I?m only now realizing why we?ve been hearing more from LeAnn Rimes lately. She?s got new projects, and she?s actively seeking out some attention after being pretty quiet in recent years. She?s got a major role in a TV show 911: Nashville and she?s also releasing a perfume. Plus, she?s still touring. She?s still the breadwinner of her marriage, although I suspect that Eddie Cibrian does alright financially. Anyway, LeAnn has a new interview with The Flowspace, where she talks about her many health issues, her diet, her hyperbaric chamber and more. She also reflects back on the affair that started it all. Some highlights from this piece:
She used to take a sip of tequila before performances: ?I?ve traded that for Mylanta! I have acid reflux, and it?s been burning my vocal chords. [I have] a whole suitcase of all my supplements and collagen and creatine and protein and a blender. And I?m really into peptides, so I have all my shots packed on ice. There is so much prep that goes into keeping healthy on the road!?
The crew of ?911: Nashville? were shocked that she?s old enough to be a mom?? ?They were like, ?Oh, wow?we heard you?re going to be playing a mom?what? There?s no way you?re old enough to play a mom!?
She loves being older. ?You cannot pay me to go back to my 20s?just, no thank you. I?ll take the wrinkles! I felt very alone in this world for a long time. I don?t necessarily feel that way anymore? I don?t feel like I?m ever in hiding.
Dental issues: After getting dental veneers around the age of 16, she later had them redone by a dentist who didn?t bond them correctly; to address the problem, Rimes spent a decade undergoing multiple root canals and oral surgeries. ?I look at my pictures from that time, and my face was so different?it was just so swollen,? she shares. ?Oh, it was awful. I was in chronic pain for, like, two-and-a-half years.?
Going through perimenopause: She started feeling the symptoms in her late 30s and now takes hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to manage. ?I thought I was crazy for about two years. I was waking up at 3 a.m. all the time, and having really, really heavy anxiety.? She sought help from Mindy Pelz, a doctor of chiropractic medicine and author of The Menopause Reset, who strongly encouraged her to open up to Cibrian about what she was going through. ?She was like, ?Look, I?ve seen marriages literally implode over this? because no one really explains it to [men].? She was always telling me, ?If you?re feeling something, express it to him.? And I do; I?m really vocal about it.?
On her affair with Eddie which ended both of their marriages: Reflecting on ?all of the craziness we went through,? Rimes says she understands why people had such strong reactions to the couple?s affair. ?I realized very quickly that there are a lot of women who?ve been hurt. Like, I?ve been on both sides of that coin?I?ve been cheated on, too, so I know that feeling,? she says. ?But so many women don?t know what to do with that anger? I was a target that was just easily projected upon. And once I realized that, things got a lot easier. Instead of taking it so personally, it?s like, look: This is not all my pain to carry. I know what I?m responsible for in the situation and making amends for that. But you know, the world?s pain is not mine to carry, and I think that really got thrown at me for a long time.?
Her daily routines: Rimes prides herself on being an early adopter of longevity treatments, declaring, ?I?m one of those people who will try anything once.? She and Cibrian start their day by injecting themselves with peptide shots, a therapy that early clinical studies indicate could improve, among other things, skin and hair quality. She then spends about 90 minutes in her at-home hyperbaric oxygen chamber, which can help strengthen the body?s immune system, passing the time by binge-watching shows (her current fave: The Good Doctor) and doing word games.

As I get older, I get more curious about hyperbaric chambers. So many elite athletes use the chambers for recovery, and it seems to help a lot of them. I didn?t know that a singer like LeAnn could use one as well. But? spending 90 minutes every day in the chamber? LOL. Such jobless behavior. As for what she says about her affair and the backlash? damn, she really didn?t learn anything from that time, huh? Whitewashing her own problematic history too I remember many of the crazy things she did, including creating a finsta in Eddie?s name where ?Eddie? lavished praise and compliments on LeAnn. I remember all of the heinous sh-t she did to Brandi Glanville too. Oh well? it?s been years.

