Their life is stranger than fiction sometimes, and LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are looking to capitalize on the drama with a new television project.
According to an insider, the ?Can?t Fight the Moonlight? singer and her handsome hubby are in the process of pitching a sitcom, and they both want to star in it themselves.
The source explained, "They would play versions of themselves, kind of like on Curb Your Enthusiasm."
And of course, ?The show will have a crazy ex-wife,? referring to Eddie?s former spouse Brandi Glanville.
Additionally, "[Cibrian?s kids] Mason and Jake are not involved. If kids end up being on it, they would be played by actors -- not Eddie's children."
Another spy added, "They've met with a few networks. Nothing is finalized yet, but they're seeing where the show could go."

Lindsay Lohan made an appearance onThe Late Show last night to promoteScary Movie 5. That was the plan anyway. Instead, the conversation veered off into rehab talk. David Letterman told Lindsay he thought she was supposed to be in rehab right now. Turns out that’s not until May 2nd.
Letterman decided to dig a little deeper getting Lindsay to tell him she’s going to be there for 3 months. However, when he asked what she was going in there for, Lindsay said, “We didn’t discuss this in the pre-interview, just saying.”
Lindsay then went into PR mode saying it’s good for her and blah blah blah. Letterman kept pressing if it was addiction problems but Lindsay dodged those questions like she dodges court dates. Not very well.

She decided not to run for US Senate after a brief consideration, but Ashley Judd still felt the Sting of the political process thanks to an unauthorized recording of a meeting in Mitch McConnell?s office.
On the illegally-obtained tape, Senator McConnell and his team can be heard discussing the ?Double Jeopardy? dame in an unflattering light, questioning her fitness for a government position.
A meeting leader declared, "She's clearly, this sounds extreme, but she is emotionally unbalanced. I mean it's been documented. Jesse can go in chapter and verse from her autobiography about, you know, she's suffered some suicidal tendencies. She was hospitalized for 42 days when she had a mental breakdown in the '90s."
The diatribe continued, "She is critical?of traditional Christianity. She sort of views it as sort of a vestige of patriarchy. She says Christianity gives a God like a man, presented and discussed exclusively with male imagery, which legitimizes and seals male power, the intention to dominate even if that intention is nowhere visible."
?She?s clearly sort of anti-sort-of-traditional American family. She described having children as selfish, and she thinks it's unconscionable to breed. She also is critical of, of fathers giving away their daughters in marriage ceremonies. She says it's a common vestige of male dominion over a women's reproductive status when her father gives her away at a wedding."
Regarding the illegal recording, McConnell?s rep told press, "Senator McConnell's campaign is working with the FBI and has notified the local U.S. Attorney in Louisville, per FBI request, about these recordings. Obviously a recording device of some kind was placed in Senator McConnell's campaign office without consent. By whom and how that was accomplished presumably will be the subject of a criminal investigation."

This story is kind of funny and kind of weird. Like, it would be fun to laugh at Miranda Kerr for getting pushed out of a lucrative and high profile gig because she does nothing for the brand, but I?m not sure that?s what this is. Us Weekly reports that Miranda has been pushed out of Victoria?s Secret ? she will no longer be an Angel. She?s not being out-right fired, her contract isn?t being renewed this year. So? what?s happening?
This Angel’s getting her wings clipped! Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr will no longer be linked to the sexy lingerie brand, industry insiders tell Us.
According to multiple sources, Kerr, 30, is being let go as a Victoria’s Secret Angel after her $1 million, three-year contract “was not renewed.” The reason for the sudden split? One source tells Us that Kerr “has a difficult reputation.”
The Australian beauty, who is mother to 2-year-old Flynn with husband Orlando Bloom, 36, is also reportedly “not a big seller for VS,” while other Angels, like Candice Swanepoel and Alessandra Ambrosio, are.
“They can still use her for catalogue, where she will get a day rate, but she doesn’t have to be an Angel to do that,” the first source said.
Executives from Victoria’s Secret wouldn’t deny that the contract has not been renewed, but chief marketing officer Ed Razek tells Us that he has already invited Kerr to walk in the 2013 show.
“We have no plans to stop working with her,” he said.

