Nina Dobrev is taking her InstaModel game to new levels. I swear I truly think acting is done with her and that showing her ass is her new gig. Its great. Earlier this week we had her humping, now weve got her hump. Loving this chick.

Its rare that I get jealous of celebrity red carpet duties but this is one of those times. These are photos from a Harry Winston event that just looks amazing. Can you imagine getting paid to model diamonds worth six figures and more? Check out these women rocking these diamonds and precious stones looking pleased as hell. Kaiser reminded me of Oceans Eight today and how much jewelry, fashion, hair and makeup there was in that movie. I saw it in the theater and loved it so much. In fact Katie Holmes had a cameo in that.
Katie was in a red satin Zac Posen gown and went full old Hollywood with her hair and makeup. Zac is a friend of Katies and has dressed her for the Met Gala many times. This dress has such thoughtful design, with art deco lines and open petal sleeves. My only complaint is that her gold shoes look a little mismatched, but thats minor.
Naomi Watts had on a floral Erdem gown accented by green velvet tie belt and matching collar. This is so dowdy, especially the print and color. At least its tailored well but other than that I dislike this.
Jennifer Hudsons expression here says it all. Shes more than happy to model this jewelry. She was in a strapless navy gown with a bodice accented by floral applique and a tulle overlay. Ive never seen tulle used like that, to provide a kind of modesty panel, and its clever.
Heres Angela Sarafyan, who was such a standout in a low cut gown with a corset top and metallic sequin lattice design. I bet it was extremely hard for the Harry Winston people to resist putting a necklace on her, but it works and makes the other jewelry shine. Shes so striking.
Naomi Watts posted this video which says to me Im wearing millions worth of diamonds and I feel fabulous.

Earlier this week, as many of us debated whether we should sacrifice three hours of our life to the Emmy broadcast, Sarah Michelle Gellar found a way to have fun with it. Foregoing the traditional bathrobe over yoga pants look ideal for award show watching, Sarah recreated her 1999 red carpet look and posted it to Instagram:

I read the synopsis and some of the reviews for the new Netflix show Maniac. I?m not sure what to think, honestly. Maybe it will be a huge success, maybe it will end up winning tons of awards for Emma Stone and Jonah Hill, or maybe people won?t even bother with it. It?s supposed to be a mind-bender about trauma, mental illness, technology and how people heal (or not). There are looping timelines, extensive dream sequences and Emma and Jonah play different ?characters? within their central characterizations. I don?t know, will you give it a try? Meh.
Anyway, last night was the big New York premiere event. They?ve been rolling this out like a movie, complete with an international promotional tour. I think that?s because of the prestige of the project Emma is an Oscar winner, Jonah is an Oscar nominee, Cary Fukunaga created it. So this premiere had the feel of a movie premiere. Emma eschewed her Louis Vuitton contract for one night to wear this shiny, metallic Givenchy gown. I kind of hate this on Emma? I don?t like the cutout in the midsection and I loathe the sleeves. That being said, it?s interesting to look at. She didn?t style it well though her makeup makes her look sickly.
Jonah was there, obviously, and he?s been looking pretty good recently. Jonah and Emma have been friends for? what? More than a decade. I think it?s cool that they wanted to do this project together. And of course Edgy Justin Theroux was there (he plays a shady, experimental doctor). I still have my suspicions that he and Emma were seeing each other or are seeing each other.