The other day, I randomly thought of LeAnn Rimes and how she?s being weirdly quiet these days. Everyone grows up at some point, I guess. She?s learned how to not live every part of her life on social media, and I think she?s benefited from other celebrity scandals distracting the gossip-watchers who love tacky catastrophes. So, what?s new with LeAnn? She?s surprisingly still married to Eddie Cibrian, and they just had their fourteenth wedding anniversary in April. LeAnn and Eddie rarely go out these days and rarely get pap?d, but LeAnn still performs and tours (she?s arguably still the breadwinner of the marriage). Well, LeAnn is making headlines this week for making a confession on social media. During a recent concert, her fake teeth fell out of her mouth.
Life goes on and so does the show when youre LeAnn Rimes. The country singer, 42, recently posted an Instagram video about an incident during which her fake teeth fell out while she was singing One Way Ticket during her show at The Skagit Casino Resort in Washington.
This is the most epic example of how the show must go on, Rimes said before getting into the details of the snafu, which she noticed when she felt something pop in her mouth.
If you?ve been around, you know I?ve had a lot of dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front,? she said. ?It fell out in the middle of my song.
While she initially began to panic, she chose to get real with the audience instead of walking off stage.
I was literally pushing my teeth in like every couple of lines and singing, she continued. It was the most epic experience ever. I dont usually have firsts in my career. That was a first and hopefully a last.
Since Rimes posted the video before another performance, she jokingly warned fans: ?The front row, get ready for something to fly out. If you catch them, please return them.
You know, good times, just keeping it real with you, as real as I had to last night. As I said, there wasn?t a f thing I could do about it except either walk off or hold my teeth in and sing.

I always wonder about this when celebrities get those big, fake-looking veneers or, as LeAnn has, a whole interconnected front bridge. I have one crown on a back molar and it?s never popped off, so how often does this happen to a bridge or veneers? It would explain why so many celebrities are constantly having dental work too the sh-t is popping off on a regular basis. Anyway, yeah, it happens and I imagine LeAnn?s performance was a doozy. At least she?s being real about it and trying to get ahead of it, in case a video ended up coming out.
PS? I spent a few minutes on her IG, looking at her posts for the first time in years. She still posts a lot about Eddie and his sons, but it?s not the constant daily IGs anymore. And Eddie is still disturbingly handsome, I?m sorry to say. If anything, the salt-and-pepper hair really suits him.

It?s so weird to think of how omnipresent LeAnn Rimes was at one point in the gossip world. That was, like, ten years ago. These days we can go six months without paying attention to her at all. Partly that?s because the mainstream gossip about LeAnn and Eddie Cibrian has really died down over the past five years or so. And for what it?s worth, LeAnn and Eddie have now been together for so long that they?re sort of old-news, gossip-wise. How long have they been together? Well, in late April, they celebrated their ten-year wedding anniversary. I totally forgot that they got married around the same time as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, damn! Like, LeAnn and Eddie got married one week before Will and Kate.
Anyway, even though I?m pretty sure LeAnn and Eddie are broke-ass, they still manage to ?find the money? to go on luxury vacations every month. They went to Cabo for their anniversary, and LeAnn has been dropping photos from their anniversary vacation since they came home. As I?m looking through her IG, I see that she also put together a lil? video of wedding photos. LeAnn is singing, of course.
So, yeah. I?m surprised that they made it ten years. Even longer when you consider that their affair began in late 2008-early 2009. I really did believe that Eddie would divorce LeAnn and try to get her money. That being said, I feel pretty certain that he?s been screwing around on her throughout their entire relationship.

Here are some photos of LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian at the pre-Grammys MusiCares event. I guess it?s worth noting that LeAnn wasn?t invited to the Grammys! But still, good for her for still attending events around the Grammys and reminding people that she?s still around, I guess. I wonder if people in the music industry have kind of forgotten about her and forgotten that she could actually still make music. I wonder if that?s LeAnn-specific though, or whether the country-music industry has just become harsher and harsher for women. Anyway, here you go Eddie and LeAnn looking? together. Or something. LeAnn also spoke to People Magazine at the event. Some highlights:
The key to a no-drama blended family: Rimes shared that the key was ?working on herself? before navigating her new family. Rimes, 37, said it wasn?t until she spent time on herself that she was ?able to feel confident and secure in my own self and then everything around me changed.?
Consider people?s feelings: Rimes added that ?you have to consider everyone?s feelings and you have to allow people to have them and you can?t take them personally,? admitting it?s much ?easier said than done, but at least we shoot for that.?
The kids are fine: Despite challenges, the artist said her family is ?good? and isn?t ?what you would normally think? a blended family would look like. ?Nobody?s fighting, nobody?s doing anything weird? it?s interesting, the kids are older now, it?s fun,? she said. ?The kids are happy and that?s all that matters.?
Whether Jake & Mason are interested in joining her at industry events: ?They?re not that way at all, actually. They?re so chill. I think it?s from being around all of us, they?re like, ?Whatever, no one?s that cool.? Trust me, they put us in our place. They?re like, ?What do you do again? Like, what??