Huh. Does Miranda have a ?difficult reputation? or does Victoria?s Secret just hate that she?s A) not blonde, B) 30 years old, C) a mother, and D) expensive compared to the younger, newer models who will work cheaper? It could be a combination of all of those things, really. It could be all of that plus Miranda doesn?t do much for the brand, although if we?re going to make that argument, I doubt Alessandra Ambrosio does much for the brand. Or Erin Heatherton. Or Lily Aldridge.
Which brings me to my point? I stopped buying lingerie at Victoria?s Secret years ago. I stopped the second I realized that my bust had increased from a D to DD (and even then, I think I?m wearing the wrong cup size) and I realized how difficult it would be to find cute stuff in my size. I?m just putting that out there ? I think Victoria?s Secret is pretty cheesy but I would probably still be buying some stuff from Vicky?s if I thought I could fit in it. If I was a petite woman with B cups? Sure. I would buy from Vicky?s. But it?s absurd to say that women are buying from Vicky?s because Miranda Kerr tells them to, or Lily Aldridge or whatever.

NBC persists in its late-night shakeup after last week’s official announcement that Jay Leno was retiring (again) and handing the reins of the “Tonight Show” to Jimmy Fallon. This bit of news has been followed up with the rumor that Seth Meyers might replace Fallon, and of course, nobody knows who would replace Seth on “SNL.” Not that it matters — I don’t know a single cast current “SNL” cast member’s name except Meyers.
Another development in this sudden burst of reprogramming is a bit of a surprise. Alec Baldwin is supposedly in the running to replace Carson Daly in the “Last Call” time slot. Yes, that’s the same Alec Baldwin who can barely control his rage at any slight provocation, and he would be interviewing other celebrities. Could this actually work? It sounds almost genius:
A well-known name is the latest to surface in the populated field of late night television hosts: Alec Baldwin. The Emmy-winning actor is in the mix for a spot in NBC’s late-night lineup, one executive involved in the network?s program planning said. The executive asked not to be identified because the talks were still in initial stages.
The most likely landing place for a show hosted by Mr. Baldwin would be in the latest of NBC’s entries, the show now called “Last Call.” That half-hour interview program currently stars Carson Daly. Mr. Daly is also the host of NBC’s biggest show, “The Voice.”
NBC is in the midst of what looks like a complete overhaul of its late-night lineup. Last week, the network confirmed that Jimmy Fallon, now host of NBC?s “Late Night,” would be taking over the “Tonight” from Jay Leno when he steps down next February. The show will move from Los Angeles to New York with Mr. Fallon as star.
After that move was announced, speculation immediately began about who might succeed Mr. Fallon at the “Late Night” show. Now the mutual interest between Mr. Baldwin and NBC about opening a late-night spot for the actor could result in three new late-night hosts for NBC.
Mr. Baldwin ended his much-praised run as a star on this NBC comedy “30 Rock” this season. He twice won the Emmy Award for Best Actor in a Comedy for his work as Jack Donaghy.
Mr. Baldwin has also been long regarded one of the best guests on late-night television shows. And he has won critical praise for a podcast series he created with WNYC radio in New York, called “Here’s The Thing.” In the series, Mr. Baldwin has interviewed a wide range of guests, including David Letterman, Billy Joel, Kristen Wiig, Chris Rock, Lena Dunham, and the Indianapolis Colts quarterback, Andrew Luck.
The advantage of hosting a similar show for television would be that Mr. Baldwin could record several interviews in a single day and leave his schedule open to perform as an actor, either in movies or potentially another television comedy.

Deadline notes that Alec was signed to a two-year overall deal with NBC after he left “30 Rock,” so the network is bound to do something with him to fulfill this contract. Might as well be this project? The thing is … I don’t know if Alec would be down with a show that airs at 1:35 am.
Still, the network could definitely do worse than Alec. People may be incredibly wary of his rage monster ways, but he’s never been anything but a consummate professional in the workplace. I’d really like to see him bring out Shia “Email Leaker” LaBeouf as his first guest, and they could talk about what it really means “to be a man.” That would be rich.

