically manipulated Mary.? The suit goes on to say that ?Mary did not stop Banks? conduct because Mary was fearful.? After the incident, Jane said that Mary was still experiencing PTSD-like symptoms when recalling the event, stating:
[She] would become extremely nervous and anxious whenever, among other triggering events, she hears any mentions of [the] song and [the] song itself, whenever she ruminates about the events during or

Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing made a big show of bringing several top models to Cannes yesterday. Balmain is pretty model-heavy these days, and the Balmain brand is now all about glitz and glamour (rather than innovative design). One of the big ?gets? for Balmain was the reappearance of Irina Shayk, who only gave birth to her first baby back in late March (daughter Lea de Seine Shayk Cooper). I get that her body bounced back like crazy and she?s all about the modeling work, but seriously? there will be other film festivals! Irina?s look here is Balmain, obviously.
Lara Stone also wore custom Balmain. Her body is bangin? and this dress shows it off, but this just seems sort of meh?
I love Doutzen Kroes and she has my dream body. But this silver Balmain dress is kind of meh. Granted, she elevates it. I would loathe this on a Kardashian, but on Doutzen, it?s okay.
Elsa Hosk is really feeling herself in this wrinkled Alberta Ferretti ballgown. Elsa is also my candidate for the annual Who Wants To Be Leo DiCaprio?s New Girlfriend event.
Tina Kunakey wore Armani and I honestly love this dress. It?s really pretty and summery and cute. If the v-neck was a little bit higher, I would wear this with a light cardi and flip-flops.