While absolutely none of this is my business, I do wonder what really happened with the plan for LeAnn and Eddie to have a kid together, you know? She sounded like she wanted that and Eddie seemed? I don?t know, maybe less enthusiastic? I wonder if she tried and gave up or whether there were fertility issues or what. Again, it?s absolutely none of my business and I know that. But LeAnn overshared everything for years, it?s weird that she?s never really talked about that. As for the ?blended family? being in a better place these days? sure, I guess. I think a big part of it is that the boys are getting older now and making their own decisions about which parent they see and when and how.

In 2012, LeAnn Rimes entered a ?treatment facility? for what was supposed to be a 28-day treatment for stress and anxiety. There were always different theories floating around about what was really going on with that whole fking story though. For one, LeAnn had been boozing it up especially around her 30th birthday, and she entered the treatment facility two days after said birthday. Brandi Glanville claimed LeAnn went to ?tweehab? because at the time, LeAnn was being especially crazy on Twitter 24-7. LeAnn?s management insisted that LeAnn really was suffering from too much stress, and something about bullying too. I don?t remember. What I do remember is that the ?28 days? was absolute bullst. LeAnn left the facility after a matter of days to perform at a concert. Then a week later, she was at a premiere with Eddie Cibrian. I said at the time that LeAnn didn?t so much enter a ?treatment facility? as she just came and went as she pleased from some kind of spa. I still believe that.
Why this trip down memory lane? Because LeAnn gave a speech at the Hope for Depression Research Foundation?s luncheon this week and suddenly she?s trying to pretend that back in 2012, she was in some sort of real-deal facility where she was alone for 28 straight days? For the love of God.
Seeking treatment for anxiety and depression was the best gift LeAnn Rimes ever gave herself since it likely saved her life, she revealed Wednesday. The Grammy Award-winning singer checked herself into treatment on Aug. 29, 2012, the day after she turned 30, she told the packed audience at the Hope for Depression Research Foundation?s 13th Annual Luncheon Seminar at The Plaza Hotel in Manhattan. Breaking down in tears at the podium, she said, ?Honestly, It was the best birthday gift I could have ever given myself because I don?t know if I would have made it to the next one.?
During her emotional speech, Rimes talked about how she was ?panicking? on the way to the treatment facility because she would be all alone for 28 days straight and left to face her thoughts, fears ? and pain. ?Honestly until the day that I checked myself into that treatment center, I had never been alone,? she said. After her loved ones said their goodbyes, ?it was real,? she said. ?It was the first time I couldn?t run anymore and I was running from a lot of trauma.?
She broke down again, pausing for a moment before regaining her composure. ?I cry because I am so happy to be able to share this because there is a lot of hiding that goes on and there is a lot of shame,? she said. ?I know that so many people here understand that, so thank you for offering me the podium, because being able to share that is healing. It is freaking healing.?
On Wednesday, she talked about the toll of the ordeal [of her affair with Eddie Cibrian and the years-long fallout]. There was ?a very public shaming around my relationship with my now-husband of nine years,? she said. ?And all the running, and all of the hiding and all of the shame that lived inside was incredibly exhausting. I wasn?t sleeping, though I couldn?t get out of bed, which made no sense to me. I was having debilitating panic attacks where I could not breathe and honestly, I think I?ve been holding my breath my entire life.? Then came the help she so badly needed. ?I was so fortunate to have wonderful friends around me, and a wonderful husband, and a great support system ? that sat me down and suggested that I get help.?

I don?t doubt that LeAnn is an anxious person, or that she?s incredibly high-strung or that she has significant mental health issues. We know all that. We?ve seen it over the years. What bugs me is the complete rewrite on what was actually happening out in public, facts about her life that we already witnessed. She didn?t get some intensive 28-day treatment, she was in and out of that place as soon as she got some sympathetic headlines. She was publicly shamed because she was openly cheating on her husband with another married man, a man she openly pursued until she destroyed both of their marriages. Also: wouldn?t her mental health be in a better place today if she hadn?t married a compulsive liar and degenerate cheater? God knows what kind of gaslighting Eddie has done on her over the years.