These are photos of Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger (of Nickelback) out in LA a couple of days ago. Avril is sporting some really ratty too-long extensions here. She shaved half her head in September so it’s not like it’s grown out to nearly her waist in the interim. I love how they’re color coordinated in all-black with bleached blonde hair. They look sympatico.
As you once knew and have forgotten by now, these two are engaged. Because when you get two washed up Canadian musicians with inflated senses of talent and self worth together – magic happens. These two consider their love story magical, too. Avril and Chad were in a joint interview with Ryan Seacrest when they discussed how they met (in the studio!) and how they just knew they were meant for each other, from the very start. They also divulge that they’re planning a small-ish wedding but that it will be “spectacular” and have some kind of theme, which Avril is trying to keep a secret from Chad. I’m guessing it will involve black skulls and Pink hearts. Here’s more, thanks to US Magazine:
“When you’re sitting there across from someone singing into the microphone and you’re singing a love song, you start to develop feelings for them,” Kroeger, 38, told Ryan Seacrest in a joint interview with Lavigne on Tuesday, April 9. “And it just kind of blossomed into this kind of thing and the next thing you know ? we started dating [last summer].”
Lavigne added that fellow Canadian Kroeger was quick to make his feelings be known — and she immediately reciprocated.
“We started dating and the next day he was like, ‘You know I’m gonna marry you,’” the “Complicated” singer recalled. “And I said, ‘I know.’ It was one of those things that we just knew.”
Kroeger and Lavigne, 28, announced their engagement last August after just one month of dating, surprising both family and fans.
“Things just clicked real quick,” Kroeger had told radio station K104.7 in April, prior to their engagement. “And then she wanted me to sing on one of [her songs] and then we just started flying on all these different songs.”
Lavigne’s interpretation of their whirlwind relationship is likewise simple. “Well that’s how we met — in the studio — and I was really excited to work with him because he’s also a musician,” she told Seacrest of how their relationship developed. “[We] wrote a bunch of songs together, became really good friends and now we have a wedding.”
Indeed! As Lavigne prepares to launch her first album since 2011?s Goodbye Lullaby (the pair collaborate on several songs, including the new single “Here’s To Never Growing Up”), the couple is also planning a “spectacular” wedding together, Lavigne told Seacrest.
“It’s kind of just a lot of close friends and family. It is smaller,” she said of their plans. “[But] it’s gonna be quite spectacular and there’s a theme to it. But Chad doesn’t even know everything.”
Agreed Kroeger: “Every man knows that we get very little participation in the planning — and these are good things.”

I’m being sarcastic in that intro, as is my default setting, but this is kind of sweet! I don’t expect these two to last more than a couple of years post-wedding, but it’s still sweet. I remember covering Avril’s first wedding, to another Canadian singer, Sum 41?s Deryck Whibley, back in 2006. Those two were even conveniently papped on their honeymoon in Portofino, Italy. I know it’s been seven years and a lot can change in that time, and a lot did change for Avril. She divorced Deryck Whibley after about three years, dated Brandon Davis, got serious with Brody Jenner before eventually realizing that was a bad idea, and then quickly fell in love with Chad Kroeger. This is a woman who seems to get serious fast. She’s still just 28 and this will be her second marriage. I’m thinking she shouldn’t make it official, but I do want to see the photos! This is going to be one trashy Ed Hardy wedding. What do you think the theme will be though, Nightmare Before Christmas? That might be cute.

While some of you might think that Gwyneth feels like she?s coming home when she?s in a Williams-Sonoma store, the truth of the matter is that she probably considers it ?slumming?. For Gwyneth, Crate & Barrel is a ghetto. Williams-Sonoma is probably ?the best? she could do if she wants to appeal to peasants. I actually like Goop?s outfit here ? the blouse is pretty and I like the pop of color with the shoes. Her center part still irritates me and HAHA on Goop being a natural blonde. I?m also including a photo of Goop from behind so you can see her 22-year-old stripper butt.
While I enjoy that the Goop Backlash has come full-force and most people think she?s an elitist a?hole, I should mention that her crazy, neurotic cookbook is selling really well and? well, everybody is talking about her, right? So that?s a win for Gwyneth. I haven?t been able to find any new interviews with Goop, but there is this little piece of news?
Gwyneth and Tracy Anderson will give the keynote speech at the Licensing Expo 2013, which is held in June in Las Vegas. Gwyneth?s speech is called ‘Brands on the Brink of Global Expansion,’ and she will be ?speaking in her capacity as founder of Goop.com, a digital media company and lifestyle resource, and as co-owner of the Tracy Anderson brand, Paltrow will discuss her strategy for global expansion.? Gwyneth said, ?I am pleased to be addressing this business audience relating to the growth and global expansion of both the Goop and Tracy Anderson brands.? She and Tracy will also launch ?global extensions? of the Tracy Anderson brand which includes ?fitness content, custom machinery and equipment, four state-of-the-art fitness studios in the U.S. and a range of DVD fitness programs.? Basically, Goop wants to go global. This is all about money for her and deigning to tell peasants how they should live, how they should exercise, how they should dress and how they shouldn’t eat. Anything. Ever.

Emma Stone covers the May issue of Marie Claire Australia to promote her role in The Croods, which features her voicework as a teenage Neanderthal who falls in love with a slightly more evolved humanoid voiced by Ryan Reynolds. It’s a pretty cute movie for very young kids, and voicework is where it’s at these days. Emma looks quite beautiful on this cover even if the styling is a bit bland, but one doesn’t expect dramatic fireworks from Marie Claire. I think Emma’s got the most gorgeous face, she has followed the typical Hollywood starlet routine of losing a fairly drastic amount of weight over the past few years. I suppose almost anyone would cave to the pressure, but I wanted something different for Emma. Please stand up and give a slow clap to Kim Kardashian. Look at this flattering outfit! Amazing. This just goes to show that Kim sometimes chances upon a full-length mirror and decides to dress for her real shape, not the delusional shape that she thinks she is. Black, stretchy material? Check. Flattering leggings that actually fit? Check. Proportionally showing off her assets (in the form of some cleavage)? Check. And a long, appropriate cardigan/spring jacket that covers the biggest problem area? Check. This outfit might actually believe that she?s somewhat close to 151 pounds. No joke! Also: she just looks so much better without bangs. Seriously.
Anyway, Kim?s divorce trial is coming up in less than a month. Expect several weeks? worth of legal shenanigans being played out in TMZ and Radar. Right now, we?ll just have to make due with this OMG Breaking News that Kim is going to call Kris Humphries as a witness. Which basically means Kim?s lawyer will probably rip him to shreds. ?Um? basketball??
Kim Kardashian just filed her divorce witness list … and it’s now clear as can be — Kim’s lawyer is calling a bunch of witnesses who were involved in the prenup to show Kris knew EXACTLY what he was getting into before saying “I do.”
As you know, Kris is claiming he was defrauded into marrying Kim … left in the dark about her true intentions. But now we know 6 witnesses will testify that Kris was actively involved in every detail surrounding the prenup.
In fact, sources connected with the couple tell us … Kim and Kris were constantly bickering over details in the prenup and that he was as interested in the business of marriage as she was.
Among the witnesses … 2 managers who were heavily involved in the prenup, at least one lawyer involved in the document and a court reporter who was present when the prenup was signed.
There are other witnesses who will testify about the prenup, including Kim and Kris Jenner.
Short story — the mission of Kim’s lawyer is clear — Kris went into this eyes wide open.

Yep. Go ahead and yell at me. I shall be awash in your hatred and convoluted conspiracies and it will only make me stronger!!!!!!! I just don?t understand how Kris Humphries has a legal leg to stand on, at all. He can prove that Kim is a famewhore? sure. He can prove that she re-shot and re-edited parts of her reality show after they split. Sure. He can even prove that she made a lot of money off of the wedding. Definitely. But all of those little pieces don?t add up to fraud, and at the end of the day? he chose to marry her. He saw the hot mess that is the Kardashian family and he chose to become a part of it. Unless Kris Humphries is willing to go before the judge and make the argument that he?s simply too stupid to be allowed to make decisions for himself (it wouldn?t be the worst argument), he?s not going to win.