It?s been Vintage Celebitchy Week here for some reason. We didn?t plan it out, it just happened organically, where we had vintage-flavor stories about people like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and now LeAnn Rimes. LeAnn made an appearance at last night?s Hallmark Channel Summer Party. Something nice: she seems like she?s at a healthy weight and she doesn?t look like she?s blatantly Single-White-Female-ing another woman. Something mean: her hair is an absolute catastrophe. I?ve never wanted to give another woman a total hair makeover so much.
Some people side-eye the Hallmark Channel, but you know what? There?s actually a huge audience for those sugary TV movies about families and romances-involving-hand-holding. The Hallmark Channel is popular with the church-going crowd and people like my mom, who binges on Hallmark movies during the holidays. This is the demographic LeAnn wants to appeal to, and so she?s trying. She attended this party because she?ll have her own Hallmark Channel Christmas movie coming out in December. It?s called It?s Christmas, Eve. She plays ?Interim school superintendent Eve Morgan? who has to shut down a school?s ?failing music program.? I?m absolutely positive this will involve LeAnn singing to a group of children.
So there you go LeAnn is in a Christmas movie. Shell probably do a Christmas tour and another Christmas album. And wheres Eddie Cibrian? Knee-deep in Canadian strange, would be my guess.

Here are some photos of LeAnn Rimes yesterday in New York. I?ll discuss what she was promoting in just a moment. First, let?s talk about this outfit! I realize that it?s probably a real shirtdress, from a real store, and it was billed as one-piece dress. But it really looks like she just grabbed an oversized shirt and she?s wandering around New York without pants. Also: those heeled boots are ridiculous, I?m sorry. I?m not a shoe person but my God, why do women wear those?
As for what LeAnn is promoting? she?s talking about her last album, her upcoming Christmas tour (?tour?) and her gig in a brand-new movie. You guys have seen the trailers for Logan Lucky, right? The film was directed by Steven Soderbergh, and it stars Channing Tatum, Adam Driver, Daniel Craig, Katie Holmes and more. The story is basically about two dipsh-t brothers (Driver and Tatum) planning a heist with the help of Daniel Craig?s jailbird character. They?re robbing a NASCAR race, so it?s like the Southern deep-fried version of Ocean?s Eleven. Anyway, LeAnn has a cameo in the film. She?s the one singing ?America the Beautiful? at the NASCAR race. She appeared on the Today Show (you can see the video here) and the AOL Build series. Here are some videos:
So, now you know. If you go to Logan Lucky, you are supporting LeAnn Rimes? career! And I?m sure that Soderbergh totally watched LeAnn perform at a NASCAR race a few years ago. Who would have trouble believing that?!? The way she describes it, it makes me think that the original singer they cast probably pulled out at the last minute. I wonder who the first choice was? Blake Shelton? Luke Bryan?

Last week, Brandi Glanville made an exclusive statement to The Dirty about LeAnn Rimes and her history of single-white-female-ing Brandi. It?s not a case of ?allegedly? – LeAnn has a history of stalking Brandi?s social media and doing creepy, inappropriate things in real life around Brandi. Brandi laid it all out in the statement, and she pointed out how LeAnn has been watching Brandi?s boyfriend?s Snapchat. Brandi accused LeAnn of tracking her movements via Snapchat, Twitter and Instagram and said that LeAnn followed Brandi to Nobu in Malibu. Not only that, but LeAnn brought Brandi and Eddie?s sons to Nobu. Eddie Cibrian eventually responded, saying that Brandi is crazy and that LeAnn never follows or stalks or copies Brandi and that LeAnn had made the Nobu reservation days earlier. Brandi refuted that by posting the receipts: LeAnn has watching Brandi?s boyfriend?s Snapchats. So, here?s Eddie Cibrian?s answer to that:
“Brandi was very drunk and after already being at our table, started to come back again. Her boyfriend ‘ran interference’ and came to ask if she could take photos with the kids,” Cibrian claims in an exclusive statement to Us Weekly. “After witnessing Brandi’s behavior at the restaurant I was concerned about what pictures Brandi might post. We looked at their socials after we got home to make sure there was nothing of concern. That’s exactly how it all went down.”