These are photos of Tom Cruise at the London Battersea Heliport after he and Olga Kurylenko did the Marchesa walk of shame at the UK premiere of Oblivion. I love the above photo simply for the vantage point involved. It’s like Tom’s lifts are walking him around and not vice versa. Tom’s still doing some hardcore international promotion for this movie, and I don’t know how well it will fare in theaters, but it does have Morgan Freeman’s authoritative voice to help reel in viewers. People might not want to see Tom when he’s not jumping off skyscrapers, but they love to hear Morgan’s boom, so the movie will probably fare decently, and Tom will get all the credit for it because he’s such a “movie star.”
Some interviews from Tom’s recent promotional tour of Germany (we didn’t get those photos, which is just as well since you people aren’t showing the love to Tom posts lately) are still filtering out. In particular, Tom has admitted to a German television show that he was very surprised when Katie filed for divorce last June. The message here? Tom thought everything was just fine with him and Katie in their marriage. Because to high-profile Scientologists, everything is always fine — great even. Look at how John Travolta and Kelly Preston put on a happy-happy-joy-joy show for the cameras. There’s nothing to complain about! Nothing is ever wrong. Unless, of course, you’re an awful suppressive person who is necessarily a beacon of negativity. Let’s catch up Tom and his sudden confessional move:
Mum’s no longer the word. Tom Cruise has been mostly silent on his 2012 split from Katie Holmes, but as he tours the world to promote his sci-fi film Oblivion, he’s finally opening up a little about how he felt after their much-publicized breakup. In a new interview with German TV network ProSieben, the actor admits he was surprised when Holmes filed for divorce on June 29, five days before his 50th birthday.
“I didn’t expect it,” he confesses of the end of his five-year marriage to the star, with whom he shares daughter Suri, 6.
Afterward, he says, he “had an unbelievable amount of time to think about it” as he threw himself into his work. The takeaway from all that thinking? “Life is a challenge.”
“To be 50 and to have experiences and to think you have a grip on everything, and then it hits you — this is it, what life can do to you,” he tells ProSieben. “Life is a tragicomedy. You need to have a sense of humor.”

Naturally, Tom’s camp (the CO$) has already crawled out of the woodwork to deny this story, but that doesn’t mean it’s not true. According to Gossip Cop, Tom’s quotes were not only taken “out of context,” but his rep also say that parts of the interview were “made up.” Nice try, Tom.

Here are some photos from a Harper?s Bazaar photo shoot featuring Kate Upton and some exotic baby animals. There?s a lot of controversy, of course, but before I wade into it, can I just say something? I love Upton?s styling in these photos? It?s sort of retro, but it?s also really flattering. I like that she?s not pushing her boobs on us, and I also like that Bazaar got some hair and makeup people who weren?t hypnotized by her breasts and actually put in the effort to make her look great.
Now, on to the controversy. This pictorial is called ?The Animal Nursery? and I guess the theme is good-hearted and big-breasted Kate is some kind of stylish nurse to baby animals, and she poses winningly while holding up various animals. The shoot was styled by Carine Roitfeld and it will appear in all 26 international editions of the magazine. This is hardly the first time a major fashion magazine seemed tone-deaf about how fashion pictorials are ?accessorized?. Vogue has gotten in trouble by using actual BABIES as accessories for fashion shoots, and just a few months ago, Vogue did an absolutely terrible shoot in the areas of New York and New Jersey devastated by Hurricane Sandy. So where does ?using endangered baby animals? fall on the list of editorial disasters? Eh.
Fashionista reached out to Harper?s Bazaar, but no one at the magazine would issue any statements. Fashionists also reached out to Zoological Wildlife Foundation, which apparently provided the animals for the shoot, and they wouldn?t go on the record either. But PETA did, of course. Here?s PETA?s statement to Fashionista:
?The gibbon featured in the photographs is an infant and should be with his mother at all times. Besides the emotional trauma that he has undoubtedly suffered as a result of the separation, his delicate immune system is still developing, and he is susceptible to illnesses that humans carry. All the animals in the photographs are endangered and should be protected, rather than being treated like props.?

Aw, the gibbon should be with his mom. Damn. As for the little tiger? I?m kind of in love with him. I bet he has those super-sharp kitten claws too. That?s actually what bothers me the most about this shoot ? that they had all of those baby animals together on the set. What if the baby tiger thought the baby gibbon was a playmate and those sharp kitten claws come out and then?? Disaster.

Here are some photos of Lindsay Lohan outside of the Ed Sullivan Theater last night, going into and coming out of The Late Show with David Letterman. She looks? slim? She lost weight quickly, right? I wonder how. Sniff. In the photos where she?s wearing the black satin pants? doesn?t she look like a fragile old lady? I think it?s because she?s hiked up the pants too high. She could pass for Nana Lohan. As for the Letterman interview? she?s promoting Scary Movie 5. HA. This was Lindsay?s first TV interview since her appearance on the Tonight Show last November. That was like 50 cracktastrophes ago.
Anyway, would you like to hear about her Late Show interview? She looked and acted crackie. When Letterman asked her about going to rehab, she said: “To be honest, I’m happiest when I’m working ? the healthiest. I think this is an opportunity for me to focus on what I love in life. And I don’t think it’s a bad thing. I think it’s a blessing.” Letterman also asked her direct questions about what her addictions are and why she needs rehab, and Lindsay, the crack genius, managed to avoid answering directly, even complaining that they didn’t discuss those things in the pre-interview. *Lindsay will walk the red carpet for Scary Movie 5 tomorrow night. Charlie Sheen will be her date because of course.
*Lindsay blew? off a deposition. It was for that lawsuit where the guy claims Lindsay crashed into him outside of a nightclub, back in 2010. Although she?s done that a few times, so I barely remember this incident. Anyway, she blew off the deposition and now the guy just wants Lindsay to give him some money. Good luck with that, bro. At the same time she was supposed to be deposed in LA, Lindsay was out for sushi in NYC.
*The prosecutors in LA have almost approved of a New York rehab facility for Lindsay, and they might sign off on it this week. A source tells Radar, ?A facility in New York has been selected that appears to meet all of the criteria set forth by the judge that was made in Lindsay Lohan?s plea deal in her lying to cops case? The main concern was that Lindsay not be given any day passes during the 90 day stay to leave, and prosecutors have been assured this won?t happen. If Lindsay leaves without permission, the prosecutor and judge will be notified immediately, and she will be sent to jail, no questions asked.? Yeah. We?ll see.
*Lindsay?s ?friend? Claus Hjelmbak, a ?Danish celebrity promoter? (??) told Radar that ?Lindsay is in a very dark place right now, and I?m absolutely scared for her life. Coachella is the last place she needs to be. For someone struggling with addiction, like Lindsay, the amount of drugs and alcohol at Coachella is just a recipe for disaster waiting to happen. I know because I have been to the VIP tent at Coachella in the past. Lindsay can turn it around, but she has to look deep inside herself and get the help she needs.? Good luck with that.

Stepping into the spotlight for her first television interview since November 2012, Lindsay Lohan stopped by "The Late Show with David Letterman" on Tuesday (April 9).
The "Mean Girls" star donned a sleeveless floral dress on stage as she fielded some uncomfortable questions from the talk show host while promoting her new flick, "Scary Movie 5."
During the interview, Dave came right out and asked, "Aren't you supposed to be in rehab right now?" to which the 26-year-old actress replied, "Do you not watch anything that goes on? May 2nd."
After admitting that she'd been in rehab "several" times, LiLo was asked how this would be different. "I?m the happiest when I?m working and the healthiest, and I think [rehab] is an opportunity for me to, you know, focus on what I love in life." she explained, adding, "And I don?t think it?s a bad thing. I think it?s a blessing? and not a curse.?