Granted, I don?t have Snapchat, but Brandi didn?t claim that Eddie and LeAnn had viewed the boyfriend?s Snapchats AFTER the Nobu incident. Brandi tracked it after the fact and discovered that LeAnn had been tracking the Snapchats during the day leading up to the Nobu visit. So, obviously, Brandi had to respond:
“[Eddie?s] statement does not explain why LeAnn and her assistant were both viewing my boyfriend?s Snapchats prior to our arrival at the restaurant. At the moment we saw them at Nobu we questioned the timing and saw they had viewed the Snapchats prior. This happened while we were at the restaurant. He states he looked at them after he got home,? Glanville tells Us. ?To justify your wife’s stalking of my boyfriend’s social media as you were ‘concerned’ as to what we might post seems a bit far-fetched. I am not interested in this back-and-forth game. I am asking for them to leave us alone and not monitor our lives through social media and other methods.”

Exactly. I mean, you don?t have to believe that Brandi is the least sinful angel on earth to make sense of her story. Eddie?s story makes zero sense. And now I?m wondering? is Eddie just parroting whatever excuses LeAnn has been giving him? Does he really not understand the extent of LeAnn?s single-white-female-ing tendencies? Does he not realize that LeAnn sits around all day cyber-stalking his ex-wife?

LeAnn Rimes? new album came out a few weeks ago, and it’s already bombing hard. The album is called Remnants, as in ?we are witnessing the last remnants of LeAnn Rimes? career.? Harsh but true. While LeAnn still gets singing gigs and does some very limited ?tours? (are three or four stops really considered a ?tour??), her career is really not in a great place. I assume she has some money saved, although keeping Eddie Cibrian in the luxury by which he?s grown accustomed costs a pretty penny. I do worry about LeAnn?s finances because I generally think they are in shambles. Which is why she keeps recording music. She?s been aiming for a musical comeback for years now and nothing has stuck. To promote Remnants, LeAnn chatted with Billboard about how she?s totally let go of her ego. Sure, Jan.
The importance of ?remnants?: ?People say, ?Oh, she?s falling into pieces. She?s having a nervous breakdown. But no one talks about the beauty of falling apart.?
What she?s let go of: ?Well, my ego. That is something I?ve gratefully let go of. I started in the industry so young. I look back and I don?t even know how I am alive at this moment. That is probably the biggest feat in my life: surviving. I was a child star and I still get to make music as an adult. It feels like my best years aren?t behind me. The biggest thing that got me here was finding humility ? I cry talking about this sh-t. (She tears up.) It?s really deep. Once it wasn?t about my ego anymore, I became human. To be able to create from that place is incredible.

It?s interesting: I can?t stand to get dressed before a show, to look in the mirror and do my makeup. My mom had me all dolled up from when I was really young. So I?ve always been uncomfortable with it, with the insecurities that pop up. Especially when you?re getting ready to be so vulnerable [onstage], it?s like, ?Oh, God. I want to hide.? But as I get older, I?m more like, ?OK, I?m cool looking in a mirror.? Being in the public eye and social media if you don?t know yourself, you?ll be dragged into a very dark place.
The song ?Mother,? whether she wants to have kids: ?I would love to have kids. I?m taking it day by day ? I?m still young. The song is about how your parents are supposed to be superheroes, but of course they aren?t. There?s baggage they bring from their parents, and their parents? parents. When my mom ran away at 18 to marry my dad, her mom burned all her clothes. I?ve always been fearful of having children, because I didn?t want to pass that pain down. I wanted to heal myself before bringing a child into the world. I?m not even close to doing it, really, but I think that?s where the pain stops.
LGTBQ rights: Equality is a big thing for me, partially because I?ve been so picked apart and judged my whole life. I?m very aware of judgment. My uncle, who was gay, died of AIDS when I was 11, and my dad was the only one that showed up at his funeral that stuck with me. For anyone to put a boundary on love is insane to me. Why do people care so much about what someone else is doing? We?re talking about human rights. It?s 2017 and we?re really talking about this? It?s ridiculous.?

If you take LeAnn at face value, she?s not saying anything bad or controversial. But if I?m being honest, I chuckled to myself (and then felt guilty about it) when she teared up when she discussed how humble she is. Like, you can?t make this stuff up. She cries when she thinks about how amazingly humble she is. She almost burst into tears when talking about how she had to let go of her ego. Oh, honey.
One thing I?ll give her: I sort of believe that she doesn?t want to have a baby right now because she just isn?t sure if she would project all of her crappy drama onto an innocent baby. Hey, at least she?s self-aware enough to acknowledge that.
